Shares would have to be larger than a satoshi.

Quote
The “anti-dust” patch, as it has become known, imposed a minimum size on any output in a bitcoin transaction. An output is a unit in a bitcoin transaction that defines the new owner, and the amount of bitcoins that he or she receives. In the new setup, any amount fewer than 5,430 satoshis (0.00005430 bitcoins) is disregarded. The developers made this patch to stop people from stuffing the blockchain with lots of microscopic transactions.

Addressing the BTCT.CO holders who don't want to transfer to Havelock and now have their shares in limbo would be great in your meeting.
Let us know. Cheers

I am having issues with IRC, reconnecting with IP 31.7.62.72

Let's just continue here. We left off with this...

Code:
[21:32] <@radiumsoup> I am still getting a LOT of people asking for proof of your identity. They want proof that Sam Noi is the real person in control of the “labcoin” forum account
[21:33] <@radiumsoup> do you have a public Facebook or Linkedin profile?
...
[21:37] == labcoin__ [~labcoin_@61-220-97-72.HINET-IP.hinet.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 245 seconds
745  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 07:34:30 PM
Code:
[15:30] <@radiumsoup> How many bitcoins are left, and please tell us what address they are at
[15:31] <+labcoin__> i am not on that workstation right now. I'll provide this info on the forum, is that alright?
[15:31] <@radiumsoup> yes, thank you
[15:31] <+labcoin__> there are more than 50% remaining.

746  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 07:22:57 PM
Code:
[15:21] <@radiumsoup> So you are the only person running labcoin itself, and all the engineering and production is outsourced?

[15:21] <+labcoin__> I cannot reveal names because i am not authorized to. People is calling our company publicly a scam.
[15:22] <+labcoin__> right now, yes.
747  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 07:21:07 PM
"Are you willing to provide proof that you are an actual person named Sam Noi?"

[15:18] <+labcoin__> I will consider this option as well.

completely dodged

agreed

749  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: September 24, 2013, 01:55:43 PM
Ascension,

As you know BTCT is closing next month.

What would happen to our btcquick shares if bitfunder shuts down?

What protections do we have?

BitFunder has a public asset list showing ownership of shares for each asset. Just like BTCT.co & LitecoinGlobal initiated about a week before the shutdown. Each issuer has access to these so proof of ownership is easy to verify. I can't speak to this asset's plan if what you mentioned to BF happens. But this is how we as shareholders are protected.
750  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 23, 2013, 12:05:15 PM
I'd recommend re-locking trades until each asset issuer has posted a response on each exchange for the shareholders. That will protect us 2 ways.

1. By stopping the "cashing out" by uninformed shareholders that are not seasoned to what is going to take a long time to sort out and will be different for each asset issuer.

2. To not artificially reduce a 7-day average or 30-day average by all the "cashing out" shareholders. Most assets listed have buy back clauses tied to a 7-day or 30-day average. By opening up trading we are just hurting our chances at realistic buy back valuation if asset issuers decide to stop the asset and buy back.

Trading should be halted for these 2 reasons for protection of the shareholders.

If anyone wants Day 1 Jupiters (3) we just cancelled our order and the refund is processing.  Keep an eye out on the KnCMiner product page for these.
FYI.

Quote
Firstly, our orders for September delivery are now closed. If any refunds occur, any devices that become available will be added as, and when, on the KnCMiner site. So for those keen to secure a device for the preliminary deliveries please keep a look out. They will be sold on a first come first served basis and be added to the end of the September/October queue.

Doesn't work like that,

They go to the back of the line when repurchased.

You should have sold them instead of getting a refund.

I see, I read it wrong. Maybe 1 or 2 folks will get their miners a little faster then.

We went the refund route so we can move on and not mess with shipping changes and other hassles. And we came out ahead about $15/BTC from the date we ordered and today's valuation. Plus, finding market value for the pre-orders wasn't worth the hassle either. Funds tied in escrow until Day 1 delivery does us no good and 2PH/s+ coming on the market has sidelined any sensible buyers out there. KnCMiner provided excellent support for the refund request and everything related to this project throughout.
753  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: VMC -- FAST HASH. $6/GH on: September 18, 2013, 02:48:29 PM

Sorry, with over 2PH coming online in the next 8 weeks, I will not be doing any pre-orders.   Have a shipping product or my money stays with me.   Tongue

+1 Existing stock that can ship out in 48 hours or less is the only sensible direction for our Bitcoin. Otherwise we'll keep it in machines and collectives already mining.
I'd rather invest in companies taking pre-orders than in pre-order mining equipment. Times are have changinged

John K. haven't given any response until now. We need to find a new well known escrow. If somebody knows, please advice.

Try Tomatocage as escrow. He's a mod on here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=37522
