23  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BIPS.me – Free Merchant Solutions and Mobile eWallet - 45 Supported Currencies on: April 17, 2013, 03:27:55 AM
Is it is possible to adjust the transfer/mining fee in bips.me to speed up the transfer ?

/AlexC

BIPS does not currently let the user select a network fee for simplicity. This option is still available at WalletBit but we thought it might be confusing for new users at BIPS.

If you are one of our many users, you may have noticed several changes to BIPS over the past few days. We have been working hard to improve customer satisfaction. Our first major announcement is that we have expanded our support staff by 2 additional team members. You can expect much faster response times from both of our support desks at WalletBit and BIPS. In order to ensure customer satisfaction BIPS will continue to expand to suit your needs.

Our second major announcement is that we are merging the WalletBit and BIPS support desks into one. This will reduce redundancies and make it easier for our support staff to answer your questions in a timely manner. Until now both website have been operating their own support software. Combining them into a single support desk will improve response times and save resources.

Our third and final major change to announce is that BIPS has just finished implementing a new price algorithm. This has significantly improved our buy/sell margin. You will notice it is more dynamic, changing more frequently to ensure you receive the best rates.

BIPS is here to serve you. If you have any suggestions for improvements or general comments please contact our support team. We take every suggestion into consideration and your suggestion just might be our next new feature.

27  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-11 Israeli banks limit money connected to bitcoin. on: April 13, 2013, 12:32:48 AM
It appears I didn't take enough time to read it problem . The banks are taking action, not the government - yet.
28  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-04-11 Israeli banks limit money connected to bitcoin. on: April 12, 2013, 04:51:11 PM
This is one of the first major steps taken by a government against Bitcoin. It's too bad Israelis can't buy directly from Gox. However, they can for now at least buy Bitcoins at BIPS which is in Denmark. We also sell directly for ILS.

None of those variables can be accurately predicted. Your guess is as good as anyone's and in the end it will still remain an educated gamble.

If you built it immediately it should theoretically turn a profit within weeks to a month. Beyond that point is anyone's guess.
32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: First BFL ASIC! on: April 03, 2013, 10:20:40 PM
LOL it's 100% of a 25GH/s Mini Rig (FPGA)  Wink

Would it be possible to take an IR photo of the device hashing? Most IR cameras I have used have PIP or SBS with standard digital cameras. You could quickly dispel this rumor by taking an IR photo with the same setup in the picture (showing hashrate).

36  Economy / Goods / Re: Avalon Batch 2 Pre-Order #666 - 666 BTC on: March 24, 2013, 05:24:07 AM
I paid over 60 BTC, not USD.

When BFL Fails with this chip batch and goes bankrupt (from people requesting refunds) what are you going to do with your butterflies then? When was that last update they gave?

[Edit]

I paid over 66 BTC for my avalon at the time. You must be crazy to think I would let it go for $2000.
37  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: hardware valuations on: March 24, 2013, 05:12:29 AM
If apples we $50+ each what would he pay?  How much would seeds go for?

And what if the price of those apples could be $100 or more by the time they are ripe?
