Notroll.in is good. Pps rate is just below Xurious. I don't think he has a minimum withdrawal limit.

1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can LTC ever be worth more then .25 of a BTC? on: October 05, 2012, 03:09:05 PM
I think 2013 will be the year of Litecoin.  One more big rise in value (3rd in it's first year) and it'll stick and start to see more action in the ecommerce world.  Most likely this has started already with the network hash close to doubling since last month and the steady rise of value on the exchange (btc-e).  The end of this month will tell the community alot... both miners and investors.

Crazy!

Litecoins are much more mellow Cool
1067  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: miners: how are you going to react to the reward halving? on: October 03, 2012, 10:56:27 AM
Those interested in immediate profit will upgrade to asic, those interested in long term investment will continue to mine, even at a loss (@current rates)

I'm in it for both immediate profit and long term investment... As I'm sure most on here are.  That's why I am upgrading and got orders in early for the next generation ASICs.  I'm hopeful the new equipment pays off itself within the first month as the rush comes online (would be great if its within the first week Smiley. I'm also hoping its paid off prior to the reward halving.  Then it's long term investing from there. And re investing in more equipment with profit.

I am with the rest of you that think the market will balance itself and keep the current predictable ratio of:
BTC cost : Difficulty : Personal Hash Power : Daily Intake (profit).

1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin ASICs on: October 01, 2012, 08:38:56 PM
Price will need to be much higher and network hash much greater.  Maybe at the 2 year LTC anniversary (or 3rd).  a couple high hashing units could easily bring down the system at this early phase in the life of this cryptocoin.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm joining the fun! on: October 01, 2012, 06:52:52 PM
how many cards have you got?

and what model's

Around 75 GPU. I have those models:
5770, 5830, 5850, 5870, 5970, 6770, 6950

cooling and power... how do you do it? I coudln't imagine finding a way to deal with the heat from THAT many GPU's.
Live in a cold  climate and use it to heat your home.

Bingo! Summer is seriously a pain, from May to August, I had a total of 22 000 BTU of air conditioner running in my mining local to be able to survive the summer. But the rest of the year, I simply use a couple of fans to move air around and I also use the central ventilation of the house to help heat the house. It's 12C outside right now, it's pretty damn easy for me to deal with the heat. In winter, when the temperature is around -20C, mining is like a gift from heaven.

and how many motherboard's do you have?

and how many power supply?

and what was your cost for all the hardware you bought

I have a total of 21 rigs, so 21 boards and 21 power supplies. The cost is kept confidential.

It's a mystery to me why miners with this much power aren't solo mining.
1072  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - Butterfly Labs Jalepeno Pre Orders on: October 01, 2012, 12:34:09 PM
I'd call BFL to confirm. Safest bet.  The email in the screenshot is their standard confirmation email after placing the order. HOWEVER, if the buyer doesn't complete the Paypal or BitPay transaction this email is still sent.  AND a second email is sent if the buyer is paying via Wire Transfer.

IMO this is not a valid means of showing proof of said orders. Just call BFL to confirm.

4800 LTC for both shipped.  48 hour offer as LTC is on upward climb to finish out the year.

1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Haw many PPCoins will there be? on: October 01, 2012, 02:10:25 AM
Seems like too many coins.  Easier to buy now than to mine IMO

Great Promotion!

1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [SUGGESTIONS] LiteBit.co on: September 27, 2012, 10:16:40 PM
We are soliciting suggestions on where to direct our limited availablity towards making LiteBit a true community destination.

Brief History:
We started at the beginning of 2012 with the intent of creating a convienient online billboard highlighting Bitcoin & Litecoin Community Projects.  We pushed Litecoin projects harder than Bitcoin projects because of the lack of exposure these startups had and the "newness" of the Litecoin Project itself.  The big goal was giving these project teams free marketing and more exposure for donations and recruitment.

Around April my wife and I adopted a beautiful baby girl and my time to work on most projects went down the crapper

Told you it was brief  Tongue

Suggestions, Questions, Thoughts, Rants, Raves, Issues, Problems, Praises:
I'm starting to carve out time again for LiteBit.co and 2 other cryptocoin projects I have been mulling on.

• I'd love to highlight new projects: both Litecoin & Bitcoin
• I need to purge some "old" projects
• Anything we may be missing on the site to help the community?
• Would a Marketplace supporting both LTC & BTC be worthwhile?
• Would a chat feature be worthwhile?  Either on a dedicated page or sidebar or per project?  Or not at all?
• Are the ads distracting?
• Are there sections we could add to enhance the visitor experience?

I appreciate the feedback ahead of time
Cheers,

Paul

When solo mining:
Can I check in on my local wallets with block explorer?

I'd like to know when new blocks are found on each rig's local wallet.
