Honestly I highly doubt this.
3542  Economy / Goods / Re: Starting a bitcoin to diamond exchange service PROS and CONS on: May 15, 2013, 05:35:57 AM
I will be selling Diamonds engraved with Bitcoin private keys:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=197793.0

We engrave in Antwerp, can ship internationally and securely, and have a real brick and mortar shop if you wanted to actually visit.

Looks very interesting
3543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Social Network (Poll) on: May 15, 2013, 05:32:54 AM
Seems pretty unnecessary. Nothing wrong with using existing social networks and sites like bitcointalk to achieve that same goal.
3544  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-05-06 knifeparty: Get 'Haunted House' with BitCoins on: May 15, 2013, 05:31:28 AM
The more artists accepting BTC the better Smiley

I'll give it a listen..
3545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin vault? on: May 15, 2013, 05:26:11 AM
Very nice, seems a bit too much though.
3546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Glass and Bitcoin on: May 15, 2013, 05:25:28 AM
Do you really, really need the pizza index in your face all day long?

3547  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: AMD stock going up, due to alot of people buying radeon cards for mining? on: May 15, 2013, 05:18:26 AM
Definitely not because of mining.

No matter the reason for their turnaround, I just hope that they put more of that money into CPU R&D.  We really need more competition in the CPU market.

I agree but unfortunately that won't be the case, they are trying to distance themselves as much as possible from CPU market.
3548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a lawyer, and I'm new here on: May 15, 2013, 02:52:59 AM
Welcome to the community, lots of opportunity for business/clients within the Bitcoin world.
3549  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: AMD stock going up, due to alot of people buying radeon cards for mining? on: May 15, 2013, 02:47:22 AM
AMD investor here.

Mining has most likely had a VERY small effect on the price of shares, GPU sales have not driven up the stock price. The price increase is mainly due to AMD's new restructuring/strategy looking more and more feasible. AMD is making a shift from the dying CPU market to gaming and is currently expected to have an APU unit in every PS4, Xbox 360, Steambox, and already the WiiU. Another thing that has been driving up the price of AMD is buyout rumors, it is believed that due to AMD's new shifting strategy it would be possible for Intel to buy them out without violating antitrust laws.

But simple short answer, GPU sales are not driving up AMD.
3550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gyft accepts bitcoins... demand to rise? on: May 15, 2013, 02:39:21 AM
Gyft is one of the things giving bitcoins some sort of real value. It will certainly help the prices in the long run.
3551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Liberty City Ventures Launches $15MM Investment Fund for Crypto Startups on: May 15, 2013, 02:38:15 AM
This is great, truly a smart investment for them, they are one of the few looking towards BTC businesses.
3552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions for the next bubble on: May 15, 2013, 02:36:44 AM
In my opinion it is hard to say but I feel it will be sometime this year.
3553  Economy / Speculation / Re: State your position on: May 15, 2013, 02:34:49 AM
I'm not really a bear nor a bull, I just want a stable price for bitcoins of $100 ideally.
3554  Economy / Speculation / Re: How strong is your hand? on: May 15, 2013, 02:33:10 AM
I bought my Bitcoins for business ventures and to use not to speculate/profit on directly.
3555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just when we see a stable price... on: May 15, 2013, 02:32:30 AM
Yup, always an uphill fight :\
3556  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Bitcoin speculation on: May 15, 2013, 02:30:21 AM
$110-120 is my prediction, will bounce back slightly.
3557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Google funding Ripple on: May 15, 2013, 02:28:36 AM
200k Is nothing to Google, I doubt they think much of it, this could eventually be bad news for BTC if google buys them out though.
3558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where wil Ex-Gox users be going? on: May 15, 2013, 01:59:16 AM
Most likely coinbase, the more competitors that enter the better though. There's still some room for serious innovation at this point.
3559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 15, 2013, 01:58:17 AM
CampBX too?  Meh.

So we've got some little 5-10k sells going on.  Not really that big a deal.

But... watch for the insider trading, like a month ago.  We start seeing 25-50k dumps, then there really is a war on the exchanges - we just haven't been told about it yet.  But the insiders will know amongst themselves.

I'll set some buy orders around $55-65 if the big dumps come - and maybe a flyer in the 40s.

I don't mind doubling my coinage.  This too shall pass...

If it drops to $90, I'd personally consider buying more.
3560  Economy / Services / Re: Amateur Artist for Bitcoin on: May 15, 2013, 01:53:15 AM
That's very very cool. Bookmarked for future use/reference.
