3231  Other / Meta / Re: Are the mods getting paid from this forum? on: June 15, 2013, 01:17:51 AM
The mods have been doing everything in their power to keep this forum running smoothly. Many of them are likely spending hours a day moderating these forums and they deserve some form of compensation. I do think the forum could have been more transparent with this by editing the advertisement auction thread to mention that a fraction of ads will go to mods.

I was at 15 btc yesterday from bitvegas, and I sent a 2.5 btc bet to satoshi dice. I lost, so I sent another. Thought I lost that so I sent another. All within about 30 seconds, I was looking the bets up on their website. So then I was at 7.5btc and all sad so I went to prime dice and made it up to 12 btc. Once I withdraw that, I look in my wallet and there are two 5 btc payments from satoshi dice after all. Definitely the best 5 minutes of betting I could have hoped for, from 7.5-22 in a matter of seconds. This is all made from .8 I have two days ago, mind you.

Sock puppet or it didn't happen...

All this thread needs is for me to change my avatar to a puppeteer pulling the strings  Smiley .

Can I invest in this site?  Grin
At this moment I still consider PrimeDice to be in alpha, we're overhauling a lot of our back-end and some of our design. I'm not comfortable considering investments until this site is complete. I do have the means to run it and believe I can guide it towards success which is why I don't want to sell shares so early. Taking investments would allow us to raise our max bet, thus it is still not something I'm taking off the table entirely.  I certainly do appreciate the support, when we're ready you will be amongst the first to be notified.

I have a sock puppet now. So I am going to claim that I turned 0.2 into 2.5. Then I will add, that I lost it all. hehe. I'm waiting for Stunna to update the Leaderboard, I want to see if I make the update.
We're working on making it so any player can convert their prime points to btc, not limited to only players on the leader board. I'm not sure if I want to rank the leader boards by prime points as players would deplete them as they are converted. The conversion would probably be a very small % of your total amount wagered, but would effectively lower the house edge of PrimeDice. I don't want to spoil much for the time being, but we're working on some massive updates which will improve everyone's experience of PrimeDice tremendously.

Stunna, I just wanted to say thanks for primedice. A few weeks ago I made .6 into 12 btc mostly through you, and I couldn't reply because I wasn't out of the newbie box thing. So I finally get to say thanks

Got that right. I made 0.8 into 11 today though, so I've been getting lucky with it.

Congratulations! It has been a pleasure to have you with us and we're glad you're doing well.  Smiley

We haven't been able to put out any notable updates to PD recently, I assure everyone that we are hard at work on some massive changes. Much of our back-end needs to be adjusted to make room for these changes which will be announced in the future! Our goal is to create the absolute best bitcoin gambling experience and we won't stop until that is achieved.

-Stunna

Just reiterating this, I've updated it so anyone can enter this even at this point. I've removed the 20 day requirement, I may lock the thread soon though to prevent lots of entries at end.
