in the past I've seen the APR sit as high at 30%, so maybe the asset could drop even more if dividends stay at the current percent.
Three months ago, the APR was over 100%. I wonder how much of this has to do with the price of BTC in general.
People cashing out maybe?
Gox $123 Bitstamp $108.62 Campbx $108.87 Btc-E $106.25
Gox is so high because nobody wants to sell their BTC for USD, because they can't withdraw any USD. Not a great barometer.

Jesse James,
While I appreciate your efforts with this, I think deleting the reply to johoe is more questionable than the way you replied..
I don't follow? My reply simply acknowledged I had overlooked the cases he pointed out. I deleted it because I thought it prudent to double check his additions first. I was referring to the fact that you posted the reply as hyperreal

I sold all my shares when it became clear Friedcat had no intention of honoring the .1 promotion for the USB erupters any time soon. This may seem like a small thing, but to me it is a sign that something is wrong at ASICminer or he does not do what he says he will do. I would think it was the former, except I see these being offered for sale in bulk lots of 500, while many wait for the .01 promotion to be honored. Either way, it is not a good sign to announce a promotion like that and then not follow through with it.
When did he say he wouldn't be honoring it? He didn't. Guy sold all his shares in AM because they're maximizing profits instead of subsidizing hardware to shareholders. Only in bitcoin-land...

August 4th, 2013 - Please be careful speculating on the price of XBOND. The callback cost is 105% (0.00105 bitcoins each).
We can issue more bonds at will; and callback can happen at any time.
This means that if you buy an XBOND at great than 0.00105, you run the risk of loss if it is ever called back before you receive 5% in coupon payments.

If you follow the wallet address (from this past week's GB) from both CannaryInTheMine and Sonic, it seems that they got close to ~4000 BTC, while they sent out only a small portion of that to FC. I was able to easily follow Cannary's out going transaction to FC's dividend sending address. There was only 1500 BTC sent from Cannary out of approx. 3500 collected so far.
It's worth noting that Canary and other resellers are also collecting funds for shipping (express/priority in some cases), which would not be sent to friedcat.

So really this is nothing more than a bitcoin themed souvenir that's valued upon the material it is made out of? Or, in other words, a silver coin. Here's one that's nothing more than a dollar themed souvenir that's valued upon the material it's made out of: Unless, of course, you'd spend that coin as a dollar. But why would you?

what about small copper 0.01 BTC coins? Coins are expensive to make. Casascius has a 0.25 BTC markup on his 1 BTC and 0.5 BTC coins. Would you be willing to buy a 0.1 BTC coin for 0.35 BTC? Casascius also sells aluminum blanks and many people have minted their own coins. At least one person is selling them in the Goods forum. Coins are expensive to make in small runs. The Royal Canadian Mint can provide bespoke coins for $3-4 per unit, but you have to buy 10,000 of them

I was going to say "condescending". They judge an IPO success if it sold out in the first 5 minutes or not. we understand that it could be confusing to some Confusion and lack of momentum are the fault of the offering company, not the investing public.

Has this been verified by Havelock, or is has it just been stated by CFIG and taken at face value?
I thought that was exactly what lightbox was doing. Lightbox, what is your affiliation with Havelock? AFAIK lightbox works with/owns Havelock. My question is whether anyone from Havelock has done independent research to verify whether the Panamanian bank is ACTUALLY backing CFIG, or if CFIG just said "here's the name of the bank" and Havelock said "OK!".

Crypto is slowwwwlllyyy learning that people don't just throw down $3m in Bitcoins because an interesting idea is at stake.
Crypto is also slowly learning that the unprepared get chewed up and spit out Please have who ever you wish to "Verify us" PM us through the Bitcointalk forum and we would be happy to go over any current and future plans and our abilities to come through on those plans. Or they may e-mail us directly at ipo@cryptofinancial.ioAnd we do understand the need for trust. The two people I nominate to handle this task are DeathandTaxes and Korbman if they have not already sent PM's asking for the financial spreadsheets. +1
