141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Windows Phone App for Bitcoin? Is there? on: April 05, 2018, 09:36:23 PM
I found a site with Android OS for windows phone, but looks like there are many known issues.
If you need to install android OS on windows phone, you might as well buy a real one...
The demand for windows phone are simply not enough to justify a local bitcoin wallet for it.
Either buy cheap android phone and use it solely for wallet or just wait until Electrum arrives on Windows Phone Tongue

(Although I must admit windows phone has a slick UI, too bad it flopped)
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Where did wallets store bitcoins ? on: April 05, 2018, 01:15:39 PM
why i cannot see the sender of those 50BTC?  and last transaction from this address was 18-03-27 12:57:12 ... so someone spend 10 years without spending those bitcoin?
Let's talk about Miner.
Miner's job are to collect unconfirmed transactions, put them into a block, and process it, This is called mining.
Whenever a miners solve a block, they will be rewarded with fresh new generated Bitcoins, this is how miners make most of their money (The other comes from transaction fees that user put on their transactions).
There can only be 21 Million Bitcoins generated, once 21 Million has been reached, there will be no new coins being generated and miners will only rely transactions fees.

At start, for every block solved miners will be rewarded with 50 Bitcoins. But, every 4 years this reward will be halved (Hence why it is called halving).
50 BTC reward are halved to 25 BTC, and then halved again to 12.5 BTC. Next halving will be done by 2020 and bitcoin reward will be reduced to 6.25 BTC

143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam or real?? on: April 05, 2018, 01:06:25 PM
- Find campaign managed by well-known Managers (Atriz, Yahoo, Lauda)
- If it's ICO, find out about their project, sometimes it is easy to smell bullshit project from their ANN topic Roll Eyes
- Make sure campaign fund are escrowed
- If the payrate are too good to be true, it is

In addition to what has been said above by vlom, it also matters whether the project will be actually worth something or not.

Even if the project isn't a scam and pays the participants, the tokens paid could be worth nothing if the development of the project does not meet expectations / standards.
Then again, if it's worthless, at least it still has some value to it Tongue
Has there any ICO project that don't meet expectation and flopped completely?
144  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does anyone use Bitpay? on: April 05, 2018, 01:01:32 PM
Have anyone used the service of Paybear? They seem like bitpay but with lower fees, not sure if they are legit or not though.
Paybear and Bitpay are completely different if you want to buy Bitcoin.
Paybear only gives you their API for payment gateway, Paybear supports multiple cryptocurrency out of the box when compared to Bitpay payment gateway.
Bitpay on the other hand has many services to offer, something as simple as buying bitcoin to Bitcoin Debit Card and Payment gateway.

If you want to buy Bitcoin, you can find exchanges that has lower/higher rate than Bitpay.

145  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin browser available in Android .earn bitcoin while browsing the web. on: April 05, 2018, 12:35:29 PM
hi its not mining .
its reward in return i earn from ads and other ways . there is no way you can install app can use your cou as playstore cannot allow that .
the app is safe the earnings is as a rewards
Then why does your description says that it is mining?
Also, what's your rate, how long does it take to reach the minimum threshold?

why im lying ? i do not need website for it now .
in google play store you cannot use a google image or yahoo image
or google.com  because the copyright
so i did hide that part or it will never be listen in google play
 here original pic
but cant be used in play store for copyrights https://imgur.com/a/oKxWr
I'm sure it falls under fair use, so it should be allowed.

Wheteher it is mining directly or not, it is never a good idea to mine on phone.
Not only Phone's CPUs are so slow to mine any valuable amount of cryptocurreny, its battery will be drained fast and possibly shortening the its life.
From what I have seen, this is just stock Chrome browser with just added mining in it.

Also, have you considered how long it would take to reach 0.001 even with high end mobile CPU?
P.s. a one plus five can mine for around 50H/s

149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Support on: April 02, 2018, 06:30:29 PM
Their support is completely shit anyway. Why another bother to invest on Yobit, although there are better exchanges out there with at least "decent" support they could handle if someone needs support. Although, I haven't encountered with such problem.
Problem is, many people have deposited their coins inside Yobit.
Most Yobit problem occured during withdrawal, Imagine if this people wanted to get out of Yobit by withdrawing their coins but have this problem and have to contact support to solve it.
We've just gone full circle on Yobit crap customer support Roll Eyes

I'm still blasted why they would hire a customer support, yet the whole operation needs to be verified by the owner directly.
Seems counter-productive to me Huh
150  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Marketing and advertising services on: April 02, 2018, 04:03:35 AM
I'd like to offer my paid services but our company works for money, we can be paid in tokens but it would have to be BEFORE the work begins.  www.bloc10.com
Do you even know how ICO works?
Also, 10k for consulting?
I can find more reputable service for the same price, even lower if I'm lucky Tongue

@OP
Do you need to promote your ico on Bitcointalk or outside?
I know a few reputable member who could do advertising on Bitcointalk Smiley
151  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Accounts Newbie and Jr. Member on: March 31, 2018, 04:58:39 PM
Selling accounts are discouraged by the community, not only Newbie and Jr.member are easy to achieve, those account will be -neg if found.
Better close the topic rather than risking it Roll Eyes

P.s Wrong section too buddy, might want to put it into marketplace if you still got the nerve Tongue
152  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: March 31, 2018, 09:34:18 AM
Any bitcoin debit card recommendations for US people?

Also using it while outside the US?

I heard of bitpay but are they still good?
As long as you have mean of verification, Bitpay should be good Smiley
Otherwise, try Coinsbank, they send cards to US too.

Those cards have either Mastercard / Visa logo, so you should be able to use it outside US, but there are additional fee for exchanging foreign currency on other country's ATMs
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BitCoin Core wallet Password Recovery help on: March 30, 2018, 02:32:14 PM
I'm not sure if this the right section.
Anyway, you might want to contact the guy who created the script, since he's from Bitcointalk it should be easy to contact him via PM.
Otherwise, just try to brute force it via this script and wait Roll Eyes
You can also edit these values to optimize the script
Quote
# Min/Max length of your password (included! so min:1 max: 3 would allow password length 1 but also length 3)
# So if you know the length, these should both be the same number.
[int] $global:minLength = 15
[int] $global:maxLength = 16
Only use this if you know the length of your password.
154  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: iptv Reseller scam on: March 30, 2018, 02:20:35 PM
Hey I got scammed too and was from this site. It was lot of money, thought since not removed then it's okay. No way we could report it and get money back? Guy is using same email and info. I'm pretty sure got blocked. I talked to him on phone so there is phone records and have WhatsApp msgs and text. It was lot of money too.
See my reply above for regarding getting your money back.

You could try to report him to Police, but there's not much they can do if the seller are from another country  Undecided
That's why we need to be cautious on online transaction, no knowing whether the seller are legit or not.
For now, consider your money is lost and make sure to check the seller properly next time.

Edit: You could report his Gmail for scam purposes and have it banned, although the seller can always easily create another one

155  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where i can learn more about blockchain? (currently important online courses on: March 30, 2018, 12:06:49 PM
Can you suggest any more Universities please?
I've only found that one https://digitalcurrency.unic.ac.cy/. Cyprus University of Nicosia that offers the first Master of Science degree in Digital Currency

I still believe in university way of learning if they can adapt fast  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I believe Nicosia is the only university to have degree on Digital Currency yet as the Digital Currency itself are still barely new.
I'd suggest to not take Digital Currency major yet, not until Digital Currency mature enough, the information that you learned on university right now could become obsolete in a few years. Roll Eyes

Meanwhile, I found this list that offers Blockchain Course taught by university.

Thanks for pointing out the asterisk I forgot to add extra ones on the Vivid token campaign everything should be updated now.  Still waiting for a campaign to confirm payments I might have to edit this post later today or tomorrow. Should I remove Yobit on the list or not I don't see people using their signature anymore. What do you guys think ?
Try to ask hilarious/Yobit whether there are still some active members left (Although I doubt Yobit will answer your PM)

There's a new campaign although it is moderated by -neg trusted member, not sure if this needs to be added

159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Build-a-Cryptofarm on: March 26, 2018, 11:05:45 AM
I wouldn't recommend you to mine or even build a Mining farm if you don't even know Mining Rigs and difference between FPGA or ASIC are.
You will most likely ended up wasting money and time on electricity costs and setting up your farm.
If you still insisted, you can ask your question on Mining Support for a better answer from someone who knows about mining

160  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ePayments.com , BitCoins, wire transfers, bank cards on: March 26, 2018, 10:37:07 AM
I just got a message from Epayments that they have internal policy and they DO NOT accept wire transfers from cryptoexchange sites. So it looks like they don't want to work with bitstamp /kraken and etc.
Any comments from user "EPayments" will be much appreciated. Also do we have any good alternatives for wire transfer ?
Thank you.

Epayments account never went online again since October, doubt he will answer you here.
But since the message came from Epayments itself, it is legit.
Anyone tried to use Epayment Prepaid Mastercard?
I'm looking for Bitcoin Debit Card that doesn't require Verification, ever since Wavecrest it is almost impossible for me to find fully anonymous non-KYC Debit Card.
