This is my second post. I have been involved in bitcoin for close to a year but i never signed up for an account here. I have been an avid reader and follower of many of the posts on this board. I want to contribute back by replying to a post who needs help building a website. Since I am a newbie i am unable to reply .

I have been following bitcoin for the past year. I have contributed to the IRC chat channels and have read a number of articles concerning bitcoin. I have worked on projects that required the use of bitcoind as well as anything bitcoin.

I am a computer programmer / web developer / solutions provider. There was a post on this message board that I was interested in helping on but it appears that I am restricted to this one section. I am not a newbie but since I never registered last year the system is flagging me as such.

Is there any way I can have my newbie restriction lifted so that I may reply to the post that I want to help on?
