you should post in an active thread where he has already replied.  He's more likely to notice it.

Right now it is all we've got.

At least until bitcoin businesses and bitcoin investor learn to:

1. Make better decisions
2. Take responsibility for those decisions.

Thanks for the verification Smoothie.  Coming from you we now know we can disregard the comment entirely.

1 year after the MF GLOBAL meltdown 1.6 BILLION! dollars is still unaccounted for and it is high unlikely John Corzine who the US Congress recently found at fault will server a day in jail.

This reminds me of myself: This particular mistype happens to me a lot. I also tend mistype "silkraod" as it turns out. That brain-bug recently cost me 14 BTC. So BCB, just a tip: don't try to be anonymous. And if you ever do: use a spellchecker.

Molecular

I'm not anonymous, really.  No one is really anonymous on the internet.  And yes I've sent the wrong amount of BTC before but I've had the fortune to be trading with honest traders who've returned the difference.

Trendon Shavers is a piker compared to this and probably has nothing to worry about from the SEC investigation.

1750  Economy / Economics / Re: The pirate-based shitstorm was and is a necessary regulator on: November 24, 2012, 07:30:10 PM
for the record "Pirate"/"Pirateat40" === "Trendon Shavors"

If you could refer to him by his proper name rather then his nic it's helps with SEO.  The more hits "Trendon Shavors" gets on google, the more likely other who have yet to be scammed by will be kept inform of his methods.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's spelled Shavers, but sure, optimize the wrong spelling.

And he writes Shavors instead of Shavers like 95% of the time lol

fuck fuck fuck.... i'm foiling my own plan.  Post Updated!

Thx to the bitcointalk spelling patrol! Anyone who bothers to read my posts knows I NEED it!

Thanks.

you guys,  I don't want to be a dick and post a link to LMGTFY but Fred Wilson is a BTC friendly venture capitalist.  A venture capitalist is someone who invents money in start ups.

"One of the first outspeakers, Fred Wilson, a prominent venture capital figure, noted bitcoin as the next big thing on the internet, according to a wildly popular Wired.com article, illustrating the rise and so called article-publication-time fall of Bitcoin itself."

TECH Venure Capitolists are closely watched by the media so Fred Wilson action's mean:
1.  He believe's a bitcoin buisness will eventualy make him money.
2.  He will bring more main stream media attention to the bitcoin economy.

These are other names you should know.

"Paul Graham is currently the third major technology investor to show support for Bitcoin. The first was Fred Wilson of Union Square Ventures, and the second major investor was Tim Draper."

Hope that helps.
1753  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have vcc preloaded with 200$ Looking for BTC on: November 24, 2012, 05:30:13 PM
they all PM'ed me. it wasn't huge deals also. Just small ones.

Jimmysmith,

That is a little sketch.  If I do a .5btc or a 100 btc trade all through PM or email or skype or chat I'll return to Bitcointalk.org (or OTC)  and both traders will +1 or somehow each trader will publicly confirm that the trade took place.

If you did not know about that you should start.  If you did know about that and you don't publicly memorialize then trade the like I said, Its Sketch and should be concluded that the did not happen.

Jimmysmith

If you've done five deals here could you please link to where the counter party actually confirms a deal took place.  I can't find any.

Not spamming, just curious to see if the deal goes through.

Why you want to buy BTC with a VCC?
