Look at Coinbase for example, they are starting to integrate PayPal into their platform.

While indeed most of those tokens are garbage, they still prove that the platform is viable. Sooner or later more good tokens will born on Waves platform. Many dream that sooner or later Waves will be one of the real competitors for Ethereum. Maybe people dream too high, still, Waves is more than "just only an encription encryption service" (I didn't know they even encrypt anything, maybe I've missed something too). It means nothing, he just did not know what he was talking about. Waves is all in one platform, you can trade or create your own project based on Waves itself. Trading is better for those who can trade it, but for those who can not do it? they will not make it. And about hold and not to hold, it is about your style and strategy. technically, when you are jumping into something in your real life. You would not expect something in a single day, right? Holding is like running a business, at first you are going to see what will happen to your business and then make a goal based on it. in the end, you can not force something that is out of their way. people have a different kind of strategy and mindset, they might do not really care about what is going on with our current price right now because they put something that is basically nothing to them and would expect it to go zero at any moment. when you have something bigger other than your trade right now, and you can live with it. why would you care about something that is nothing for you? |

LAToken is a fake volume exchange.
They don't necessarily look for scam tokens to list.
But legit token teams wouldn't pay to get listed on that exchange.
Not sure why anyone would create a profile there.
Simple logic for this question, because 99 out of 100 tokens that conducted the ICOs are going to list their coin on that shitty exchange that was why people created an account on that exchange. As far as i know latoken and the main people behind it are legit and they are trying to develop a big platform for everything related to crypto, exchange is just one part and that is already working, as far as listings are concerned i do agree that recently they have listed poor quality projects and some of them lacked transparency, project development, activeness and also the lack of any support still latoken has listed such tokens which is not a good strategy.
They need to do something to cover up their expenses, that was why they listed those coins in the first place. When money is involved, transparency, development and any other things related to project are number second. not only LAToken, even Binance did that before. Remember when they listed BCN on their exchange? and where is it now? |

Dropped from top 100 to 1000 does not mean all of them are shitcoins because in cryptocurrency there is a time when some project is being accumulated, we are calling it capitulation. it happened before with XVG when it was at 7 satoshi or even less than that a few years ago. IMHO there will be just BTC, ETH and XRP on top 3 other we will see falling in rank, others in top 10-20 will totally change (maybe NEO will survive). This will be current low cap coins or new projects in top 20.
Im not sure if that will survive consider it's lack of the update and partnersip. A lot of new icos are trying to go back to the ethereum platform again dude. FYI, bitcoin and ethereum are not security but i'm not sure about that one that has known as ripple. Which one it is? Bitcoin? Ethereum? or? those ICOs are crap until now none of them deliver what they were promising for. Ethereum killer? more like a tool for another ICO, not the killer. |

Hell yeah, that's what everyone who bought above the current levels must be feeling. Even when Bitcoin bulls used to ask people to "KEEP CALM AND BUY BITCOINS AT SUCH CHEAP RATES" when it was playing at $6k, nobody would've thought ever that the bearish times (Futures and shorting opportunities) would kill the value to under $3250 levels.
Could not agree more with this statement. What have you exactly learnt if your faith started to shiver during bearish times? Are you not aware of the fact that BTC survived worst conditions, even worst than these? I know the fact that Bitcoin survived worst conditions before this, but we need to understand that we are in on different level from before. today, more than one country that supports Bitcoin. And when the price goes down this lower, what will happen with their investor? Nothing would happen, it'll only make an average investor lose their faith in cryptocurrencies.
Do not agree, when Japan stated that they were supporting it. Their investor and even their citizen were using it, that means they were not a regular investor but instead they were the foundation. If they are losing it right now, do you think Bitcoin will survive? |

Honestly, I just following the movement price last 2014 and 2015 so, 3rd quarter of 2019 I'm sure that bitcoin price will rise up again just like what happened last 2015 and I think more event will come this coming a year.
2014/15 crash took about less than 1 year of decline in BTC price before the recovery started. I believe if BTC were to reach new lows now that we would actually be in a bearish market for longer than that time. 2014/15 crash and today crash are different, back then there were only a handful people involved while right now almost everybody knows about it and some countries were starting to accept it. And IF we are going to create a new low in the future, I am afraid there will be no more new ATH in the future because of its volatility. let's talk about Japan, for example. They were regulating their exchange and basically, they were supporting Bitcoin on that country. And when the price goes this lower, do you think only a handful people that lose their money? no, it's a lot. and of course, they will suffer a set back(mentality and financially) if the price keeps moving down and creating its new low in the future. I am afraid, nothing good will happen. |

$500 is an idiots prediction, unless they cut their supply by 90% it will never reach that price. However, it is a good investment in this bear market just like every other coin right now. Ripple will go up in 2019, but it is hard to say by how much
that's true and I can't imagine how much the market cap ripple if the ripple reaches $ 500. the hard work and partnership they have built so far seems to have a good impact and it is quite feasible to invest in it. another thing about PoS is that the method of rewarding people is seriously flawed. for example when someone is rich (specially if they are rich NOT because they bought BUT because they premined the coin) then it measn they will be rewarded a huge amount for free and for doing literary nothing.
not to mention that it can damage the price a lot too. miners work hard and want to continue working so they don't dump their coins to crash the market. a whale who is getting it for free can dump it at any time he wants, move to another PoS coin, buy a large sum there to pump, get paid for free then dump and come back to buy cheap. rinse and repeat.
you see the whale can easily get in and out and dump but a miner can not turn on and off!
A transition is hard for everything no doubt about that. even though its reward system is seriously flawed, we can not deny that it can help our world by reducing our total sources consumption, right? about rich guy and poor guy, it won't matter. because a rich guy can buy a lot of coins or hardware to mine it, while the poor guy can not afford to do what he did. Last week they released the mobile 2 app - I checked it out and in my view is the most polished professional crypto app I have yet seen. This week I think they make some big announcement about their Vostok project - Vostok is the consulting wing of Waves methinks. What is so great about their mobile app other than their cover? nothing much significant compared to any other mobile app. for you, it is a great thing but for some people, it does not. if I remember it correctly. at first, when they said about that Vostok thing, we were hearing an outrage from the community even though it is good for the waves itself. even if they are announcing this next week, who knows what will happen right? cryptocurrency is full of manipulation, the only reason why this coins got pumped so hard due to a long phase of accumulation. |
