Very good research, these jewish devs should answer for this honestly

Anti-semite detected.

Stop with the anti-semitic hatred please. They are a very professional team working hard to put out something very innovative, yet you already jump to bad conclusions based on your racism.

Take a few deep breaths and rethink your position.

Why do you believe they are selling AMPs for a marketing campaign then they already got millions of dollars in the crowdfund BTC wallet and AMP will be higher?
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: July 28, 2017, 08:25:36 PM
No idea, they said it will be released  at end of July

That's Monday. Nearly all blockchain projects launch in the last day of the month when month is the only promised date.

really ethereum plus, it kind of ethereum with what plus behind it ? 1 token $5 is ridiculous.........

Is Ethereum Plus another Ethereum ERC20 token?
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: July 28, 2017, 07:37:01 PM
Next month in August we will see altcoins market making come back and decent will be one of the big winners. It is being heavily accumulated by big players. Once the cryptocurrencies engine Bitcoin will be stabled in a week time. People will put more money in these markets. It seems team also has it's card near chest and waiting for right moment for next moves.

Indeed, this Bitcoin fork is a complete mess for the markets. Last time something similar happened, we saw many altcoins pump after it was all settled. Empirically speaking, you may be right. Only time will tell.

Biggest airdrop knowned to mankind. Thank you sweet altcoiners!
Not really an airdrop. It is a fork, a division, rather than an airdrop.

I did't see any transactions for 5mins. Can someone answer? thank you for support.

Nothing odd happened. Everything is running smooth and fine, don't worry. Blocks are being produced every 5 seconds.

There are near 400 transactions every 24h, so you can see a 5 minutes window without any transaction. This is not really a rare event. It can easily happen. You can calculate the probability using Poisson.

1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: July 28, 2017, 12:37:58 PM
There is a 100% a lot of room for growth for Wildspark and AMP. I think there is nothing wrong with making a provoking prediction and also nothing wrong about not believing in those predictions. I think you won't argue with me about the fact that huge successes like Facebook could have rarely been planned in advance and, hence, predicted. Let's see what this brings about, I am curiously looking forward to it.

Of course! I am just stating the reasons I do not believe in those predictions. Full respect to the person.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: July 28, 2017, 03:36:59 AM
Wrote an article about AMP and my feelings about it:

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@profitgenerator/wildspark-coming-soon

I estimate the price of 1 AMP to hit 0.03 BTC easily in the future. Why?

Because by the beta results it shows that 6.6 AMP can get people 2000 views on youtube, that with the current 9000 satoshi/AMP price is technically 30 satoshi /view.

Currently there is not a single AD network in Bitcoin with a CPC lower than 10,000 satoshi, but Wildspark could deliver you 1 click for 30 satoshi. That means that the price of AMP can easily grow by x333.33 times!!!! It's insane  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Today with 0 AMP one can reach much more than 2,000 people on YouTube, so this "6.6 AMP can reach..." figure doesn't really tell me anything at all. I can reach a payout of 25$ in Steemit with a single post, but this is not my average at all. Sometimes (most times) I earn pennies. So I will not consider what I can, but rather what I am used to achieve in average.

Another reason why I do not believe in this valuation is the following: in the same post you argue that AMPs can reach a market cap of nearly 150% the market cap of Bitcoin (simple math). This is delusional for a simple browser plugin very easily imitable.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: July 28, 2017, 02:52:07 AM
The distribution of TaaS first dividend is coming. Yet still we don't know what the figures are. This is really a make or break situation for me. So if its adequate I will keep and buy some but will sell otherwise.

Is there a date for divvies? Will transfer fees be higher than dividends?

1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: July 27, 2017, 09:27:14 PM
I wish we could be using this thread to discuss other things related to DECENT like future developments and the platform potential, rather than bounties, bounties, bounties. Bounties are good, of course, but no need to have 90% of the posts discussing about bounties here... Let's get over it and wait until September...

hi, i have a question.. where would we have to keep our tokens to get dividends? will a user keeping his or her tokens on bitdice get dividends or we have to keep it on wallets like myetherwallet?

Hello,

You can use myetherwallet. You will get dividends on your Ethereum address.

Regards,
Alex

Are transactions costs going to be subtracted from the dividends for every dividend paid?
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: July 27, 2017, 09:08:01 PM
Why is this project so popular? Are people seeing future growth potential or believe they would use the service themselves?

Because of its real world adoption - https://forum.iota.org/t/publicly-announced-iota-real-world-projects-tracker/1820

And IoT has a trillion dollar market to explore. There is a chance, who knows, and this chance multiplied by trillions of dollars is worth some good amount of money.

anyyytttiiimmee now.

holy shit even blocknet went to the moon before this! lol!

Be patient, good things only come with patience.

The app will be out in 13th August, just wait 2 more weeks and see the results for yourself.

Is anyone concerned with Synereo dumping 1 mil AMP from Founder Reward Wallet?

Not me, they said they won't sell more AMPS, they already fundraises like 4 million  $ I think.

There was also some talks about coin burning in the future. So it's more likely that the supply will shrink and the price of AMP will go up.

I was also thinking, why would they dump their founder reward when they raised like $ 4 mil USD?

Where did they say they won't sell more AMPs? Are you aware of their June 30 announcement on Slack?

Meanwhile, 400k more AMPs have left Founder Reward Wallet, of which 300k went directly to exchange-looking address.

Hey chill down, we don't know if they are selling, there is no proof.

Maybe they just setup their new infrastructure for the beta release and they moved the money into that infrastructure.

The system will give out AMP to curators I think so they need to fill up the bucket from where it will be given out, maybe that is where the AMP went.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were just dumping to make some money out of expensive AMP token prices. There is too much expectation in the air inflating prices, but unfortunately no real good product.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: July 27, 2017, 08:51:27 PM
Well, could someone tell me where I should register to get my bounty? It was so long as I forget about it but my name is on the list. What details I should provide as I think it is not to late because bounty still not distributed.

Thank you!

Dev has no plan to release the bounty till end of this year so if you are on the list than you have wait few more maybe by end of next year all participants will get paid. I also wonder why he is silent on this topic and giving any plan about that.

where did you get such a message? Bounty will not be until the end of this year? If this is true then this message is ridiculous. I was not here 2 weeks and still do not know when I get my bounty?

This is the official statement: https://decent.ch/en/decent-bounties-distribution

So don't worry, we will get our bounties until 30th of September. The team has always fully complied to all milestones and promises and I see no reason to doubt it.

Everything else is just lame bs.

iconomi bounty rewards was over 100 btc not a problem  price drop little bit when they started to trade on kraken, after 3 month they started to rise ! Edgeless project over 200 btc bounty rewards dont remember if trade was never under ico price GREAT ....DECENT 50 btc Bounty rewards(not sure about it could  less) after 1 years they still have to pay the bounty? what DECENT TEAM THINK ABOUT  ,we are all stupid? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin my  God guys open your eyes One forever.......

I am sure that at this point decent team doesn't care about a dump, but they promised this before, so they are doing this. But your math is wrong as f*ck...There's 1 million decents coming from bounties, not sure how you price that as 50btc or less

i thought bounties were 150k dct

Even if it is one million DCT, that is like 2% of the total circulating supply. And like 20-30% of the already standing sell orders on bittrex+yuanbao+hitbtc, so market impact will likely be short and small, even if all bounty beggars dump their coins at once. I don't thin it is anything to worry about really.

No, no, no...

Pre-ICO/ICO bounties were not 1 million DCT and not 150k DCT. They were 700k DCT. The other 300k will be used for post-ICO promotion, yet to start (no date defined yet).

700k DCT is a sum, but many people will receive around a dozen DCT and won't care or remember they had the right upon those tokens. If 350k are reclaimed, it will by large exceed my expectations. I remember Whitehat DAO had around 50% reclaimed funds, even though the amounts were much larger and they were invested ETH (psychologically, it makes the whole difference when you lose something rather than "not earn" something).

In the worst case scenario:

Let's say 250k DCT out of 700k DCT are reclaimed considering bounty campaign took place almost 1 year ago. Then how many of those 250k DCT will be really sold within (let's say...) 2 months? Hard to say. Many people don't bother to sell. They just accumulate and sell all of the tokens once a year. Much easier... Even if we consider 80% will be sold at bittrex in the worst case scenario, this is around 200k DCT. Less than a tenth of the daily volume.

Important thing: differently from ERC 20 tokens, DCT is an app token that demands some interaction with the platform, at least via DecentGo. What is the consequence? Not to mention some people decide to buy more when they draw their attention to it when they need to receive the tokens. It is a marketing opportunity. They get in touch with the platform and learn more about it. Just like stores that sell goods in installments and say the customer must pay each installment in the store, every month, and then some of those customers end up buying more goods.

Some people may decide they want to increase that small stake. They are rare, I know. Maybe less than 1%. However they buy thousands of DCT each, and we should not forget it affects the whole equation.

Where are you getting this from? It says on the ann that:

1,000,000 DCT for DECENT Bounty program
3,000,000 DCT for Pre-software marketing.

I know these numbers by heart. But it is not difficult to find either. https://decent.ch/en/decent-ico-bounties-update-rules/
As you can see, it matches the information. Not 1 million. Only 700k DCT. This is a fact.
As I said, (opinion now>>>) I believe less then 200k of those will really reach the market next months (a tenth of the daily volume). The market will be able to absorb it with minimum damage.

Today is is the last day. Hours from now, the Dent ICO will end. They have reached a considerable amount already. I hope there is still a final burst of investors in the last minutes of the ICO. Investors will not regret having joined in this great endeavor.
I hope they take the choice of burning the unsold token

I believe they can't burn. I think they need a large supply of DENT for the marketplace to ensure liquidity.

Burning would be fairer, but who knows... I've seen so many things out there in cryptoland. Take a look at Synereo for example. What a shame...

A naive (stupid) question. Can someone explain me in a sentence "what is ICN"?

ICN was meant to be our ticket to the moon, hookers, lambos and blow.

But now isn't it?

The ticket is now expensive to turn out into a lambo. It can go up or down, probably up... When it was a few cents, everything was possible though.

I cant believe this happened such an ass move and this just seems like a total joke wow smfh

I couldn't agree more. Bitcoin movements used to be very cautious. And now all out of a sudden we have everything going on in a complex and quick way.
