621  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: May 22, 2017, 06:51:21 AM
Actually i'm not agree with death penalty because not all crimals are guilty...some of them are inocence..although there are advantages when there is a death penalty law because crimes maybe lessen...people are afraid to do crimes..

If there is no exception to the rule, then death penalty is fine. Law makers are always making themselves safe first before they approve a bill.

We can't prevent crimes just because there is death penalty. There are instances where a man goes into trouble unexpectedly, so even if we are aware that there is this bill, if there is no way we can escape the "trouble", even if it is still a "self defense", law makers could always find loop holes, and if your lawyer is not good enough, then you will end up guilty.

What I am saying is, death penalty is good, not just as a deterrent for people to commit crime but it must also be a deterrent for corrupt politicians to prevail.
622  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More corruption in the Philippines. So what else is new? on: May 01, 2017, 11:47:59 PM
Illegal detention and money making machines, and sooner or later the next candidate to Mercy killing by the police. That is not a good way to clean the streets. It just makes things worst and probably would make his popularity rating fall more.

They can only do that on ordinary drug users and pushers. Until now they can't catch a big fish, its like curing a disease without finding the real cause of the problem.
623  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Earthquake hits Manila on: April 20, 2017, 10:24:24 PM
The epicenter was in Batanggas, it suffered huge damages in infrastructure, physical and emotional damage. Hope the Philippine government is ready for what the PHILVOCS called "The Big One" I hope we are all ready. May God guides as all.

It's a little exaggerated, The last earthquake doesn't make too much damage. But it should be an indication that there is a movement in the plates near those places, specially the fault line which everyone knows where the "big one" might happen.

IMO, Philippines is preparing to this kinds of disaster, we all know that it will happen in time, so probably if it happens, we don't know what will happen and how many will die, government should be preparing for the impact and not just the preparation.
624  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: April 03, 2017, 07:21:52 AM
its not imposible if you are a developer..you can make 1 or 2 bitcoin in a month

but trading too will make you earn btc...

That's true, you can really earn big when you are a developer, opportunities are always waiting. However, we can't deny the fact that you are not the only developer, there are plenty out there, they are competing with each other, and because of that competition, others are forced to just lower their rate so they could get the project.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: March 31, 2017, 04:09:32 AM
I usually gamble on holidays because of the holiday's time to cool off from routine activities performed in ordinary day it made more focused and I gambled online so I don't have to go out looking for a place where I was gambling and also in my place gambling is activities that are ilegal

On holidays, I am also celebrating whatever that holiday is, with that said, I am outside the house, or with the family and have no time to gamble for almost a day or longer. Though I usually check my email and reading some in the forum and in the internet, I don't focus too much when it is holiday, I wnat my vacations to be worth while.
626  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte is most genius leader in the world agree? on: March 31, 2017, 01:06:57 AM
I don't consider Duterte a political genius. He hasn't prove anything yet to label him a genius. His war on drugs is in question, we have to wait for this term to finished and see if he transformed Philippines into a second world country. Until then, I will not consider him a political genius. Not yet.

If he can bring Philippines out of third world, then I would definitely believe him and salute his leadership. However, he only have 5 years left on his term to do it, and none of his goals are finished only lives lessen with his war on drugs and war on terrorism. His subordinates are also struggling to fulfill and finish his goals too. I would consider him as one of a kind, but I don't look at him as a genius nor wise.
627  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think to the president of the Philippines? on: March 31, 2017, 12:39:45 AM
Many news that mention that the President of the Philippines (duterte) is an iron fist. many citizens who are less like the policy of the State, I expect Philippines keep well and safe.
The president is very odious and brave. Nobody has ever tried to be angry at either the United States or the European Union, and Rodrigo Duteret took a step and even spoke out in their negative direction.

He is brave, we know that, but it doesn't mean that all that cursing is ethical and I think it is not a good behavior. I just hope that he really can stand on his word. International community are a great help specially in the Philippines where not all are privileged to own a business or atleast have a job. Staying away from them is like refusing opportunities.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: March 29, 2017, 12:18:27 AM
The best way for a steady income, perhaps by dividing the funds we have in some of the post. and not just focused on one thing only.

For example, post of investments in stock market, savings and or bitcoin also gold.

You got a point there. passive income should not be in just one investment. It should be in many, so when one is down, you still receive ROI in the others. That would make the cash flow continuously moving to you while you are still looking for others. Passive income will always be a savings in bank or investments, as long as there is ROI, it will be passive.
629  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Maute group has established presence in Manila, Philippines on: March 28, 2017, 05:35:53 AM
Are they trying to link themselves with ISIS? if yes, then this bad news for the government of President Duterte. So they have Abu Sayyaf, then this one which is Maute group. I say this is bad news because this will another arm group that is fighting the Philippine government. I guess ISIS had to many cells globally fighting under them and this is so frightening.

Get used to it. It is not just maute group that is in Metro Manila. There are other groups that are there. There are even MNLF now that are recruiting military reservists and ROTC graduates in the nearby provinces.

Probably they are just diverting the attention of the authorities that are pounding their camps in the south.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 28, 2017, 05:21:54 AM
experience can build how we gamble and usually in the match people who have more experience have a high chance to win it could also apply to gambling

True. In gambling experience just makes us calm and always gives us space to think in between bets. the longer the experience of the gambler, the more they are relaxed in betting and in choosing. Newbies are impulsive, they are easily carried away by their emotions.

But all of us pass thru being a newbie in gambling, we know how it feels to panic and learn from it and we always carry that always. But when it comes to winning, I believe that it is not just experience that we need.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 28, 2017, 01:21:33 AM
I feel that I can't live without gambling, and that's because I do it for fun. I know that everyone have their own purpose of doing it, and I have that.
I try to gamble I know that what if I lose, it won't affect my life at all and keep doing it because I sometimes win something that nobody can even think about and winning is also a reason that keeps attracting me to do it in a repetitive manner.

Your end statement still point out that you are winning, that means you are into it. That means that is what keeps you coming back and not the fun or whatever else. That is common to gamblers, and that is the only reason that I can see that keeps most of the gamblers coming back.

632  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to survive in dictatorship? on: March 28, 2017, 01:07:31 AM
do you hear about narkotic fight in philipine? The president kill everyone who suspect a drugs dealer, and drop they corps in the Manila street. Its dictator, its 2017, its decadent for humanism.

Not yet, but it is almost there. Lets just hope that it don'e end up there. All that are talking against his plans are now being suppressed.

Anyway, its hard to predict what will happen to us when a leader is a dictator. You have two choice, stay or leave the country. Stay and blindly follow the leader until a flock who are against the leader starts to talk, join them. Leave, forget about your country and return when there is already a new leader.
633  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2017, 12:55:04 AM
I'm sure that in some cases children could teach their parents about Bitcoin. Sometimes kids now more then we know or want to beleive they are involved in. I know some cases where kids were earning bitcoins even with some illegal activities and parents thought they use computer only for playing games and Facebook.
Personally, I really dont think bitcoin should be introduced to kids because kids are easily carried a way by what they see and how do one introduce bitcoin to kids without the exposure to the internet so for me, I would prefer one wait to the point where the kids are grown to be enough to take responsibilities for their actions and be able to discern which way to go as as a result of the exposure to the internet then the teaching of bitcoin can come in.

Kids of today are smarter, we all know that, but it doesn't mean that all that they know are good and they don't know that, that is why parents should be guiding their kids specially in using their gadgets and internet.

Personally, I won't teach a kid to earn bitcoin not even to use internet regularly in the future, I am sure that too much use of gadgets and internet would mean lesser physical activities to them.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: March 27, 2017, 02:34:35 AM
For me gambling is an short cut to make more money in no time but generally it doesn't happen every time as most of the times we will be loosing but if luck favors then it can give me some best earnings in short time which is not possible with any other source of earning money.

People who rely their future on gambling are delusional. They don't know how to succeed using their strength, they just want to dream about the future and not doing anything to be there.

Anyway, back to the topic, I consider gambling as a form of investment and not a game, we invest time, effort and money on it so we could achieve our goal, while in a game, the result/goal is already given.
635  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 27, 2017, 02:18:10 AM
Saving in the bank is important most especially for emergency purposes. Now, there are now banks which offered better rates. Here in my country, cooperatives are offering higher returns especially on time deposits. Now, spread your money by also buying gold, stocks and yes also Bitcoin as it can indeed be giving a good rate of return because of its volatility. Just be careful, though.

You can only do that when you have plenty of money to invest. But as ordinary people, it is hard to divide the money into smaller portions as it will also give us smaller ROI and in different times. With that said, if the capital is small, put it in one investment only or in savings only, if it is big, then that's the time to choose which one would make us feel better and satisfied with our decision.
636  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: March 27, 2017, 01:53:15 AM
You can't make decent money with out skills or capital

Well, we will need those two not just one of it to earn better.

It will take lot of hard work and efforts to earn 1 btc in that short period and it will also depend on what skills you hold and how dedicated you are at your work and even trading cannot give you that amount if you don't have good knowledge of it and if you invest there without any knowledge then you will surely loose your money.
I can't make at least one bitcoin yet hopefully someday. Is anyone here or person you know had already achieved it? Being a freelancer can really make that amount or higher, there are available jobs online that you will be paid for as low as half a million per project. And the experience you will gain is very much important and can help you in the future.

With OPs plan to just dedicate two hours a day, it is highly unlikely that he will achieve his goal to earn even one bitcoin in one month. That is laziness IMO, or if not, he has no time to work on it and his goal is not achievable because of that.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: March 27, 2017, 01:02:53 AM
To gamble and to Invest are both risky. And of course I would rather go for Invesstment, because I like to invest in trading it is really mean profitable to me  if your just able to do it right. while in gambling most of the time players in the end fall in losses of money which is not actually good.
i do not think that gambling is risky because i also earn profit through gambling in good amount in short time if you are expert in gambling then you will never face to risk or you will never loss your bitcoin.

IMO, gambling is riskier compared to investment. Though both is unpredictable, it is better to just invest, atleast with it, you'll know the danger you are facing and you can do a research first before investing. While in gambling, you can't do that, you may have a research, becoming an expert, but all of it is nothing in gambling. You'll still end up losing.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 27, 2017, 12:45:03 AM
Im storing them into my bitcoin wallet for the price to increase then sold them all at once earning funds to make a good profit in the end is the best feeling at all and buy the item you want for this year. i always reach my goal setting aim is one of my favorite and not letting them to become my dream.

When I gamble, that's what I do mostly with what I win. I keep it and wait til I have a plan on what to do with it. Bitcoin is not my main income and most of my earning here, whether it is from gambling and others always go to my wallet.

It is common thing to do, but it is different to those people who makes bitcoin and gambling their bread and butter source.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: March 22, 2017, 02:08:49 AM
I gamble for the entertainment. You can't go in expecting to win.. If you do, you're going to have many, many bad days. Not to mention the free perks that come along with the gambling are pretty sweet. I'll take $50 and go to a casino and enjoy free drinks the whole time and by the time it's all over with, if I lose, then i'm not down much considering the free drinks/food I got out of the deal. It's not much loss when you factor in how much all of that would have costed me anyways

That's true, you may say that you didn't lose because of that, but, we can't deny the fact that we lose time. If it is for entertainment, and want that kind of perk, we could go to food parks with eat all you can, or those events that offers  unlimited beer, concerts with free, with that, we got a lot of entertainment and we meet new people. Not to mention that we got something free out of it.

I go for profit when I gamble, I am not aiming to lose, but to win.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 22, 2017, 01:54:06 AM
I think is not wrong but if you are gambling with the money that you cannot afford to loose.
On the other hand if you are gambling with money which you have to use somewhere then i would say it's wrong to gamble with that money.

Well, in any way you look at it, the result is what matters most. If you lose, then it's wrong, if you win, then that's better. Unfortunately, winning in gambling is not that easy and things go wrong along the way, with that said, the best thing to do is to just gamble few times and when you win, stop.

With regards to OP's question,in gambling, its more losses than being beneficial.
