One of the most exciting matchups in this round seems to be Feyenoord - Roma. The first game is in Netherlands on February 15th. As Roma have changed their manager and brought Daniele De Rossi I really am curious about their journey from now on. Actually Mourinho didn't have any problem in such competitions. He just couldn't meet the expectations in the Serie A.
But still it is important for De Rossi to be competitive in the Europa League now. Because joining the Champions League must be Roma's main target to achieve. They should be aiming the title here and finishing the Serie A in top four area both.

Brighton are really unpredictable recently. They are lacking lots of important players due to various reasons these days. This has a really bad impact on their consistency level. One day they score 4 goals against Tottenham but the other day they can't score a single goal against West Ham.  Otherwise I would have really liked to place a bet on Brighton to win against Wolves honestly. I'm hardly keeping myself from their win right now too though but I won't. Because it seems really risky while Wolves have been in-form for three weeks on one hand. Playing a home game can still be misleading about Brighton here. Brighton @1.60 odd appears to be a risk worth taking; they have an excellent head-to-head record over Wolves in recent years, and while struggling in a few games this season, they still managed to achieve a very comfortable first leg win. Both clubs have their best players (Hee Chen and Mitoma) at the Asian Cup. Like I said Brighton are quite unpredictable and we have seen another example of it.  They couldn't even score a single goal therefore I'm happy for not placing a bet on their win. At least until they have Mitoma back I won't trust them in any of their Premier League game. Let's not say any, I can think of betting on them in case of playing against teams such as Sheffield Utd.  Brighton should have been able to score in the first half against Wolves as they played better. But in the second half Wolves could have even beaten them. We watched two different performances in two halves from both teams here. |

While Leverkusen are able to beat Leipzig away in a tough game Bayern Munich are even struggling against Werder Bremen. I wonder why there is some loss of concentration for Bayern Munich players at the moment. Maybe they have got over it already and we will see it against Union Berlin tonight. This is a crucial game for them as it is their absent game. In case they lose points today as well Leverkusen will be really advantageous. Even if Bayern Munich win the point gap will be still 4 points. There is no problem for me at this point as I'm supporting Leverkusen to become the champions this season. I hope they manage to have a bigger gap by beating Bayern Munich home soon too. |

Girona simply demolished Sevilla by scoring 5 goals. I was feeling Girona would win but this was much more than I felt. Sevilla really had no power left to defend their opponent and like I said before I don't know how they will manage to save themselves from this situation before relegating.
Can’t we just conclude that this team, Girona is so good and winning the La Liga this season shouldn’t bull by luck for them but a deserving one for them. Just look how they played and won Sevilla with a four goals difference, they are indeed ready for the fight of the title winner this season. How they play, organised themselves in the league is so exceptional and they don’t fail to give the best result in order to maintain their stand in the league. I must say this should be the best season Girona would have ever played for a long time now. Sevilla on the other hand keep producing poor results, they shouldn’t wait until when they have no power left and then relegate from the La Liga which won’t be nice to see it happen after winning the Europa League just last season. Sure we can. Girona are a team that can even beat teams like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid by scoring 4 goals against each one of them. I mean even this by itself is just an incredible work! When it comes to Girona's title chance it is quite high now. I still don't want to see it higher than Real Madrid though but Girona also deserves the title for sure. Girona need to beat Real Madrid first to get much closer to the title by the way. Their previous game was a big defeat for Girona by 3-0 home. At Santiago Bernabeu their job will be extra difficult. |

Those clubs who have been sending their interests toward him have been withdrawing it since brentford was not willing to decrease his price tag. Brentford demands 100 millions for him and is it a sense price for him? Im obsolutely disagree for those clubs like chelsea or even arsenal forced themselves to get him. He was not worth 100 millions. It was a scam. It will be so stupid if there will a club that buy him from brentford. Ivan tooney was fucking a big no.
100 million euros? Brentford are being very funny if they really demand such amount.  Or this is just to send a message to those teams interested that they don't want to let him go easily. However his contract is until June 30, 2025. Brentford had better sell him if he isn't keen on staying longer. Capable for what? he has been banned due to the his attitude and there will always be a chance for him to repeat it back again. The club needs to think for twice before try to sign him as a new striker.
I would like to call that as a gambling caused by he has been absent from playing in EPL very long. It's beyond my imagination to think that he will be playing even better than haaland. LMAO.
Capable of scoring? Yeah I'm also aware of his illegal betting action and getting a ban for that. But I don't think he would do this twice if he really cares about his future. He is an appealing player for bigger teams for now but if he continues to do this kind of things it would even cause his career to end. |

And Juventus have taken the lead! It was a quite comfortable game against Lecce as I expected. There is a significant level of improvement in finishing skills at this team these days. We saw that against Lecce as well after winning by 3-0. Vlahovic had a really solid day by scoring two goals by the way. He is seen as a valuable player for the team now and it might not be easy for other teams to sign him. I remember the time Juventus were keen on a probable deal for Vlahovic once. Now he is in a completely different situation. He is actually a capable striker. He just didn't have an ideal season the last time. He is quite likely to score many more goals this season. Vlahovic has been doing very well in the last matches. They are in form together with their young player Kenan Yıldız. They temporarily took the lead with a 3-0 victory against Lecce. I think this year is their year. They are fighting well for the championship this year and if they win the match against Inter, they will have achieved a great success after last year's suspension period. I must admit that Kenan Yıldız really has a good potential. He came from Bayern Munich U19 here. I don't even know how Bayern Munich let him go easily. Maybe they didn't see much light in his future. But it is in Kenan's hands to prove himself at Juventus. So far he has been able to do a good work in the chances he got. Kenan Yıldız chose the Turkish national team over Germany as well which is good news for Turkish people. Turkey would really make use of a talented young player like him in the long run. He can be useful even now as well but he needs some more experience. |

Expecting a battle between Brighton and Wolves tonight... This match is very important for both clubs... I can't say who is the favourite in this match, but the bookies think it's Brighton... Although it seems to me that Wolves are playing just as well at the moment... I think that the bet that both teams will score should work...

Days have been passing really tough for Leipzig recently. Because they couldn't get a win in their last three league games. A similar form is seen for Stuttgart at the same time. In a few days Stuttgart are going to host Leipzig and it is quite difficult to predict the result honestly. These are really close teams this season considering the amount of points collected and the goal statistics. For Stuttgart it is crucial to see Guirassy playing of course. Because without him they are much less powerful at scoring goals. However Guirassy is away on national duty now. Leipzig destroyed them home before so I'm feeling myself closer to their not losing here either honestly. |

The gap between Mbappe and his closest opponent in top scorers table is just huge now which is 10 goals. It is normal though considering that Mbappe scored nearly the half amount of PSG goals in the league so far. This is clearly showing how dependent PSG are on Mbappe this season. There are no Messi and no Neymar from now on to distribute the goal amount among them. The new transfers to the attacking line also can't score so many goals for now. But Mbappe is like Barcelona's Messi right now. PSG are also building their game over Mbappe otherwise they are having more problems on getting wins. I wonder what will happen when Mbappe leaves.  |

I don't think the injury Salah is suffering right now is a serious one. I hope to see him recovering in a short time however I assume he wouldn't return from AFCON early as long as Egypt aren't eliminated. No matter what he can still be back until their Europa League matchup is decided. In the end Liverpool finished their group as the leader so they won't play in the current round. But if Salah's injury is a really serious one unlike my expectation then a really tough time period is waiting for Liverpool in every tournament they are playing in. Because Salah is really the most important player in the attacking line at the moment. |

It was unbelievable the way Girona came back against Sevilla.  Sevilla must have been really regretful for scoring the goal to get ahead. Because in a very short time we watched an amazing answer by Dovbyk. I should say answers actually because he made a hat-trick in only six minutes. He is really on fire this season sharing the lead in top scorers with Bellingham. Girona simply demolished Sevilla by scoring 5 goals. Liverpool's big win over Bournemouth was very natural because the performance or quality of the Liverpool team was much better than Bournemouth's, so it was not surprising when Liverpool won easily.
Currently, the quality of Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are not much different so it is difficult for us to predict what will happen at the end of the season, but what is certain is that these three teams have the potential to compete fiercely in the race for the Premier League title this season.
I will not underestimate any of these three teams.
It was a really convincing win indeed. In Salah's absence people were wondering what Liverpool were going to do in the games without him. The Bournemouth game was an easy one on paper and Liverpool showed it to us by a solid gameplay. Nunez and Jota scored two goals each to destroy their opponent by 4-0. I'm quite happy for Nunez to score here. Because he really needed some push to improve his performance. This must have made a good impact on his self-confidence. While Salah is away Nunez has more responsibility to keep the scoring productivity at a good level. |

It looks like Ivan Toney isn't leaving Brentford just yet. Because some sources say that he has decided to stay at least until the end of the season. Chelsea and Arsenal have been the most interested teams in him recently and they will have to wait for a little more then. But will it be worth the wait? I think yeah, definitely. Because Toney is a very capable striker you know. He was a great scorer before getting the lasting punishment. Now he is back in action and he already scored a goal in his last game. He is definitely a good alternative for some bigger teams at the moment. |

West Ham United for the win today? No! They don't have lot of players, they'll definitely lose three points.
You know actually West Ham could have won this game. It was a really dramatic ending to it honestly. Because the equalizer by Sheffield Utd came in the last minute of the game. The goal minute was 90+13, unbelievable! West Ham were really lacking many players but the performance was still not that bad. Sheffield Utd are quite an interesting team though. They made huge difficulties for Aston Villa as well before and now we see a similar effort against West Ham. But Sheffield Utd are still the worst positioned team in the standings and will probably relegate. |

A really easy game is waiting for Real Madrid tomorrow. They are going to host the worst team in the league which are Almeria. However they had better not underestimate them at the same time. I don't believe Almeria can do it against them as well though but we shouldn't forget how they played against a Girona which have been fighting for the league title so far. Real Madrid should be able to dominate the game easily on paper and get a comfortable win by at least a gap of two goals. The thing I'm curious about Real Madrid the most is what they will do in the Champions League from now on actually. Because Courtois is out for the season so Kepa has a big responsibility. An easy game? They've just faced them greatest rivals within the last few days, first it was the triumph against Barcelona in the Super Cup finals as they went ahead to beat. Barcelona with four goals to one. Having a team like Almeria in this fixture whoare down below aslo makes it very difficult for Real Madrid to come out as winners of this particular game. I'm expecting a hard one today since they should be having enough fatigue and tired legs from the game against Atletico Madrid. At least Sevilla has seen some good improvements with how they play, I just double doubt they'll be getting a great performance when they face Girona who are gunning for the top this season. Hard game hard prediction. At least I'm not forgetting Girona has a good record against clubs below tenth position on the La Liga table. You were right about the difficulty of the game. Real Madrid really struggled quite much but like you said it must be due to fatigue. Otherwise there is just no way Almeria can be a competitive opponent for Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu. When Almeria got 2-0 ahead I was still astonished though. Because I believed it was too much anyway. But thankfully there was a much more different Real Madrid in the second half. After doing a really hard work there was the comeback to 3-2. Bellingham also played a big role in this comeback by a goal and an assist. He could have scored even two goals if it wasn't disallowed. The way Real Madrid won was so dramatic too as the winning goal came in the final moments. |

It was a really shocking result indeed. Who could have expected for this kind of a result? Even when Werder Bremen got ahead I was still comfortable about Bayern Munich to make a comeback. Because in the end they had Kane and many other productive players on the pitch to do so. However somehow Werder Bremen managed to keep the score at 1-0 until full time.
This is great news for Leverkusen of course because this result helped them increase the gap to seven points between them. Maybe Bayern Munich can still drop this gap by three points when they win their absent game. But it is still a serious advantage on the road going to the league title.

Will Still has been doing a really nice work with Reims so far in this season. I mean this is a serious improvement for now when it comes to their placement in the standings compared to the previous season. If you don't remember Reims finished the previous season at the 11th position. Now they are a fighter for a European tournament spot. Especially their 3-1 win over Monaco in an away game recently is the most impressive performance I have seen from them so far. Collecting as many points as possible against their direct opponents is really crucial for Reims to maintain their presence in this competition. |

Who will save Sevilla? Quique Sanchez Flores also couldn't make a good start for now. I don't want to be prejudiced about him early anyway but I'm really used to seeing Sevilla in this condition for a couple of years. Therefore it is quite hard to believe a manager they bring to make the team successful. I always say, Mendilibar was quite successful and he should have stayed longer. Today Girona will probably beat Sevilla home but like I said before I won't bet on Girona anyway after watching them against Almeria. But Girona had better win this one after getting a shocking loss. Real Madrid have a good advantage over them by a missing game to play. |

If I'm not wrong Manchester City can take the lead from Liverpool if they manage to win their missing game. Manchester City will probably win that game which is Brentford as well. But until then they have to keep the point gap like this at worst. Maybe they can get ahead earlier as well in Salah's absence for Liverpool but we will see. In short Liverpool must be fully aware of the big threat behind. In the meantime I'm curious about Arsenal too. Do you think they can rejoin the title competition? I really can't be sure of them because of the highly inconsistencies they have every season. |
