1041  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More From "The Religion Of Peace": Pakistan mob kills woman, girls...... on: August 03, 2014, 12:51:07 AM
Imagine my shock when I was reading the National Geographic which said men in that area of the world, who only make a $1000 dollars are year, are borrowing $10K to $50K for their weddings!

It was one of the most perplexed things when Muslims are typically portrayed as alpha woman haters but, in reality...  it's more that they're just as much victims of their society as the women can be.

That was shocking, how could they pay that amount. If I was a muslim I will convert to Christian or Atheist you can have limitless sex partner or having different child with different mother without the need to marry one.

Strange statement. Other than muslims nobody has that belief that atheists have abandoned child. In fact atheist societies tend to be rational, which means such behaviour may cost you a lot, way more than being married.

I would recommend you all to watch this movie (if you haven't)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2zhlDbMfDg

And note how differently the muslims there react as opposed to the Jews and Christians (who just outright made themselves silly).

It's like... Just watch it.

1 hour 40 min?! Takes to not have a life to watch it! And it's that runtime in 'America mode', which stands for think about people with Alzheimer and repeat the same thing every couple of minutes.
How about the same program at mecca? Oh!... he can't get there :p

Under Islam everybody is a victim...
But that one must about Hindus in India, those are the ones making the most expensive weddings... usually with a debt for life price tag attached.
1045  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the West gearing up to invade Russia once again? on: August 02, 2014, 09:35:16 AM
Moving there one step closer at a time. This one seems to be a move from Washington to justify the upcoming nuclear first-strike.

Ever wonder why your (Russian) quotes are 95% from RT (Russia Today) channel? You guys have no other or is it the new Pravda?
That one is what? The new attempt from a long side-lined Russia to try to make their citizens afraid with the "Evil America"?
1046  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism... on: August 02, 2014, 09:31:26 AM
Terrorism related to Arabs is just something recent, the media coverage on anything negative about the Arabs is way overly inflated maybe it is due 9/11 effect? ....
Started with the 1984 Olympics, and the aircraft hijackings started about the same time.

I think real terrorism is what is known as espionage today I think the modern version of terrorism is just an outcome of or the political espionage that has taken place forever.

The bomb one is the main excuse for that... all in all for your security (or not).

Charities already rake way over 5 billion.

The hardest piece to find about charity isn't money, money in charities is enough for most of World troubles to be long gone. But the key piece, the honest charity, is so rare that hardly we can find one. Most are just in charities for profit from it, not to do any change in the planet.
What we have a lot of now are corporate charities, places that corporations can offset their taxes by giving to. Just take a look at who the top 50 corporate givers are - http://foundationcenter.org/findfunders/topfunders/top50giving.html. I would imagine most churches use their money for direct aid to the poor not sure how the corporate money gets used.

Idk about churches, but the Vatican is very well decorated. We also have those sects all of them with their ministers becoming extremely rich...

But here you go, about how charity money is flushed down the drain, and this is just USA data:

Only 20% are fanatics.

Only 20% take their religion seriously.

20% are fanatic enough to think human bombs are justified, but 63% are fanatic enough to think anyone leaving Islam should be killed.
So I've to say 63% of them, and not 20%, take their religion seriously.

1051  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the West gearing up to invade Russia once again? on: August 01, 2014, 10:14:48 AM
Sorry, but the invention of that sort of terrorism, the only kind that makes some sense, was Rashid ad-Din Sinan.
He had the idea that it was worthless to kill armies if all you need to end a war is to kill its leader. His story is used as motto to the first Assassin's Creed game.
1052  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the West gearing up to invade Russia once again? on: August 01, 2014, 09:43:42 AM
Global chess game being played by US and Russia.

It is very clear that US is using European countries to do its containment strategy against Russia. And Russia is subsidizing China energy price to attack US economically.

If the game keep going, it will eventually turn into a full blown warfare with US losing badly because of long logistic line.

Nobody wants a war with Russia, not even Russia itself.
Conquer Russia for what end? It doesn't have anything to offer to the conquerer and you would have to deal with the Russian people, most likely to turn into terrorists, afterwards.
The allies of Russia, in open warfare, are good for nothing. Persians can be a bone hard to chew, but the Chinese in warfare aren't that bright, they are more kin to intellectual development than fighting (even if kung-fu is good for movies and as exercise).

Economic wars will happen all the way, but that's even interesting to watch. A life without a struggle for something is really dull! But no need or wish for open warfare.
1053  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism... on: August 01, 2014, 09:23:15 AM
Terrorism isn't an Arab exclusive, and Sayyd didn't invented it. You can read Trostky's articles praising terrorism as well, a communist so hardcore that communists killed him. And we are talking about retards from early/mid XX Century, being Sayyd one terrorist of decolonization.

Yeah, with terrorism you go with rage against a wall... the question is, war is all about strategy. What's the strategy behind it? What's there to wage with that? What achievement? The "I want to appear on TV", even if post mortem, wish?
1054  Other / Politics & Society / Terrorism... on: August 01, 2014, 01:33:19 AM
Usually when speaking of Arabs these days one word pops up right away: Terrorism.

Terrorism is probably the worse way of fighting ever. It had some limited effect on the past, around-WW2 mostly, but it's a senseless way to get anything at all and a great way to loose support. In fact if you are a terrorist you can get into a general knowledge TV show against an amoeba and a jellyfish and come out 3rd or 4th if one of the others could have a brain.

From the past terrorists, what did they got? From the decolonization something, but other than that simply a handful of nothing but havoc to themselves.
Did IRA got an independent Northern Ireland? Heck no! Even Catholic Northern Irish got fed up with violence and stop supporting them.
Did ETA got an independent Basque? No... they got well on cast the wrath of the Spanish and Basque people on themselves by killing innocent bystanders.
Did the Chechen terrorists got anything? Again no, their attack on the Ossetian school gave Russia the leverage and support to chase them up to almost the last man.
UÇK terrorists managed to lure NATO into attack Serbia... probably not that good idea and ISIS almost got support from it again against Syria, but come on, 2 times the same mistake is a bit too much!
What did Hamas achieved? Yeah... zip! At each attack Palestine shrinks a bit more.

I know some may say that's the way of the weak to attack the strong. But for that there's guerrilla warfare, which doesn't include to bomb people shopping at a market or going to work by bus or train or throw rockets at a residential area.

But why the hell some insist in this method?! The only ones achieving something are governments that want to cut short their people's freedom, tap everything and so on. Are they hiring those braindead idiots? Or is it possible we can in fact have people dumb enough to think they can get somewhere with it, other then make others and their own life miserable?
1055  Other / Politics & Society / Re: S.E. Cupp: It’s a myth that conservatism is hostile to atheism on: July 31, 2014, 07:55:59 PM
True, except when it is pursued with religious fervor, has the trappings and characteristics of religion, and when the Non-Deity is piously worshipped.

Nobody worships the non-Deity. But when some idiots come up with a "praise our imaginary friend or die" mood, we have to defend ourselves.
The fact that we are atheists doesn't mean we can't defend ourselves because we've no imaginary friend to justify it!

OMFG! Just when you think you'd seen everything...
What is it there to put in a museum about a fairy tale?!
Why not a museum about the bigfoot, other with unicorns and a special exhibit about the bogeyman?

You most certainly can have an Atheist organization.

It's just Non-Prophet.

As you can have a Bitcoin organization, a Litecoin organization, a housewives who loves Tupperware organization... but there is no "Central Book" or "Common doctrine" to Atheism, so those are just isolated groups representing nothing but themselves.
1058  Other / Politics & Society / Re: S.E. Cupp: It’s a myth that conservatism is hostile to atheism on: July 31, 2014, 03:57:18 PM
Ever been to a meeting of atheists?  In large part they are pro Clinton, pro Obama, pro socialist anything, pro Marxist, etc.  Rather ridiculous and boring actually.

Certainly doesn't mean one is equal to the other.

You got it wrong, you didn't went to an Atheist meeting, you went to a Communist meeting, who happens to be also atheists.
You can't have atheist meetings, because there's no mass, no church, no associations, no nothing, Just plain people going around their business and not caring about worshiping any imaginary friend.

1060  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Argentina to default..?! on: July 31, 2014, 01:39:42 PM
It will push Gold/Silver up too, the collapse is beginning now that a fairly sizeable country is defaulting, it's not like Argentina is a tiny island in the middle of nowhere or anything.
Yes. I suspect it won't be the only country that default in the coming months.

Exactly. The fall of a major country like Argentina is the beginning of the fall for the whole system because everything is connected.
Let's watch while accumulating cryptos.

Sorry to disappoint you, but this isn't the first time Argentina defaults and the system is still around...
