P.S. -- I haven't covered my short. I should. I am praying rather than responding at this point. I'm honest.
Forget about emotions, cover your shorts, you know better.

The bubble is starting 2 days earlier than my prediction though, close enough if it continues.
The monkey also wanted at least 2 more days.

Does your model eat bananas?

Nope, caviar soon Wink

Can somebody quote me on calling the bottom?
I would like to say "told you" in the future.

Today I had a new insight which confirms my previous prediction
about the next bubble start (which you can read at the left)
Do tell?

If this continues it looks like I was pretty god dam close to call the bottom!
If I happen to be right calling the start of the next bubble also I quit my dayjob and celebrate my prediction model.

Is there any precedent in terms of ATH as high as Bitcoin, then a crash as hard as the current one, and long term recovery into a lot higher heighs? can you find an asset that did this, ever?
Probably gold in the first years after they discovered it Smiley

Who else wishes they shorted bitcoin when it was 500-600$ with maximum leverage shouting 'f*ck you bitcoin'?

Give me $20, a copy of the daily chart, send me back in time 3 years and I would be a billionaire.  (5 years would be too easy.)

The hard part is the present: will be break up or down?  Later, everyone will say they wish they had position x at this time.  But right now, it is impossible to know what to do.

It's just simple. Either bitcoin is here to stay or it isn't.
If it's here to stay, we are just beginning.
If it isn't, get the hell out of here.

In my option if you are waiting for it to test $300, you will be waiting forever.  Shorting only pushes very low when there is large momentum and volume.  We are on the verge of a small rally to $520 - $530 ish then a slow down downtrend that could gather pace back to $390 - $380.   From there in late Q1 2015 it will be bubble time.

This is just how I see it. so don't rip into me if you disagree.

I'm holding and gaining 1.5% interest a month anyway, and can afford to be patient.  Patience wins usually in the long run.

Where do you gain 1.5% interest a month if I may ask?

Well i'm holding LTC at the moment and lending it out on bitfinex at 0.05% per day.

Isn't that more close to 2% a month?

edit: no it's not.

I agree that fundamentals are strong.

But the technicals are very bad and even if fundamentals remain strong, prices can go down a lot more

The fundamentals are strong outside China. But unfortunately most BTC trading is still in China, and as long as the
PBoC's stance on BTC doesn't improve, for the Chinese BTC is a sort of digital tulip bulbs.

Yes, the functionality of bitcoin is totally dependent on the Chinese.
Thank god there are Chinese people on this earth, without them the world would stop spinning.

1,357 Billion Chinese people & Discuss Fish is now n°1 mining pool
gogo China?! ^^

Yes, I see. China is ruling the world. Again, without them the world would stop spinning.

1497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is The Dumping of Stolen Coins Causing BTC Price to Fall? on: September 21, 2014, 11:11:42 AM

This is an immutable, self-evident, mathematical truth. Two technologies fulfilling the same purpose usually do not coexist for very long, in historical terms. The old way dies, naturally, as the new grows to take it's place.

Bitcoin is on the right side of the chart. The surviving side. Fiat money is not. That's the big picture, folks.

if this were true then we would all need to escape Bitcoin and fall over to Litecoin as Litecoin is the newer of crypto compared to Bitcoin?

LTC doesn't provide any significant new technology above BTC.
It's just something like a Chinese copy of bitcoin. Just like there are hundreds of fiat currencies. But bitcoin is significant other than fiat currencies.
1498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 20, 2014, 01:45:25 PM
Not sure why people think that a BTC will be worth shit at the end.

Cant you see the price is being manipulated at this very moment? The price goes UP. Than a DUMP follows.

Imagine what this would look like without the dumps. Imagine where Bitcoin would be at that time. Just remember, dumping will not be forever. I feel a big fucking spurt rocketeering towards fucking MARS happening very soon. As in a month or two.
Dumping in a declining trend means selling to strong (or stupid) hands.
In the end, the strong (or stupid) hands will own many of the coins.
If fundamentals don't change, buying them back from them will be difficult to do it cheap.
