701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 01, 2017, 06:28:35 AM
experience at poker games is very important but at dice games roulette lottery is not need an experience
because that games is only need big lucky, exoerience is also needed but lucky is more important
yes just like many people says experience not really matter in gambling but sometimes experience also necessary to playing cards such as poker and for me currently experience only small part from my gambling activities because it doesn't working good always to my gambling results

Experience is important if you are playing versus another player, you need to have many strategies. A experienced gambler can sometimes see what other players are planning on the game with just looking at the way they react and move their cards.

But in other gambling games/luck based games, experience does not matter as you are playing against the machine and the future of your bets depends on it.
702  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 01, 2017, 05:57:05 AM
It will not happen soon but there is of course a chance that it will be possible because you also see that Bitcoin is getting more used and more acceptable so that is nice

I think that's not a criteria on why bitcoin would replace dollar.  Smiley

Governments don't want something that is uncontrollable. It's either they kill it or acquire it. Same as in bitcoin, It will only replace dollar if it is under the  control of the government, probably a centralized one.  Smiley
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: March 01, 2017, 02:18:31 AM
In my communit where gambling is not accepted, I will be shameful for being a gambler since it is the virtue enculated to us.  Gambling is a sin and we should not gamble or play gambling games in any Casino or establishment that promotes gambling.  I do not want to be the center of the negative talk in the community and be shamed .

Since you are in a community where gambling is an issue when you play it, I recommend you do not play gambling. It will be shameful if they caught you and mock you in front of many or if not you are jailed because of that.

But since the world is not the same, in other places gambling isn't prohibited and I think it's just fine to gamble as long as you are in the right place and age.
704  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: March 01, 2017, 02:05:13 AM
People nowadays keep on staring on their smartphones, lying on their bed watching or streaming movies and browsing any stuffs on the web. People are inactive in a way they don't spend their day productive. This is mostly a well known negative effect of technology. Technology promotes obesity since people are not physically active. I know we are entertained with this technology stuffs, it kills time fast. But we must not forget about our health.

That's normal nowadays, unlike those days where old people in the morning when they wake up, they are already holding a broom or cooking something for breakfast, that is why they are healthier, families of today, in the morning, we are already busy checking emails and worst just browsing around facebook.

I think we should buy gadgets that are only useful to us like mobile phone and a laptop and practice discipline.
705  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 01, 2017, 01:15:39 AM
Maybe it is one of there strategy to make the community get panic on it, or they like bitcoin price will drop into below 900$, But I'm not sure about it,  or maybe they are totally lack of knowledge in bitcoin only.

Both reasons are the same and valid. Usually those stronger ones wants to shake those with weak hands.  It's all about money making, the more holders panic, the merrier the traders will be.

Lack of knowledge is applicable only to those who are on their early stage of acquiring bitcoin, they panic a lot when they see the price rapidly moves, and forgot to search for the reason why it happens.
706  Other / Politics & Society / Re: German hostage beheaded by Abu Sayyaf militants in Philippines on: February 28, 2017, 01:57:30 PM
This is a very sad news and my heart goes out to the german victim's family. These bandits have been doing this for a long time blemishing this beautiful country's tourism. I don't think this group would be worth any peace talks as they're pure evil bent on sowing fear and terror among foreigners and locals alike. They're on an ISIS level if you ask me and i think the philippine government should make it one of the top priorities to put an end to these people's reign of terror. I don't think diplomacy will work for them anymore.
Germany is a country which is in Europe fighting for the rights and the reception of migrants. It seems to me that someone is interested in how to disrupt this process. Muslims created the problem of refugees and are now trying to rekindle Europe's fascist sentiment. I am sure that Muslims are guided from outside. It's probably Russia.

It's been a long time now that this problem is existing here in the Philippines and it has nothing to do with other country's problem. What I mean is, there are lots of other nationalities here being kidnapped by those terrorists and they always asks for ransom, and some locals are not an exception in those kidnappings. They usually behead those if their demands are not given.

Whats the president of the Philiipians doing about this, Duterte should hunt and kill them the same way he does the drug addicts and sellers. This brings total shame and will in some way hurt tourism revenues.

It is a shame to the international community, but as usual, he would just say "S**t the Fnck up".
707  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How hard is it really to make money on: February 28, 2017, 12:53:50 PM
It's not so hard, I think if you would dedicate a time on learning how to earn bitcoin, it would take a long time.

but if you would just go with the flow, you learn while you earn,  it won't take long. However, with that way, your earning would mean that it would start from the smallest and until you learn a lot and same as your earning, you'll earn bigger.  Smiley
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we encourage anyone to develop self control in order to minimize gambling? on: February 28, 2017, 12:17:34 PM
Unfortunately, you can't  do that when your friend is attached to gambling, though you can try, but I doubt that they would listen. They would only listen to you if they are losing too much and there is nothing in their wallet to fund their bankroll.

You should find what he loves to do the most when your friend is not busy betting.  Smiley
709  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 28, 2017, 12:05:31 PM
Saving is always good. Some money should be used for living, some for investments and at least 1/3 for saving.
Without savings, life is very very risky..

If you have difficulty in making great money, it's better to save it specially if you are not sure on investments that you are about to try. When it comes to savings, I still prefer saving most that was left from my salary and only put out few for investments.

It's too risky to invest, and the return is not that sure if you are not familiar of the business that you are entering.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: February 28, 2017, 08:17:49 AM
I don't believe in Fiat. I will believing in Crypto-Currency because crypto-currency has more potential to earn than the fiat. Why? Because if Crypto-Currency will success my money will double or triple by just waiting it few years or few months only. In Fiat you will earn but not too much because Fiat price is stable.

No one objects to that.  Smiley

But to be honest, I would still believe in fiat today and until the day that our future in bitcoin is not yet secure, as long as we can't live with bitcoin alone as a currency, I will still doubt bitcoin and I will always be after the safety of my future.  Smiley
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: February 28, 2017, 07:54:01 AM
Gambling could help you go bankrupt.  Grin If you are really lucky you could win a jackpot other than that i do not see any significant help that can be done with the help of gambling. I could spend some time and pennies in gambling site but that does not mean that i am gaining or expecting anything .

I myself couldn't see any reason on how gambling could make a man smarter.  Smiley

I could only see gambling becoming helpful when a gambler wins and what he wins comes to use. But in reality, gambling isn't like that, you don't always win, so I don't see it becoming a help when we are in need.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: February 28, 2017, 07:12:51 AM
Definitely, everyone can use bitcoin even ordinary citizens as long they acquired proper knowledge on how to use it. Even they have limited knowledge about technology they can easily use bitcoin with proper guidance. Thus, many people here in my country can easily adopt the use of technology even bitcoin too.

All man has the ability to adopt to the situation, when they see that something is happening and everyone else is learning it, they will do the same, just like how we learn those things that are trending in the community. Sooner or later we learn it thru watching them, asking and being thought about it.

Same as in bitcoin, ordinary people can learn how to use it when they see that everyone else is using it.
Not all man for sure, bitcoin does not pass on to the comprehension of all people, there are people who lives under poverty and they are not educated enough to understand bitcoin. In addition, even if they understand and still they are under poverty, there focus would be different and not to transact, invest, or whatsoever. Let's accept the fact that the massive adoption that we are hoping will not be big as what we are expecting.

Disregarding those situations in life as it is different and it is not what OP wants to know, he asks if :

Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers?

With that, I am certain that he is not asking about those street dwellers or those who are in the poverty line. He is talking about those that are not in the same line as most of us, and not the totality.

714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 28, 2017, 06:49:07 AM
I don’t think I know of a person who has become rich from gambling alone, but I know some who have become really poor because they got addicted to gambling. The chances of the latter happening is higher than the multiplying your wealth by way of gambling because it is really hard to maintain a winning streak when it comes to these kinds of stuff. You might get lucky for a while, but sooner or later, the law of averages is going to catch up on you and in most cases, you find yourself in the losing end.

If a gambler by luck become rich, they don't tell it to others, but rather we could notice it as most of them showed what they got by buying things for themselves. I my self haven't seen people who really made it out of gambling. I've seen one who win a lot and then in the end, he lost it all, and all he told me is that the "winning is not for him, and someone else might be needing that money".  Smiley
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 28, 2017, 05:37:55 AM
It's either you win big and decide to quit completely or you stay off and think that you've given the monies you've lost to charity and never venture anything gambling and I must say the latter takes a lot of discipline.

I dont think that I will be quitting if I did win big with gambling, I won a lot so I will be coming back for more, that is how people nowadays do it. Better to start avoiding it as what the doctors say, prevention is better that cure.

yeah right, after a big win from gambling, I do not think that someone will stop. Precisely, what will happen instead he will more often gamble because it has substantial capital to play. If he can not control himself, he could have been spending money that he could, and probably stopped because it was out of money.

The goal is to quit gambling for good, so I think, we could disregard the point where we win and lose. With that said, I think being logical, and practical, lets think about our gambling habit, is it going to have a future or not? If we answer that, I am sure we already have reason to start with.

Thinking about what we will do on our gambling to minimize losses or to be in control would just make us stay longer.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 28, 2017, 05:09:08 AM
It will tempt a person to bet more amount when he/she luckily won in the gambling game but he has no satisfaction with his winnings. They will find more time to bet and that will make him addicted if the activity becomes habitual and extremely uncontrolled. He always think of winning for more amount and expected for more eventhough risk of lossing profit is always a part of the game.

Man has no satisfaction, that is why when we gamble, we will bet more and more even if they are losing and even in winning, in fact, we tend to lose more when we are winning, because we become greedy and become uncontrollable when we feel like we are lucky with our bets.

Fun has nothing to do with addiction, winning and losing has.
I believe fun could be part of the addiction because if you are having fun, you always want to do it. Addiction does not automatically mean that you are in the losing side, although most gamblers who are addicted are losing their money but I can consider this people who are winning most of the time due to their exposure in gambling. With that said, I guess it will always depend on how people would using his urge to gamble.

Fun is just the result and not the cause on why a gambler become a gambler. I live in the place where many are gambler, and they are not doing it for fun, they mean business when you play with them. They only say they have fun when they are done.

I have friends who are gamblers too, and when I ask them what they got in gambling, it's not the fun, their reason is they are winning money out of it.

718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: February 28, 2017, 02:14:37 AM
Gambling is no sickness, it's actually a therapy for the poor and people in financial crisis but if you gamble just in luck and with all your bankroll then it might get you sick because just like every trade you must learn the basic rudiments of gambling before you start.

I don't look at it as a therapy for those who are poor and has a problem in money making, in fact, it could even bring you more problem when in the later part you lose most of your penny in it and those who are trusting you for their next meal are waiting.

Though I don't look at gambling as a sickness, I found it as madness for those people who can't even afford to buy a food and yet gambles like there is no tomorrow, and sometimes lurk around on gambling site when they don't bet, why not just move their asses and find a job?

Gambling is for those who don't have problem in money.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: February 28, 2017, 01:52:03 AM
because they saw a greater opportunity when utilizing bitcoin than fiat. well, maybe they are not so big salary, and bitcoin pay them more than the salary they get, so as to make them think that bitcoin will be better than fiat.

OP said that he is hurt by the way how bitcoin was used by many in their malicious activities. He doesn't asked if it is a good way to earn compared to anyone's salary.

Anyway, it's part of a thing that has value, it is being used as tool to be used either in good and bad. We have nothing to do about it. The only way we could help is to not doing what those crooks are doing with their bitcoin.
720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: February 27, 2017, 07:44:20 AM
Best president that we have. Now Im proud to be Filipino.
I hope someday all medicines are free for all who needs it not only for poor families but for all patients who need it for their treatments and maintenance.

Good for you, as for me, I am disappointed, though I did not vote him as President, I am still disappointed. Today we can see the killing of drug addicts, suspected and innocents, now the illegal gamblers, next will be the alcoholics and soon anyone who comes his way.

It's more like his next move will be killing the rights of those who oppose him, that is not democracy anymore.
