1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin could bring about world peace? on: August 13, 2015, 10:45:30 AM
To me, if gold didn't bring world peace, then neither will bitcoin. Although world peace would be nice.

Right, Whenever we talk about money there are many things associated with, like fights, jealousy, family members are fighting with each other for the sake of the property, and bitcoins is also money so same would go with bitcoins in future, People will fight for bitcoins and no currency can bring world peace for sure, world peace can be done by mutual understanding of individuals.
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: August 13, 2015, 10:38:35 AM
Gold and Bitcoin are different asset classes. Gold is a historical, traditional way of storing a value. Blockchain technology is a future. What's in common is that, if we set aside certain manipulation attempts, they can't be controlled by governments.
Long term, both of them are going to survive, which we can't say for certain about fiat currencies.

All 3 of them are going to survive in future, but the important thing is which would be more valuable in future, As bitcoin can never replace fiat that is for sure, and comparing bitcoin and gold is something comparing between mom and dad, and that is not possible. So as investment products both have great future and give us some best returns on our investments.
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2015, 10:34:59 AM
Trading is a good method for increasing bitcoin but remember that its a bit risky.
You have to be really sure before trading because many people loses more in trading that they earn...

What you are saying is true, but you need to have good experience and experience comes from learning, we need to develop our skills and take it to expertise level, make a  good strategy before trading, and then get into trading, without any sound knowledge or good skills, trading would be unprofitable and you may suffer from losses.
1484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: August 13, 2015, 10:32:04 AM
I have introduced bitcoin to a few friends,my family but not one of them are interested in but it's ok at least they know about bitcoin

But only knowing will not make any difference to the bitcoin community, we want that as many people starts using bitcoin in their day to day life as a mode of payment then only it would create a difference and would have a positive impact on the value of bitcoins. I recommended but they don't have any interest in investing in bitcoins, but I keep on insisting them to start using bitcoins, and one day that would surely happen  Grin
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: August 13, 2015, 10:28:12 AM
In India, even 1% people are not aware about Bitcoin.  I don't know even one person who used (or at least aware) Bitcoin in my Town. Need to promote it in a big way by bigger BTC Investors and BTC exchanges.

That is true, even the IT professionals who are working with some good brand names are also not aware about the bitcoins, they have not even heard about the bitcoins and that surprises me a lot, working with Microsoft, Oracle, Dell etc are not aware about the bitcoins then how can we expect from others that they would have used or even heard about the bitcoins. 1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2015, 10:24:54 AM
Well, you can just use sites like freebitco.in. I always use those and then there is moonbit.co.in. I have 24000 satoshi coming from moonbitcoin and about 7000 coming from freebitcoin. Altogether, along with mining, you could probably make some more money from faucets like this.

For me, Faucets are wasting your time. But it's okay for killing time, you can try and learn trading because if you good on trading it will make you east bitcoin. My method for growing my bitcoin is earn bitcoin from signature campaign then u can invest somewhere. And don't forget there's android game can also earn bitcoin.

Faucets are just a waste of time, as it doesn't pay you a good amount and it is very time consuming, it is better to go for signature campaign or with trading where you can get good amount of bitcoins, Gambling is another option, but I recommend not to go for gambling as there are maximum chances of loosing rather than winning. So be safe, signature campaigns are the best to grow your bitcoins.
1487  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: August 13, 2015, 10:21:35 AM
Bit coin is best onlline trading website.really i like it. I using bitcoin for purchase onlline thing from onlline website and bitcoin is best.

Yes that is the best thing about the bitcoins, and I have totally stopped using my credit card for making online purchases, as my credit card charges me annual fees and that is not same with the bitcoins, and I can also make online transfers very fast with lowest charges, these are the best features connected with bitcoins and are really helpful.
1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you didn't get paid for your signature, would you still care about Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2015, 09:31:17 AM
Its not about the payment its about being active and knowing any new development from bitcoin.

Exactly, even if we didn't get paid for our signature we would still care about bitcoins, as there are many other alternatives to earn bitcoins but being on forum, adds value to our knowledge, we can learn new things everyday related to bitcoins and other cryptos, So I would say that it is an learning experience for me rather than source of income, and if I hold a good knowledge of bitcoins then I can earn money using different ways.
1489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe BITCOIN in ONE word. on: August 13, 2015, 09:25:16 AM
I would say "Innovative". Indeed... Bitcoin and especially the blockchain technology is a innovative invention. I like the idea how Bitcoin and the Blockchain work. Satoshi Nakamoto is a man/woman/group which have lot of innovative ideas.

It is innovative indeed but sometimes it is addiction too. Like you have constant watch on the prices of bitcoins whether it is falling or rising up, you always want that you should have good number of bitcoins in your digital wallet and you make more and more efforts to grow your bitcoins, So I would say it is an " ADDICTION"

1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: August 01, 2015, 10:07:29 PM
I think no because gold have physically and bitcoin not have. I see bitcoin is most currency in the future, will see where bitcoin will go as a most currency or bitcoin die

Yes Bitcoin can never crash gold  not in the coming years for sure, The market acceptance of Gold is more then Bitcoins, and market cap is also huge of Gold. Comparatively Bitcoin has a least market cap and many doesn't find it trustworthy. Gold is traditional and people have more faith in Gold as compared to Bitcoins and they hesitate in investing in crypto currency.
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: August 01, 2015, 10:03:41 PM
No, i haven't traded goods with bitcoin. There are no many services accept bitcoin right now, also government banned bitcoin for local store transaction, so i must convert my bitcoin to fiat.

Which country you from? As same is the situation in my country, I haven't found a single store that is accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment. And It would take a long time it to happen in my country. I have made many online purchase but yes, I never bought any physical goods using bitcoins as it is not in use in my country. Very Sad.
1493  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 01, 2015, 09:58:52 PM
I got 3 BTC at the moment. Keeping it under locks until bitcoin price rockets up again... If it will ever.

Same here and today I earned it from gambling. I was lucky enough to win today after a long time. So now I am satisfied with the amount that I am holding in my wallet, but need to make sure that I don't gamble again and loose my 3 BTC as it takes years to earn it and it takes only moment to loose all your bitcoins in gambling.
1494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your first bitcoins came from.. (faucets aside) on: August 01, 2015, 09:54:25 PM
I have bought my first bitcoin and then started using faucets for a little bit but I just got some dust in my wallet, and the rest come from signature campaigns.

Even I bought my first bitcoin from localbitcoins and then started to earn from signature campaigns. But when I came to know that you can also gamble using bitcoins I was very much excited. As I haven't gambled in real life with fiat so wanted to have experience of gambling once in a lifetime. I gambled, I lost though  Angry but it was an learning experience for me.
1495  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: August 01, 2015, 09:50:38 PM
Are you guys really hodl your btc and never spend it ?,
To be honest, I am using btc to buy services, buy recharge for my mobile and exchange it to my local currency when I need money. I sell it at least once in a month.

That is the right thing to do. You sell once in a month? I sell weekly part of it to take care of my weekly expenses and my salary is intact. I don't need to spend a single penny out of my salary as bitcoin takes care of all my basic expenses. And mainly I used it to convert it to my local currency when I am in need of hard cash.
1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: August 01, 2015, 09:47:08 PM
I think you want to build a Eiffel Tower in a Single day my friend  Grin

Just remember Slow and Steady Wins the Race. There is no other way then gambling which offers you to earn bitcoins fast. But again nothing is free. You need to invest your time, money, knowledge, energy when it comes to gambling and it doesn't guarantee you the success. So have patience and my suggestion would be to go with signature campaigns.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT a currency debate! on: August 01, 2015, 09:40:31 PM
Bitcoin is NOT a currency!

What do you think?

The question is very simple. Can we buy something with bitcoin? Yes. Can we buy a Dell computer with bitcoin? Yes. Can we buy a windows operative system with bitcoin? Yes. Can we buy hundred of things with bitcoin? Yes. It is bitcoin accepted as a money by multiplies merchants? Yes. Is there that merchants are increasing or diminishing? It is increasing.

Whatever it will be the name that can take bitcoin it serve as a tool which substitute the money or the currency? The name that can take can be whatever you want. But the function it have is the function of the money and the currency.

That is true, if you can make purchases using bitcoins, then definitely it is a currency, we cannot say it as a major currency as of now, but yes even it is secondary currency it is benefiting us by paying for our necessities and we can pay it for the exchange of goods and even to convert it into our  local currency. So for me it is a currency.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be the time for TV ads about Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2015, 09:36:19 PM
I think that more Bitcoin companies should invest in product placement. For example someone using a trezor wallet in a movie or someone using Circle wallet in a series. Many trends got popular through product placement .

Yes and they should use the actual word "Bitcoin" in the movie. And they should also keep on using this term in a movie which would definitely attract the target audiences to know what exactly they are talking about.
And if it happens, it would create awareness level in the mind of people and would definitely start to search for the information related to bitcoins.
1499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My criticism of BitCoin on: August 01, 2015, 09:32:41 PM
I dont like BitCoin for these reasons:

1. The whole idea that someone can turn on his computer/GPU and "bit mine" and earn money is ridiculous.
People should earn money when they work hard for it. Turning on a computer and leaving it to run does not and should not count.
This is a waste of electricity as well and therefore it causes greenhouse gases and has a carbon footprint.

2. One would think they came up with a new currency system so theft could be prevented. No, BC gets stolen all the time.
Why couldn't they "disable" the serial numbers of the currency that was stolen? Thats the kind of system that should have been designed.

3. BC is unstable. People lost a lot of money (one tiny example; there are probably hundreds and thousands) and they did nothing wrong. A good modern currency should not have this defect.

It does have positive points which is why many people are using it but it would have been nice if it didnt have the above problems.

One would think if a new digital currency was created it wouldnt have issues like this. Computers and software are so powerful now. It should have been possible to design a currency with none of the issues above.

"Then dont use it" Or "Why dont you make your own currency system?"
These are not valid responses so they shouldnt be said here.

I think you should seriously stick with fiat currency. It seems more up your alley. Everyone knows that's not going anywhere. Trust your government to do what's right.

That's correct. Bitcoin doesn't made for you. Better the fiat money. Bitcoin is something that can be love or cannot. If you like it you will love it. If not forget it and do something else. But not make complaints if someday someone with 10 bitcoins maybe will be rich.

Exactly it is an individual decision whether to love it or hate it, But you cannot blame others in the future if they get rich with a small amount of bitcoins rather then blaming your own decision to quit.
The only problem with bitcoin is the price unstability and that is the reason why people thinks that it is risky to invest in bitcoins. Either it would make you super rich or else with nothing in hand. Choice is yours  Grin
1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin better than litecoin? on: August 01, 2015, 09:25:09 PM
Market acceptance.

Nothing else matters if very few or no merchants will accept it.

Bitcoin appears to have more market acceptance than ALL OTHER CRYPTOCOINS COMBINED by a fairly wide margin.

Daddy is Daddy.

Bitcoin is introduced first and is more popular then any other digital currencies, and people have more faith in bitcoins as compared to any other crypto. And majority of merchants accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment. I have rarely seen any accepting litecoin as a mode of payment. And it will keep on increasing in the coming future.
