1462  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: November 06, 2015, 07:02:02 AM
Gosh! The pay rates have decreased to 0.0007 BTC for senior members? Glad that it gets reflected in the next payment and not the current one.

The price rose by over 100% and payments decreased by 30%, after several weeks of a rising price. I think that's fair enough.

not with the limit, without the limit yes i don't care about the rate, but the limit really kill this campaign....

Anyone is free to leave at any time.

hey marco
why you removed me from the campaign? u didnt even notify..
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Whats the Difference when you use BTC? on: August 27, 2015, 09:52:30 PM
I think it helps me get rid of credit cards and the traditional banking system, which is time consuming, expensive and ofcourse now you have your own currency where you can buy goods online even without credit cards, Previously it was like credit cards were the monopolist when it comes to online shopping but now we don have alternate option in the form of bitcoins  Grin
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: August 27, 2015, 09:47:48 PM
Hi!  Smiley
How BTC bitcoin developed in your country? Are there many people in your real life that you know that use BTC ?
I come from a India.Despite being the house of 1bn people I dont see much awareness about btc here.I have yet to meet someone in person who uses btc

Yeah that is true, I visited India few years back, and for my surprise no one was aware about the bitcoins, and I even didn't find a single physical shop that accepts bitcoins, So I was bit worried, and I asked many of my friends too who belongs to India but they said they have never heard about the bitcoins, So I believe that India has a huge population even half of the Indians starts using bitcoins it would be a great advantage for the bitcoin community.
1465  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 27, 2015, 09:43:26 PM
yes i have 1 bitcoin i buy for investment and i want to sell when price $1000

1 BTC is nothing if you look at today's value, you should atleast hold 100 BTC than you are rich, as we all know that the value of bitcoin is continuously falling and even if you have 1 BTC than I don't think that it is too much valuable, unless it hits $1000 mark, and that is simply not possible at this stage, So we should keep on growing bitcoins in order to have better life ahead.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Adoption on: August 27, 2015, 09:38:14 PM
In my opinion, Bitcoin right now is where the internet was in the 80-90's. Once people realise the advantages of the decentralized currency, they will come... or they will stay with their fiat currency and when we face the consequences of money printing, debt spiral and financial slavery (Greece for example, can't inflate their currency and get out of debt, because Germany and ECB doesn't allow them to do it.), when people realise that, they will come.

Simply there is no other alternative. Even gold, because we live in a digital world plus the real innovation is not the Bitcoin itself, but the technology behind it, which is blockchain.

At the same time, volatility is becoming less of an issue. Right now volatility is really low, we are in 224 days of consolidation period. Also at times Bitcoin was actually less volatile even than the Euro.

You need to be patient, there is a lot room for improvement yet. Do you think that big companies will not use bitcoin to make there international money transfers, which are super expensive right now? Of course they will, but Bitcoin is not ready yet.

Do you think that people in Africa will use credit/debit cards made by Goldman? Of course not! The current financial system is not a scalable model, but Bitcoin is!

Do you think that immigrants will continue to use Western Union to send money to there families? Of course not. Once people realise that they can do it much cheaper through bitcoin, they will change their habits!

Banks are releasing this, that's why they started talking a lot about blockchain (they don't use the word "Bitcoin" because it has association with the deep web).

Yeah, once people starts knowing the concept of bitcoins it would definitely attract them towards bitcoins, as at present everyone have heard about it but very few have used it, once they are aware about the benefits of bitcoins, they would surely switch from banks and WU to bitcoins as it is very cheap and time saving too.
1467  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2015, 09:33:19 PM
my worst mistake that i made with my bitcoin was gambling them. because no matter what i do i always end up losing without any profit.

You should stop gambling if luck in not favoring you, you would simply keep on loosing bitcoins in gambling, either you should find some other safe ways to grow your bitcoins and should keep it safe in a cold storage, we all want that our bitcoins should get doubled in quick time and that is the reason we choose gambling as it is the only way to grow bitcoins quickly, but at the end we loose  Angry
1468  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: August 27, 2015, 09:30:18 PM
I would sell all by bitcoins if… bitcoin price is hitting 1000 dollars or more, but only if this happened in the next few years if it happened in let’s say 10 years I will still hold.

It would take a long time to reach that price dude. I don't see that price in coming period of time, and if we hold it for say next 10 years to reach that value than we are not sure that bitcoins would exist that long or not as there would be many other new currencies into the market which can easily replace bitcoins, so it is a big question mark on the future of bitcoins.
1469  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2015, 08:33:47 PM
The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

It 's easy to predict without any arguments  Smiley
What make you think Bitcoin is about to go mainstream? Amazon accepting BTC in 2016?

Well yes, Amazon i have a feeling that will accept btc, on that way bitcoin price will change a lot. It should and the Ebay integrate the bitcoin as a payment method. In this way while big e-commerce companies include this payment method the price of bitcoin will increase and people will be more interested to invest in bitcoin.

Call me pessimistic, but I seriously doubt anything like Amazon or Ebay adopting Bitcoin would take place next year. There is currently no benefit for merchants to accept Bitcoin, and there is even proof to suggest that Bitcoin acceptance hurts sales (I believe Firefox is the one that made the study).

Anyways, we are a long ways away from mass adoption. Price fluctuation in 2016? I would be upset if it didn't, with the halving and all. However, I don't think that is enough to boost Bitcoin into the mainstream.

I accept that there can be a loss for amazon if they had added bitcoin this year, we know 300s at the beginning of this year and now 200s and if ebay and amazon implemented this then they would lose -33.33%.
I think they are waiting for bitcoin price to be stable and implement it.

Oh no, I don't mean holding Bitcoin at all. Just by adding Bitcoin as a payment option, companies can lose overall sales. In other words, even if you use a payment processor that transacts the purchases to USD instantly, companies will experience a loss in revenue.

I read up on it a while back, so I don't have too precise of information, but the premise was as followed: Mozilla Firefox began accepting Bitcoin donations. Donations spiked up a bit as everyone who wanted to donate with Bitcoin did at the start. Most people only donated once, and after accepting Bitcoin, donations overall dropped a bit (which was allegedly caused by a loss of credibility in the eyes of potential donators through the acceptance of Bitcoin). In other words, the small group that you could potentially win over by accepting Bitcoin is smaller than the group you could potentially lose from accepting Bitcoin.

In this case I agree completely with you, there will be always a loss to convert bitcoin to usd immediately, but it can be profits too(but rare). When we donate via bitcoin we think that we donated x btc but in fact it was different when the donation was collected at the end of the "campaign".
Let's hope for the 2016, but there are 4 more months in 2015.

Yeah and everyone believes that year 2016 would be the year of bitcoins as it's value would be reaching to a new level, atleast it would give us some profits in the year, as right now the value of bitcoin is going down and that is the reason everyone is worried about, but lets hope for the best that it would give us some good returns in the year 2016.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2015, 08:28:49 PM
though not recommended , for me the best way is gambling and investing on ponzi Grin but its also the best way to lose ur btc quickly
no pain, no gain

If you will push that thinking and you are a risk taker then it's much better to gamble in sports betting than those house edge gambling type. More chances of winning here. But overall, gambling is not recommended.

Nobody can recommend gamble, because it is a responsibility. Because of that, everybody responsible themself and if somebody try to grow his/her bitcoin, he can play gamble with his/her request. On the ıther hand, gamble is the easy way to loose a lot of money.

If you start thinking that you are gonna make profit from gamble then you will end losing them that you had. Start some other methods like cloud mining, trade etc.

Exactly, you cannot afford to loose bitcoins in gambling as it is not the right way to grow your bitcoins, you may win and it would make you greedy that you can still win and you keep on gambling again and again, but at the end of the day you would loose, no one gets rich by gambling only the owners of gambling sites will get richer and richer  Angry
1471  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate womens to use Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2015, 08:24:52 PM
how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..

Just need to tell them that you can use it for shopping that's it  Grin

As we all know that womens are more attracted towards shopping and they have habit of spending fiat for shopping or else credit cards, we need to tell them bitcoins are the most convenient and easiest way to make purchases and they would surely get motivated to use bitcoins if they can purchase their favorite brands by using bitcoins  Grin
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: August 27, 2015, 08:21:42 PM
I tried telling how bitcoin works to some of my friends and family members. They seem to be amazed at how things work for bitcoin and I even showed them some of my conversions of fiat to bitcoin and vice-versa

That is the best thing to do, If we concentrate more on advantages rather than the disadvantages than people would be more attracted towards bitcoins, as everyone is interested and attracted towards the good things and not the bad things, So if we show them the positive side of bitcoins like online purchases, online transfers etc they would surely start using bitcoins.
1473  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: August 27, 2015, 08:19:11 PM
Bitcoin is unique and should be liked with everything is has.I like in it best more freedom and low fee while I can transfer funds and buy stuff online hassle free

The decentralised factor is the best when it comes to bitcoins, as no other currency gives you this feature and also the best thing is that you can carry as much amount of bitcoins with you in your digital wallet, and no one would even come to know that you have this amount of coins in your digital wallet, as carrying a fiat have a certain limits when it comes to traveling across the countries, but not the same goes with bitcoins.
1474  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you entered your wallet and you found 50BTC what you will do ? on: August 27, 2015, 08:14:20 PM
I would exchange it to my bank account and would be really happy Smiley

Free 10k usd Smiley

If it is send by accident, i will return it. But if it is in a new created wallet, i cant give back...

Regards,
Joust

If it is sent by a known person by accident than that is fair enough to return it back, but what if it is sent by unknown person? Would you still return it back?? And the answer is NO. Nobody would return it back as 50 BTC is a huge amount and if that is reflecting in your wallet than I think that you are lucky and it is same as gambling, as gambling is also totally depends on luck factor, So I think you should have fun with that  Grin
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 13, 2015, 11:14:22 AM
A lot of people complaining. the problem is people giving their money to some random person they do not know.

That is true, last week I was looking to sell one of my senior member account, and the buyer asked me not to involve any escrow as escrow have their own charges, he said me that you give me user name and password and I will send bitcoins to your address, how can I trust him without knowing him, so whatever trade you do, involve escrow in it or else don't trade.

That was a good decision, never do that unless you don't know him personally, but involving escrow is the best thing to do, as there are many scammers moving around to steal your bitcoins and in your case if you would have provided him username and password he would have simply changed the password and disappeared and once the password is changed you cannot do anything.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: August 13, 2015, 11:10:47 AM
If bitcoin goes mainstream , it will be fun. Just imagine paying for everything via bitcoin , sounds too good

sounds fantastic, but it will take a good amount of years will we ever see global adoption. we need patience and support bitcoin by buying things with it.

Yes patience pays, definitely we need to be more patient and optimistic related to bitcoins as we know that it can be a major currency in the future, if it gets into a mainstream than that would be a blessing for people as they can buy anything by using bitcoins and decentralisation is an added advantage with bitcoins, as a bitcoin users we want that it should get on mainstream as soon as possible.
1477  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 13, 2015, 11:05:47 AM
I have 6 right now, aren't I rich.

You are rich dude, i have 5 at a moment, and honestly speaking I have won it in gambling and I am really happy with it, but I would make sure that I won't gamble it now anymore and keep my bitcoins safe in cold storage as I know that I cannot win at every time, would love to play it safe by earning it from signature campaigns.

Congrats dude.

Congrates Man, for me you are already a super rich guy, only suggestion would like to give is store your bitcoins in super secure wallet so that scammers cannot get in touch with that as it is your hard earned coins.

And another thing is that, make sure that you don't gamble often or else as you said you cannot win everytime, as the success ratio in gambling is very low, So now try to double your coins with hard work and not by gambling  Grin
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: August 13, 2015, 10:58:31 AM
when i see the conditions now, i wanna stay. like you say it. its can That could happen at any time too.
for now we can use it and there is no problem, but anything can be happen.

What do you mean about the conditions ?
what when bitcoin prices fell to $ 10 per coin, will you go?
Lol, if priced went back to $10, I'd be buying a lot of bitcoins, and I'm sure it'll jump at least to 20 - 30 dollars again Cheesy

If that would be the scenario than I would invest all my money into bitcoins, as we know that atleast it would reach again to minimum 50$ mark, and would sell all my bitcoins and earn a huge profit and have a great retirement life, I think staying is the good option to have as we know that in future it would definitely reach to a new level and we would earn smart profits.

That would be great if it happens, but we need to practical and we know that it won't get that low and I think we should not underestimate the power of bitcoins as it is going to grow more and more in the future, ofcourse the adoption level would play an important part in deciding the value of bitcoins in the future.
1479  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2015, 10:55:21 AM
I started using bitcoins couple of months back in early 2015 when I came to know that you can gamble with it and that also with very small amount which no other currency offers So I started using bitcoins for gambling.

But then I came to know other benefits of bitcoins like online payment, online purchases, online transfers So I started to get involved in it and started to earn more and more bitcoins that were possible by me.
1480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: August 13, 2015, 10:49:39 AM
Fluctuates way too much nowadays.

Yeah, actually I gamble sometimes, last week I gambled about 0.062 BTC on a gambling site, and when I posted a bet, The message was shown that "No Bets Were Received" and I lost my 0.062 BTC and when I mailed them they said that you don't have enough money in your wallet, but the BTC already got debited from my account but was not showing in blockchain..really confused.
