Has anyone had any problems with The Blocks Factory pool? I am mining there, made a 31000 withdrawal to my wallet but id shows as 0 and not showing in the wallet, address is correct, I think I might have just wasted 2 weeks of mining..is there a better pool?
I mined quite a bit at the blocks factory and never had an issue. I suggest contacting them through their support system, they will fix it. It's been fine for me so far. I have it set up for automatic withdrawals though, I haven't ever used their manual withdrawal personally. I have done both manual and auto withdrawls, and never had an issue. FYI, the blocks factory has won 34% of all the GUN blocks ever awarded.. (they were the first NeoScrypt pool) If they were a problem, then someone would have posted by now. Thanks for the response, cannot seem to get anyone there to answer yet, will keep trying, I did a manual withdrawal maybe that's the problem.. I've only had one issue using TheBlocksFactory mining GUN.... While making a manual withdrawal, pasted in a "non-Guncoin" address for another currency. LOL They caught my error, and took care of it once they were contacted. |

I was suspicious 3 years ago too when it opened, but it has worked out fine. They are Legit. I will second the legitimacy of Cryptopia. They have been a decent exchange and seem to be getting better, a little, all the time. |

As many of you know, block 840,000 came and went and there was no issue with the hard fork for any GUN V1.2 or V1.3 users at all. So we will be releasing GUN V1.4 shortly. Please watch for the initial announcement on Twitter and Telegram as we get the OP here and main website updated with the new links and details of the release.
This is a major release for Guncoin as it contains core code from bitcoin core 0.11.x - 0.13.x. - you can see all the details of this release as well as what is yet to come for Guncoin on the updated Roadmap on the Guncoin website. As you may have already seen, GUN V1.4 is available on Github and our website. There is a lot of new features in this one, it should be considered a mandatory upgrade, since there will be a hard fork at block 850,000. Please upgrade at your earliest convenience. We have had quite a few online gun stores and businesses contact us recently just through the contact page on the main website. They are VERY new to crypto currency and were thrilled to learn there is a cryptocurrency they can use today and that it is looking to improve itself all the time - like we are.
So they all have the Users Guide and are learning about GUN and crypto for now and are looking forward to the mobile wallet after we get V1.4 completed in a few weeks. Additionally, we are considering (not for sure yet), doing an online GUN Wallet (like MyMonero or MyEtherWallet, etc.). Having used both of those two, we can see the benefit for having one online instead of tied to your computer. There is no downloading, setup or risk of loosing your hard drive, etc. Plus you can access it from any computer any time.
We think for the local gun establishments out there this might be an outstanding option to supplement a PC/MAC wallet and a mobile wallet.......Comments/feedback???
I believe that an online wallet would be a great option to have. It would need to be as secure as possible, with as little downtime as possible, so users know that their GunCoin is as safe and accessible as can be. A user interface that is simple to understand, with maybe some nondescript links to information/website/etc... Having the ability to import private keys could be helpful too. |

There is no swapping for the hard fork. Basically make sure that you upgrade to the latest wallet and all should be fine. It is always a good time to buy GUN, in my opinion  |

CMC is often inaccurate, so I wouldn't be surprised.
GUNCOIN has a MASSIVE opportunity as the only coin of its type.
I find it impossible that 6 million USD will be the top market cap.
Not when there's an NRA with 6 million members, and a lot more people who can simply invest in this coin.
This will go big.

Guys i have a question... at Cryptopia if you click on Gun info it says that the total supply is half a billion whereas 200mill and CMC. am i missing something?
They are both correct, but in different ways. GUN will have a total supply someday of 500,000,000 (half a billion), but the current supply is basically 200 million at this time. |

It is wonderful seeing the recent activity around GUN. I believe that it may be due to certain factors, such as: There seems to be much new interest in cryptocurrency, expecting 2018 to be a very good year for them, Guncoin included. We have a long running, solid blockchain. We are still in an early adopter phase, with available coins to mine at a still decent reward schedule. The developer is quite active with updates, and appears to be open to ideas to help further the currency. Investors have probably discovered by now that real value can be made with getting involved in micro-cap currencies. Last, but not least...brand recognition. Have to admit - I really like the look of this chart.......need to get it framed and put on the wall..... https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/guncoin/Volume is huge by GUN standards and prices up about 25% today - about 1.0 BTC in volume for the past 24 hours! Very nice, yes, quite frameable. I prefer to look at about a three month spectrum on those charts, since I feel that really shows the overall current trends. Looks like hitting that Million Dollar Mark earlier was/is quite a milestone for GUN. The GUN trading frenzy on Cryptopia continues as GUN has traded over 6.5MIL coins with volume of 2.3BTC with a price topping 50 sats a few minutes ago.....Those are buyers not sellers! 1.6 MIL marketcap and climbing.... I wonder if we'll hit the 1 cent valuation sometime soon. |

All in for future privacy features....definitely a plus when it comes to digital currency.
Also....great job on getting soooooo close to a million dollar marketcap, maybe we'll be there or even past once this posts.
I believe that is a huge milestone.

I had the issue with ver 1.3 release not working at first as mentioned, and didn't understand until a few moments ago how to fix it, LOL. So, in case any others are having issues, I will try to ELI5 (explain like I'm 5). Go to your GUN config files in your Users/AppData GUN directory as GuncoinInfo wrote and make sure it has: rpcallowip=192.168.1.1 Worked for me edit: from GuncoinInfo "I think you may want to make that 127.0.0.0 - that is generic to everyone.....it just cannot have the * in it....." Mine did previously. Glad to be back on track. |

I am going to play the devil's advocate here for a moment and say that we should look at criticism such as what Zarmung left, as constructive.
He did say "looks" like a scam, and did use the friendly term "M8" describing a possible exploit.
Maybe not stated as tactfully as it could have been though.
We all understand that the issue isn't with the difficulty adjustment per say, but most likely what can happen with most
smaller POW coins that could use some additional, and regular hashpower.
So... I invite him to help out with mining if he so chooses, and thank him for his interest.

Good news on Cryptopia today. GUN has been up over 35% with over 500K in trading volume in the past 24 hours.....It appears V1.2 and our path forward is gaining popularity.....Retweets from a few followers with over 10K followers of their own probably helped some too!
That is awesome news. I was wondering what may be some other ideas/avenues to help get the word out. Any advertising ideas out there? |

Just sharing... It might not hurt to run the cpu mining option in your wallets. I got lucky and found two blocks earlier, even one when the hash rate was astronomical |
