1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet saids: “Stay Away From Bitcoin” on: June 13, 2015, 07:54:01 PM
His first saying is do not invest in anything you do not understand. That's why he never touched tech or internet companies. He's old school, and avoiding Bitcoin is understandable.

Yes we know that he is the one of the richest person of the world but it doesnt make him that he is correct in whatever he says like today new technologies are getting into play and he has never been into the tech world so how can he be so sure about the bitcoins and he have never used bitcoin so I believe we should just ignore him

He got to be one of the richest people of the world through gambling on stocks, shares, and currencies. I'm sure he knows more than most will ever do about his investment choices, but ultimately he took gambles and got lucky. Why should we take his advice not to gamble on Bitcoin, especially as he doesn't understand it? By telling people not to gamble on Bitcoin he has become a gambler telling people not to gamble.

Great Point. I simply agree with you.

The best thing is to listen to yourself rather than listening to others. We know that he is a great person but now we should not forget that there is a generation gap and the youth of this generation are much more smarter than the traditional people they will not get carried away with the news they will do only what they believe in themselves.

I think he have totally lost it. And what else you can expect from him at this age?? lol.. The generation gap and the technology gap plays an important role he still believe what he used to believe in the past he is not in tune with the latest technology and one more point is he doesn't hold bitcoin so he is against it  Wink
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: June 13, 2015, 07:51:13 PM
Do you use Bitcoin at least once a month? What do you actually use it for? Why? Is it better, cheaper, faster, more convenient than alternatives? Is it the only option?

I'm use at least once per week. I'm usually use it for purchase games online cash and the rest I keep it up.
I'm also so amaze at the first time when I'm know this unique currency. No other currency can be like this one that's why I love it.
There's not possible to be a rich guy when holding on bitcoin  because it's still have a future.

I use bitcoin once in each and single day whether it is for online shopping or gambling. Generally I use it more for the gambling purpose as it is the best thing to do i guess. As you don't have disclose your identity that makes it much more safer and attractive as no one is aware who is using it for gambling.  Grin
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I guess people are using bitcoins for takeaway on: June 13, 2015, 07:48:12 PM
alt coins are only in the hands of a few in my country, no company uses altcoin, in fact very few know about alt coins even though there have been some national exposure. Sad

and altcoins are very risky and more volatile as compared to bitcoins so it is not safe to do investment in altcoins and we don't know about the future of altcoins it might get vanished in coming next months but we are much more sure about the bitcoins that it will last for longer period of time

Yes if you want to invest then invest in bitcoins as compared to altcoins as we do not know the future of altcoins. But we are much sure that bitcoin will last for longer as compared to the altcoins people are much more attracted to altcoins as they pay higher rate of returns in short time but we need to think of the future. And for the future bitcoin is the best option.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to pack it up on: June 13, 2015, 07:44:48 PM
Pack it up? Wait for a couple months and you'd see MasterCard trying to buy the bitcoin enterprise.

LOLZ..

No need to pack it up for bitcoin community I think it should go right with the mastercard as they already have started loosing their customers for the sake of bitcoins and why people should pay mastercard for their services as they are getting it almost for free by the bitcoins. BYE BYE Master Card. Grin

Its not an end of mastercard I guess as it is only a payment system and I don't understand why master card is going against the bitcoin as they are also very much aware that bitcoin is not going to affect them much as it is a currency and the people who trust master card will always follow the master card as a mode of payment.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: June 13, 2015, 07:34:49 PM
The best investment method i think is trading. But you must know about market price before you try it. You can hold your BTC for several weeks or months than you look market price. The other way is altcoin trading. It's faster than BTC trading, but it has high risk, so i don't recommend it. The last thing i want you to know, be careful when you choose trading site or you'll lose your BTC Wink
i want to add that with great risk comes great rewards. especially now that bitcoin market is stable and boring, altcoin market is a good choice for getting some good profit out of it.
of course it is not easy and not for everyone to jump in and start profiting, it is a good way to double or triple your investment in a short time.
I am yet to find some decent altcoins, but it seems that many of them suggest altcoins but it comes with a price tag of hefty risk. I am planning to up my investment to 40 btc, looking for the right thing to get a good return.

How do u like doing that cloudthink.io promotion on your sig/avatar?

I noticed that they are advertising this with full members and above. Have you gotten some btc pay out of this yet?  Do they pay you by how many times you post on bitcointalk?  I thought about signing up for one of these ad services once I get established.

You might reconsider that campaign. There are strong hints that the project is faked, so to say, its most probably a scam. They used pictures to show their own project since someone found out they took the pictures from another project. And other things. See the following threads:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1076500.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1074272.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1076517.0

It is totally a SCAM.. Don't go on their higher payouts and don't get greedy. Just remember "Slow N Steady Wins The Race" So I believe to join some genuine signature campaign no doubt even the pay out is not much higher as compared to cloudthink.io but you are getting paid on weekly basis and thats the best thing;.

You cannot be so sure that it is a scam as it is making a payment on regular basis so it would be too early to make a judgement that it is a scam. The people are against it as they are not able to digest the pay out they are making and surely they will say it is a scam but it might prove to be the best campaign in the future if it is genuine as its payout is the maximum.
1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Ever Take Out a Loan in Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2015, 07:31:14 PM
I would never take out a Bitcoin loan on this site. There are too many scammers here, either I will end up never getting the money back or the price of Bitcoin would rise by so much I would not be able to pay back the loan. It's best to earn and save the money you need up front.

I believe it too. It is useless to go for loan on bitcoins as i don't think its an safe thing to do. There are more chances of loosing your hard earn coins to the hands of scammers who keeping watch on your bitcoins and you cannot trust anyone over the internet so it is better to stay away from it.
1547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mastercard attacking Bitcoin on: June 13, 2015, 07:28:30 PM
Convenience offered Bitcoin become a serious rival to mastercard on trying than complicate  bitcoin regulation,Mastercard trying better to make inovasi or new event to attract consumers.

That is true but master card is just an payment system it is not a currency like bitcoins so I do not understand why they are attacking bitcoins as the customer segments are different for both the products and people who believes in paying by card they would generally prefer master card and not bitcoins.
1548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin mean to you (A poll) on: June 13, 2015, 07:26:05 PM
Money, obviously Grin

Also yeah, sending payment is easier now, also "let's hope to get richhh!!!!"

Yes and for me it is an future investment which can give me best return on investments in the future which no other financial product can give. So I believe in investing in bitcoin at present and hold it for the future and sell it when it gives me right price and right return on my investments.

To me holding bitcoins is a fun and I am loving it. I can buy any product online by using bitcoin and I don't have disclose my bank details or credit card details that is the best part of having bitcoins in your wallet and I am not  sure about the future as I believe in present and If the prices goes high at a moment I won't hesitate in selling it out at a higher price.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: June 13, 2015, 07:22:03 PM
In my country nobody is aware about the bitcoin and if I suggest them or try to give them some knowledge about bitcoin they are simply not interested. They simply say why should invest in such a product which we are not aware about. They generally prefer to invest in gold, land and shares as they trust it more.
Everyone has their own concerns and not always interesting to listen to the tales of Bitcoins and how I bought cheaply and sold more expensive.
Quote
you need to make more efforts
It makes no sense to put more effort. Bitcoin has no referral system. Cheesy

The people who are tech advanced and know what bitcoin is they will start using it and they don't need any knowledge giving from your end and those who are not aware and not using they will never go for bitcoins how much efforts you keep in or how much you try to educated them regarding bitcoin they will never entertain it.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard makes the case that it’s safer and faster than Bitcoin! LOL on: June 13, 2015, 07:17:29 PM
I'm surprised to see so many critics of Mastercard. It's a good service, with millions of satisfied customers all over the world. What we must see is that BTC is much more than Mastercard because it's also a currency. Mastercard is only a fast and efficient payment system. You cannot invest any money in a Mastercard.

What you are saying is absolutely correct. Then why mastercard view bitcoin as threat to its customers. And why they are involved in the negative publicity of bitcoin as they know it wont affect them much as mastercard is a payment system and bitcoin is a currency so i think mastercard should mind their own business.
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2015, 07:14:14 PM
signature campagne seems to be on the top

Yes as it is the safest way to earn bitcoin without any risk involved in it. But you should be sure that which signature campaign are you joining as there are many fake campaigns going around so you need to join the trusted one even if they are giving low payout

Signature campaign and trading is the best way to grow your bitcoins at present. As it is quiet safe and returns are for sure unless you are with a genuine campaign. Cloudthink.io is paying right now maximum but it is difficult to trust it as this high payout is simply not possible.
1552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 13, 2015, 07:11:40 PM
first of all you should suggest them to watch the video on youtube "Rise and Rise of Bitcoin"
Long wanted to see this video but there is no translation for my country. If I watch the original, I do not understand a lot of things.
Unfortunately the voice acting make the film is expensive.

I think it is available in english and I don't know which country you belong to but its a must watch video that is for sure. Talking about my friends they view it as an risky affair as they are not aware about it so they don't want to get involved into it or rather i can say they don't want to experiment with their investments.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: June 13, 2015, 07:08:29 PM
bitcoin in long term  should have a bright future and that gives the reasons that we are all here talking about it.

Yes dont go with the current value it is definitely going to create history in the future so the best way is to hold it for a moment and wait for the right value and at present you can also go for trading where you can earn good amount of profit and it would be stupidity to leave it at a moment.

Genius way to save money, bitcoins, and other valuable things

yeah saving and investing goes together...saving in bitcoin at present is the best option as you know that you are gonna land safely in the future and the other thing i would prefer is gold that can give you best return on investment and when it comes to bitcoin it is the future.
1555  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin value more Volatile? on: May 31, 2015, 10:47:09 PM
Well the Bitcoin market price is trying to hold it's ground in the recent past. It hovered a lot around 320 mark and then it's hovering around 230 mark. Hopefully it can become more stable and put an end to your agony.

That's true but it is as same as stock market the value keeps on increasing and decreasing and the value keeps on fluctuating but as per my knowledge and experience it is better to invest in bitcoin rather then going for stocks and i believe that bitcoin have something really special for us to offer.
1556  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: May 31, 2015, 10:41:38 PM
At least in the country I live;

Because I can't pay any foodstuffs with it..

Because I still have my Job entire pay with Fiat.

Because when I ask anyone what Bitcoin is, they make this face  Huh

If Bitcoin will be mainstream someday, then still it is a little kid.
Bitcoin help us financially and its great help to student like me that can't have a job right now. And because of bitcoin its help me a lot with my study.

The day Government will start accepting the bitcoin as a currency fiat will loose its value buy its like day dreaming and cannot afford to trust the government and the reason is people should start accepting bitcoin as a currency that is more important for the bitcoin community.
1557  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: May 31, 2015, 10:37:39 PM
Gambling is a profitable industry, specially when it is monopolized. That is why goverments gravitate into gambling. Gambling is allowed in all countries, it is just the degree of free market gambling that is different. Sometimes the government wants it all.

Not in all countries. In most part of the Asia I believe that it is illegal especially in the middle east countries and/or in the country where the Religion law is strong enough . Though there are alot of illegal gambling activites in such countries but if the legal feds finds out who operate it, the operator would be charge with fine and prison sentences . In some countries however ( like you stated, especially the west side ), the goverment legalized gambling and got a income in form of tax from it

Most of the countries that are legal to gambling is in the country that have a democracy government, because its a free country and you can do what you want and their law are not strong so that foreigner went to that country and they just do a wrong thing and make a money and not having any doubts that they will caught because they know that , the law of that country are weak. LIKE  PHILIPPINES.

Your logic got some flaw and you might want to take a quick snap at google for the word "democracy". Democracy doesnt mean that you can do whatever you want. It actually mean that you are free to choose who to govern you. Instead law in democracy country is strong and based on "not guilty until it is proven". Also democracy means that the highest power is from the people
But by the meaning of democracy government didn't follow. And if you live in this country you will know what exactly what I mean. So only said that and you only refer to its meaning not into the situation of the Philippines.

I do live in a Democracy country and that is why I knew about this thing that is why I relay to the fact about what I knew about Democracy country. It is not that the law is not strong in philippines, it just that the population is too many and that most people there are living not according to the rules, this actually makes an assumption that the law in that country is not strong enough
Not really the problem is the population, the problem is the people who have a power to control or to rule this country. You won't understand me until you live in this country and if you now the pork barrel scam, They scam the taxes that we pay its almost 10 billion pesos or $224 million. Think of that money, they must lend it to the people or give the people a good services and renovate the bridges, hospitals, schools etc.
Do you really think that government of your country will support bitcoin now or in coming future?? I don't think so..no government will support the adoption and usage of bitcoin in their country if the government is corrupted. It is a threat to the government and the banking system as a whole.
1558  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 31, 2015, 10:34:10 PM
Wow never saw that IBM thing, pretty cool

As i said if that would happen 2 years ago, everyone would talk about it. Now is so many news that it just dont attract so much attention anymore.

The main reason behind it is the competition bitcoin is facing from some other digital currencies like altcoins and this would continue in future too..but just remember daddy is daddy.. and it can never get dead as the financial gurus have said that it is the future currency.
1559  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 31, 2015, 10:30:58 PM
Best option is to buy bitcoin while its cheap hold it for a number of years and wait for prices to go back up. Got into BTC when it was at $13  a coin wish I had bought more than I  actually did then  and waited for 2013 and sold. Shame only bought like 60 to 80 of them and in time bought more sold more and exchanged. Should of just bought a tun of it when nice and cheap and enjoyed the return on it from going up so much.

Sounds Great..
I think this is the right time to invest in bitcoin if you want to make your future safe and secure. The prices have collapsed right now so I believe investing at right time is more important just buy it and forget it and when the prices go high sell a part of it and again buy when prices are down.

For a ordinary person whose income is not too high i think best thing for him is to save money rather than going for a investment. As your income is not too high there is hardly anything to invest so its better to save money which could be helpful at the time of emergencies.
1560  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 31, 2015, 10:26:48 PM
Gold is a good hedge against inflation where Bitcoin isnt. It could go either way in the face of inflation. Since I see Bitcoin as a currency rather than an investment, I'd have to choose gold.

I would prefer gold too.. if you are looking for safe and long term investment then i think gold is the better option as compared to bitcoin.. no one is aware about the bitcoin in my country so they would definitely hesitate in investing in bitcoin gold would be their first option
