The one with the most ammo.
And who is that? That's the million dollar question. yes that's what makes this situation so interesting. Feels a bit like a spring ready to burst one way or the other...but even if it did move so many people are split in opinion that they can't let it. That's to say, that the difference in ammo is close to zero. I would say the ammo is on the buying side. After the big sell-off that brought us down to the $4 trading range there are a lot of people sitting on cash waiting to get in. The only ones who knows just how many coins are stored on the site for quick sale are gox staff.

The new Bitcoinica interest rate indicator is showing they have enough USD reserves now. It is quite possible we are at the bottom and those with shorts from $6 will be liquidating soon.

Maybe I'm just too naive, and aught to get with the program and say that everything I do comes perfect, straight from God.
No need to get sacrilegious about anything like you-know-who. Just tell everyone that you are really Satoshi and no one will question what you do from that point on. Either that or tell them Satoshi told you to kick you-know-who's ass.

Dear Bitcointalk.org users,
We at Bitcoin Magazine were unaware of the actions or intentions of the user paraipan and subsequently asked him to remove the reference to Bitcoin Magazine in his signature. He volunteered to work for the magazine as a Spanish translator but has not had any direct involvement with the development of the magazine to date. Economy / Speculation / Re: steady selling pressure, should be at $3.00 very soon
|

$4 could be the new $2. We rebounded higher than the pre-drop price which could signal a reversal in the trend. If people leveraged with $ on the way down from $6 they could have kept on leveraging, collecting interest and pushing the price down further. I think what we have seen over the past couple of days was the result of Zhou charging interest on longs at Bitcoinica. Everyone who was leveraged from $2 has already de-leveraged and we are now being powered by shorts. When they take their profits we will also see a nice rebound in price. The interest being paid to shorts is also steadily dropping. What happens when he starts charging for shorts? If $4 is like $2 was then we are headed back up soon.

I wonder how many people are prematurely (or early) liquidating their long positions from lower prices. The interest charges on the longs in the unrealized swap groups do not count unless you liquidate after the 16th. In other words you are not actually being charged interest if you wait a couple more days and don't get caught up in the panic.

For some reason I can't select Canadian Dollars on the Newegg.ca gift card. Is this a glitch on the site or do I submit the amount in BTC and it automatically converts to Canadian Dollars? Also has anyone used this on Newegg.ca before who is able to confirm everything in smooth sailing? Thanks.

Guess I have to put out a bit of a fire here. False alarm folks.
Matthew had said that he would be on the road until Monday, South Korea time I presume. I think we should expect to hear from him within 24 hours.
Ahem, Was off by a day but was nothing to panic about. As I tried to make clear early on with this post.
