101  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative Trust on: April 18, 2018, 06:09:49 AM
After cheating bounty with alt account, this guy is attempting to sell accounts.
He's probably wanted to get rid the rest of his alts that we haven't caught on yet Roll Eyes
I'll keep an eye on few bounties campaign to see if I can find his Alts.

maybe in the future founder Bitcointalk will soon discuss this.
Sadly the founder hasn't been online since 2010  Undecided

but we have to accept the reality, we are given a red trust by a trusted person and greatly contribute to the Forum, although his heart is hard like a rock.
Trust me, those rocks were hard after taking part in the community for years.
Sometimes it takes some beating to show some love Smiley
102  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Work for Tokens! Team Members Needed! on: April 17, 2018, 07:06:54 PM
Isn't this a little bit early to find and start a bounty/signature campaign?
Most ICO lasted around 3 months, this is usually when bounty/signature participants received their tokens.
Anyway, I'd recommend Lauda or Yahoo for running Signature Campaign.
I'm not sure whether Lauda still want to manage a campaign, but Yahoo are always open and both of them are highly professional Smiley

P.S. there are many mistakes and errors on your website, might want to fix that first.
103  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning Network ideal for in-game currency in MMO games? on: April 17, 2018, 06:53:33 PM
LN transactions are incredibly fast, from what I've seen it takes under one minute to get your transaction to be confirmed.
If this were implemented on MMO, the currency should arrive by the time the player closes their payment window.

2. The real question is finding developer who wants to implement LN on their online games and find out which online game community who would use Bitcoin in LN layer.
I doubt any AAA company would implement this on their games, unless its part of the game's theme (Watch Dog 3?)
It would take an indie developer whose willing to experiment with LN and implement it all-together.

3. IMO, I think LN isn't ready since there aren't any friendly LN wallet which can help user on unexpected cases such as can't find route and too low balance/fee where most user can't understand.
LN itself are still new, it is understandable that no friendly wallet exists, but as the technology matured, there will be LN Wallet popping out.
It just takes time.
104  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do Cointelegraph and Coindesk cost for press release or articles? on: April 17, 2018, 06:33:57 PM
Honestly, 80k for 6 coverages are cheap when you see the traffic that Cointelegraph has.
with around 20 Mils views a month a press release could get a massive coverage that way.
A TV commercial for 30 seconds aired during busy hours can cost you around 300k, while press release on the internet can be read as long as that website exists.
You might want to try to contact Coindesk and ask for their quotation, Coindesk has higher traffic and rank than Cointelegraph, expect higher cost compared to Cointelegraph Wink
105  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to build a cryptocurreny exchange? on: April 17, 2018, 06:20:44 PM
I just read the post and I have a team of experts with building Crypto Exchanges
and your proof of work is?
Don't get me wrong, there's just too many newbies offering services claiming to be an expert, but in reality has zero experience before.

Developing of cryptocurrencies exchange is not really easy as you think, You need large funds to run it, You must hire a good programmer that has knowledgeable in scripting and it should be trustworthy.Better search for an open forum that related to legalities of the exchanger that you want to build up.
I don't think there's a forum exist for that...

Has anybody considered using a white label software at all?  Huh Huh

Any experience shared would be hugely appreciated!  Smiley Smiley

Cheers
Find any major exchange and see whether they using a bought software or custom made software, there's your answer Wink
Using a bought software for exchange is never safe, not only it costs a ton for the license, there might be a bug found on Exchange A that can be used on Exchange B.
All in all, it's just too risky.
106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcointalkaccounts.com - scam on: April 16, 2018, 07:58:56 PM
Exactly my point. Now, my next question is: why in the world the postings are not deleted from the threads, not flagged, not banned, etc etc..? I'm fairly new to both crypto community and to this particular forum, but it does feel like double standards. In one hand - I've seen maybe naive questions viciously and almost immediately deleted, while posts from jerks like bitcointalkaccounts.com somehow avoiding the scrutiny from moderators...  Shocked
Scams are not moderated by the forum, users need to be cautious when dealing with other users, that's why trust ratings are created.
Only users that has posted against the rules will be reported to the moderators

107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Windows Phone App for Bitcoin? Is there? on: April 16, 2018, 06:36:53 PM
If you're trying to have a bitcoin wallet there are many wallets out there. Want a review about every kind of wallets. Please refer to this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3092808.0 you can choose what wallets maybe best for you. Very informative thread about bitcoin wallets or any other altcoins wallet.
If you read closely on his post and this topic you will find that :
1. He needs Windows Phone Wallet, and your link does not have any Windows Phone Wallet in it.
2. His questions has been answered multiple times above.
3. You just bumped old topic, OP most likely isn't active anymore.
108  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Major indian exchange gets hacked, 438 bitcoins stolen COINSECURE on: April 16, 2018, 05:59:51 PM
Latest search of Coinsecure's so called hacked BTC.
I'm sure those coins were mixed by a mixer service, tracking it won't lead to anywhere  Embarrassed

Exactly. Its good to see Coinsecure taking this on them to assure a refund unlike other hacks for example 'Shitgrail' where the main guy from the exchange started blaming the developers and problem with nodes.

And to the people demanding a full refund in BTC, I am sorry for your loss. But be happy you are getting at least your money back.
Props to their decision to refund partially their customer's BTC, but I'll believe it when I see it, for now those are just promises to do a refund Smiley.
Question is, if they decided to continue operating will people keep using their exchange or move to another one?
109  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative Trust on: April 16, 2018, 09:30:51 AM
Why do you put a negative trust on me when I am just doing bounty? I am not cheating though.
What part of your negative trust that you don't understand?
It literally says "   Accounts Connected: fearthebeard, seanavery11.
Abusing bounties with alts."
Alts created solely for Sig Campaigns/Bounty Farming are discouraged by the community, you are untrusted by the community for that and -neg will stay.

theymos need to know this, you are doing inappropriate things.
Trust System are not moderated, Theymos can't remove your trust even if he wanted too.
Besides, I'm sure Theymos doesn't have the time to deal with your problem anyway Roll Eyes
110  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to build a cryptocurreny exchange? on: April 16, 2018, 09:18:19 AM
Do you have any experience running business before?
While creating an exchange will cost you to hire a developers to maintain and upgrade the system when necessary, you will also need someone to run it from business side.
Singapore Central Bank's stance on Bitcoin are not favorable, this might be hard to have a legal exchange on Singapore.
https://www.coindesk.com/singapores-central-bank-urges-extreme-caution-on-bitcoin-investments/
You might want to hire a lawyer first and consult before developing the exchange, no green sign from Singapore's Government = No exchange
Unless you want to run illegal exchange and risk to be detained by the police that is.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Storing 5 years in a wallet? on: April 15, 2018, 05:42:14 PM
Hello,
I bought some bitcoin on Cobinhood. Can I send them now to the desktop wallet of bitcoin.org, and leave it there for 5 years or longer, without caring about it in this timeframe
For sure, but you will need to get out your coins from Cobinhood first Smiley
To ensure your coin security, I'd be best to keep your coins in a wallet where you control your private key.
Since you are planning for a long term holding I suggest to take either Paper based wallet or Hardware wallet, your private key are now in your hands.

What happens when Litghting-Network or a fork is coming, do we have to update something?
Lightning Network are a soft fork, when a soft fork happens you only need to udpate your wallet in order to use those new features.
112  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you encountered BTC Camp?Is it a SCAM? on: April 15, 2018, 04:05:08 PM
75k Satoshi equals to around 6 dollars right now, that is confirmed scams.
Faucets usualls only gives few cents at best, this faucets will either will not pay you out or putting a malware ads to inject your PC.
I'm running Ad-blocker so I can't confirm whether the ads has potential malware or not.

Never Empty
Our faucet never runs out! We have a very larger amount of Bitcoin so you can claim as many times as posible.
Imagine the Coins that they have in their reserve if every people could claim 6 dollars every 10 minutes Tongue
113  Economy / Reputation / Re: My negative trust still sticking on: April 15, 2018, 08:02:42 AM
I dont believe what you are saying about Lauda
We'll see Smiley

i am very sorry i just thought i'd help you out by promoting you.
By stealing other's people work by claiming it as yours?
That is shady enough for me to left -neg
P.S. I know you are expecting a postivie trust by "creating" an avatar for him, I've dealt with your kind before Smiley

My reply in a nutshell: OP is a whining shitposter.
He's just going to bump the topic again, trust me Tongue
114  Economy / Lending / Re: Loans on: April 15, 2018, 07:14:19 AM
Personal loan is only advisable by members who've known each other, or with a high ranking profile who've been active here and exchanges idea before, but if the request or offer is from newbies then it's a naturally a no.
Newbie loans are accepted as long as they have valid collateral, same thing with high ranking accounts.
Unless the account has trust in it or good track record, no way there is a loan to be made.
Then again, most loan request made by Newbies accounts here are without collateral (has there ever been a loan made to Newbies?)
115  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of lightning network [ wallets & services] on: April 13, 2018, 05:46:47 PM
Just a suggestion, I'd be better if you create the table just like Bitcointalk Signature Campaign Overview topic.
These blocks doesn't scale quite nicely on my screen Sad
Blockstream store has accepted Bitcoin Lightning Network as its payment options, although from what I can see they are only selling hoodies and T-shirts
https://store.blockstream.com/
116  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty hunter using my Bitcointalk username and profile link on: April 13, 2018, 09:34:00 AM
I'll just message needmoney to check since he is managing the campaigns. Given the fact that he uses different telegram usernames, same address, (plus used my Bitcointalk username and profile link) - it is considered as cheating, right?
It is, it can be considered as stealing other identities.
Although I wonder why he has the nerve to use other user's name when it can easily be spotted by the campaign manager.
Campaign manager must have monitor the spreadsheet after all Smiley
Given how identical the ETH address, that dude are seriously trying to use your username for profit from nothing.
117  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which online wallet for bitcoin is safer? on: April 13, 2018, 08:17:01 AM
I think blockchain.info wallet is the best. I am not facing any problems in blockchain because its security is very strong. Even i also using coinbase wallet. You can buy/sell BTC, ETH and LTC without any risk. So i think both blockchain and coinbase wallet are safe. Even using that's wallet are very easy.
IMO, even for online wallet standard Blockchain has laughable security.
Coinabse are not wallet, they are exchange, with wallet feature added.
If you need online wallet with 'ok' security, you can try Xapo although they have crappy Customer Support Roll Eyes
Besides, there's no guarantee for the website to not get hacked in the future.
118  Economy / Services / Re: Virtual Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 12, 2018, 06:06:41 PM
i was using wirex for a long time and they suspended all credits cards you didnt read the newspaper i think . i am using still wirex in my android device and still you cant create one.
You're the one whose not reading any news.
The blocked card happened because their Debit Card Provider, Wavecrest, has blocked all bitcoin based Debit Card. This issue affects every Bitcoin Debit Card, not just Wirex.
It affects like Cryptopay, Bitwala, and majority of Bitcoin Debit Card.
Recently Wirex strikes a deal with another Debit Card Provider and they just started to rolling out Debit Card for UK customer, if you can't create it means that you are in the waiting list and will need to wait for Wirex to roll out their cards into your territory.

I work very often with Giftocard (www.giftocard.com). They are in the Caucasus, issue a prepaid Mastercard VCC (no ID required) that has never given me any problems until now. The first load would be at 50 USD (35 on card) and card is issued a few hours after payment is made (by Prepaida, a 3rd party). And yes they do accept bitcoins (among the other Payment methods).
Interesting, how can Giftocard issue a VCC without KYC when most debit card requires KYC in order for the card to be issued, especially when dealing with cryptos Huh
119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: $1,200 of Import Fees? on: April 12, 2018, 07:26:31 AM
Didnt Trump order an increase in tariffs on products made in China? ReadyPlayer1, you should double check that with customs.

Its also a great idea to pay the fees immediately and start mining as soon as possible before the difficulty goes up fast. Bitcoin has already hit its floor and might start growing again.
Wait, did his increase in tariffs effective immediately?
I thought there are adjustment period for a few weeks/months before the tariffs got increased.

Yeah for some products, I pay more on import/custom fee than the original product. Sometimes I pay lesser than the 40% and sometimes I pay like 40-60% also. This varies every single time but yeah it is what it is.
Ouch, that sounds like a real nightmare.
At that point I would just refund the item back to seller unless its not sold on your country and has to be imported.
If you're buying from Amazon, you can apparently ask them to waive the fee after you place your order, they don't do it always but I did hear someone saying that they waived the fees for the person who had ordered. So guess will have to try that out.
But still 18% fee is no joke.
I know some sellers that can under-value an item, basically he will write lower price on invoice than the actual price.
With this sometimes you don't have to pay enormous tax at all.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling 0.14030492 BTC for 1,000 euros. on: April 12, 2018, 12:07:50 AM
I understood nothing of what you said, as long as I am willing to use an escrow method through a trusted member of this forum those red ratings mean nothing.
Even if you are using a trusted escrow, I'd doubt anyone will take your offer with current price.
Even with current price bump, your coins only worth 800 Euro at best.
Try again when the price has risen up to 9k Wink
