1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does the future hold? on: August 03, 2018, 04:06:09 PM
Holding is the key to be succeed here and it is the most reliable way to minimize losses and to have a good income in the future. So I recommend to you to hold.

simply holding it without doing a research to see a future is not recommended.
we need to know what is going on right now and what will happen, just like now for example.peoples are expecting ETF to get approved, that was why the price went up from before.
so if you bought that day,and simply holding it because you believe it could go higher from that point, that's totally wrong mate.
because in cryptocurrency, the biggest factor that can determine its price is manipulation.
in other word,if you do some research and understand the fact that people were hyping it before because they wanted to make a quick money.
you can minimize your losses or even make a profit from it.

for now i do not see any significant movement.
i believe this year will be the year for Bitcoin to stabilize its position, because last year it got pumped and got hyped so hard.
it is not good for its development in the future that was why it declined quite a lot, because most of its supporter was not a quality supporter/investor.
but most of them were FOMO'er.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Went Below $8000! Sell Now Before It Goes To 0! on: August 03, 2018, 03:45:20 PM
i am laughing so hard seeing this kind of thread.
not sure he was serious about it or he was trying to troll us,also it was not the first time we are seeing this kind of advice, right ?
before when Bitcoin went down from $20.000,many people said Bitcoin will go down to almost or around $10.
but in reality,it's not even close to that number.
be smart people,do not fall for it and do not panic.
it is too good to be true!

1204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: July 28, 2018, 03:36:34 PM
join a free group is not a bad idea if you want to learn something about crypto, but if you are talking about paid groups.
i am totally against it,because most of them are scammer and they are only looking for their own benefit.
just learn something from people and do not put your back completely onto them, watch them and learn from them.
also it is recommended for you to create your own strategy by looking at our current market and experts strategy.
try to learn something technical here ;
https://www.tradingview.com/ (it's totally free, and you can chat with other people regarding our current market and their analysis about it)
1205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Run of Over 500% Might Occur if Bitcoin ETF Gets Approved on: July 28, 2018, 03:32:22 PM
yeah LOL.
Bitcoin will get pumped so hard because of it and because of it too the price will be drowned into our face.
(people will complain about it when it goes down so fast, just like before)
but personally i do not think it will get approved by them, because they're still accumulating it at this moment and it's still far from the point that they can manipulate it completely.
at least it requires a few years time to accomplish such a thing.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: July 28, 2018, 03:28:36 PM
~

just for curiosity why vote for this unknow exchange?

vote for this
https://mercatox.com/coins/list?name=sem

it's not a big exchange but it is certainly more reliable

yes, mercatox is much better. Smiley their volume is not bad.

~
Voted!
Can you give me a hint of SEMUX signature campaign, please.
Has it still been joinable today?

yes but you need 10 merits..

if i have 134 merits, how many i can earn per week?

theyr volume it's ultra fake...

depends.. total  users, count of all merits... try!

talking about fake,
i heard mercatox volume is not organic,my friend said most of them were fakes.
it is for real or not ?
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: July 21, 2018, 12:54:56 PM
Binance has started a community coin round 8.  Application deadline: 2018/07/23 4:00 AM (UTC).

Dev can get us listed on Binance which will increase the value of  Semux.

https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007295712-Community-Coin-of-the-Month-Round-8
Binance charges an arm and a leg for listing a coin.

Community coin listing will be free, but dev has to register for coin round.

It would be huge if it was ever listed there. Semux needs to be on at least one decent exchange to have any suceess.

Binance would be awesome! But are there any chance at all to get there without paying a ton of money? Just wondering.

I doubt. Now Binance is a huge exchange to do charity

yes they do not add something for charity,as far as i remember.
the cheapest way to get listed on Binance was $100.000 and the highest was $1 million.
of course before get listed into it we need to pass everything like document, some question and many more.
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 700 usd to invest on: July 21, 2018, 12:52:14 PM
what make you believe and what is the reason you joined this train ?
so what if you are a newbie ? you will not lose anything right ? take your time and research everything,
as a starter i recommend you to buy and hold it on for of Bitcoin, afterward do your own research and make a conclusion based on everything that you have done.
do not chase for profit and quick money, because most people did that before and got burned terribly by their greed and people
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO for Token for 10X on: July 21, 2018, 12:40:34 PM
ETH is dying right now,so i recommend you to not buying/spending your money into it(or related to it) but instead buying an undervalued project such as Stratis,Waves and else.

P.s Don't get fooled by those shillers, lately i saw a lot of people hyping an old and abandoned project and something shit which are good at the outside but terribe in the inside.
always do your own research before investing your money into it
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Origo Network | The Scalable Privacy Preserving Platform for Decentralized on: July 21, 2018, 12:36:00 PM
Warnings
In order to prevent fraud and protect the community, there will be NO token or shares available to anyone, not even to friends or relatives of any Origo community member, before official announcement ONLY through this website.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I see the announcement from the website of Origo Network. It seems we need to wait for the official announcement. Maybe they are still preparing for the next step of this project.

based on what we are seeing right now, they're indeed preparing something before the final launch.
and right now what we are seeing right now is Pre-Announcement.

just want to know, what is the meaning behind 'Investor' on the thread.
seems like it's a well known project
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: July 15, 2018, 10:10:24 AM
lately we saw many bad things came out from Ethereum's supporter mouth or fudders.
which means right now it's not the best time for us to keep or hold Ethereum.
there're many things that you can hold for profit, for example Neo ? Nebl and many more.
or try to buy a low cap project for example SEMUX ? this project has a good system and heavily underpriced in my opinion.
1212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $25k by the end of 2018 on: July 15, 2018, 10:06:59 AM
Bitcoin bull Tom Lee, Fundstrat, still believes the cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) will hit $25K by the end of this year.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c8bf196Qg8  Do you agree with him? For me, I think it is quite possible for bitcoin to hit $25k at the end of this year.

Most of the cryptocurrency analyst are expecting for the price of bitcoins to rise up to $50k dollars because of new countries that has been legalized by their government to use bitcoins.

nope it won't happen this year.
why ? because we need to make a healthy movement,it's totally pointless for those country to legalize it if Bitcoin moves like crazy(for example last year).
regulation/legalization means it has been approved by goverment,in other word they will try to stabilize it to keep their investor and people from manipulation.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: July 05, 2018, 09:26:48 PM
Semux's new signature award doesn't look fair. The merit with a high level account is quite natural, so the number of recipients will be several times that of member.

After collecting feedback from the community, we applied a minor change to the reward distribution formula:

Code:
stake = min(merit_points + 50, 500)
reward = stake / total_stake * 20000 SEM

It shouldn't be so much focus on the merit points, because it's damn difficult to get them.
99% of the users at BCT don't give out merits at all...

The merits are used to not only for point system but also to filter dummy accounts and avoid spam.
.
System of merits  not for new account i think some members selling merit as well as bitcointalk accounts

and i do not think it's a right place to say/discuss something like that.
if you want to say something or discuss something about merit or something like that you can go here directly ;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0

about distribution,
this is better than before in my opinion.

Why should the SEMUX signature campaign and it's requirements be discussed in another board?

First i am not talking to you but instead i am talking with him.
he was talking about merit not for new account and selling merit.
understand ?

1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: July 02, 2018, 07:06:44 PM
I saw a new announcement in the Slack channel: A new blockchain powered platform called Sportspodium is launching on Sirius! Give their announcement thread a look at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4548639, that's good news, thank you for the quick wednesday update.

that sounds good to know, this shows that the sirius dev team are actually doing some work behind close doors considering the fact that the team always take time release any update,
but it would have been nice to officially post such important update here on thread so as to get the community informed,
looking forward to further announcement and update from team including second airdrop procedures..
what is the benefit of this project with the '' Sportspodium ''? see the current sirx volume is really apprehensive. hopefully with the news about Sportspodium this can give a positive impact for sirx soon.

Bear market now, many projects are dead, I hope Sirius development team will continue to work
It's good to have update here on bitcointalk. But besides the bitcointalk trade thread, are there plans to list this on new exchange?

people were hyping it when it got listed on exchange back then and yet you were asking this question ?
i bet you did not know the fact that it was listed on cryptopia ? and written on the thread.
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=SIRX_BTC
well basically you can see it on the thread if you know how to read, right ?
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] LIGHTPAYCOIN LPC ⭐ MASTERNODES ✅ POS ⭐ MNO AND CRYPTOBRIDGE LISTED ✅ on: July 02, 2018, 03:16:11 PM
We won last week for listing on southxchange.  They should have told us already! I think they are afraid that we will crash their site with our volume.  They only average between 7-10 BTC in  daily volume, a decent exchange nonetheless.  We have almost 8 times that.  This makes the idea of going to Cryptopia even more  relevant!

newbie with 2 posts talked something like this.
never heard something like this before,do you even understand how it works ?

it's pretty obvious that they are trying to shill and pump this shit out and when they reach their goal.
a huge sell off will happen in the future.
beware,if you can afford to lose it all you can try your luck in here.
but if you can not, please stay away from this project until they prove their worthiness.
do your own research before investing into something
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: July 02, 2018, 07:46:51 AM
Semux's negative trust has been lifted by the mod,
so please avoid posting anything related to Spam,Scam or something like that in the future.
make this project clean.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook lifts ban on crypto ads on: June 27, 2018, 02:16:40 PM
it is true,i saw this news a day ago or two if i remember it correctly.
They are indeed lift the ban related to cryptocurrency and put some restriction about it.
on the other hand they are banning an ICOs ads.
which means they're only supporting a legitimate project related to cryptocurrency and banning the project who tries to advertise their project in order to raise the fund.
truth to be told,it's expected because we saw this kind of news many times before.
they're only creating an oppurtunity and a new entry for a new investor, they can not deny the fact that cryptocurrency is our future.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to calculate altcoin future price depending on marketcap on: June 21, 2018, 02:57:10 PM
logically you can not do that, you saw a lot of people did that just for fun.
but if you keep insisting to know about that,here is a simple way to do that ;
1.You need to set/know what will happen with Bitcoin and how far it will go.
2.Development(technology,system,and etc)
3.Demand
4.Total supply until that date

mathematically it should be like this ;
Bitcoin's ATH was $20.000(approx),total Market Cap's ATH $700 Billions and STR's ATH $0.7.
we're trying to figure out how far it will go(STR) when our Market Cap's Hit $1 Trillion ?
based on our history, when we're at $700 Billions Bitcoin reached $20.000 which means it must surpass that level because we're at $1 Trillion.
so it should be around $25.000(approximately,because total market increase for more than 30%).
Bitcoin's increase for more than 30% that date, also means every altcoin will get a pump too for more than 30%.
logically speaking, when Bitcoin gets pump for 5% altcoin will get pump at least for more than 6%++.
if Bitcoin reachs $25.000 and total market cap reachs $1 Trillion,STR's price should hit at least $1 because it needs to up at least for more than 30%.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Going To Reach 10,000$ By 2020? on: June 13, 2018, 04:28:43 AM
Those who hate Ripple because it's centralised, what do you think about Stellar? It looks to me to work the same way as Ripple  but it's not owned by banks. Is it any better or is it the same in the end?

did you know the fact that XRP(Ripple) founder and STR founder are same person ?
(basically people who hates XRP will also hates STR,because both of them are centralized)
if you do not know,read it here ;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jed_McCaleb
so comparing it to its brother won't change the fact that both of them are centralized.

i think you need to do something called 'research' before talking mate,it's totally ridiculous
