Hm, i see.
Why would it be hard to allow links that point to the page that is currently open?
edit: btw, i would like to leave noted that i'm not against ads; i just block everything 'cause of the prevalence of spying, or otherwise "active", ads. IMO ads should've never have stopped being things just to familiarize people with brands and products; if they weren't trying to snoop on what i see and where i go, i would be seeing way more ads than i currently do.

Recently i noticed when i get a new reply notification in my inbox, when i click the link, it just leads me to the top of the page with the new reply instead of scrolling to the first unread reply as it used to. Is something wrong on my side, or has something changed with the forum software?

i'm not sure if i could bring myself to buy a new car.. that shit depreciates just way too fast.
I think the point of the thread is if someone was holding your wallet hostage until you picked a car for yourself, to be paid out of your wallet, which car would you pick? (assuming the criminal was untouchable)

Why not just make a mobile friendly theme for the forum?
Yes, Like Amazon's site, when it detects a PC it uses a desktop version or when it detects a mobile phone, it uses the mobile site. Please just leave an option to visit the full website on mobile. Sites like Wikipedia, Gmail, many blogs etc, usually default to the system it detects, but got a link on the bottom of the page to switch to desktop/PC mode.

AFAIK, that D-Wave thing is not a general purpose quantum computer, it can only solve a small set of types of problems, and the cryptography used by Bitcoin isn't one of them.

How would folding a protein verify the validity of transactions?
how does prime number finding verify the validity of transactions? why does even finding a hash even verify validity? Sorry, i was very sleepy when i posted that. Ok, the proof-of-work generation isn't the exact point where validation occurs. But having the proof of work not depend on the block you're trying to generate is an issue: The hashes aren’t just to make life difficult for the miners. Because it takes so much computing power to find a hash that follows the rules, a would-be hacker trying to change the contents of a block would have to find a new hash that fits those rules again. Because he’s trying to rewrite history he not only has to find a new hash, he has to find it faster than the legitimate miners can, which would require a tremendous amount of computing power and confers very little benefit. The more miners there are, the higher the difficulty goes. The higher the difficulty goes, the harder it is to commit fraud on the Bitcoin network.

The terrorists didn't like the freedoms the people of the US had; so the government bowed down and systematically eroded those freedoms away. Who is the traitor again?

Okay so I've been trying to buy and sell at gox. When I set a limit order to lets say but at $795 for example, how come it dose not buy when the last price goes to it?
Anyone? Either they got lag, or other people were in line first and the price moved away from what you wanted before your turn came.

ChartBuddy, what's that white outline on your graphs?
I think someone said it was a representation of the old year... But we should be seeing a representation of the new year by now... Perhaps the botmaster hasn't woke up yet to update it?

On windows you can schedule programs to be started when idle and stopped when not idle, without needing any additional software. What is the point of this?

That's savage. It looks like an impact drill. I know they do some crazy self-mutilation rituals in some places but man, if that tool is what I think it is, (looks like a Makita actually) that's a jackhammer with a spinning drillbit on the end, and would not feel good pressed against your head. The internet continues to amaze. (*edit: yes, I am currently hodling.*) (*edit2: on second look, it looks photoshopped. I would love to see the original if anyone has.) Could this be it?
