1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 26, 2017, 05:09:54 AM
The ultimate future of money is in the trashcan lol. Yeah im serious here. Money is ok in a world full of scarcity. But yes blockchain technology is awesome to make a transition to a better world.

Nope, how can a well treasured  wealth of a state be put to trash? unless they already found something that could replace it. For sure before they go too much out of the feature of money, they will just develop it and make it more useful and adopt to the future needs of the people. Government is clever, they won't just trash away what gives them power.  Smiley
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 26, 2017, 02:00:29 AM
My friend can't control him self after i taught him about gambling it self i don't know if he really can but he asking me now how to quit gambling after loosing too much money in casino i warn him that gambling won't do anything for his life never fix his life it will wreck it.

So, where is he now? still a gambler? Why warn him that gambling would wreck his life if you are the one who bring him/her there?. Anyway, I think control is all up to the gambler himself, no one can tell you how to do it since you are the one in the position of what you are doing. If you see your self getting out of control after losing, gambling is not for you and probably you are already abusing your self.   Smiley
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: January 26, 2017, 01:49:07 AM
of course everyone will leave the bitcoin, surely they will not be interested in saving the bitcoin and will soon sell it. then it can be ascertained that the price in 1 hour will drop to the lowest level and in 1 day nothing will accept bitcoin so that everything will be destroyed.

Don't forget that we are not one and the marketplace is not just what we see. There are other marketplaces down there. But anyway, I don't see bitcoin dying if it is being banned by the government. It thrived to situation like this, well, I think it will survive like this. Exchanges might be gone, but we still can sell it via other bitcoin user.  Smiley
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: January 26, 2017, 01:43:21 AM
feel it is indeed bad, the prices of goods and services per day are always going up, finding a job is difficult, increasing unemployment, criminal offence are also high, many people in my country so desperate by economic problems.

Probably that's worst. If that's the economy in your country, probably it will take time before it could recover unless your leader has ways to fast track those solutions his/her subordinates has to solve this. I am sure each country has a contingency plan each time such as like this happen. Care to share what country you are from?  Smiley
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: January 26, 2017, 01:29:09 AM
Definetly !  Paypal has stupid rulles , you can be caught really easey , btc is safe .

So what do you want it to have? very loose? No, that's not how to run a payment system. You should protect both of your client, bet it the buyer or the merchant. Your reputation will be ruined if your service sucks and you didn't do anything to protect them.
1006  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: January 26, 2017, 12:41:26 AM
Definitely yes, owning a house is one important thing when you decided to have your own family. Maybe in the near future bitcoin can be use to directly buy a house even noy converting into fiat.

As a man, it should be your priority. Sooner or later you will have a family so you really need it. Even if it costs you 90% or all your bitcoin. If you spotted a house for sale and you can afford it, then go for it, don't hesitate. That is a very nice gift you could keep for yourself and soon for your family. If you could buy it with bitcoin that's good, or if cash out from bitcoin, it's just fine.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 25, 2017, 01:56:49 PM
I think it is better to invest than gambling
but if do you have a lot of money you can choose both. Invest in some altcoin and hold it for the long time
maybe you can get a lot of profit in the future.

You can always do both and both looks like gambling. Investing is also risky, same as gambling. But anyway, if you wanna go long on investment, don't go with altcoin, go for bitcoin, that is way more practical. Keeping an altcoin is also risky, some of them die easily... With bitcoin you already saw it's track before, so probably in the future it will be like that, it will go up and down.
1008  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 25, 2017, 01:23:59 PM
Actually if someone wants to hide their money they should use bitcoin, but the big question there is how much amount of money the bitcoin can handle. I really do think that if a wealthy man from the government wants to use bitcoin, I think we need more bitcoin so we could accommodate and welcome those corrupt officials?

Did anyone hear about people using Bitcoin to bribe some guy in the government (or elsewhere)?

Is it safe to grease the wheels this way? If no one got caught so far, does it mean that no one actually tried to use bitcoins for exactly this purpose or does it mean that it is just a perfect tool for passing the money under the table to someone and no one can be caught at all. Really, how can such bribes can be traced? After all, you can always back off and claim that this is not your Bitcoin address, and you hear about Bitcoin for the first time in your whole life at that

I haven't heard any, but for sure, if bitcoin is going to be use to bribe a government official, it's going to be anonymous since you can deny an address. But there will come a time that those who were bribed will convert bitcoin to fiat, and that is where everything will start. If you use the money to buy luxury cars or whatever, it will be noticeable and that is where investigation will come and all your properties will become questionable and papers will be asked if you declared it and if it is taxed. Unless when you convert your bitcoin to fiat you use another bank account not related to you or any of your family member or a bank account in other country.

However, if you are an ordinary man with wealth, why hide it, you could just tax it and you are free.  Cheesy

When bribery enters through the door, faith goes out through the chimney
I love this one.  Wink
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 25, 2017, 12:38:14 PM
I think most of them are afraid especially their respective central banks are afraid it will collapse their local fiat currency and render their economy in tatters.
No, that's impossible that bitcoin would take down the economy of each country, in fact it could bring more money income to its citizens.

There are also growing concerns of the illegal use of bitcoins like paying for drugs through money laundering,
This is the reality. Probably the government will be looking at bitcoin as a tool for the criminals to make  it easy for them to move.

pornography, and all other devices that goes contrary to the laws of the respective countries.
I don't see pornography as a problem except if what the porn site is showing are those children being molested or shows like that.

1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: January 25, 2017, 12:04:34 PM
If I manage to win some big amount. I'd like to give about 30-40% in charity and will spend most of the remaining money buying gifts for family and friends. The remaining goes back into gambling or you can call that investing.  Cool

I've heard this before in many gamblers. Most of them pray that they could win big and they would stop gambling and half of their win will be donated in  charities and others to make their family happy. The truth is, it never ended like that. Most of them after winning would have a good time and later on go back to their gambling habit and forgetting about their promise and worst forgetting about their obligation to their family.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 25, 2017, 11:09:26 AM
Ofcourse invest it for example : if you invest your money into bitcoin when 2014 then you already gain profit up to 3x ( when the value reach $ 1000++ )

If you just save it, you can get much profit like invest can got !

I look at it as like saving. It's just in the form of bitcoin. But it could be viewed as an investment too if you are an investor.

If you are very sure about where you are going to invest your money, then it's good to invest it, just like what you've mention, many already speculated that the price would skyrocket this year, and that is true, and those who believe and invest in bitcoin, probably having a good time now. Sad to say not all of us have that strong faith on bitcoin and also, we are after the safety of our money, so we save it.
1012  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be in 2018 on: January 25, 2017, 10:53:45 AM
IMO, If we have to base 2018 from this past years increase, probably it will be more than double, but if would base it with the current price and what's happening in the network and in the community, the exchanges, and everything that may happen this year, the negative parts are always the talk and the good progress of bitcoin is not being talked about, probably the price would still be roaming around this price and would probably reach $2000 but I am not sure if it could go higher than that.  Smiley
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 25, 2017, 10:32:15 AM
Fill your time with positive activities, such as sports, watch tv, travelling with the family, and so on, a lot of people gambling because they've got time to spare so they use for activities that are ugly.
The best way to quit gambling is not to engage in any activity related to gamble. Why not spend your time in any activities like sports, outdoor activities (running, biking, hiking etc...), enhance your talent and skills and whatsoever. Learn and explore than playing gambling in that way you will become a better person.

Funny but I look at your comments are the same.  Smiley But anyway, your suggestions are great, it's just that, I found it to be not so good for a man who is in his working age. I'd rather have many jobs to keep me busy than to travel and enjoy my life now. Usually the reason why we gamble is because there is money in it, though we don't still consider it as a main source of income.

So instead of travelling, or whatever, find a job, work hard, and earn a lot, that way you won't waste your time.  Smiley
1014  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: January 25, 2017, 10:22:23 AM
Even bitcoin is getting more and more popular, fiat doesn't reduce. If BTC would still exist in the future, I know fiat money too. They are both working together to provide us a better economy, depending on each other.

Fiat will always be there, as long as it is being distributed by the government, then it will be there, unless the government decided to remove it in circulation and change it with something else.

How can we make real money if fiat will lost?

That's not a problem anymore, when fiat would really disappear, that means the government has come up with something to replace it.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business? on: January 25, 2017, 09:59:57 AM
hello
I have a question
what was impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business?
Actually the time that I started using bitcoin, I earn few cents a day and that is already a great help to me that year, I have no business yet, but in my life, it helped me.

do you use bitcoin in your really life every days in your country?
Nope, I need to convert it to fiat to be useful, and not everyday, but usually every week if I am in need of extra cash and my salary is still few days away.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 25, 2017, 07:55:01 AM
for lovers of gambling may be no reason why their addiction, but for a new to gambling addiction is very dangerous because it can cause various problems in life.
I think is same, all level gambler if addict certainly is bad when one addict, if they are have a lot of money, would have been no problem, but when they are addict and don't have money, surely they would earn money by all means such as stealing, or by selling drug to be gambling.

How come that there is no reason why you became addicted to gambling? there should always be a reason, if you do a thing for no reason, it means that thing is nonsense. Actually I don't see any difference between a newbie become addicted and a gambling addict that continues to feed his habit. Both of it are dangerous and both kind of gamblers could steal, sell drugs or whatever way to make easy money to feed their desire.
1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 25, 2017, 07:02:38 AM
Sorry, let me rephrase - not prevent crime exactly, but prevent violence during criminal transactions.

In a criminal transaction Escrow would be the safest option because if the escrow jets with the money he'll have two criminals after him, not just one!

If I have to do a crime and want to sell something illegal, I won't use escrow, I'd rather sell it directly to the person who wants to buy than to put it in the hands of escrow. Paying it directly, I'll give you the contraband but before I release the keys, send me the amount, you still have time to check the items while I am waiting for the confirmation. Usually, like what we see in movies, criminals when they have transactions with other criminal, they do it themselves without any third party.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 25, 2017, 05:46:07 AM
The future of paper money is not at all at risk as there are many countries who are still dependent only on fiat and have no idea about the digital payment system and in that scenario paper money will also be in demand as in poor countries the workers gets daily daily wages in fiat and we cannot expect them to use bitcoins or any other digital payment system.

You have a point there. Probably it will take time before the world will be saturated on news about bitcoin and its uses. There are still people who live in the forest and count their metal coins when buying something in the market. There are also those people who can't even afford to buy their own gadgets to have an access to internet, and worst, there are still people who don't have a bank account and are paid over the counter by their employer.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: January 25, 2017, 05:27:17 AM
Well at first ,i don't know when i play gambling it is any of my time if possible and if i want to play and frequently i play in my house i don't play outside unless im going to a real Casino place to gamble.

That means you have plenty of vacant time, let me guess, you are a student? I too do it at home, but not all the time. There are times that when I sit in my computer I am just finishing up some take home unfinished papers. Definitely, don't play gambling outside or if it is not in your personal computer. That's a little awkward to gamble at internet cafe's.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: January 25, 2017, 05:00:02 AM
yes its possible, offline job in us can easily earn more than that, that if you can find a job there  Cheesy.
online, also possible.

Offline or day jobs are great to make money. However, not all country have the same wages. Some has lower pay specially in countries where economy is not good and capitalist rule the business industry. Online jobs, I doubt if you can make .1 BTC a week, that would mean a lot of micro jobs and if not, a very good skill or a larger capital to start with.
