The issue: They aren't related!
Unlike most of religions, like Islam or Christianity, Jews don't take converts, at least easily, and up to not long ago they hardly married outside their diaspora.
Jews and Arabs were just "that" DNA related before 70 AD, within those nearly 2000 years "Palestinians" were invaded over and over and got waves of immigrants, the Arab population mixed up.

The the other issue: Bible is NOT History, many of those stories at the Bible/Torah were clearly made up or ripped of from some other civilization's legends. Making it hard to know at which point the Jews became actually a people. To not mention the archaeologists set their origin around Ur, in South Iraq.

Still there's an usual confusion with people about "origins". Origins can be somewhat traced if you are of noble origin, if you aren't you can expect to trace back your ancestors at best up to XV Century AD. But this lead to a normal confusion about the names of people and what they mean.
i.e. France got its name after Francs, but it doesn't mean the French population is Franc-descendant, the Franc nobles got lands at France and moved there, but the Franc people didn't pack up and went after nor the nobles replaced the French people, the Francs simply became kings of the local Gauls, obviously some Francs came along, but it's hard to tell how much % of Gaul or Franc a today's French person is, thus mostly will be more Gaul than Franc.
How does this translate to Palestine? We don't know how many migrated from Ur to Jerusalem or if by Jews we are talking about an invading people or a joint of some local tribes with the incoming ones. To which extent then are Palestinian Arabs related to Israeli Jews is way unknown. We just know that between 70 AD and late XIX/early XX Century they hardly had contact with each other.

Still, no doubt that a DNA census would be a good place to start with. But the outcome may make the conflict even worse if the results shows them as unrelated.

1143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is sex slavery morally wrong but conscription is OK? on: July 23, 2014, 12:09:44 PM

You guys are trying to make sense of "moral".

There is none.

Don't say this to normal people! 99% of them believes morals to be a fixed beacon set by G.O.D. himself between farts!
1144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is anyone following the Israel & Palestine Situation. on: July 23, 2014, 11:33:05 AM
Emotional people is not kin to the truth or solve anything.
As I see here 90%+ of emotional reactions, Israel x Palestine is far far away from rationality, the conflict itself is irrational, the supporters of both sides are emotional... so the conflict will not have an end soon. Will be just tears and shouts from both sides and we will loop this over and over until some catastrophe comes along to either side.

P.S. - Sorry for not be a "like" beggar. Like what I said or not, I don't really care.
1145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Family Considers Killing 10-Year-Old Daughter After Mullah Rapes Her In Mosque on: July 22, 2014, 09:19:00 PM
The fact something is subjective doesn't mean it is non-existent. Or that you can run over our society structure and laws.

No morals comes from God or any supernatural thing, "morals" come from philosophy, human experience and practical results and sometimes envy, greed or other hard feelings.
i.e A society of murders wouldn't live long as they would keep killing each other.

And still, under the subjective view, for a 21st century western it is equally wrong to kill a woman or a man, for a traditional Afghan it isn't, kill a woman is a somewhat "normal thing". If it was a "fixed view" then the Afghans would put this pedophile behind bars and threw away the key.

Edit:

And more! If morals were fixed then there would be no social evolution. Gays would still be persecuted and/or killed at US, for an instance, whereas whatever they do cause no harm to the society.

Not only about Muslims, but US cops seams to have shady tactics. Maybe because jails are private and need inmates for profit...
Just waste a few minutes of your life to see such a BS reality TV show as "Bait car".
1147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III... Is it about to Happen? on: July 22, 2014, 07:11:53 PM
We are already at war. The war is not fought with armies and tanks, but trade and economics, energy and resources, electronics and intelligence, politics and allies. Just look at Russia and China, they are aggressively expanding their boarders.

We will always be at that war, and that's a good thing. Brain wars are to be hailed!

Armies, tanks and bombs are the ones to be avoided.
1148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Family Considers Killing 10-Year-Old Daughter After Mullah Rapes Her In Mosque on: July 22, 2014, 06:23:39 PM
hbdchick talks about this on her blog.  The practice of honor killings seems evil and insane to Westerners.  It is evil, there really isn't any doubt.  However it isn't insane, and in fact is a logical course of action.

The Bedouin practiced what is called "father's brother's daughter marriage" (FBD) which means that you marry the daughter of your father's brother, your paternal first cousin.  While cousin marriage has been common throughout the world and throughout history, FBD is very rare with one exception: areas formerly part of the caliphate.

FBD, unlike cross-cousin marriage, tends to turn a family tree into a ladder.  The result is a much higher degree of genetic similarity among relatives.  The result is that a man will care for his nephews and nieces much more than normal.  If his daughter has scandalous behavior then it could compromise the ability of his relatives to get good marriages (remember that while most marriages are to closely related members of the family, there are still many that aren't).  So for the sake of family success the family has a massive incentive keep its honor intact.

Ok, so now you find that your daughter has been raped.  No one will dishonor his family by marrying a broken woman, and so the woman is unmarriageable.  Genetically, she is a dead end.  However, unlike a dead daughter, she can still harm the honor and thus the marriage prospects of her extended family.  She might get raped again.  She might become despondent and start sleeping around.  Genetically, she has no upside and plenty of downside.  Thus the muslim populations of these lands have evolved a response (honor killing) to handle this situation.

So while it is an evil practice, it is perfectly logical.  The only way to eliminate it would be to eliminate FBD marriage.  Eliminating all cousin marriage would speed the process, though it would probably still take a few centuries.

This is just "logical" if you got repeatedly hit in the head by a hammer or your parents are close relatives and therefore you have mental issues! O.o

What are "morals" and "corrupt morals"?
Are the "morals" from the "holy" books right? Do they set the bar? If so, why we feel so much of immorality and twisted morals on all of them? Fathers fucking daughters, killing sons and wives for nothing... the (un)holy books are an "everything goes" as long as it is "in the name of God".

"Morality" is a subjective path, the very same thing can be moral to one and immoral to another. But we can draw a few lines, and those would be to not hurt our kin and protect the weak ones, anything within this boundaries can be considered "moral", anything that violates it "immoral".

If we go by the unholy books we will get Hell on Earth, with people picking on other people for things that aren't in anyway of their concern nor harm or disturb them on anyway.

Work to make Earth a Paradise, because this is the only place you're sure to exist!

No it can't, have you ever debated againts someone obsessed with Religion?  No logic, no agrument will work, they are 100% blinded by their beliefs no matter the evidence given to them.

Isn't easy, for sure!
But if we recall it correctly, when Scorsese's "The Last Temptation of Christ" came out, back on late 80's we had even Christian terrorist attacks on a theater at Paris along with demonstrations across Europe. But now anybody would be ashamed to assume to ever take part of that madness 30 years ago.
Muslims will change too, their Stone Age religion is breaking apart, just not faster because the death threats over their heads if they leave that thing.

I usually hate your posts but that one was spot on.

Weird! Turns out I hate nobody or nobody's posts for disagreeing with me. I wasn't expecting anyone to agree with me on everything or vice-versa.

Eu também amava que me oferecessem logo uns 15BTC de cada vez só por abrir a página.

Em 2011 15 BTC eram 2 ou 3 visitas a um faucet, davam 5 ou 10 BTC de cada vez.

The number 7 curiously relates to H. P. Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. “Lucifer” was first published in 1887, and 1887 is the sum of 17 hundreds, 17 tens, and 17 units; H. P. B. lived at 17 Lansdowne Road, and 17 Avenue Road; “Lucifer” was published at 7 Duke Street; 7 volumes were completed at her death; Colonel Olcott first met her at 7 Beckman Street, and later at 71 Broadway, New York. Anna Kingsford was elected president first of the London T. S. Lodge on 7th January 1883; “Isis Unveiled” was published in 1877, and the Third volume of the “Secret Doctrine” was published in 1897, after her death.”

The numerology on this is beyond bizarre, especially after Christine Lagarde's recent statements on the magical power of number 7. A 777, flight 17, goes down on 7/17, of 2 (x7) 14, which is 17 years exactly after its first flight on 7.17.97. It is 133 (adds to 7) days since the other 777, 370, went down on 3/7 / 2x(7)14

Let me see:

7+2 = 9, so 9^-10 = 0.11111(...), now 0.11111 * 3 = 0.33333
Then √0.33333 = 0.57735(...)

What does this means?
A: Absolutely nothing, just some random math operations.

Taken on a different approach; the bitcoins I lost along the way. All of them were to online services, namely MtGox then MyBitcoin.com (same user/pwd combo) then MyBitcoin.com again (MBC went offline).
So whatever you do I would always recommend to stay away from online wallets and just leave at an exchange what you intend to exchange in a short term.

What are you trying to prove exactly? Those holes are sharpnel, expected to be inside the warhead of the missile.
Doesn't look a bit like machine gun holes, which draw lines of holes.

I don't think is it possible to take down a boeing like airplane using an machine gun?  Huh especially if it is flying higher than 5km

Even if it was possible, that method would give time for the pilot to cast a mayday over the radio. Whatever was the pilot had no time to do anything.

While the West was philosophising about peace and freedom, and conducting an occasional crusade or an invasion, Russia was busy deflecting said invasion against itself or its allies.

...just happened to keep expanding until the Pacific Ocean while "defending"... ah! The Romantic/Novel History of XVIII Century is still up around!...

Your knowledge of history still has room for improvement... Cool

It always have, and so do yours. Because History has this very interesting feature; while we can't change History, what we know about it keeps changing.
The XVIII Century is a must, it's the dawn of Nationalism and the line between historians and novel writers is thiner than a hair, as result many peoples are still using that super-positive self view / prejudice to others version.

Other creatures are already kicking our ass.  Define dominance.  In my book bacteria and insects win.  They are dominant.  We die without them.  They could car less if we disappear tomorrow.   There are many animals whose disappearance would be the end of us, while our disappearance would matter to no one but dogs and they would forget us in about 2 days.

Don't say that to "on the shelf" cat owners, they believe their cats will think a lot about them, even write poems or so...
