1201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysian Plane 'Shot Down With 295 On Board' in UKRAINE on: July 17, 2014, 07:39:04 PM
If Putin die of natural causes, then the next president can be more EU-friendly... or not.
If Putin gets murdered by Ukrainians that would mean a war, and Ukraine can't stand a war with Russia. That would be suicide!
1202  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysian Plane 'Shot Down With 295 On Board' in UKRAINE on: July 17, 2014, 07:32:19 PM
But what would Ukraine get by killing Putin?! A full-scale war with Russia?! Doesn't make much sense...
1203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysian Plane 'Shot Down With 295 On Board' in UKRAINE on: July 17, 2014, 07:17:06 PM
Unless it was a close by jet fighter, people from ground can't see the plane colors in the radar.

Until those guys put down their dark aged religions, I don't give a rat about what's going on there! It's just annoying...

1206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysia Airlines MH17 Crash: Boeing 777 Crashed in Ukraine Near Russian Border on: July 17, 2014, 05:05:40 PM
This will be the heck of a mess to sort out!
First of my condolences to the victims and their families.  Sad

For economical and political consequences;
The first issue will be Schipol Airport, it will have a hard time to recover customers to Asia. Most of the passengers will prefer to be re-routed by South, which may cost NL a lot.
The RU-EU relations aren't already that good, if it comes to be shot by Russian SAMs it can be the last drop to put up the Iron Curtain back in place.

Just wonder who was the jackboot that sent that commercial plane down!...
1207  Economy / Scam Accusations / [PONZI SCAM] paymony.com / coinscotation.com on: May 22, 2014, 06:18:43 PM
A new ponzi scheme is roaming around and using Bitcoin as its image. This scam is bring to you by a website named paymony.com pretending to be some sort of private mining pool for a alt-coin they call e-mony. To make it sound more credible they even created a fake exchange rate site, coinscotation.com, the only place in the World where "e-mony" has any "value", yet no trade at all.
The software provided just shows an animated graphic, but it uses barely 5% of a 2.2Ghz Dual-Core CPU and about 5 Mb RAM, basically this software is doing some rpc calls to pretend to be doing something, while it's obvious it does nothing and specially it does not mine anything.
You might have it on 42 hours or just jump around 2 times per week, would be the same, there's nothing you are creating and your machine isn't doing any work at all, you are being paid out of the money scammed from the fresh meat.

This scam is most likely operated by the same guys behind a scam knew as TelexFree and mostly targets Brazilian users. Still YouTube shows their efforts towards other markets all over Latin America and Europe.

Do NOT let this thing attach itself to Bitcoin, it has nothing to do with it!
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: May 19, 2014, 09:36:44 AM
Indeed, Bitcoin is the ultimate weapon against looters. It requires you to study a bit and be informed to not get hacked, but it's the perfect money as you can even store it without any physical shred of it, like passphrase generated addresses.
1209  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Neteller \ scammers!!! read it will safe u money.. on: May 13, 2014, 07:46:17 PM
Forget and avoid Neteller, actually they don't protect the scammers, they are the scammers themselves.
They will remove the money from your account to their own pocket not to return to anyone. They have a huge load of 3rd World workers for their call centers who can't know rats about the company's operation and shady policies to get away with their customers' money.

1212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is College Worth it? So many graduates In Debt/Underemployed on: May 04, 2014, 06:10:58 PM
Madrassa? LOL. I don't even call that education. I more had the typical four-year curriculum in mind, forcing you to have at least some familiarity with such things as constructing a logical argument, the basics of physics, the arts, and so on--at least introductory, not necessarily cutting-edge stuff.

An education system can be managed on several ways. I would not want a "system of truth", a system where whatever bullshit they teach you you must assume as an unquestionable certified ultimate truth, but they do exist and are implemented pretty much anywhere, not just Madrassas, those are just too obvious as "a school for make a retard out of you".
In the end then "education" just means a system to teach you something, not that something is actually worthing it or even properly though.
1213  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is College Worth it? So many graduates In Debt/Underemployed on: May 04, 2014, 11:13:16 AM
Better educated people are better citizens; they are trained to think better; they are less vulnerable to superstition, fraud, and charlatanry, political or otherwise.

Sorry, here depends on the education system. You can't say someone with a Madrasa's degree is in anywhere resilient to superstition, actually he most likely dumber at school end then at its begin.
1214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is College Worth it? So many graduates In Debt/Underemployed on: May 03, 2014, 01:33:49 PM
We had a funny one around not that long ago, a local administration office was hiring an undertaker where the minimum scholarship requirement was a complete high school. Not yet a degree, but still... why in hell do you need 12 years of school to dig with a shovel?!
1215  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Chegou o CryptoEscudo [CESC] - cryptoescudo.org on: May 02, 2014, 11:10:22 AM
Eu nem vou discutir a ideia porque senão ainda morro a rir com essa de pagar a dívida pública.  Grin
Mas para nota, a norma ISO 4217 estabelece que a abreviatura do nome de uma moeda são 3 dígitos não 4.
1216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is College Worth it? So many graduates In Debt/Underemployed on: May 02, 2014, 11:02:08 AM
We must separate two views here, the European and American.
Americans need to take a loan to get to college, Europeans have it nearly free but paid by all with taxes.
Still can't figure which is worse, if put analphabet farmers paying others' college or slam dunk youth into deep debt.
