I think we can get back to $400 within a 7 day window. I really don't understand the reasoning behind the downward pressure we have been seeing lately. Who has run the numbers on the cost to produce 1BTC (through mining lately)? It has to be close to a loss right now, correct?
Well, it's the same they say about gold and silver. That price should also be below mining costs,.. however,.. price is still decliningedit: just buy and hold. Can someone explain to me what negative difficulty means, is it good or bad?(total noob here) it only means it is decreasing instead of increasing, this means that older mining machines are going offline for not being profitable anymore, this is not bad, this is the end of the ASIC era. It could also be related by the feds disconnecting the Butterfly labs mining rigs. |

Three weeks ago I went on holidays: price was around 470 and I was specting to surpass 550 from my return, which seemed even bargain at that 550 price. Instead, I find THIS INSANE PRICE.
Could someone explain me in 3-4 lines what the hell has happened in the last 17 days? Some major news or just 'normal' price fluctuation?
Whatever, I guess I will be purchasing 3-4 more bitcoins in this trend down... my wife is not going to understand this time...

Ask yourself one question, why is finex bid side so populated with more than 12k coins down to $300. They want these coins cheaply with margin calls.
well, I can tell you that someone is placing those asks on stamp like a pro, and bitfinex guys have a history of dumping those margin calls through some advance non automatic procedures, like placing them as asks when and where they find it suitable. maybe they are "evil manuplators"? It's all fun and games til someone turns up and buys ten thousand coins. I promise I will @ $0,01 |
