What's XPY trading at these days?
It is .0006 BTC right now. That's ~13 cents. Today only $20 flooring on sale for $.13 ? Guys, let it go already... Listen to a hashie ''let it go'' song (btc edition) if you need some inspiration to deal with a scam mentaly. It has no furure. This thread is fun for Homero pictures, trolling etc, but it won't fix anything. It's over. Paycoin is dead. Any further escalation is just trying to make money of those who are less informed and can't judge the price correctly. Acts I and II are over. Just waiting for the III part of this ShitShow, with the climax and the dénouement.

What's XPY trading at these days?
It is .0006 BTC right now. That's ~13 cents. Somebody purchased ~20,000 XPY in the last 6 hours in a pump attempt, and it got shot down back to where it started with less than 5,000 XPY in dumps. And now somebody put a ~15,000 XPY Sell wall @ .00062, so that is going to stifle any renewed pump attempts for a while.

A failed Pump attempt. Baagh Hahahaaha!

More like a dead whale washed up on the beach.
The only thing I like about PayCoin is the strength of community. (Though I do not like that they blindly follow a scammer like he's a prophet) It's a shame these guys got scammed out of $$$ and are now working for PayCoin trying to recoup their losses. They could prolly help a real coin be successful if they would just ditch the scam... XPY had such a strong community, they could have easily been the #1 altcoin, if they were legit instead of money-hungry scammers. I don't think the community is strong at all. Just a handful of gullible fools that don't know when to quit and keep throwing good money after bad. Hashtalk is basically just a bunch of semi-retarded children playing pretend games at this point. Any people with a lick of common sense got out of the Paycoin Cult a long time ago.

The fact that people who do care about the actual future of cryptocurrency are having to reverse engineer their shit to try to make heads or tails of it... True story. I'd rather be working on making crypto better, instead of researching and exposing scams like paycoin. Is PayCoin a red-herring to slow bitcoin progress? More like a dead whale washed up on the beach. We are just trying to keep the kids from playing in it and watching and pointing at all of the vultures picking away at the rotten carcass.

Yes, it appears to be staking at around 10%. This could be a fluke due to skipping stake for periods of time though. Keep in mind that the private keys were not all 100%/year, there were others as well. Not sure if the 10/20% keys are still functional after the code change on 4/20?
As of 4/20 all keys are 100% New keys were not issued the rates for all previous keys was changed. Thanks for clarifying that. Currently it would take 78 BTC worth of XPY to find out if these work. If the historical Paycoin Price Plunge continues at near the same rate it has been, this should be down to 1-3 BTC in a couple months. For that price I would try it, just for shits and giggles. Not that 100% continuously compounding interest would make you a profit when the coin is losing value so rapidly.

Whether someone is using one of the released keys is precisely what I have been trying to check this morning. There are only 8 candidates for this, and thus far the only one that is suspect is the address with ~148,000 XPY in it, #8 on the Rich List: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/#!rich P.S: Personally I see no reason why people would not use these keys, if they work that is. Any notions of honoring what any supposed investors paid for having a Hyperstaking wallet were officially tossed out the window with the seizure/theft/deceptions of such and then the changing of the rules by a handful of shady characters. I see nothing that gives the crooks who say they have exclusive right to use these hyperstaking keys this right at all. Who ever these investors are who paid for these controllers were told that they were designed and coded by world class talent. Clearly that wasn't even remotely true. So, if they want to take it as a 'lesson learned' or a case for litigation is up to them. But, those keys have been compromised and there is no way to fix it. That is patently shoddy coding work that no one can deny. Exactly. The Coin Coding and the Blockchain dictate the rules. The coding says that if you have a certain key and the minimum amount of coins in a wallet then it will work. People buying XPY have not signed any agreement saying that they will only allow a certain gang of crooks to use these hyperstaking keys. If the code allows it, then it is legitimate. Let the Mass Paycoin Hyperstaking commence!

Update: There isn't a good number of consecutive days where that address staked a full day to try to figure out a longer sample. It does appear to be staking at more than 10% from the best days available to check.
It would have changed after the fork if it's a PC? So we have been told. Not sure what the deal is with this address, or to whom it may belong. Lately the number of PC addresses being bandied about is 50, but it used to be 51. Is this the other one? Was this one left out of the boost to 100% and left @ 10%? Edit to add: Update: There isn't a good number of consecutive days where that address staked a full day to try to figure out a longer sample. It does appear to be staking at more than 10% from the best days available to check.
If it averages ~5% over 10 days then it's probably ok. It may have higher payouts on some days if it's been offline for a while. This might be the case. The thing is, I don't see any specific jump, a "catchup" stake, after when it skips a period of staking and then restarts. Not exactly sure how that works though.

What is this address: PNiCoNwxmcUQNEDXkRW4rqmHxTwbDFfx3Z https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?251786.htm ? Doing a rough check on the stake rate it was 10.9% on 4/15 and on 4/27 (The last full day available) it is right @ 15%. These numbers are derived from a whole days stake. This address is not on Mugglick's list. Also, I just checked the address given as payment for the PYC devs, and it shows only 1 payment. Not to say they could not have received payment in other addresses or even in BTC, etc, although I find it unlikely Homero would pay them in anything other than his free Monopoly Money. Paying them in XPY guarantees that they will be actively shilling the coin, especially when it is in installments. The address given happens to be a Bittrex address: PNubeGQTMcDCUqj3AQ25jdMd7sD68CiHzv https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?PNubeGQTMcDCUqj3AQ25jdMd7sD68CiHzv.htmhttps://i.imgur.com/ySV4Aam.jpgNot sure what to think about the XPY sitting there until 3/7. Might just have not been added to the main wallet? Hard to believe these guys would be so naive as to not cash that in when it was worth $10+ per XPY. 10 and 15% stake rate on 1,200 coins? Is that from the wallet only being online/staking on certain days? No, there are ~148,000 coins in the top address. The bottom address is the ~1,200 XPY down payment to the PYC devs. On 4/27 there were exactly 60 XPY staked on 148,589 coins at the start of the day, which is ~14.9%/year P.S: I chose days where there was a full days stake the day before to try to eliminate a delayed payout from the day before being added to the day I was checking. I am going to try checking say 10 full days stake to see what that comes up with, but it looks like this address is staking at at least 10%.

I found Dr WhoCares' signoff post. He seems to have come to the conclusion that even a small merchant exchanging XPY would devastate the price. Duh? Hmmm, wonder where he stumbled on that tidbit of wisdom. Not like myself and others have been clearly saying that for months and showing exactly why that would be the case. Again he says "Very few people are going to trade in thousands of XPY with a value of 15 cents." Uh, wrong. The price of the currency does not matter, only relative stability. What you mean is that the idiot Paycoin Bagholders who are your target customers are not going to part with XPY for that price when they paid 10-100x times that for them. https://hashtalk.org/topic/36689/gold-silver-diamond-emerald-fine-art-business-it-is-coming/93Archive: https://archive.is/STiMlThe best part is this moron saying " If I do not open the Store I will at least put it up and allow people to look around to purchase items but not though the store- more because I said I would and the people here on HT are a great group of people. I would rather lose $10,000 to friends on HT than $100,000 to people I do not know." Great, another "Paycoin Store" where you can't actually buy anything. Brilliant plan. Shocking that the numbers did not add up for his business model of selling things for less than he paid for them.

I'm going to be very generous here and assume that Team XPY is giving out their badges to everyone who asks. Strength in numbers. But seeing how pervasive this stupidity is becoming I'm probably wrong. Maybe, but this guy is continuing on with this line of pure non-sense. Amazingly enough, one of the tadpoles who did not get flicked in the head quite as hard as the others in the Hashtalk fishbowl has called him out (sort of): P.S: Will the UPA protect us from the dreaded ManBearPig?

Reading over this forum really reaffirms my decision not to frequent here. There is so much misinformation and out of context information that this has really become more of a tabloid forum than one that actually helps users and the community.
It's pretty common when faced with a question that has an embarrassing answer to just insult the questioner instead of answering. Q: "Why do you have a hyperstaking wallet? You say it's for the security of the network, but how does a hyperstaking wallet help secure the network any more than a regular one?" A: "This is such a tabloid forum. There's so much misinformation. You're nothing but a blight on the community." Eggzackry. Q: Why does an exchange need a hyperstaking wallet to secure the network? A: From earlier and still relevant : Regardless of whether a trader feels motivated to "do the right thing" and pull their coins from Cryptsy, at this point leaving them there is plain stupid. Whenever there is a sign of something wrong with an exchange it is usually followed by a sudden closure (read :HAxxorD!). SOMETHING is definitely wrong with this whole situation, and the Prime Cuntroller gift to Cryptsy is a sign of pure desperation. Cryptsy has obviously been deeply involved in the Paycoin scam right from the beginning and when it goes down Cryptsy probably will too. Anybody with a lick of common sense needs to get their coins out of Cryptsy immediately. From the Cryptsy Vote thread: I personally think that the entire concept of an exchange being involved this deeply with an obvious scam is an affront to the entire Crypto Community. Having a "vote" to decide whether they are going to openly and actively take part in the massive fraud scheme known as Paycoin is a fucking insult to anyone with more than one braincell and an ounce of integrity. The best way to cast a vote against this ridiculous conflict of interest , that may very well also be criminal, would be to remove ALL coins from Cryptsy. Fuck em. There is no shortage of shitcoin exchanges. Here is where to cast your vote: Click HERE to voteTo show support for decency in the Crypto World, pull ALL coins from Cryptsy. If you like the people in charge of your coins and your personal financial information to be directly involved in the largest Shitcoin Scam ever (Paycoin XPY), then keep your coins there. Also keep in mind that something is definitely wrong with Cryptsy, and if you decide to keep your coins there it is quite possible you will end up losing them, and when it happens you will be getting exactly what you deserve.
