Liverpool's big win over Bournemouth was very natural because the performance or quality of the Liverpool team was much better than Bournemouth's, so it was not surprising when Liverpool won easily.
Currently, the quality of Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are not much different so it is difficult for us to predict what will happen at the end of the season, but what is certain is that these three teams have the potential to compete fiercely in the race for the Premier League title this season.
I will not underestimate any of these three teams.
It was a really convincing win indeed. In Salah's absence people were wondering what Liverpool were going to do in the games without him. The Bournemouth game was an easy one on paper and Liverpool showed it to us by a solid gameplay. Nunez and Jota scored two goals each to destroy their opponent by 4-0.  I'm quite happy for Nunez to score here. Because he really needed some push to improve his performance. This must have made a good impact on his self-confidence. While Salah is away Nunez has more responsibility to keep the scoring productivity at a good level. |

And Juventus have taken the lead! It was a quite comfortable game against Lecce as I expected. There is a significant level of improvement in finishing skills at this team these days. We saw that against Lecce as well after winning by 3-0. Vlahovic had a really solid day by scoring two goals by the way. He is seen as a valuable player for the team now and it might not be easy for other teams to sign him. I remember the time Juventus were keen on a probable deal for Vlahovic once. Now he is in a completely different situation. He is actually a capable striker. He just didn't have an ideal season the last time. He is quite likely to score many more goals this season. |

It looks like Ivan Toney isn't leaving Brentford just yet. Because some sources say that he has decided to stay at least until the end of the season. Chelsea and Arsenal have been the most interested teams in him recently and they will have to wait for a little more then. But will it be worth the wait? I think yeah, definitely. Because Toney is a very capable striker you know. He was a great scorer before getting the lasting punishment. Now he is back in action and he already scored a goal in his last game. He is definitely a good alternative for some bigger teams at the moment. |

West Ham United for the win today? No! They don't have lot of players, they'll definitely lose three points.
You know actually West Ham could have won this game. It was a really dramatic ending to it honestly. Because the equalizer by Sheffield Utd came in the last minute of the game. The goal minute was 90+13, unbelievable!  West Ham were really lacking many players but the performance was still not that bad. Sheffield Utd are quite an interesting team though. They made huge difficulties for Aston Villa as well before and now we see a similar effort against West Ham. But Sheffield Utd are still the worst positioned team in the standings and will probably relegate. |

A really easy game is waiting for Real Madrid tomorrow. They are going to host the worst team in the league which are Almeria. However they had better not underestimate them at the same time. I don't believe Almeria can do it against them as well though but we shouldn't forget how they played against a Girona which have been fighting for the league title so far. Real Madrid should be able to dominate the game easily on paper and get a comfortable win by at least a gap of two goals. The thing I'm curious about Real Madrid the most is what they will do in the Champions League from now on actually. Because Courtois is out for the season so Kepa has a big responsibility. An easy game? They've just faced them greatest rivals within the last few days, first it was the triumph against Barcelona in the Super Cup finals as they went ahead to beat. Barcelona with four goals to one. Having a team like Almeria in this fixture whoare down below aslo makes it very difficult for Real Madrid to come out as winners of this particular game. I'm expecting a hard one today since they should be having enough fatigue and tired legs from the game against Atletico Madrid. At least Sevilla has seen some good improvements with how they play, I just double doubt they'll be getting a great performance when they face Girona who are gunning for the top this season. Hard game hard prediction. At least I'm not forgetting Girona has a good record against clubs below tenth position on the La Liga table. You were right about the difficulty of the game. Real Madrid really struggled quite much but like you said it must be due to fatigue. Otherwise there is just no way Almeria can be a competitive opponent for Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu. When Almeria got 2-0 ahead I was still astonished though. Because I believed it was too much anyway. But thankfully there was a much more different Real Madrid in the second half. After doing a really hard work there was the comeback to 3-2. Bellingham also played a big role in this comeback by a goal and an assist. He could have scored even two goals if it wasn't disallowed. The way Real Madrid won was so dramatic too as the winning goal came in the final moments. |

It was a really shocking result indeed. Who could have expected for this kind of a result? Even when Werder Bremen got ahead I was still comfortable about Bayern Munich to make a comeback. Because in the end they had Kane and many other productive players on the pitch to do so. However somehow Werder Bremen managed to keep the score at 1-0 until full time.
This is great news for Leverkusen of course because this result helped them increase the gap to seven points between them. Maybe Bayern Munich can still drop this gap by three points when they win their absent game. But it is still a serious advantage on the road going to the league title.

Will Still has been doing a really nice work with Reims so far in this season. I mean this is a serious improvement for now when it comes to their placement in the standings compared to the previous season. If you don't remember Reims finished the previous season at the 11th position. Now they are a fighter for a European tournament spot. Especially their 3-1 win over Monaco in an away game recently is the most impressive performance I have seen from them so far. Collecting as many points as possible against their direct opponents is really crucial for Reims to maintain their presence in this competition. |

Who will save Sevilla? Quique Sanchez Flores also couldn't make a good start for now. I don't want to be prejudiced about him early anyway but I'm really used to seeing Sevilla in this condition for a couple of years. Therefore it is quite hard to believe a manager they bring to make the team successful. I always say, Mendilibar was quite successful and he should have stayed longer. Today Girona will probably beat Sevilla home but like I said before I won't bet on Girona anyway after watching them against Almeria. But Girona had better win this one after getting a shocking loss. Real Madrid have a good advantage over them by a missing game to play. |

If I'm not wrong Manchester City can take the lead from Liverpool if they manage to win their missing game. Manchester City will probably win that game which is Brentford as well. But until then they have to keep the point gap like this at worst. Maybe they can get ahead earlier as well in Salah's absence for Liverpool but we will see. In short Liverpool must be fully aware of the big threat behind. In the meantime I'm curious about Arsenal too. Do you think they can rejoin the title competition? Florian Wirtz is one of wonderkids in today's football you know. Top teams such as Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are rumoured to be interested in a move for him these days. He is worth 100 million euros in the market now 100 mil? I don't think he is worth more than 60 mil, how many games has he played so far with the major team ? Like 10? Players are valued at much higher level these days. He is talented for sure but the price I see on Transfermarkt is 100 million euros for him. Would those teams like to offer that much money for him? I don't know. If Manchester United were among those interested teams I would have said yes immediately though.  By the way he has played in a lot of games with Leverkusen so far. He has been a part of the major team regularly since the 2020/2021 season actually. We have seen 30 goals and 42 assists in 119 games from him since then. This is quite impressive for currently a 20-year-old player. |

AC Milan won the game in Udine in the final minutes, to be exact minute 93. The game was paused, there were racist insults against Maignan...in italy this happens again and again. The result was as expected, AC Milan take the 3 points.
Tonight Lecce play vs Juventus Turin and if Juventus win, they can stay on first place in the league for a few days. Inter Milan have to play vs SSC Napoli in the Supercoppa tomorrow, it is the final. Their next game in Serie A is not until January 28.
Milan were really much better in the second half but I believe that third goal was an extra. Because they had 2.06 xG in the whole game and the winning goal came in the stoppage time as well. But if you ask me what the fair result was for this game I would say Milan deserved to win anyway. But if we didn't see improvement in the second half they might have even lost the game. When Udinese got ahead I was really worried about Milan. Because you know Udinese are one of the worst teams this season. It would be disappointing to see Milan losing points in such game. Okafor and Jovic both entered the game in the second half and scored goals to change the fate of the game. |

A pure destruction by Arsenal! We are able to see them winning a game in the league finally. Because they failed doing so for the past three weeks. This affected their position in the title competition really significantly at the same time. This huge win by 5-0 can be some help for them to get on their feet again at least. But consistency will be key from now on. Even though Martinelli scored two goals Gabriel Jesus was still the man of the match if I'm not wrong. Gabriel Jesus couldn't score maybe but made an assist. If he improves his scoring productivity it would be really useful for Arsenal in the rest of the season. |

I'm quite surprised to see Luis Enrique not subbing Kylian Mbappe off already. I mean the Orleans game going on in the Coupe de France right now. We are in the last minutes of the game but still he is on the pitch. He has contribution in every single game PSG have scored so far of course. But I think it is better to rest your best player as much as possible in a game like this. It is risky as well because your player can get injured and miss more important games too. I believe Bayern Munich are one of the luckiest teams in the draw of this round. Because their opponent is Lazio which haven't been doing well since the beginning of the season. I mean Lazio are really bad in the Serie A but better in the Champions League. But being better here wouldn't be a big help for them against Bayern Munich. Maybe Bayern Munich weren't very impressive with their game in the group stage in general. However they are still a much more qualified team than Lazio. In addition to that I expect a big improvement in their game from now on. I don't think Bayern Munich would have any issue no matter home or away. Is it the Lazio I watched against Inter Milan yesterday night? Lol, they're going nowhere even if I'm not happy with Thomas Tuchel and his decisions regarding transfer window, I know Bayern Munich are superiors to Lazio with a massive development and margin. Milan are desperately trying to keep up with Inter and Juventus but it is really difficult for them. Because they lost so many points in the first half of the season which caused the point gap to be opened very much. But at least Milan have started getting positive results in the recent times which is good. Maintaining this look would be nice for securing the third place at least. Inter and Juventus really don't look like any of them will drop down sharply from the title competition this season. I can say this especially for Inter considering the big scores they have been getting. For taking three points it doesn't matter how you win of course. But it is more reassuring to see your team being able to get big wins. |

Dortmund finally put an end to their bad streak in the Bundesliga last week. But they will need to maintain this look for a while to continue recovering. Sancho's coming back to the team can make a really good impact on their scoring skills as well in the rest of the season. They are very close to top four even though they lost so many points recently.
If Dortmund continue getting positive results mostly I don't think they would have any problem on finishing the season in top four. It is really important for them to do this work in a season at worst. The board would have liked to see some title competition from them but it won't happen clearly.

Manchester City have De Bruyne back and soon Haaland will recover as well. Liverpool really need Salah as soon as possible from now on as things will get much more heated about the league title competition. Klopp must be hoping Egypt not to make it to the finale of AFCON. He stated on an interview that he wanted Salah back quickly as well. If Egypt reach the finale of the tournament then Salah will miss two big games which are going to be against Chelsea and Arsenal. These are both Premier League games so it would be a huge problem for Liverpool. In this case Manchester City can benefit from their weakness. Those names mentioned for Manchester City have a great combination from last season, they should have done crazy numbers yet again this season but Injury and lack of consistency have affected them both. Pep Guardiola would be so pleased to have them both back around for the rest of the season ahead. I was wondering if Mo Salah faked that Injury! Lol! I don't know though, I might be completely wrong, but I felt so since he hand no hard tackles and impact from the opposing players. Arsenal has good chance to win the game against Crystal Palace. It's a good thing whenever people underestimate you and you finally level up. I have also heard about the injury Salah picked up in the Ghana game. He had to leave the game after playing for 45 minutes. I don't know honestly whether it was fake or not. But Klopp would only hope to see him in good condition when he comes back to the team. Having a serious injury can turn the rest of the season into a nightmare for Liverpool. I have read some people saying that Liverpool can beat Chelsea without Salah as well. I mean of course it is possible due to Chelsea's having a bad season. However Chelsea have made a serious improvement in their recent results in the league. Moise Kean has a deal with Atletico Madrid.
If Correa will leave Madrid he will join the until the end of the season.
Moise Kean's market value is nearly the same as Angel Correa's. Kean is a much younger version of Correa as well. Both player can play as centre-forwards even though Correa's natural position is right wing. I think this could be a good investment by Atletico Madrid. Kean has played in 12 games with Juventus so far in the season but 0 goal. I think he just doesn't belong with them. Maybe Atletico Madrid can be a second chance for the young player to improve his finishing skills and become a much better player in the long term. |
