21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: April 04, 2018, 05:05:03 AM
Money can buy those material things and can make you happy for the  mean time but we cannot buy our own happiness, we do have our own feelings that we cannot trade for money.

Consider spending money for the good of those you love the most. If they are happy because of that money, does it make you happy too? If it doesn't make you feel happy then something is wrong with you.

You can use your money to attract new friends, not by bribing them but by sharing things to them. Though, some are hypocrite, as if they are not using money everyday and when they use it, it makes them happy too.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 02:51:48 AM
Well at this very moment due to the current condition of the crypto market which is really bleeding out which resulted to many of the crypto currencies market values going down and that also includes bitcoins market values as well so I think I would not buy any bitcoin as of now because its market values is very risky and you will probably end up losing all that you had invested in bitcoin so better invest it into other deserving altcoins or crypto currencies out there.

One thing that you should think about is, if you won't buy bitcoin now, when will you start holding? days will pass and you are left behind because you are too afraid to risk, thinking that bitcoin is losing its value. If everyone would think like that, then you will end up without experiencing what bitcoin is.

The downtrend in price is normal, as we already see it years ago, it's just a cycle, sooner or later it will go up, then go down again and then repeat the cycle. Price movement shouldn't be your basis in holding a bitcoin. If you are into long term holding, then its price in dollar should not be your interest in holding.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Will future paper money disappear? on: April 03, 2018, 08:53:00 AM
I do not think so . Paper money is needed to spend small payments in our daily lives. may be limited, but can not disappear. so that it can disappear, the technology of mankind must have breakthroughs and now I have not seen it.

Actually if paper money would disappear, the coins will be the first one and then soon the paper money. But it will take time, not just few years but probably more than ten years. When the leaders can't think of anything to replace the materials they use to create paper money.

Sooner or later what we are going to use is ATM (debit and credit cards) and probably cryptocurrency ATM cards.
24  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Main Cause of accidents/road safety on: April 03, 2018, 08:26:41 AM
Drivers with no discipline, drunk driving, poor road condition, poor vehicle condition. Those are the most common that I see in where I am today. Most of drivers lack discipline while driving on the highway. There are also drunk people who are driving and bumping into other cars/vehicles too. I've been travelling from time to time and I've seen some highways that are poorly maintained, and mostly no road signs.

Just this past holy week there is this bus who fall with too many fatality. I believe that it is poorly maintained  bus, it was also an older model bus.
25  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: April 03, 2018, 07:43:46 AM
Mostly the unemployment factors and the political instability, because most of the people are now are into education, like in our country philippines most of us are force to go abroad because the percentage of employment increasingly grows every year.. while corruption in the government through overpricing of the projects and involving them in narcotics...

No my friend, it's not unemployment, it's a job mismatch. People tend to look for job not suitable for them or not under the course they've taken. There are plenty of jot offering, too bad that some doesn't have the qualification.

It is not also the corruption, since it is present in every country and not just the Philippines.

In my opinion, it's the "laziness" of the people that makes them hungry. Some are contented with what they do everyday to earn (routine). Some also look for courses during college that are trending(uso). Not thinking that they have to finish it in four years, and in that four years, plenty of changes, including the most in demand jobs.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: April 03, 2018, 07:23:20 AM
The effects of gambling very well, especially for the young child the generations of one of them is the young boy who was very easy affected by the surrounding environment and of them, then if they know gambling and play gambling at a young age it will be very easy to those affected and addiction gambling it will be ruined their future

We are going topic here. Anyway, with regards to children, it is their parent's responsibility to keep them away from gambling or anything that could give them idea on what is gambling.Though it is impossible, still they should try.

Actually the impact of those who learn gambling in early age is when they are at their maturity and with family. For sure they will have a hard time maintaining their family and finances. Then they will be a burden to their family/parents and they will blame their parents for that. In the end the parents are still the culprit.

Back to the topic, as I've said, the bad side/effect of gambling weighs greater than good, with that said, you should do gambling in moderation or not at all.
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How deal with bullies at work? on: April 03, 2018, 07:05:35 AM
If you are a guy then fight back and show them that they are messing with the wrong person and you are not weak because bullies only targets you if they know you are a weak person.

Come on, it just show your immaturity, you are just exposing yourself for them to attack you more and you doing it over and over again and giving them more reason to fight you legally and you end up in jail or suspended/ejected from your job.

Actually, you just have to ride with them. In the end they will stop since they cannot find anything that could satisfy them from bullying you.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: April 03, 2018, 06:43:38 AM
First and foremost, before you came to that point, there is always a reason. Now,that's where you need to start to solve it. Why did you borrow too much money that you know you can't pay? Is it for emergency or just for your caprice? If it is for emergency, those whom you owe money will understand and you have the very good reason to rise and find each and every way to pay them, if it is for caprice, deal with it. suffer the consequence, be it jail time, hunger or anything just to pay them.

If you have to pay in installment, then you need something that produce money at the same time for you. You need to put up a business and pay them slowly. To start with, you have to risk borrowing money from loan sharks since it is easier to borrow from them, then you roll everything over and over again until you pay your debts.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is education must-have nowdays? on: April 03, 2018, 06:23:28 AM
OP, if you don't need education, then probably you have to stay in the jungle. We need it these days, since it is your only tool( no more jungle to hunt for lions or any other exotic forest creatures )

With regards to helping, actually you don't need education, but the thing is, how would you help people who needs medical attention, you'll make things worst than better if you would just speculate.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: April 03, 2018, 05:10:20 AM
Gambling is illegal in my country but thanks to cryptos which has made gambling very easier as I can easily gamble from home and even people around me wouldn't be aware about it that I am making money from gambling and that is the best thing I like about bitcoins that it allows you to keep your identity intact.

Can you tell us where you are right now? If they can't find you now, I believe that sooner or later they will. The government has the resources that they could use to track each gambler or online gambler.

If gambling is illegal, why would I gamble? Come to think of it, how much you will be losing when you are in jail. What if there are plenty opportunities for you if you are not in jail or you are not in the block list because you are a gambler?
31  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To travel is to live on: April 03, 2018, 04:35:56 AM
"Travelling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a story teller" a famous quote.
the world is book and those who do not travel read only one page. What you people think about traveling is worthy for life or not?
i am in love with travelling because in the end we only regret the chances we didn't take.

I agree! Travelling cant make you happy, because of the place you see, how beautiful the place is Smiley
I also wants to travel in many places that has a beautiful scenery, and also has a good background for instagram photos Cheesy
Travelling can also stress you out, by scaping all your work and also problems Smiley

No, travelling won't stress you just because you leave your work. What will stress you is your budget. For sure it will deplete your resources if you only have enough money and extra spending like this for sure will hurt you.

If you really want to travel, then save your bonuses, 13th, 14th and other incentives that the company is giving you. That way, you won't be worrying about travelling.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting a Gambling Game on: April 02, 2018, 10:10:59 AM
It's not bad at all. It's common, even the old folks bet on how many chicks are going to come out of the egg, or the chicks would grow a male or a female. In short nothing harm in there, unless it is habitual that you are doing it almost everyday with anyone around you or it is your way of earning money.

It's not different from betting on racing doves, or any other simple gambling that can be called a leisure by aficionados in their respective field of interest.
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If marriages can expire, will you still renew? on: April 02, 2018, 09:07:48 AM
I'm a man, and I'm not married to anyone/single. But just to express my two cents, I would only sign and renew my marriage contract if there are conditions that could benefit both of us. But if it is just to renew the bout, then no way. It is just another years of hell if you are married to a nagging wife with nothing to do with her life the whole day than just cutting her nails. If she is beautiful, like an actress, then it's fine to me.

In what I am seeing right now, if everyone can renew their marriage, I think too many couples are now separated.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: April 02, 2018, 08:41:29 AM
Don't reject that Job, Job is a big opportunity for everyone. You may Accept the job and do crypto too when you get enough time. My brother is a banker and he is doing crypto trading too! And, Now, He is my inspiration  Grin

Good Luck, Sir.

Real life job is a long term opportunity while earning in this forum( if it is what OP means ) is not for a long time. As you can see, it is now slowly fading. Probably a little more update with the forum rules, most of the spammers will be gone.

I believe in earning cryptocurrency, but it doesn't mean that I would go full time in this and leave my job which gives me steady income.
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to stop smoking? on: April 02, 2018, 08:03:32 AM
I asked my friends about that matter. They all says mindbover matter.

Did you ask them if they accomplish their goal to stop smoking? If not, then they are not telling you everything. I suggest you ask them what are the steps they follow.

Its a matter of decision on how you stop from smoking, there so many ways to stop if you are willing to stop, but if not you will not succeed in stopping this kind of habbit, because you are already addicted.

Most of the time, yes, but some still need a proof that it is bad for their health. They will wait until one of their lungs is gone, or for the other parts of the body to give up because of it.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: April 02, 2018, 07:30:58 AM
I think yes, it was really bad. If the whole world using electric car then the sale of oil will decline and oil industry wil reduce. But don't worry cause many of industry still need oil.

Cars are not the only machine that consume fuels. Generators, and power plants are also using them. Though even with those other machines using fuel, fuel consumption would still decline.

It is also possible that price will start to drop since there will be smaller demand. Besides, it is also good for the environment.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: April 02, 2018, 07:03:30 AM
I wish happiness could be purchased by money; then, I'd steal a couple of millions and stay happy. Sad truth - happiness is not constant, it comes and goes.

But still it made you happy right? Nowadays, it's not easy to be happy when you don't have money. Almost everything that could make you happy can be bought (if you are a loner).

If you want to be happy without money then I think it's time to leave your job, stay in the jungle along with people who survive because they are stretching their muscles to catch their food and they are away from civilization, then probably money is not important to them.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: April 02, 2018, 06:35:16 AM
Yes I do,but sometimes i can't stop my self to continue betting as long as i win.It hard to stop it.I don't know why but it feels me not contented that's why i cannot limit myself.I want to full fill my eagerness to continue betting.

It's only good to continue when your winning is also on the run and on your side. But if it is not, well think wisely.

In my experience, I do limit myself by just spending a small amount/limit each bet and each time I am in the gambling site. That's my barometer. If it's gone then time to log out, and if it is still winning, then lets continue the game. Aside from that, I consider the time. If it's already late at night, then it's time to stop, regardless if I am winning.
39  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fake Friends on: April 02, 2018, 06:08:50 AM
OP is to idealistic. That's normal in life, everything and every one come and go, and probably you are expecting something from them because you've done good to them.

In my experience, I don't have too many friends, no close friends except my brothers. It makes my life simple, no more spending too much because of peer pressure, no more late night gigs, no more drinking too much and best of all, no headache.

As we grow up, we should think about our stability and stop being dependent to anyone who could help us (friends and siblings). Trust me, it makes my life easier that way than having too many friends.
40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What makes people worry the most? on: April 02, 2018, 05:33:38 AM
If you are not worrying about anything, then you are not normal. You may want to join those stupid people in the streets.

Most of the time, I worry about going back to the life I have many years ago. Too little money to spend, and of course no one wants to help a bastard who has nothing. So my goal now is to maintain my statute in life, not poor and not rich, just have a simple life and a job.

Aside from that I worry too much about health, I worry about my weight when I gain one pound in a month, so I have to work it out to stay in my ideal weight.
