1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: big red flag! - very carefull when trading on IDEX on: October 31, 2018, 02:41:45 PM
I was trading in IDEX since six months, i never faced any issue.

You did not face any problem because you are lucky enough or because you were not the chosen one, but other peoples did not feel the same thing.
talking about shady exchange, i just remembered Poloniex. a lot of people were angry because they did a lot of shady thing just like unclosed margin, withdrawal issue and many more.
but some people were defending it because they were fine with it, but now ? everything is revealed and users moved out of that exchange
in the end, there is no fire without smoke.

always see the thing from two different view.

1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inactive dead coins awareness on: October 31, 2018, 02:11:39 PM
this is a very useful website and it's always on my bookmarks. It's very important to check if a coin is dead or a project is inactive before investing otherwise you risk to have a coin that you can't sell anymore and worth nothing.

how about you go to coinmarketcap ? you can find this kind of information on their marketcap- top 100 coins/marketcap- top 100 tokens
to be honest it is not really hard to figure this out, as long as you are not that lazy enough to do some research.

plus, only a fools or greedy newbies that will fall for this kind of trick.
how can you spend your money into something that you do not know or something that is expensive without knowing it ?
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling signal for ETH. on: October 31, 2018, 02:06:48 PM
It depends on your capability, can you hold it at least for 1 year or even more than that ? if you can hold it for that long, why not !?
currently we are in capitulation, if you were here for more than 4 years you should have know this.
it was not the first time we are facing this kind of situation, if you looked back in 2014~2015 we were facing the same thing.
the market was extremely bearish because of capitulation and Mt.Gox exit scam, but afterward ? it changed.

there is no mistake if you have a strategy, think smart and be calm.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Determining A ShitCoin on: October 31, 2018, 12:04:24 PM
whitepaper and team profile are the most basic thing that every project must have and it can not be considered as a vital point for us to determine whether it is scam/shit project or not. but if you find out some project that do not have both of it, you could say that they are scam or at least they are shitcoin directly(no doubt).
and the most important thing that we as an investor should ask them is their MVP aka early product,
what makes something useful or valuable is not its price but instead its usability, if they have a working product that means they have something to do with their project.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on the Ethereum Blockchain? on: October 31, 2018, 11:49:04 AM
The idea is quite intriguing and interesting. Wrapping Bitcoin on the platform of Etherium blockchain is indeed something that the world have not expected to see. What this is going to turn into, and how much appreciation will it recieve is the real question.

This is not interesting at all, i have seen this before for example eBTC and many others.
what they wanted to do is creating a project that could pump ETH price or the project itself by using Bitcoin name, while it was pure bullshit.
it is all about hype and the brand itself,
logically speaking if it is tied with Bitcoin in term of price while it uses ETH network as its base, does not that mean ETH's price should have a relation with it ? because it is working on ETH network.

1146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange listing strategy on: October 30, 2018, 12:09:17 PM
After completing an ICO one of the next major agenda for a project is listing. The first listing.
There are dexs that would just your project for free and without permission, and for bigger exchanges you would likely have to pay a fee to get  listed and little extra for publicity.
How important is the first listing?
Most investors pressure the team to get listed on a big exchange to kick things off, and avoid the DEXS which they claim, kills off tokens.
I disagree with that, a good product would sell anywhere and people would not mind diving in the mud to pull out gold. And if it does dump, it is down to a lot of factors, and not just the exchange it was trading on.
I personally like a small listing to build volume before bigger exchanges are contracted, it equally gives investors options, as not everyone likes to trade on centralized exchanges.

I was actually thinking this yesterday, the import of first listing on a coin and I thought to create a topic about it, and in my usual style, I searched first to see if the topic has been discussed before, so I found this. Trends have shown that the calibre of exchange a project first lists it's coin has to a large extent on huge impact on it and how fast the demand will spread. Legends have shown that listing first on bigger exchanges with significant daily volume has a great impact on the token.

Of course it affects the project, it is not about the volume alone but it is all about their capability bringing their project into another stage.
if they can afford to list it on i.e Bittrex after ICO, it explains that they are ready and their project can be considered as a good one in term of technology, mission, vision and community.
in the end, first listing is the most important thing that they need to do. because it helps the project greatly
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴[ICO]🔴🔴 MonsterBit - Ready project on: October 30, 2018, 10:06:40 AM
can you guys tell me what is going on exactly ?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5059689.0 [Monsterbit Bounty].

as far as i know, you guys ran an ICO a month or two months ago and it's already done, right ? then why did you guys do that again right now?
based on your website, here;

1148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will die at 2027 on: October 30, 2018, 08:41:26 AM
Hey, guys. This year I became seriously interested in quantum computers. I came across here a study of Australian and Singaporean scientists about the security of Bitcoin: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1710.10377v1.pdf There are a lot of figures and formulas in the report, I haven't understood everything, but the main idea I've caught is that if Bitcoin doesn't implement post-quantum algorithms, it won't survive until 2027.
Currently, I'm thinking hard about how I could minimize the risks - all of the sudden, it may be true about quantum computers. What do you think, guys?
Maybe, there are already some projects that make a crypto with post-quantum protection? I think it should be implemented in Bitcoin blockchain
There is no logic behind bitcoin dying. There is no reason for it to die, I understand some people bought bitcoin during its peak times at around $20k and now they lost a lot of money because of it and some even got out and just took the loss and those same people really wish the bitcoin would die off so they could say they got out at least before it died. That is the only possible reaction that makes sense, if you lost money on something you want it to go even further down so you can say you got out early and didn't lost all your money but some of it however if it goes up and makes all of us profit than that person sold early and should have waited so he could profit, he didn't which would upset him.

It is the human nature, you want the best option for your future to happen, that is all.

Of course there is a logic behind it, based on the news that we heard about something so called 'quantum computing' so far. if it is kicking in or running in the future, it almost can brute force anything. which means, it is totally unsafe for them who own cryptocurrency.
and because of that cryptocurrency will be dead, but of course let's talk about it after it is running. but i doubt it will happen in 2027 because a lot of people talked about this many years ago, and so far i hear nothing about it except the rumours.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where and how best to invest? on: October 30, 2018, 08:19:10 AM
if you are still looking for something right now, top 100 cryptocurrency is a good choice for you right now.
everything is undervalued and oversold right now and most of them are starting to make a breakout right now, just like Wanchain if you ever heard this project before.
currently it is trying to break 0.00017 level, even after the dump that happened with Bitcoin yesterday it keeps moving up and keep trying to break that level and make a new support around that.

no risk no gain, i believe it is worth to take the risk.

1150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stability the shortest way to public adoptions. on: October 30, 2018, 07:30:10 AM
For bitcoin to be used as a store of value and a medium of exchanging for goods and services, It must be stable like others currencies.

What stability? What "other" currencies? Fiat currencies? Fiat is the worst store of value.

This is the purchasing power of the U.S. Dollar from 1913 to 2013, and it is contantly sinking.

Give me Bitcoin, or give me death. Cool

i believe he was talking about other currencies aka fiat like USD,JPY,CNY and many more.
also, that 'thing' is much more stable compared to Bitcoin if we are looking at its history.
USD lost 96% its power in 2013 from 1913, but it needed 90 years to do that while Bitcoin only need a few months. that means USD is much more 'stable' compared to Bitcoin.

1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Loaning 5000 $ to trade with them ! :o on: October 30, 2018, 07:02:32 AM
The market is falling down right now so i think to loan 5000 $ witch i don't have it.. i lo1n it when ether is 200 $ and i sell when ether will be 1000 $ or a little more to get 25000 $ waaw it's verry attractive .. please with experience help me with your oppinion !  (i know it's risky but ther's no great thing with no risk ) .. thnx
this is killing me, could not stop laughing.
seriously, did you really call that strategy ? i mean, nobody knows when will ETH or any cryptocurrency hit its peak again in the future.
and if you are taking the loan, how can you pay the interest that will come after you when you pick that shit ? market does not show any significant move and it is very unlikely to happen.
that means the price won't get pumped and your money will not increase, but your debt keep moving up.
think about it twice before taking this step, it is dangerous.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW ANN]🚀🚀🚀🔥[ICO] 🔥SPECTRIUM🚀Whitepaper release!🚀 on: October 24, 2018, 10:32:17 AM
so called revolution in social media and travelling do not require that much of money, then why did you put $36.000.000 million as your hardcap and $6.000.000 million as your softcap.
does it really make a sense to you ? for me it does not.
beside that, your website does not have SSL, high ICO target with 3 peoples behind this project, and low quality of whitepaper.
what is more ?
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIERRA]🌞SIERRACOIN - SOLAR POWER MINING [Available on exchanges!] on: October 24, 2018, 08:11:39 AM
Now we have some test solar powers in Australia Sydney, and we are negotiating with the governments of several countries about the placement of solar powers on their territory.

There closed beta-test our own algorithm SPOW is going on.

So, follow updates and stay in touch!  Wink

How about you provide us some proof of negotiation with the governments on that area ? not gonna lie, but it is like you are trying to bluff us with your words.
placement of solar powers/system in their territory is not a small matter and it needs a lot of thing that you need to do such as legalization, territorial and many more.
i tried to find out whether it is real or not on internet and looking for something from medias, but so far i see nothing.
not sure what kind of 'sydney' are you talking about

1154  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high do you think Bitcoin will go on the next bull run? on: October 24, 2018, 04:00:25 AM

I think the people who just bought Bitcoin in December won't be likely to buy in anytime soon, but how about everyone else who has Bitcoin and better understands Bitcoin's price cycles, and how about the far far larger amount of money from people and Wall St that will be itching to get into Bitcoin before the next bull run starts or after they see that it has started. The people who got recked by Bitcoin by buying in December only represent a tiny amount of the money that will flow into Bitcoin in the next couple years.

Governments are allowing it. Bitcoin is about to hit Wall St before the end of this year with BAKKT. Governments will absolutely not do anything to harm a new asset class that promises to gain more wealth for the wealthy.

I feel like you haven't been paying attention. $100k I think is a conservative bet for the next peak. I think Wall St alone could raise the price by $100k the next two years. $100k is my target for the next peak, but I think it could very well briefly get in the $150k - $200k range before crashing the way last year $10k was the big target and then it briefly shot up to $20k in the ensuing euphoria. Expect something like that to happen again when it hits $100k in 2020.

Small amount of money in December ? i do not think so mate, as far as i remembered our total Market Cap in December~January was around $700~$800 Billions and currently we are sitting at $200 Billions, the difference is 'big' and it is not a small amount of money i believe.
most of them came from small investor(got rekted the most too) while an institutional investor reaped a lot of benefit from that run, as you said. everyone else has a better understanding about Bitcoin's price after they witnessed that euphoria. Bitcoin will absolutely get pumped in the future, but it does not mean we can go directly to $100.000 in a single move just like what you are hoping for.

if we got $800 Billions in our total market cap when we were sitting at $20.000 a few months ago, how far it will be when we are sitting at $100.000 ? approximately it won't less than $5 Trillions or even higher than that. and it is not a small feat to do that, we might see it $100.000 but it needs a time and we can not expect it in 2020.
and the most important thing that we need to consider is, people capability to buy it.
1155  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN]PEEPCOIN - PEEPMASTERNODE ⚡️[20 : 1 SWAP][MASTERNODES] PCN swap to PMN! 🚀 on: October 24, 2018, 03:06:12 AM

WARNING

This Project is being marketed as a "Peepcoin Revival" But has nothing at all to do with PeepCoin at all.

It is not a masternode for PeepCoin at all!! It is a separate project all together like DAPS was!!

The PCN you swap gets sold and used to fund this project.

This team is not transparent and has absoloutly nothing to do with the true "PXN Foundation" that has stabilised PCN and will continue to manage and maintain PCN.

You Decide.

hhhmm....
I ever heard about DAPS though, and honestly speaking PCN's price was pumped for more than 10x because of it and then i never heard anything about the project again after that pump.
based on your words, this project will do the same thing like what DAPS did a while ago ? collecting the money that they got from swap and selling it on the market ?
or pushing the price before the swap and selling it on the market when it gets pump ?
this project should have a clear information regarding their team profile , we are tired of this kind of scheme. not sure whether it is same or not
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LET'S TALK ABOUT "SLEEPING GIANTS" FOR 2019 on: October 24, 2018, 02:56:43 AM
Hello guys. Let's talk about your thoughts on "not so popular" Altcoins and their potential for next year. I personally have been giving Zilliqa and Cardano a lot of thought, believing they could be great coins in the near future.

yes, i agree with you about cardano,,
this coin will be huge in 2019,, a lot of features will be release in the next year,,
also i think about tron(trx)

Since when top cryptocurrency becomes 'not so popular' ? how could it was ranked at 9 if nobody knows about it at all ? dude, Cardano is a well known project even some people compared it as ETH competitor just like they did to EOS and any other top cryptocurrency.
alright, try to do some little research about Ravencoin, Stratis, Steem(usually it gets pumped so hard) and Mothership.

That is some of my watchlist and i believe they have a potential in 2019 or later
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Greedy Bounty Managers on: October 24, 2018, 02:43:40 AM
To all greedy bounty managers this message is for you. You know we, bounty hunters, have allocated our time and effort to do our tasks in exchange for rewards. We have done our job so we have right to receive our salary. Why are you so greedy? You wanna become rich fast? And then what? You have all the money in this world and then what? Money is not everything.

I actually dont get it.. If you are targetting a bounty manager, come all out on it. Dont just blame every manager for the suffering you got from 1 or few managers.
we have seen amazing bounty managers in the forum and due to them bounty hunters still have a job to do. If you are scammed by some bounty manager, best thing is to report them in the meta thread along with proofs. Put negative trust so other people dont get scammed. shooting arrows in thin air would not help anyone.

That is why he uses an adjective GREEDY to exclude the GOOD bounty managers from his rant. BUt I like the idea of reporting those greedy bounty managers with proofs of course because you cant just file cases to the police without evidence.

Using 'GREEDY' word does not make it right, Greed is part of human and everybody has it.
If you were working on something and expecting the result from your work but they did not give it to you after you did your work, that means they were stealing your money or a thieft.
also before joining that work, people should do something called 'research'. looking at the project itself, the manager and everything else.
i found a lot of project that was created just for money and after the sales completed, they ran away.

if you could not find an evidance, how could you say them 'GREEDY' ? that does not make any sense
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high do you think Bitcoin will go on the next bull run? on: October 23, 2018, 04:31:26 PM
Next bull run..how high?!

It also depends on how long until it starts, how the people finances will look like ...
We may have another short lived bubble up to 100k like ranges or we may have a slow and healthy growth which may not reach more than 25k.
If a new depression strikes we will be happy to stay at the current levels...

$100k ? i do not believe it.
just look at our current market right now, do you think people will do the same thing again after they got rekt a few months ago ? absolutely not, they might do the same thing again but they need a time to regain back their faith and greed. and if the trend changes, at best we will see it around $15.000 max and then consolidated.

also, the goverments won't allow it.
their citizen and investor will be in danger when the market hits that number, a lot of investor/people will lose their money.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ember: An instant and feeless cryptocurrency for the future. on: October 22, 2018, 05:25:17 AM
you should have named it as [Pre-Ann] because a lot of thing need to be done and it seems you are still trying to figure out how to make it based on your coin specification.

you and them are doing the same thing, feeless and instant payment. i ever used their network once or two, and they were doing it very good.
it was very fast and did not require any fees when i tried to send it from my wallet to another wallet.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAKE volume Fake user in SISTEMKOIN Scam Exchange on: October 22, 2018, 04:44:43 AM
Yes, many of us are aware of the fake volume exchanges. There were news of global crypto market faking $6 Billion of its daily voume. I don't know if Sistemkoin is scam or not, but thanks for the heads up.

Yes about fake volume, we could see many exchanges did that a while ago and personally, i think they did it on purporse.
they were doing it to get an attention from people, speaking about scam or not. i think it it still far from that because they did not inflict us any lose instead they were only doing a ghost trade. but of course, their image in front of community is not good either and the probability for it to get known by the community is almost 0.
