I am done now with my negative posts about NeuCoin I hope anyway. There was only one where I just wanted to make some points. As I said, I bought in to NeuCoin. I hope it actually gets released soon and all goes well. Personally I don't see a reason to keep bashing it although that is common here lol. So many people have made valid points. Some are pretty lame and just opinion. jonald_fyookball, you have brought up a lot of excellent points and have backup to your points....although that last one...A peercoin community member??? That one might be reaching.
What is the purpose of bashing it more?? It may be fun??? Ok...I bitched about it myself but I don't want to lose my butt on this (well I didn't invest a whole lot anyway). Is the purpose to get them to change what their plans are??? I seriously doubt much of that is going to happen. The "community" is not growing and strong in my opinion. I just want the stupid coin to launch if it is going to and grow some balls and come in here and SET a launch date. I became a moderator as of April tenth. It was publicly announced. If you take a look at the wiki it names the members of the team and the various advisers. http://www.neucoin.org/en/wiki/#teamWell, this fits. A year ago a newbie, then involved in TAK (which was a scam), and now they took the best they could find as a moderator. Investors were warned in the T+C of presale they will be given any shitkoin, as nokoin, before any refund is facilitated.
Hard to see a refund given when the Torrgeek's actually still WANT their nokoin.
Only investors carry any weight in this matter.

As far as I know, Neucoin's plans involve developing partnerships with other existing websites. Jango and RadioAirplay are more to be used as Proof of Concept during the initial stages of the coin. They plan to use Jando and RadioAirplay more to test and optimize and iron our any initial bumps.
I think Neucoin is a fantastic experiment. Whether it succeeds or not is something else. Also, it is not very impractical to aim for 1 million users in 1 year. It is very possible for a new coin (whether neucoin can do this obviously remains to be seen) to gain that sort of a user base in mere weeks if the coolness and social factor really takes off. In these days of intense social engagement, 1 million users is mere pittance.

I read your post and felt great, most of the Alt coins are not clear cuts and always very complicated even after their launch and in case of NEUCOIN team, I think they have done a great Job to lets people know what exactly NEUCOIN is, and I just love their way of marketing and transparency, I think all those talking against NEUCOIN doing Scam has been already scam by one or the other coins - so was I. I did not lose hope and I know Digital currencies are here to stay as long as the internet lives .. only few will last as long as Internet and my bet is on NEUCOIN as one of them.

I don't know much about it, only that if you take their survey they say they'll give you 'up to' a thousand coins on launch day (if you answer questions in enough detail) I took the survey, I'm not going to say no to a 1000 free coins that I can offload on another day. Personally I found their explanation page a touch crappy in the way they tried to put down other coins such as Doge and Bitcoin. They are trying to position themselves kind of like a 'use it to reward posts on Facebook' and/or game rewards. They don't seem to really know which way they are going if you ask me. They want to be trendy AND corporate, which just isn't going to happen. Their branding looks very 'business suit', but their 'ethos/goal?' is to be super meme trendy. You'll kind of get this impression by their survey questions. Buy hey... it's a 1,000 free coins.  Survey rewards are awarded "1 month" after launch.
