2401  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 20, 2019, 10:35:10 PM
The win chance shown in lottery section of freebitco website is calculated wrong. The real win chance is bigger than what is shown.
Now the win chance shown is equal to [(your tickets/total tickets)*100%]*10. It's wrong.
The real win chance is bigger. Because the person who wins the first prize will no longer have the chance to win the second to tenth prize, and all his tickets are removed when next winners are being determined.

Even then I have not heard form anyone here if they had won a lottery. Few of my friends also play at freebitco and they also did not win any big prize. I wonder if this lottery system is fair ?  Huh
2402  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 18, 2019, 04:12:32 PM
I doubt freebitcoin got enough advertisement out of this.

We think it has been worthwhile. We got a lot of coverage on the crypto news sites and a healthy increase in volume.

Healthy increase in volume, but lower lottery prize, ignore the period that the first prize skyrocket to 1.8-2.0btc (mass multi accounts bot), it's prize now is lesser than 0.5 BTC (which was before that event is 0.5 -> 0.6 btc) but the wager volume right now is much more than before so either it's not really healthy or the prizes have been offset for weeks to pay the Lambo.

Have anyone won a lottery at Freebitco ? I have tried my luck many times in this lottery but never won it. Even I used to solve the captcha at this site every hour but never got a big reward. Maybe I am not that lucky to go for a Lamborghini  Roll Eyes
2403  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Seller said i have to wait on: September 15, 2019, 04:51:19 PM
I'm using localbitcoins, still did not received anything from seller,i decided to open a dispute

everything im involved in can never go smooth lol

The good thing is that local bitcoin escrow system is very good and you will be able to resolve this matter in your favor once you dispute the deal.

So today i made my first ever payment for bitcoin via paypal,i sent the money but seller said i have to wait 2 hours for payment to complete.
Im a total beginner in this so i want to know ur opinion,am i safe. Is a dispute needed? What happens when a timer runs out?
Thank to y'all
Just wait for the specified time and raise a dispute if the bitcoins are not sent to your address. I hope you have given him your btc address  Roll Eyes Huh

Maybe you need to understand the matter more closely.
In localbitcoins we do not share our bitcoin address as they are automatically transferred through the site when we release the bitcoins.

The strategy to get money from faucets is not really a big strategy, you can't really make that much money from faucets, even if you go around and get paid from 100 faucets (don't know if there are 100 faucets that works) at most they give you is 2-3 satoshi at this point per try and if you do it hourly that is around 200 satoshi which means 2k daily if you do 10 hours.

Is it doable? Sure, you can at least get your first start in bitcoin world like that and if you work for a whole month like that then you would be able to make some starting money for some trades and all that. However is it profitable? Not really, you are better using that time to do some other work and get paid, there are airdrops and bounties and all that which rewards for actual work you put in.

Although it seems a worthless effort and a waste of time but think of it if a person has no skills and is new in the bitcoin world. Such a person can still work on faucets before he get any decent work. It is better to work and earn something than to remain idle and jobless.
But faucets should not be abused by making multiple accounts. You should work on different faucets on different sites.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 15, 2019, 10:26:44 AM
There must be a reason of why players do not want to visit and play in that country ? Also this is not a decision of a single country but all the countries have together decided this. There must be some issues which only the local people can tell better.

Visiting teams were attacked in Pakistan before, and this is in everyone's mind whenever the PCB requests foreign teams to play their matches in Karachi or Lahore, instead of the usual home grounds (Sharjah, Dubai.etc). A balance needs to be reached between the two aspects. PCB is in bad financial situation due to their inability to host international matches. At the same time, the foreign teams can't be forced to play their matches in Pakistan, unless there is a great deal of improvement in the security situation.

What do you mean by the teams were attacked in Pakistan ? When did that happen and how many teams were being attack ?
Do they had some causalities or injuries too?
But I think it could not happen because the visiting teams are usually given big security everywhere in the world.
2406  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: September 15, 2019, 07:13:45 AM
FreeBitcoins.com has a casino faucet for a few select places.  Well over 1 BTC given out in the past few months to players.

No play requirements, withdraw via blockchain after just a few hits.

Hope that you are not trying to imitate freebitco.in website since it is only a little difference with yours site. As far as I know freebitco.in is the oldest faucet site which is really growing until this day so yes, everybody is going to play or claim on that site because they have many events that you can participate all the time with such a huge payout

Freebitcoins.com registered on 2010-12-16.

Freebitco.in registered on 2013-10-10.

The two sites are completely different.  Freebitco.in is a 5% dice game with event gambling & "giveaways".  Freebitcoins.com is a straight-up faucet + crypto2crypto exchanges.

Kool. This means that Freebitcoins.com was registered before and it is still an unknown site.
I just opened it now for the first time and did not found it any good.

Freebitco.in was my favorite faucet and still my favorite one because the others have died and not paying anymore. It was also my first crypto gambling experience but I ain't that much lucky. You guys can count on this site for guaranteed faucet payment unlike my past experience where I have to  grind for a faucet before just to reach 100k sat in 4 weeks and did not get paid.

Yes, three years back when I used to play faucets, I remembered most of the faucets dried out but this Freebitco faucet never dried out and it is still paying in 2019. If you compare which faucet site is the best, then Freebitco is for sure the best one.
2407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: September 15, 2019, 06:37:31 AM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?

Gambling site will give you bonus some time that will actually be more than your initial capital on the condition that you my not be able to withdraw that same amount for over a period of time or unless you trade with the capital to some extent before you can make withdrawal from that account.
KYC as a requirement before you open an account with any crypto currency exchange this is because they really need to know there customers.

I think it's not good for gambling website reputation if they use a rule that needs a gambler to have bigger initial capital before they can be able to withdraw the money. That is their win money, and they deserve to withdraw their money anytime, and the gambling games cannot stop them from withdrawing. I don't think that if the promising gambling website that doesn't have KYC will look like a scam gambling site because that will depends on how they can make their customer satisfied with their services.

theres always a catch if the gambling site is being generous with their deposit bonus. so if you encounter such site, you need to read the feedback from the users or if they have thread here in the forum, dont be lazy reading the comments from players. you will gain insights on how a site is running their business.
and if you do want to try and deposit on their site, you basically know what youre getting into, right? its not that you are surprised when the withdrawal time comes.
would be your fault if that happens, simple reading of their TOS is a must if you are seriously considering playing with them!

The feedback will give nice information to us but don't always trust the feedback itself because you need to search by yourself. If you read on this forum, then you can get trustable feedback because we are here only give a trust gambling site which we can use to playing gambling. We don't want to get a scam or get false information on the gambling site so the feedback will be the honest feedback. Reading the TOS will better if we don't have any information but always make sure to search by yourself before you playing gambling or deposit your money.

We cannot only depend upon feedback only when searching for a trusted gambling sites. These days the sites do pay for the marketing and they are paid feedbacks too. So trusting a new gambling sites on the basis of only feedback is wrong. This rule is for the new gambling sites.
For the old ones, we already know which are the sites running from years and there is no need to look for their feedback to ensure their credibility.
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is or are the contribution of Crypto gambling sites to Crypto Currency on: September 15, 2019, 06:04:05 AM
We now have hundreds of Crypto gambling sites and many more coming I honestly think, gambling sites contributed a lot to the adoption of Cryptocurrency because even gamblers that do not know about Cryptocurrency adapt and learn how to use it so they can play in these Cryptocurrency gambling sites.

You can think of it in the either way whether the crypto have helped to introduce the gambling sites or  it is the gambling which help to promote the crypto.
Before the invention of crypto or you can say the usage of crypto in the gambling sites they were very few online gambling sites.  It is only after the bitcoin was started using in the online gaming sites that we see many new gaming start to popup.  So for me it is the crypto due to which people have started the business of gambling online sites.

2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Have An Exit Plan In Playing Gamble? on: September 15, 2019, 05:41:51 AM
I already tried to stop gambling but I really can't resist it especially before like almost a month I already didn't gamble but there's a very small inside me telling me to gamble lol, but I already learned.
As long as I have extra money, I still doing gambling, I only gamble my money that I afford to lose.

You can realize it yourself that it is not very easy to quit gambling. Even if you are not addicted to gambling, we still want to play it because it give us pleasure and fun. Every time I make up my mind that I will quit gambling , I could keep my promise only for few days and then play gambling again because I love to play it.  Wink
If you ask me, I never thought of any exit plan from gambling.
2410  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 15, 2019, 05:15:48 AM
I invested from my savings that I had gotten from my place of work,  invested more of it into bitcoin,  before I got to know more about altcoins,  that's about three years ago,  likewise,  I invested my time into bounties and airdrop,  I got couple of tokens from it,   those are my sources of investment

So are you in profit after this much investments from the last 3 years in Bitcoins and altcoins coins ?

As far as I know many people who are in Bitcoin/Altcoins investment for the last two or three years are in severe loss because of the totally beer market in 2018 till now.

Bitcoin recovered good but the altcoins moving more and more down everyday. Unfortunately most people have their portfolio in altcoins.
2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 14, 2019, 02:26:28 PM

Bhai smoking weed again.....  Huh

You might want to reread posts. Not a single person in the last 2 pages meant or used the word "Terrorist nation" together, let alone " Pakistan is a terrorist nation".

I am reading the stuff without smoking.
What do you understand when you read the below stuff.  Huh

This is the best decision overall and I applaud Malinga for helping make this decision. The Pakistan government have been advised multiple times by countries from around the world to minimize these terrorist issues, but I still don't see much of a difference.
Unless their government itself does something about this, teams will always have issues with touring Pakistan.

Hmm can't help you if you don't even want to understand the context. guess you didn't even bother to read next comment which was posted by @indy.

...

Yeah... I know all about this.
If someone wants to be evil he can always invent new ways to scam people.
One more thing he can do is to buy any bitcointalk alternative domains
https://www.namecheap.com/domains/registration/results.aspx?domain=bitcointalk

That is why I advice people to play anti-phishing quizzes
and learn protection in fun way:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178375

Being in an internet world, everyone should know what is phishing and what are the common ways by which scammers can scam you by impersonating the fake site as a real one. Since people do not listen and pay attention to these details, many have lost their accounts (social media & others) and even lost money from their bank accounts etc.
2413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 09, 2019, 11:28:30 AM
Income from betting/gambling is illegal or forbidden. How then is income gained from promoting something that is forbidden becomes legal? I don't really know a lot about Islam but I think it should also be considered as illegal.
I think he is not asking about Islam religion but he is asking in general for all the religions which forbids the gambling. If something is illegal in certain area, then promotion about it must be illegal too. You cannot promote something which is illegal or banned.
2414  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 09, 2019, 09:47:07 AM
My source investment earning from airdrop and bounty, I never use my money to trade or invest on IEO or ICOs, always use earning coin from bounty campaign reward and airdrop.

The amount of money collected form airdrops and bounty are not enough. Most of those coins have no value at all. How many times you have collected bounty and those coins remain in your wallet as these are not on any exchanges ?

Although if your budget is tight and you have no money to invest, only then these airdrops and bounty should be used.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 09, 2019, 09:38:13 AM
yes only if you are a popular or reputable person on your place and if you tell them that your gambling or if someone discovered that your gambling but if you will only keep it as a secret and you only gamble anonymously/privately , know one will ever know  .

in my case i am not a popular person or a reputable person so i dont care if people around me will see me playing a gambling  . infact im verry proud to tell them that im playing a gambling  .

This problem can occur with normal people like us and not necessarily with only popular personalities. I can tell you few cases where people were doing gambling hidden from their families and when their families find about their activates, those people have to face embarrassment.
In many places, gambling is not considered as a noble and good activity and if anyone knows a person doing gambling, that can cause difficulty for him.
2416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 08, 2019, 05:52:33 PM
Few of my friends got email from the Stake that they are giving free 5$ bonus on the deposit of 5$ without any condition of wagering etc ? Is it true ?
Is this offer for everyone or only the selected number of people ?

I just took a look at my email but i didn't receive any email about deposit bonus....

Maybe they send it to those who don't deposit ofted. It will be nice to receive such promotion.

I also do not get any such promotion email and this is not being told in telegram or here on this thread. Most of the time such emails are phishing ones and they take you to the scam sites which seems similar to the original site and you put your original password on those scam sites.

If you see any offer email, you should verify the offer from the official site representative or support.
2417  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 08, 2019, 04:58:20 PM
My source investment from daily working, I work every day and save it to use for investing in bitcoin and altcoin. Some time I got much profit with my investment and many time I get lost.

I think you should also save your salary since, you see, your salary is a stable source of your income, that is great. What is not great is that you are putting your money into a risky state, I know that you want to have a profit out of that money but don't put it all there. Focus on what you have and if you have a profit, that is the only amount you will be using to invest again. I also use some of my salary to invest but that is a small amount

It is not clear that where he is investing his salary. If he convert his salary in bitcoins and save it, there is nothing wrong in it. In future bitcoin value will be much more and therefore he will get much more profit once he convert his bitcoins in local currency.
On the other hand, if he is investing in gambling or any ponzi scheme, then he must be careful with it because in this way he can lose all his month salary to the scammers and gambling sites.
2418  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: September 08, 2019, 04:49:31 PM
Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?

There is a dedication section on trading here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0 where you can find all the information relevant to trading.
I would suggest to take proper trading course from someone who is already doing trading. If you do not know any such person, then try to find out some learning trading video. Make sure to watch the video which tell the techniques of trading and not the ones which shows the perdition of bitcoins and other crypto.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: September 08, 2019, 03:04:10 PM
I never bet on Politics, I do like betting on "events" such as the Eurovision Song Contest for example and have made some good money there - simply because it cannot be compared to "usual" sports betting and the bookies dont have as much information - value all the way Smiley

On which site do you bet on competition like song contest etc ? There may a gambling for the miss universe / Miss USA contests too ? Although I think it will not be easy to predict the winners of such contests but I may try my luck.

This game is like someone driving a leaky tire car.
If you want to drive, buy your own tire so you can walk. ridiculous.

Regardless of the site or scam issues,  these types of cartoon games are not very popular among gamblers and professional gamblers do not play such games. They may be suited to children or teenage people, but professional gamblers will never play these games. Also no one can win these games and you can only play for the entertainment, if you want.
