1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best 3 coins which will be huge in next 2 years.???? on: November 16, 2018, 03:49:48 PM
ETH still has a chance to fight those newcomer if they are successfully adding a new features in Ethereum 2.0, and right now some project are moving up from ETH network to XLM network. next year could be year for Stellar Lumen to shine, because it could make 1000 transactions per second. 100x faster compared to ETH and smart contract that could make 10~20 at most transaction per second.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to buy ADA on: November 16, 2018, 01:29:24 PM
I have been hearing this shill for a long time already and everyday it keeps moving down. you guys should stop buying this at least until the market changes, right now everything is very ugly and it could go any worse than today.
uncertainty will lead you to more lose instead of gain, be wary of it and stay safe. i recommend you to hold your horses right now and buy it when the market starts to change, it is not too late to buy it later.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So what do you think about the Bitcoin Cash Fork?... BTCABC & BTCSV on: November 16, 2018, 12:19:57 PM
Hello,

Its just rich people burning their money, dont get distracted
Focus on learning more and on the people who build things

Cheers

Good advice and I do... in particular with the dapp development platforms ethereum, eos, cardanno, iota etc

I'm just intrigued what people think the fall out of this will be and it's effect on btc

And do not forget Stellar Lumen project, it has a lot of potential and some project used it as their network base lately. Stellar blockchain is the fastest blockchain that we ever have, because it only takes 2~5 seconds to get confirmed by the network.

about people that fall for it, well we could not blame them because it needs a 'knowledge' to understand all of this. even though it only requires a little of it, but it does not mean any common people that does not know anything about cryptocurrency and its technology in particular way will understand this kind of situation. most of them are here for a quick money, not for its technology and development.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the bottom of the market? Time to buy coins? on: November 16, 2018, 12:09:15 PM
it makes a sense as long as you can hold it for a while, cryptocurrency's logic is you will not lose anything if you do not sell it cheaper from where you bought it before.
if we are talking about peoples speculation about Bitcoin and other alts right now, they are expecting another down in a few days or weeks before the end of the year.
usually when it comes to holiday, the price always gets dumped. just like before, but let's hope that we will not see any of this again in the future because the chart will look so terribly ugly from this point if this down happens again.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: November 15, 2018, 05:47:20 PM
XLM have a biggest Airdrop this is good for everyone have account on blockchain that they must KYC  .

i hope the XLM price will higher and higher on next month
I also hope that it can happen. This is considered a huge bonus for everyone because there are up to $ 125,000,000 distributed to KYC participants. I believe that XLM has a very good development strategy and prices will certainly increase very high in the future

This is not bonus but instead it is a marketing specialized by Stellar team and any other cryptocurrency team to reach those non cryptoplayers to join the boat and to understand Stellar project.
If i remember it correctly, Ripple made this kind of marketing too on Ellen DeGeneres charity.
they need to do that because our current markets are not good enough and we can no go up any longer without new investors and users. i believe this is what they are trying to do right now. instead of only incentivizing our current users, why do not they also try to incentivize non cryptoplayers ?
1126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it drawing a box between 4800 to 5400? on: November 15, 2018, 05:35:22 PM
Just saw an analyst said that from tele. What do you think?
The hash battle may result in the final drop?

Things will be clearer next week. We are feeling the immediate impact of the hash wars, however, it should all settle down in a week or two and  suspect the price will rebound back to $6300 - $6500 range.

I just hope it will not go any worse in a few weeks later, just shocked seeing Bitcoin went this much in just a single day.
I thought Bitcoin Cash fork and hash wars would not bring any significant movement to Bitcoin, but i was wrong. Just can not believe it, how could they do that ?
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why regular people are afraid to invest in Crypto on: November 08, 2018, 06:19:34 PM
there are so many reasons why peoples are afraid of it or hesitate using it and the most basic problem that we are facing right now is, it is really hard to use or it is a bit complex and they need a little knowledge about computer and its technology to do this while traditional financial system does not require all of this.
plus those influencers and medias kept talking shit about cryptocurrency, such as this thing is used by criminal or fraud and etc.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: XLM Airdrop. Joke? on: November 08, 2018, 06:12:29 PM
Is seems legit. I think it's a good chance to earn some free tokens. As for me, I'm holding stellar for long-term. KYC doesn't take a lot of time so I will do it. But when we will recieve these tokens, it's unknown information.

who said that it was fake ? of course it is legit because stellar.org itself announced it on their social media. the problem here is KYC, for some people like you for example.
everything is fine because it does not require a lot of time to do that(you are looking at it from different perspective), but for some people who prioritize their privacy will not look it as something that is easy and good to do.
why ? because your identity can be used for something bad like taking a loan from online sites ? faking their identity and etc.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Exchanges on: November 08, 2018, 05:26:17 PM
I think the best exchange is etherdelta because is one descentralized and you have full access at your funds . You have to be careful with centralised exchanges

wait what ? the best exchange ? i heard a lot of bad things that came from that exchange such as hacked account, stolen assets , DDoS and many more.
talking about decentralized exchange, i like cryptobride more than etherdelta because it is very simple, cost-effective and faster.
what we need to do is to not deposit all of our money or all of our assets into any exchange, we can not trust anybody if money is involved.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOS] 🔹🔹 BOScoin 🔹🔹 Self-Evolving Cryptocurrency Platform🔹🔹 on: November 08, 2018, 10:32:10 AM
I not understand according this:

https://news.kucoin.com/en/kucoin-will-support-the-boscoin-bos-mainnet-token-swap

Dear KuCoin Users,
KuCoin is pleased to inform you that we will support the BOScoin (BOS) MainNet Token Swap and we will help all BOS holders on KuCoin to complete the token swap process. Related follow-ups to this subject will be announced separately.

We strongly suggest you to deposit your BOS tokens to KuCoin and we will swap the MainNet token for you automatically.

SO WE NEED DEPOSIT FROM WALLET TO KUCOIN TO SWAP.RIGHT?

That mail only explains that KuCoin is supporting the swap and if you have boscoin on their exchange when that time comes, they will automatically swap your token.
the only way to swap it and the only exchange that supporting it ? i do not think so.
usually they will announce how to do it on their blog, medium or their social media and the place to do that.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where can blockchain help to tackle fraud and prevent scams? on: November 08, 2018, 10:10:00 AM
Blockchain will help in some way to lessen the frauds and scams in the financial market, but please remember it will only lessen it as it will depend on the user to fully prevent the fraudulent activities as this kind of think is already a mind set and a behavior to the people that do it and they will always find ways and loopholes in the system scam people. So in short to prevent being scammed be wary in every transaction that you make.

nope,
since when blockchain did that thing ? as far as i know, blockchain is form of freedom in term of financial and it is a tool for us to upgrade our traditional financial system by using technology, lightening and fastening every transactions that we make.
plus do not forget that blockchain transaction is irreversible, which means it does not help you prevent any scam because once you send a money or coin. you will never get it back

1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to Protect Its Users From Cryptojacking on: November 08, 2018, 10:03:20 AM
they should have done this a while ago not today, it is shame to see them acting this way after a thousand of peoples got hacked because of those extentions.
nevertheless, we can not deny that it might be a good sign for cryptocurrency.
while we are in bear market and peoples are afraid of it, googles gives us some of its light to lighten the market and giving us a hope after all this fear.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any centralized coin that accepts it is centralized? on: November 08, 2018, 08:52:33 AM
no, all of them claimed to be decentralized instead of centralized. but admit it when peoples were showing the proof to them.
XRP, NEO, NEM, CARDANO and ETH(it can be considered as one, well i called it pseudo-centralized).

we all know about the centralized coins that are always pretending they are decentralized. for example XRP is the most centralized coin of all times but every time they advertise it they claim it is not. the same with a lot of others.

so i was wondering if there is a centralized altcoin that accepts it is centralized and is transparent about it?
i am interesting in knowing how successful a centralized but transparent altcoin can be compared to a centralized but lying altcoin.

Petro currency issued by Venezuelan government is quite clear about being run (and dominated) by Venezuelan government. This case is rather a lecture from villain monetary policy than a real use case for cryptocurrency.

is this still running ? because the volume looks so weak, i thought they were abandoning this project.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INOOVI [IVI] - NEW [AIRDROP] - Free Until 21st of November 2018 Only on: November 08, 2018, 08:46:24 AM
this is your main ann or do you have something else than this one ? what are you trying to do or achieve actually ?
it is quite funny actually, i clicked https://inoovi.io/ and it redirected me to this url address https://infinivi.io/
not sure what is going on exactly.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - the best crypto! on: November 07, 2018, 11:51:11 PM
LOL, which report did you see? Just 2 days ago a report published claiming that EOS is neither a blockchain, nor decentralized. And not just that, it's performance is also very low. Just 250 tps and that too under ideal conditions..... https://cryptocrimson.com/eos-not-blockchain-not-exceed-250-tps-study/

well actually there are a lot of medias reporting it that way, no doubt EOS is a giant in term of marketing because most of their supporter are whales.
but if we are looking at it technically, it is not that good and in comparison with ETH or NEO. it is still far a way behind those project, only their marketing is a way far a head.

this kind of news/report for example :
https://hacked.com/eos-will-be-the-best-performing-cryptocurrency-of-the-year-according-to-finder-com-survey/
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH - Global Payments | Cryptonight v7 | Fast.Secured.Low-cost. on: November 07, 2018, 10:58:08 PM
some people said it was faster than the old one and he said it only needs 15 minutes to synch the wallet. but i do not know how long it will be for you, because everybody has different bandwidth and internet connection.
that was what i heard from other people on Telegram channel, not sure it was real or not.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: November 07, 2018, 10:42:15 PM
you should have posted it as [Pre-Ann] instead of [Ann] to prevent any confusion about your project and prevent them asking an unnecessary question just like this ;

Quote
asic algo?
Quote
what algo?

the mod will not delete any thread if you are doing it correctly, so please change the tittle to stop this unnecessary question that will spam your thread.
(bear it in your mind that mod will delete any kind of thread that is full of spam).
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][SWAP][MN 80% / POS 20%] Leisurecoin Project - Formerly known as Lumen🔥 on: November 07, 2018, 10:35:12 PM
LUMEN aka STELLAR ? or something else ? (you need to provide at least a link to that LUMEN)
please post more information about this swap and information about your project.
everything looks so sketchy right now

1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin rise in 2019 on: November 07, 2018, 10:29:47 PM
who said that nobody saw that coming in ? honestly speaking, i even saw a lot of peoples were expecting it to move around $4000~ more or less than that.
peoples realized the fact that Bitcoin moved up crazily due to hype instead of organic growth, that was why a lot of peoples were expecting this.
about similiar pattern, nobody knows because lately Bitcoin broke every pattern.
like usually got pumped after or at tax day , conference and many more, but in reality it did not.
however, we can not deny the fact that in 2020 we are going to see another halving which means the rewards will be decreased by a half. that means we must push the price up at least for more than $6000. Because if we do not push it up, the miners will not mine it again and usually the price increased a few months before the halving and it started in july a year before the halving. so i am expecting and hoping it to work as it used to be.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Bench, what are you doing? on: October 31, 2018, 04:33:17 PM
Suspicious activity on our favorite site icobench.com
It still began with the article https://hackernoon.com/beware-of-ico-bench-97addacfedc7 from Philip.
Where he unflatteringly speaks about the experts on this listing, also looking at several ICOs and their ratings, I noticed testimonials from ico-experts, who say so softly contradict themselves.
What do you think, is this their new kind of earnings?
Leave a bad review and then ask for money for editing reviews?
It is very interesting to hear your opinion.

He does not ask. He's just hanging it here. They contact him and pay money. Well, I think rating systems lie to us. The one who pays the most gets the most. This form of business. See how many of these rating agencies are now.

the most logical answer by far.
people started to forget the reason why did they create that kind of project, rating is part of business. all of them will say something or rate you based on how much your money, plus some of them will ask you a listing fee in order to get listed or get rated by them.
that is why it is advisable to collect the information from many sites or many sources.

remember, people will not do something if they do not get something in return
