Its better to teach kids somethinh that would be fun for them or it will just be a waste of time since most kids would only take interest if its fun so if your really want to teach kids about bitcoin, then add bitcoin as prize they can win in dice, or use some terms relating to bitxoij in their crosswords, thats up to you.
I will agree with you in this regard that kids only get excited to explore those things that seem interesting to them and if we really want to give them the concept of bitcoins, we can teach them via videos or video games. Moreover some cartoon clips should be made to promote bitcoins.

children nowadays is very influencing by a modern technology they want playing games watching movies in the internet that's how we can teach them on how to earn bitcoin, we can introduce them bitcoin by playing games that can earn satoshi so they will have an income, and children nowadays is so wise unlike before children is not influence by a modern technology they just want to play outside home playing chinese garter.
I personally suggest that kids should be told about the importance of bitcoins first. Their value in the current market and try to develop their interest in this. Afterwards we can let them know the basic information and other details about this currency. This is the most effective way i guess.

When teaching kids it's going to be a long process because they will surely ask more.
If only my kids are in the right age I will certainly gonna tell them and eventually educate them about bitcoin, it's something
to share especially within the family so they can help you grow your income and you can get great ideas as well.

I think if teach it to children better do not. because it would interfere with their lessons at school that they should know. Bitcoin is better used for people who have finished school or for college students. because they already understand how to use money properly.

I think it is not bad to teach the children about bitcoin. Bitcoin is not that much treated as a currency in some countries so I think it will look like a collectibles to them with good equivalent in money. The thing is, we should not make them focus on this kind of activity, we must let them focus on their school activities and not on waiting for a good time to trade money, bitcoin and other alternative currencies.

Yes, teaching bitcoin to the kids will be a good thing, but as the user stated one need to educate in the right manner. Here, some users have a negative thinking and teaches in the similar manner. This makes kids have a negative minded approach and ruin the living.

Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system called the first decentralized digital currency, since the system works without a central repository or single administrator. So it's necessary for our kids if they want to know about bitcoin if they want to have knowledges about it. But it's hard cause Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are still a mystery to most adults, so teaching children how they work may seem a strange ambition. So i guess if your kid is curious about Bitcoin, give him every your knowledges about Bitcoin to him, be patience cause if Bitcoin is still mystery to adults, So maybe in our kid's view, bitcoin is a fairty tale.

Why do we need to pressure the kids? We don't need to force them to get exposed in something that is very complicated in a way that, you really need to get familiar not only in Bitcoin but also in the web as well. And why do we need to do such effort? Bitcoin is just sitting there around the corner, time will come for them to have the chance to know Bitcoin, but not that early, don't forget that they're still children.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
Kids these days are increasingly smart and have so much more access to things. Games are the way to go, solve puzzles make a few satoshi (very few) and in exchange to these satoshis you unlock more puzzles or get some kind of a virtual reward.
This would enable the thought process that you've got to earn if you want something for yourself, and also keeps them in close vicinity to crypto-currency and the crypto-world.
I disagree about this. Teaching bitcoin in children is not good. Because for me theyre too young for this they should enjoy their childhood days. Yes theyre living in a new world which is technology is becoming more powerful and we can say that they are technology inclined as of now but i disgree to teach bitcoin for them. Its just my opinion.

Bitcoin will not caught the attention of kids.  At that stage kids are more into games, playing things, and doing anything because they are into stage of curiosity.  Thus, teaching them about bitcoins is sort of wasting time.  Maybe just wait for them to reach puberty then you can teach them about bitcoin.

I would say it's best to teach them the same way you teach them about money. Except for the bits about security. Cheesy
Kids are able to pick things up quickly anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard.
I dont think so, children must be playing enjoying their youths, and looking up to be someone who want them to become not introducing a risky system which involves hackers and also huge amount of money, they are too young to recognized the fact that they need money to survive, teach their parents will be a good idea I think, and do you think their parent will allow their child to be at risk?

Kids are very much interested in playing and spending money at this period of age. We should need to teach them in playful manner so that they don’t get bored by the concept of bitcoins. We need to be really creative and jolly with them if we want them to garb the basic concept of bitcoins and how they are used for earning money. It would really help them n their practical life.

I think it is not a good idea because they are still in young age. We should not yet introduce to the kids about cryptocurrency and especially the bitcoin because for sure they will not understand it.

I think they can understand them, the problem here is how they will be able to apply the thing that they learned. They are children, if they knew that they can exchange this digital currencies into money, they might be focused on these and might affect their studies and also their future.

teaching kids about bitcoin is really a difficult task, but it can be done, children are always into games, listening stories so making them learn through these methods about expenditure and buying on products will be effective. most kids want toys, free games, some thing to enjoy with so they could pass their time, saying they could earn these though bitcoin will increase their interest in bitcoin  and this forum too,but the thing is kids should first reach a good age to know about these things like in their teenage days, before these years there shouldn't be burden on them of any kind.
