Rec'd the .25 BTC from Stunna, he included a huge miner fee of .005 i noticed. By the way, I'm curious Stunna, I know of a lot of big winners and also a couple big losers...have u recovered at least 20% of the 212 BTC you lost the first night?

Unfortunately not, I'm happy with how quickly we are taking off though. Our goal in the short term isn't to make profit, it is simply to improve our website until I can firmly say it is the best experience possible. If we do end up making a profit in the short term it will be invested in giveaways and marketing rather than put in our pocket.

Grats to new winner! Certainly brings the light the fact that we require 4 confs for 20+ bitcoin transactions. Anyone think this is excessive?

I thought your max payout per bet was 5BTC. Not > 24BTC?!

He cashed out 24 :p. Max payout per bet is remaining 5 for the time being.

Okay, so the .25 BTC was refunded to the multiple bitzino wallets that sent the .25? Can you please provide a blockchain tx link for that transaction so I can email the bitzino owner. Thanks

Hey,

I'll manually send you .25 and I will contact the owner of bitzino myself. Please inbox me your address, want to make sure we get it right this time. That initial refund was done automatically.
3465  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting | Free BTC on: May 21, 2013, 04:46:56 PM
Hey Stunna,
Have a problem and hope you can help out with this. I was playing on bitzino and withdrew my balance to Prime Dice in the amount of .25 BTC. I did not know your deposit address changes with every login for your address. I was using my cashout address 1Fy1AwqEkXesQAuuzX8LXpiR9UU4xTwDV9. I was hoping that since I stopped playing that when the .25 arrived it would be sent .2495 to my cashout address, however it was not. If you could provide me the refund tx if there is one that would be great. I will have to email the owner of bitzino probably since he will not know where the .25 came from.

Here is a link to the tx ID of the .25 prime dice deposit from bitzino:

Thanks,

Looking into this now, will edit when done.

EDIT: Your coins were refunded in full momentarily after this happened. Sorry for any inconvenience, please check your wallet Smiley. Also important to note that we have made it so your deposit address should update automatically when it changes without a refresh when a session ends, so this issue is unlikely to occur in the future.

Also we are temporarily removing the 0.0001 bonus until we are able to handle the stress from people botting this on roll speed.
3466  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting | Free BTC on: May 21, 2013, 10:49:50 AM
so stunna, is it safe for me to do the deposit to my current address? Im afraid same thing might happen :/

Im using bitcoin wallet qt tho to make the transaction

I think Zaih summed it up quite nicely. It is basically more or less an issue that affects individuals.

Keep in mind though if this ever did happen to you, you'd be immediately cashed out. Whenever a session dies you are cashed out. So you should never be worried about losing your hard earned coins."

In the last guys case, he had less than 0.0005 balance, so the miners fee couldn't be funded by the cashout. This goes without saying that this issue will be temporary.

For people that asked about bots: Yesterday I used a bot for several hours using a variant of the martingale system (bet on >66.67 with payout 2.97 to prevent betting much on long losing streaks) and I went up from my free 0.0001 to around 0.0012. The site owner didn't tell me to stop so I guess it's not forbidden.

Okay. Nice, but I still want some real permission.

Also, I would like them to make the website a little lot faster. I think they should implement JSONp response everywhere, including BTC Address login thingy.

Well, waiting for Stunna to answer.

As for botting, we're more than happy to have people bot. It's just if you do so with free accounts, please respect our 30 accounts per day max. I understand it's fairly easy to get around this, however your honoring of this would be much appreciated. The free-rolls weren't intended for this purpose.

Also we are fully aware and working on the speed issue and are working towards achieving a permanent fix!

You're not the only person with this problem. This will be sorted as swiftly as possible. I'll let you know when this has been addressed.
3468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Beware of PrimeDice.com on: May 21, 2013, 09:56:09 AM
Good job bro with that attitude. Losing your free btc and complaining without providing any possible ways for Stunna to fix it aint helping.

I too faced the same problem and at least tried to find out whats wrong, double posting doesnt help. "Period"

I believe we found out why your problem was occurring. It was because your IP was changing very fast, which I don't think is fixable on their system without allowing people to unfairly gain access to peoples balances.

This guy probably has a similar problem. I guess you can't rly call it a bug, more or less a problem on his end. A bit like some people are unable to play certain games due to computer specs; It doesn't mean the games buggy, it's just not compatible with some people.

You can always try a different gambling game OP.

I can also assure you if you some how lost your BTC on PrimeDice that Stunna would refund you + more in compensation haha.

Exactly, thank you for clarifying. To me it seems this was just posted to push this result into google searches.

PrimeDice.com is bugy , I lost my btc.

PrimeDice.com is bugy , I lost my btc.

As stated in your other thread you posted regarding PrimeDice:

Hey,

Your account ID hasn't deposited any Bitcoins. You were using the free balance, therefor you haven't lost any Bitcoins at all. You can simply put in a new address and get the free balance once again.

Your session died due to you either changing your IP or someone else tried logging into your account. This is how our system is based off & is a reason why we offer a fairly unique service. Without these precuations (Killing your session) it would be possible to steal other peoples balances which would be very unfair.

If you had a balance over 0.0005 you would have been automatically cashed out (Miners fee needs to be covered).

It also seems very suspicious that you joined today and are instantly making an unfair accusation against us claiming to have lost BTC which is a blatant lie. It almost seems like your competition trying to ruin our reputation. If your intent was genuine you could have simply sent me a private message or email, if you have further questions I can be reached at support@primedice.com or through my inbox here.

Thanks,

Stunna

Added...  Welcome!

Hey, would appreciate it if you could add PrimeDice.com to your list. Users don't need to make an account, they just enter their address and get a 0.0001 free-roll. If they lose it they can keep getting more by putting in new addresses.

Thanks.  Smiley

Aww, where's PrimeDice Sad I want my free 0.0001 coins xD

It's back, but where are the 0.0001 coins?  Is the promotion over?  Or am I doing it wrong?

Seems to work fine for me, try a different address.  Wink

We have not yet implemented any new features/updates, we were mainly just improving the back end a bit. Those will begin in 3.5 hours, PrimeDice will remain up however during those changes.

EDIT: Rolls should be a lot faster now. However, they still aren't where we'd like them. Within the next 5 hours we'll have rolls near instant.

And we're back up! Sorry for the downtime.

Rolls should be full speed again Smiley.

We're undergoing technical issues, we will be back in 1-3 hours, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone. Nobody appeared to be betting other than a bot, they will be cashed out and I will manually send them a bonus when we are back online.

We need to implement some quick fixes to deal with the lag and other issues and will hopefully be back up soon.

Please PM me or email Support@PrimeDice.com with any issues.

EDIT: May take longer than expected, will post updates via twitter.com/primedice

As mentioned before we're still encountering significant lag, our developer projected this but didn't think we'd get enough bets over such a short period of time for this to occur. Fixing this is our main priority.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
3476  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ads now blocked by AdBlock Plus EasyList on: May 20, 2013, 07:20:19 PM
Sorry theymos. I don't agree on being forced to see something, I think the users should have a decision.

If you disagree, remove this post. And hope you don't ban me for this.

Personally I think the ads are very reasonable. No more distracting than a signature. Anything that helps to keep the forums free and ensures longevity while being nothing more than minor disturbance is more than fair. When I think about it though I prefer to have the ads as they display some interesting businesses and often some cool quotes/tips.
3477  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting | Free BTC on: May 20, 2013, 05:22:06 PM
quick question, is there a way to use my current wallet balance (lets say, 0.1btc *lol i know..just started mining last week Tongue) to play at primedice?

Yes, you just go to "send coins" at your wallet, and send them to your deposit address.
just did the deposit at the amount of 0.001btc. Strangely why is it the deposit address keep changing? Will my 0 balance be updated soon? Because its been 30mins since and no changes on it yet  Undecided

Hey, it should only take several seconds. Check your wallet and see if it sent it back to you. Generally issues like this are related to session termination and the coins make it back to your wallet after a short amount of time.

If not, please PM me your ID and I will rectify the situation.

Also, we are aware of most of the issues that were mentioned above as they've been mentioned previously. Our developers and I will be going through a massive PDF of them this week, our main initial priority is speeding up rolls and the site though. Expect everything to be fully functional soon, a larger than expected # of bets has thrown us off.

There are a lot of changes/updates in the works and we're going to continue to listen to all feedback and adjust the site accordingly.

Also thanks to Zaih, Boelens, bitspill and others for helping out others when I was offline! Smiley

Hello PrimeDice,
When I login with the same payout address on the same PC, it still resets the balance to 0!

Please do something, also, I din't receive any cashout even at that point.
I did NOT log out but just opened the browser after 1 day. I don't exactly remember the balance but it was lower than minimum withdrawal. I thought I would continue when I open the browser the next day.
As far as I can think, you are taking PHP Session wrongly in code or cookie timeout is very low.

Thanks for the feedback. Noted this & will pass it onto our developer. Should be a fairly easy fix. Thanks.

Sent you & Doog some small tips to your donation/BTC addresses. Cheers.

Did you logout prior to this happening? What was your balance at the time? I think your session may have died with under a minimum withdrawel. If you can let me know what happened exactly I can compensate you appropriately & make sure it never happens again.

Thanks Smiley
3480  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting | Free BTC on: May 20, 2013, 06:20:31 AM
Suggestion:

In case of api_bet.php, return JSON response and parse it client side. Current setup is in-efficient, has repeated HTML, higher use of bandwidth.

As more players are now playing, the website is getting slower, you should consider more powerful servers or make the code efficient.

Same can be said for show_balance.php, it returns HTML. Return just the balance value and set it using javascript.

Hey all,

Yeah, our rolls are becomign EXCEEDINGLY slow and this is a massive problem. This will surely be fixed within the next few hours. Thanks for helping point this out.

We realized with our current method & server, over time the rolling would become slower, but we honestly didn't expect this much attention so quickly. I understand how the lag is extremely annoying, so please bare with us as we fix it

Sorry for any inconvenience! Once this is fixed it will be more or less permanent and "half animation"rolls will be the norm just as when we released Smiley.

Thanks!

* I guess the obvious would be to show a graph of the distribution of percentiles rolled - both for the current player, and for the site as a whole.  Break it down into 100 'buckets' (<1%, 1-2%, 2-3%, etc).  Then we can easily see whether the RNG is skewed towards the higher numbers (not that I imagine it is, for a second, since it's just SHA1).
* In my bet history, show me the server and client seeds per bet, so I can verify them later.  Otherwise I have to make a note for each bet.
* How about letting me edit the payout multiplier, and have it calculate the percentage thingy from that?  And let me edit the 'bet return' field and have it calculate the bet from that.
* A 'bet all' button would be useful so I don't have to copy lots of digits when making a last-ditch attempt to recover my balance.

Honestly appreciate all your feedback. Have a notepad at the moment with everything you've suggested and will be fixing the majority of things you have noted within the week. If you find more things please keep them coming Smiley
Thanks!

Also congrats to Fun on a 15 BTC cashout a minute ago, thanks for putting up with the lag and sticking with us. Will be fixed soon.
