Watch out for bogus sellers, I've had thousands of $$ tied up in eBay for WEEKS because of Casascius coins. I've had many more bad experiences than good selling and buying these things on eBay.

I believe I bought and resold both for between 2 and 3 BTC. Would have been within the last year, year and a half tops. If you obsessively pore over my post history you might find it.

I had two, MS65 and MS6? (4 or 6, memory fails me).

Just wanted to let my esteemed colleagues know that we've got a new public high for a 2013 Casascius 0.5 BTC Series-2 Silver, 15 BTC.

The purchaser also elected to have the PGP chain of custody extended for an additional 1 BTC, which -- to my knowledge -- is the first time such an exchange has occurred. I expect this to be the minimum cost for extending a first-owner custody chain (henceforth known as a one-nub chain) going forward.

The purchaser can reveal their identity if they so wish, and the escrow agent can publicly verify the amount of the transaction if they so wish.

I have coins from roll 1Ag1-C (first batch, third roll) ordered July 12, 2013, and they all had lasered holos.

Curious that a 1Ag4 coin loaded November 8, 2013 would have a non-lasered edge.

As some of you may already know, when I'm not hucking Casascius coins I run a silkscreen printing shop. We just published a new issue of our 100% hand-silkscreen printed and hand-bound art book, AWAOD.

Prior issues had been no larger than 5.5x8.5" but we decided to make a huge coffee table book this time. 13 pages of art from 14 different artists, 12x18" in size, with sewn bindings that allow the book to be disassembled into individual art prints, suitable for framing or gift-giving.

Standard edition is printed on Cougar 100lb Natural paper (100% tree pulp, acid-free, archival quality).

Deluxe edition is printed on Stonehenge 250gsm Cream paper (100% cotton rag, buffered, archival quality).

Both editions feature thicker Cougar 130lb covers to support the book and protect the prints within.

Each edition is hand-bound with 100% pure linen thread, waxed by hand with 100% natural beeswax.

100 copies available to the general public (75 standard, 25 deluxe), with the rest of the edition going to the contributors. Roughly 250 hours of work was involved in the production of these books, not including the countless hours of toil by our gracious contributors, without whom we would not have the opportunity to do what we love. Most of my coins are first-hand purchases, but I recently managed to become second owner of some silvers with docs. Probably put different prices on them based on the length of the custody chain at some point, although truthfully I'm almost done selling.

Honestly baffled as to why people didn't get on this when they had the chance.

Seems like Casascius is still AWOL, so I will probably hold these coins indefinitely. Should be infinitely more valuable down the road when the market is awash in Chinese fakes.
