Nobody wants to get Palestinian refugees for the same reason EU doesn't want to take Romanian gypsies inside. Just look at the country that suffered more with this war, Lebanon. Methinks, you're confusing time epochs. When there were "the Slavs of the Kingdom of Kiev" (Kievan Rus'), there hadn't yet been the Grand Duchy of Moscow (the latter established in 1283). And vice versa, when there was the Grand Duchy of Moscow, there had no longer been Kievan Rus (the latter demolished in 1240 by Tatars)...  If my History books are right, the Grand Duchy of Moscow is where the Kievian Rus' Slavs regroup, that make you guys the very same people and that's still fratricide. On some other events, like the Ukrainian genocide, it was about Stalin, who didn't gave Russians an easy time too. That goes around an assassin up to kill anyone who was against him, regardless of origin. |

I strongly disagree with you on this subject. History is a kind of collective memory, a part of a hive mind of a society, even though the individual actors are long dead. Those who forget history are cursed to repeat it. Not understanding the history will also lead to wrong measure being taken now. Case in point, Novorossia, where the root of the current conflict is in 1917, when a part the Russian society was forcefully moved into a Galicia-influenced one. Those who understand the history, will see that the solution to the conflict was all along federalisation of Ukraine (which was asked for by the population of the region and brokered by Russia), something that was blatantly rejected by the Keivan coup government. So the bomb that was smouldering since 1917 was continuing to wait for a trigger to set it off. Such trigger became the Odessa massacre of the 2nd of May, when the Russian population of Novorossia saw what was also in store for them and had to defend themselves... As an aside, the roots to Russian distrust to Poland, for example are in the 1600, from the time of Polish intervention, trying to install a false-Drimtrij as Russian Czar. The exact setup can be a bit different than the one pointed at the video, Kiev knowing the rebels seized a BUK system could simply have everything arranged for the first minute those poorly educated on warfare rebels misfire that at some bystander commercial plane. |

Until this gets sorted out it's just theories, but if it comes for the pro-Russian separatists to be responsible it may mean the end of the Ukrainian war. Moscow won't be able to keep assist the separatists and on their own they won't be standing long.

I'm yet to understand why Hamas insists to poke a bear(Israel) with a short stick. They have no technology to match Israel, actually pretty few countries does, imagine some Allah's cavemen! The only outcome is Gaza and Palestine to shrink little by little at every confrontation. I'm not pro-Israeli or pro-Palestinian, I'm just tired of that crap! Maybe carpet A-bomb those places to make sure nobody can come close to those cursed "lands of the God of the Desert" in the next million years wasn't a bad idea. With their leader gone you really think there would be a war, especially if EU promises Russia money and land & Ukraine claims its an accident? The EU would supposedly be nice to Russia to compensate it, perhaps even giving Russia claim to some of Ukraine, in the meantime making Russia more dependent on Europe just as their original goal was for Ukraine. Give land to Russia?! That's like bring water to the ocean or sand to the desert! It's already the World's biggest country. Russia is a major World player, not some small feudal corner of Earth. Russia can't be played that way, and Russians are miles away from being a dumb people. Still, this Russia vs Europe is in a way senseless, Russia IS part of Europe too. |
