1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: April 22, 2023, 09:35:05 AM
Unfortunately, I don't have the interest and time to check other sports so I prefer to stick with the chosen sports that I can understand. Soccer and Tennis are most favorite options but checking other ones just drains my energy. When it is all about betting I can go try different sports by checking feedback from other users.

Of course, I will not risk my funds on one sport that I know nothing about. I find it easier to decide when it comes to betting if we have full interest in our choice of sports. I also like sticking to one or two popular sports like basketball and soccer as well as boxing than trying out sports that I'm not familiar with. It will be a big risk if we'll try out betting on sports if we don't know how it really works not unless we'll have the eagerness to do research and explore other sports.

Yes, and some of us grow watching our favorite sports, so at least we have an idea as well specially if we have followed it since when we were young, for example, soccer or basketball.

And now we can just put our bets on that sports based on knowledge and not on someone's advise or tips. It's not that bad to get tips sometimes, but at least we are familiar of the sports that we are going to bet so that we know who to bet to and has a chance to win some money as well.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin does not support NFTs as much as Ethereum. on: April 21, 2023, 09:43:53 PM
It's simply because bitcoin is not designed to support NFT simply as that. As for the G20 going against bitcoin, that has been the case really, for many years they try to come up with everything just to stop it, however, it  grows like every year and then the price itself, during bull run. So I doubt that they can stop is, the only thing they can do is to come up with tougher regulations. And if you look at the countries in G20, not all of them are anti-bitcoin, majority are bitcoin friendly, only the lead state of India in G20 is just in the minority against bitcoin.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 21, 2023, 12:39:25 PM
Philly won with a strong game. Harden was unfairly kicked out and didn't play in the last quarter, but Maxey still filled that gap by playing well. Embiid should have been kicked out in my opinion. The referees keep making weird decisions. I think this series was over when it was 2-0, now it's 3-0 and the Nets have no chance. I said they played with weak opponents after the 2nd game, there were those who said that the Nets were too strong here, but we saw who was right.

Just show the depth of Philly again, no Harden and yet the Nets wasn't able to exploit that. I mean they are in the good lead even in the last minute of the game. But for some strange reasons, they can't score and then they didn't guard Maxey who took that 3 and that should be the dagger.

Dinwiddie try to drive and he was lucky that a call was made. But after that, Philly score easy and the Nets missed that shot.

I thought that they are going to take a win in this game as they are in control of the game and Joel Embiid is not moving great. Most likely he is suffering some injuries after this game.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 21, 2023, 08:18:44 AM

My Bet is on Stephen Curry PRA Over 43.5

Nice hit! The total was 45 (points 36 - rebounds 6 - assists 3).

It was a big win for the Warriors, even without Draymond Green. They played dominant basketball, especially Curry, who had a great shooting percentage. Everyone got involved, especially Wiggins, who was the second-best scorer.

Yes, and so their record at home stay intact, not just winning, but winning big at their homecourt and they never failed their backers are they easily cover the handicap and even if you bet on them to cover more on live beating it's already a big win.

And it's good to see the finally Wiggins game is back, this is just his 3rd game but it seems that he has found his rhythm already and yes, they seems not missing the services of Draymond tonight as every who play contributes.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 21, 2023, 08:06:45 AM
I cannot blame people to have full confidence in Inoue because he earned it. He has too many achievements and he is a guaranteed first ballot in the Hall of Fame even at this current stage of his career. P4p #1, undisputed champion, 3 division champion and he became a champion in only his 6th pro fight.

That's too early to think though, he could have like 5-10 years in his career.

Fulton on the other hand is very brave by traveling to Japan to defend his belts. Fulton has the size and skills. Fulton has a proven solid chin too after what we saw during the Figuroa fight. So I won't be surprised if Fulton will try to establish himself early as the aggressor to gain respect and not allow Inoue to just hunt him like prey.

Yes, maybe he is confident that he can beat Inoue in his own home soil. That's why he is willing to travel and risk the belt. And even if the initial date was postponed due to Inoue getting injured, he still take the time and wait for Inoue to fully heal and continue the fight this June. So he has a lot of time to properly put up a strategy against Inoue with those waiting months.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: April 20, 2023, 11:29:02 AM
I hear a lot of voices saying that BTC's price will go through the roof when the monetary system goes down.
I've heard predictions of BTC going 4x in 2024. Others say 33x in years to come.

Is there any estimated guess on how high Ethereum can go?
While the growth of BTC depends on the loss of confidence in regular currencies (dollar, euro..) it seems that the growth of ETH is not dependent on this.
I often hear people talk about BTC value explosion, while it seems that growth of ETH price is more gradual and linear. So basically a lower expected return on investment.

Also, after BTC surviving for more than 10 years and not even the Chinese government being able to stop it, I am quite confident it can not be stopped.
But can ETH somehow be stopped? Confiscated or devalued when exchanges are attacked

The investment I can afford right now is 1 BTC and 1 ETH.
I barely have fixed costs for the next 2 years so I can slowly stack up.
But I don't know if the same amount is better invested in let's say 0.5 BTC and 5 ETH. That will depend on growth potential and safety
Also if the government somehow finds a way to attack BTC, owning 5 ETH can compensate for the other investment that didn't work out.
I would like to diversify, but don't find many suited options to diversify in.

I think the estimates is almost the say for Bitcoin and Ethereum growth, it's like 2.5x from their last all time high.

So if BTC=69,000 x 2.5 = $172,500 and if ETH=4,800 x =12,000. But that is just rough estimates though, so don't take that numbers as if we will going to hit that in the next bull run.

So just compute how much you are going to profit though and see what will be good for your money in the next 2 years or so.

If you are going to ask me, I will just stick with BTC though.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 20, 2023, 10:57:19 AM
^ Thanks for this update, I wonder though want happen to the court case he had as someone has accuses Casimero of rape way back? I do hope that there are no merits on that case and Casimero has move on already.

And it seems like his training is solid by the looks of it, as you have said, there are no distractions and he is focus because this is still a big fight for him in front of his thousands of fans and really wanted to see him in action.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 20, 2023, 10:25:42 AM
The Suns vs LA Clippers game is more fun to watch, as these two teams are very well-matched. I wouldn't be surprised if this game goes to game 7. The kind of defense the Suns have may not be enough to stop Leonard, and now that the Clippers are playing in front of their home crowd, I expect them to play better. Perhaps they will win game 3, and if the Suns try to even the series, they'll have to win game 4.

Pretty sure it will be a tough series for the Suns,

with Leonard playing like this, and the way WB really determines to bring the competitions to its best.
I would love to see both teams to set all the adjustments that they need.

Possible to see a game 7 here, if the same competitiveness between these two opposing teams it's really
hard to predict which team will advance to the next round.

Yeah, the series is like evenly match up up to this point. And we are seeing Paul George practicing already, so I have a hunch that he might start to play in this series if the Clippers are going to be like 3-1 down in this series, so let's see.

Kawhi though has been checked in the fourth quarter and wasn't able to explode as he used to be. There was one violation called upon when when the tries to fake Ayton who has 5 fouls already. It was just one road lost though, as they go back to their homecourt, I'm expecting that Leonard will be back with a good 30+ points performance.
1129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on 30k how was your feelings ? on: April 20, 2023, 08:06:15 AM
After 10month later btc again touch 30k range, Although I was happy to see it rise to the range of 30k, but a deep pain and fear was created in my chest, actually the fear is that I don't feel comfort when the price of bitcoin goes higher because after investing at that price, if btc's value goes down. It's like the bitcoin pump couldn't make me happy.
I would like to know your feelings on this matter.  Tongue

And now it's back below $30k, and I'm happy. I will be happier if bitcoin can drop below $25k during this correction as I will have more chance to buy low price bitcoin and will sell it in the next bitcoin bull run. I made a lot of profit selling bitcoin at $29k, and I am expecting it to fall rather than keep going up.

Yeah, that's true, although we don't want to see the price nose diving below $30k again, but this is another opportunity to buy back at cheap prices. This is how investors are making money, buying when we are in a dip. So make sure that everyone can take advantage of the situation as this might not be presented itself when we make another breakout run, not just $30k, but above it in the next coming weeks. Not sure though if it can go lower or touch $25k. Currently we have a big support at $28k, unless we broke down that support line, we might not see $25k, in my opinion.
1130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down. on: April 20, 2023, 07:37:59 AM
Hello everyone.
As you can see, bitcoin is going down and I believe that it will keep falling.
As I explained in my last posts, this Bitcoin rise wasn't sustainable. There are literally no reasons for Bitcoin to go up now.

So I want to remain you guys again that right now is not the time to buy bitcoin.
Inflation is still high, interest rates are still getting higher, FED is not planning to stop any time soon, and the economy is suffering. All these reasons won't let Bitcoin rise from the ashes YET. But I believe we will see the end of it this year, probably in Q4.

So I recommend holding on to your cash/stablecoins right now and waiting for the signals to buy Bitcoin.
And as always, the best signals to look for: FED start cutting rates. When this will happen, it will mean that economy will start recovering soon so it's a great time to buy anything you want before crypto and the stock market will go up.

Have a nice day and take care.

Supply and demand, that is the one of the biggest reasons why bitcoin will continue to go up.

I'm sure you know that in January this year alone, bitcoin rose to 40%? I bet you didn't know that because you keep on telling us that this is not the right time to buy and that the price will not go up.

On the contrary, the market has proven that you are wrong.

And if you are waiting for the price to go like $15k or reach another lowest low for this year? that possibility might not come.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 20, 2023, 07:20:31 AM
I hope this does not happen, as much as Casimero is at fault for the situation he is in, at the same time it would be a shame if his talent was buried by the series of circumstances which surrounded him, he needs to win this fight and do so with authority, and then try to look for a fight for the title or at least he needs to become an official challenger, as the longer he takes to get a fight for the title the harder it would be for him to get that chance.

Let's trust him to get an impressive win in this fight. He knows what to do, and if he can beat opponents who are champions, then I guess Nghitumbwa is not going to be a problem for him. He is more than capable of scoring a knockout, and who knows, we might see him in a championship fight after this one. However, whatever happens next, what matters now is that he should not lose. One step at a time, and eventually, the right time will come.

Yes, that is the only thing that can we do is to trust John Riel can he can still bang and shows his power against Nghitumbwa and beat him via knockout. This is the perfect time for him at this super bantamweight, so that he can improved his ranking this year and maybe he will be given the chance to fight again for the belt or at least face a name fighter in this division.

So I think Casimero is a win win situation and should not lose this fight. Because this is a big opportunity for him, specially for him to show his fans in the Philippines as what he is one of their best champion before and will do it again to become another belt holder in the super bantamweight.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 19, 2023, 09:45:38 AM
Rakhimov vs. Cordina

Honestly I'm rooting for Rakhimov since he previously have defended his IBO title for 3 times before. Cordina seems to be favorited because he have won IBF title in his last fight. Both of them are undefeated, but Rakhimov has a better KO rate than Cordina.

The sports bookie list Rakhimov as an underdog in this fight, if you bet him to win in the moneyline option, the odds is 3.30.

Correct, Cordina is the more recognizable name between the two and it seems that he has face tougher opponents in the past. But I wouldn't be surprised if Rakhimov might pull another upset. We've seen a lot of upset lately so who knows, at 3.30 that's a big and attractive odds already.

For the fight in Middle East, specifically in Saudi Arabia, it looks like Eddie Hearn has inside track of those rich and billionaires who are willing to stage the fight in their homecourt and willing to shell out that huge money. So no surprises as well but the 4 of them should really agree first specially with money split and other part of the negotiations, like network coverage.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 09:05:47 AM
The game is very close though, if Wiggins just hit that corner 3, the complexion of the game could have been different as the Warriors will have the lead by that time. But let's give credit to the Kings, Monk and Fox combine for 71 big points for them. Monk started hot and then Fox takes over in the 3rd quarter and he is the one who get them into the game after trailing the Warriors. So this series is going to be tight, but the Warriors are still very much in the game, as you can see in the post game interview, Curry looks relax.
Yeah, but I like to see Steph Curry hitting that last shot. I don't doubt Wiggins but this is the 2nd crucial time where Curry didn't receive the ball for the last crucial shot. He did with the 2.9 seconds but that's not enough room for him to have a clear shot.
It's all good though, it's just the 1st game of the series. I bet the Warriors will be back stronger and would have some time to change their strategies as they now know how the Kings will attack.
Defend Monk, Fox, and Sabonis. That is all they have to be focused on.
Whoever is defending the rest of the Kings like Barnes and Lyles must be also aggressive at disabling them to score in any way possible. The deep roster of the Warriors today may have drowned Steve Kerr as I see him rotating his players without thinking ahead.

And now the Warriors are down 0-2 and Draymond Green is suspended in the next game. So might be very difficult to overcome that as he is one of the leaders for this team and then don't want to be down 0-3. The good news is that the series shifts to their home court is Chase center and we all know that they have a good record in their.

Their big 3 will have to step up, they have the championship DNA in Curry, Thompson and Poole and Wiggins.

They just have to work double hard in this series as the Kings is very different now with Sabonis and Fox leading them.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 17, 2023, 12:49:31 AM
^^ I agree, it was a cherry pick fight for Joyce obviously by this team. But it did bite them in the ass later, as Joyce has no answer to the left and he even admit that he has problems with that in that fight. But he was graceful in defeat, he had to smile at the camera even with his eyes almost closing. For sure big lessons for him and his camp. But he can still go back to the mix, maybe late this year they will pick an easy fight for him.

Zhang on the other hand can go after the big names and see how it goes for him. Yes, biggest paycheck incoming, I'm thinking maybe him and Andy Ruiz will be a good fight.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 16, 2023, 08:20:05 AM
Lopez will have an attitude to comment on his own match. Most of the boxer will not allow themselves to comment on own matches. Lopez speech was more favourable to the Vasiliy, the Vasiliy should follow the words of Lopez. Because most of the boxer will have their own attitude towards the game. When the boxer had face the same player on the next ring, he will find his own strategy towards the game. This happened in the Lopez match against the Taylor in the past game of match.Haney was waiting for his match against the Lomachenko and this game will be deciding one the top position in the league with good number of supporters from the audience.

Or maybe the animosity has been step aside by the Lopez's already. I mean prior to fighting Loma, they really hate the guy for every reasons they can think of and the attacks become personal even after they won, they don't want to give Loma his deserved rematch because Teo and his father doesn't want to in the first place.

That's why it's very strange for Teo to back up Loma in this fight against Haney. Or maybe he is looking to fight Haney at 140 lbs as Devin said he will have to go up in weight classes if he had difficult time making 135 lbs.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 16, 2023, 07:49:49 AM
Knicks!!

Just going to say this, jalen brunsen can't be covered in this series.  The only way clevland can cover him is with this double.  He will bully Garland and Mitchell all series long.  Then they threw osman on him lol.  Guaranteed they double him next game.  Knicks will be dependent on the 2nd 3rd and 4th guys hitting open shots.  No way they let JB cook them all series long.  Gonna be a good one.
Knicks! Indeed!  Grin They are all over the trend today. They are also the only upset that happened today when we talk about homecourt advantage basis.

I love the game in Sacramento though. Light the Beam!
De'Aaron Fox playoff debut with an awesome 38 points. I love his humble answers during the post-game interview. He always gives credit to the Kings' bench saying they helped ignite the fire that gave them a run and contributed to winning the game against the defending champion Warriors.
It's their offensive rebounding and 2nd chance points that made the difference. 17 offensive rebounds for them against 9 of the Warriors. The reason why Coach Kerr put Kuminga in the 4th quarter but it didn't help much.
The Kings would need to keep this kind of pace if they want to win the next game on their turf.

1137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Progression in price on: April 16, 2023, 07:27:29 AM
Adam Back said and i qoute him: in Q1 2023 bitcoin price increased from 31 dec 2022 - 31 mar 2023 by ~70% (~$16.6k->$28k). interesting to note if that rate continues bitcoin would be:  jun $48k,  sep $82k, dec $140k. or for $100k by 31st dec, price growth would need to fall from 70% to 53% for Q2,3,4.

Everyone can make his own wild and educate guess like Adam Beck, so you can do your predictions too. As for the growth, we have recovered from last year so everyone is very happy to see the price touching $30k after a bad 2022.

As I have said, we can make our own prediction so I would say that definitely $100k can be achieved around 2024-2025 bull run.

It will be massive and we will break and have a new all time high. That's how every bull run is, so the best thing to do right now is prepare and stack sats, as much as you can.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 15, 2023, 09:45:50 PM
All of us experience tilt in one way or another. Don't blame yourself if you do, it's normal.

I do feel it too at times, especially when I feel like the game is working against me. Like I'm doing everything I can to play it well and it doesn't give me even a bit of slack.
I'm sure you all had those games in dice where you have 5 lost ones and 1 win and again 4 lost 1 won and you feel hopeless because you were expecting the game to stay at least close to 50% and you're getting 25% wins or less.

The only way to defeat it is to calm down and do something positive, eat something, watch a movie, go to bed and wake up the next day fresh and with a lot of energy.

Yeah, but it if always something to us, then we feel that we might be cheated or everything is against us, so that feeling is really not good. However, most of us will insists that we still need to play and as a result, we lose more money because of 'tilting'.

Hard to defeat it unless we really snap out of it and realized what is happening.

So yes, once we overcome it, we should do something positive to feel better and reset and maybe come back again.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 15, 2023, 09:23:49 PM
.
Now if Casimero will lose this one, there's no need for him to continue his career anymore as I think it's already safe to assume that he can't get big fights because he just lost this bout. Just in-case though.

I agree, a loss in this fight will definitely put a stain on Casimero's career and name, and I bet he will have a hard time having some future fights ahead of him if he will be defeated against an unknown boxer. If that happens, Nghitumbwa will be the one who will proceed as defeating Casimero will surely give a lot of attention including the fights.

Moreover, Casimero should just retire because he's not that young anymore to start at the bottom of the food chain again and nobody will be interested on fighting him anymore as fighting him won't give them the benefits that they wanted as Casimero will be just another somebody in the industry if that happens.

But on the bright side, I'm sure that John Riel Casimero won't let that happen.

He will be back to zero at this weight class and will have a difficult time to get a chance to crack or get a title shot. That's why eventhough his opponent is not known, he still needs to win this and as we have been saying, he should knockout this guy to send a message to his opponent and the governing body that he is ripe for another chance to fight for a world title again.

Chances though are slim for Casimero to lose fight, it will be in his hometown and so it will give him energy to show a good fight for his fans in the Philippines.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 15, 2023, 08:36:26 AM
How about Rudy Gobert bouncing back from one game suspension with a double double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. He has this highlight behind the back dribble for a layup? However, SGA is on the receiving end as his eye was swollen when Rudy unintentionally elbow him.

Match up between Gobert  and Jokic? Jokic is going to eat up Gobert and I don't think that he can outsmart Jokic.

But for sure, the series will be fun to watch. But I'm seeing Nuggets winning in 5.
