I havnt had time to re-assess TX expense yet, as all my calcs (since April 22) have been based on misinformation.
Just wondering, rizzlarolla... if you don't like Neucoin so much, why are you putting so much work into analyzing it (ie. re-assessing TX expenses)? Does this mean you see some glimmer of hope for it?... or maybe you just like analyzing things, as a hobby. I wont re-assess TX fees, I was simply trying to make the point that even on the RARE occasion when a clear answer is given by nocoin, it was wrong and could not be relied upon. I see NO glimmer of hope for nocoin. I did, until I got involved and saw what I am seeing. Scammyness, amateurism, Inaction, fantasy, BS. Analysis is not my hobby. I try to be exact because, for me, it is the only way to counter the BS evasive non answers from the nou team. As I know the nou forum well, I figured I was as well informed as anyone could be on day to day dealings If there WAS any tech talk, others may be better positioned. |

The current plan is for the tx fee coins to be destroyed. Though I'm not sure that is concrete. Then why increase them, AT ALL?? And don't tell me that it's to prevent TX spamming.
And You think a hundredth of a cent is to high? 100 tx will cost 1 cent. Again, why did you sell something that isn't supposed to increase in price (value should come first tho) to "investors"? Ah, angels got bargain price. And you know, 1 cent is not exactly peanuts in, say Kenya or Ghana, and a hundred 1 cent transfers would still get a 1% fee. You may think that this example is going over the top, but you get the drift.
I did not insult anyone I'm simply naturally blunt and at times people find that insulting. I'm cool with that.

It's not just because of Dan Kaufmans reputation and history, or Jackson Palmers involvement, or Alex Norstrum leaving, or other team members.It's not just the $2.25m cash claim, the premine, the lack of details on foundations and who is employed and paid, it's not the just the lack of details on the voting system or when users votes might outweigh the foundations.
It's not just the presale, the Seychelles, the T+C of btc refund, the pressure sell. It's not just there is no nou yet, no code, no wallet, no mynocoin.com, no getnocoin.com. Its not just that Jackson Palmer is still listed on nocoinorg/blog. It's not just the advertizing on Graza sites, the marketing speak, the zombie forum users. It's not just the bannings, the deleted posts or the deceit.
It's not just the "off the shelf" forum software problems, the survey response email problems, the referral scheme problems, the distribution to other crypto holder problems. It's not just the lack of foresight at presale, the lack of customer care. It's not just the weeks it took to correct TX fees post, the FAQ being abandoned, finally reborn a clone, the mods/team still unclear or the minor mod.
It's not even just because the Tippy vote was so badly run that some people (innocently) thought that was a scam!
It's not because of any single thing, but so many things?
Please tell me what you like about noucoin so I may understand a little better, If you would like too.

I have just been posting about "unimportant" TX fees. If the information posted by dartious (about TX fees on nou forum) is correct, then it has taken about 6 weeks to get that answer. So basic, almost trivial, takes 6 weeks.
The white paper was eye catching at first, hence my interest, but is very thin under scrutiny.
Yes, if blind faith in the team not ripping you off, because "they are rich so dont need your money" is all you need to jump in on this, ok.
Nothing of relevance has happened since the white paper, IMO.
There is much "marketing speak" such as how much CASH has been invested in nou through angel investors ect. It portrays that $2.25m CASH has been invested, when it seems to me it is only $1.25m plus $1m "work done", which is repaid to the "team" in nou at launch. (200m nou) So not invested at all. (the other $1.25 is only on trust, as I said, "funny handshakes")
Also there seems no mention on nou forum that the founders stay on for three years, at 100m nou per yr as advisers, although honestly, there are almost no "serious" questions, or answers on nou forum are there?
Some members here tried, respectfully it seems to me, to discuss nou in depth, but were more or less dismissed as trolls.
Transparency is more "marketing speak". I have "studied" nou for a few months now, and still know nothing because in truth, nor do the "team".
IF they do know any details they aint telling us. Any questions on nou forum are either met with silence, misinformation, ramblings or such.
The team often respond with "I get back to you" or "heads up"-nothing ever comes of it.

Thank you so much for helping me understand this side of things. It's really hard for me to fully grasp what people are concerned about when emotions run high in their responses (they result in namecalling or snarky remarks) , or arguments happen on forums that I can't keep track of. Indeed I fully want NeuCoin to be transparent and I understand there will be mistakes made along the way, so I think questions to these tough topics are great. I work in the restaurant industry, and there will always be a pissed off customer, but it's only fair that those who have had great experiences there should also have a voice. My experience with NeuCoin and the community have been great so far. I must admit, there were some hiccups with the presale that I was concerned with, but all those concerns were addressed for me. After all the talks about the founders, presale/premine, though, I still want to stay and make the launch a success.  M3ndi3, Please dont think I fully understand either. I feel that is all part of the stratergy? Everyone is left feeling inadequately informed to say much of importance? Confusion. I saw your concerns on nou forum. They were not answered for me. nou does have all the traits of a ponzi. Offer high % returns to early investors. Buy early as the price rises daily. Tell your friends to earn rewards ect, but this can be interpreted many ways. Ask James for that interpretation. (as you kinda have) When the team cannot get the email to work, on any survey, the presale was delayed because of minor issues, there is no evidence of any working code, wallet ect...I do wonder? As I said previously, nou may well not live up to white paper ambitions. You are a dev. Shouldn't you be more informed in nou? Isnt your reputation somewhat at stake? |

Hey everyone, I haven't posted in BitcoinTalk forum yet, but I feel like I need to bring up some of my concerns which I don't think have been addressed yet. Why do we care so much that Dan had a past in advertising and had a program that put "spyware" in people's computers? I read everything about him and what you call "shady" but I honestly don't understand what the big problem is. We are living in the world of facebook and google and social media, that are constantly tracking what we do, what we say, what we post, etc at all times right? Why is it any surprise that this was happening in the past and that someone made money on it? Every single business wants data on its users, and will pay good money for it. Every website has an analytics code that tracks what you are viewing, and has targeting codes that will retarget ads based on what site you were in. You don't need to download anything anymore to be "watched"... online/offline you will be watched anyways. So can we all just move on to the next topic, because your points about Dan creating software to spy on you, and he will do it for NeuCoin blah bah isn't really scaring anyone. People are sharing their private lives on social media on their own free will. They know what happened with the NSA and they accept it. If that makes you angry, that's a bigger issue than NeuCoin and Dan. Make a campaign to end all spying on media. Have people sign petitions that they don't want to be tracked etc. But please, stop this BS with trying to say NeuCoin is some awful terrible thing because one of it's founders had spyware in one of his programs. Seriously WHO CARES??? ::end rant::

Sandrines "wrong address wallet" starts with 1000btc less than 24h before presale.
The 1000btc are "spent" over the next few days of the presale. (Im actually not quite to the end yet) Im guessing about 1000 small transactions.
I have identified 29 separate purchases from this wallet, spread over the 3 days of presale. (just the easy to find ones)
The address posted on neu forum by Sandrine is the only purchase (of the 29 found) that did not get moved to mrNuks that night as scheduled. (moved 2 days later to MrNuks)
Mostly small purchases of varying amounts. some whole coin purchases, some fractional. (for example, 4btc or 1.21460895btc)

No mention why she may have posted this address. the 0.0144 ends up in 3mrNuks address. Unfortunately Cellophanebirdcalls cannot screenshot but does describe some of what he see's. Why wouldn't Sandrine just say oops thats one of our customers address? Why does 0.0144 (out of 666 btc wallet?) go to neucoin. Min purchase was 0.1 btc? Why Sandrine post screenshot of 0.0144, then say "the number in itself is interesting" (666 btc) as a reason for her actions? just does not seem right. would just like to know. I will make it clearer on the forum tomorrow. For now the unofficial faq is pretty clear now.
Most of Gurkins posts were left untouched. His posts that were deemed inappropriate/ harmful to the forum atmosphere were deleted. Where as the previous person to get banned (Gekko) had all of his posts deleted. So he was pointing out that difference. Inappropriate posts are going to be deleted, I wouldn't consider Mark statement to be a lie. When a customer comes in making tons of short tempered demands most people would have no problem with said customers being thrown out because said customers aren't respectful. In fact they tend to prefer it, that way things aren't being slowed down unnecessarily and the community that likes the service can continue it's natural flow.

NEWSFLASH - ban in progress Kim 3h For those following this: now Mark has informed me that my answers were simply not found! Simply ludicrous. soooo, after complaining about not receiving what was promised in exchange for filling a lengthy survey, I have have been threatened with ban and unceremoniously told that the reason was likely that I have "filed junk". You seemed to be complaining about the number/percentage of users so I was giving a logical explanation as to why it's low.
That page is just where you can see the mods. We're considering adding more than just the currently new additions so haven't announced it on the thread yet.
All of those threads link to the wiki. There are the ten neucoin team which in the thread "who are the admins" The usernames on the forum are given. In the unofficial faq I point out the active forum admins and mods. Is English your second language? In which case I apologize. I suppose I didn't take that possibility into account. I will see about making it a bit clearer on the forum.

Dartious and neucoin, Firstly, please answer questions in my previous posts. Its not cool to correct my post with your own inaccurate post, then dont come check response for days. neucoin FUD. Now, while I await your response, how "active" are "users" on neu forum? Lets take a look, When i posted my "just for fun" here, 21st May, gurkin was 14th on this years most likes list, NomadBR was 17th. NOW gurkin is still 14th, NomadBR has moved UP to 15th! WTF? http://forum.neucoin.org/users?period=yearlyI cant compare weekly likes, as these bans were (very nearly) 2 weeks ago! So I will look at the last month. (I know, its not very fair as NomadBR and gurkin have been banned for almost half that time.) gurkin comes in 8th place! (ahead of him are 5 mods/team and 2 "users") NomadBR makes it into the top 20! http://forum.neucoin.org/users?period=monthlyI dont think gurkin or NomadBR were EVER any higher up the list than that. There are NO real new users coming through the neu forum to dislodge their standings. Now, lets check badge holders, as this helps get a better overall picture. http://forum.neucoin.org/badgesOut of 771 total "users" only 304 have achieved "basic" level. The other 467 "users" are, in general, zombie accounts, as seen in my user lists. (it is sooo easy to achieve basic level, anyone who is a tiny weeny tinsy little bit interested will achieve this) Of the 304 "users" to achieve "basic or better" many of those are themselves inactive now. (I cant list them all, there are to many. you will have to do your own confirmation. just click on the "user" avatars. you will soon see how inactive most are. http://forum.neucoin.org/badges/1/basic-user) Also discard the dozen mods/team, and discard a dozen exiles, banned but still classed as "users". My "honest" best guess as to how many "active" users out of 771? 30-40, TOTAL AT BEST, and disappearing fast. (thats 5% of listed users) "Active users" BS Im just trying to increase transparency. There is no more interest at neu forum Since the cull. (at least 3 others have been banned since) What a PR disaster that was. Now they invent "users". BTW, Has Kourosh had enough? Has he heeded Gekkos warning of prison? Is he the latest team member to quit? He has not posted in over a week. (although TBF, there is nearly nobody to post to? mods/team outnumber "active" users already on a daily basis) P.S apologies to forum members here for my over activity on these matters (if anyone is left here lol).
