Or if you guys want to keep the 50% bonus, don't give it a set limit of BTC where whales can come in the 1st minute, and screw everybody who came in 2 minutes later, expecting to buy with a 50% bonus. Instead make so that the 1st 2 hours anyone will get a 50% bonus. Because the way it is right now it's bound to piss off a lot of people.

Remember that, for every DCT they manage to sell, they will create 3/7 (~0.43 DCT)*, part of it will belong to the devs. The greater the market cap, the greater their portion. *marginally speaking, even more, as 70% of the DCT will be sold on the ICO, the rest is divided between fixed and variable. Bounties are fixed costs, so the variable part is leveraged even more than a 30:70 proportion. |

The investment decision of many people included, among other factors, the bonus for the first 10 millions DCT. Rules were not subject to change after the ICO started. Extending 10 times the duration of the bonus and cutting the cap after the investment was made was a drastical unilateral change and surely has nothing to do with the downtime. Most people wouldn't invest in these conditions and want their btc back. |

When I agreed to the terms-conditions then clicked "send" on my BTC transaction within 1 minute of 13.00 GMT, this was the condition for the 50% bonus:
Last block that will contain the first 10 million DCT. This means if the limit for 50% bonus will be reached in the second block for example, the whole first and second block will be counted even if the overall amount will be higher than 10 M
The additional diluton of my investment was not announced until 26 minutes after I had already agreed to the ico terms and sent my BTC in: Everyone who will login in DECENT ICO will have 3 hours to get the 50% Bonus. I agree and was thinking the same. My part is done. My btc is on the final destination (escrow account) and it is provable through the blockchain. I printscreened the website just to know the address they provided me, although it is unnecessary, as my wallet sent to it in the blockchain, and it is provable at any time that this address received such bitcoins and sent them to the escrow 3 blocks after (short blocks happened in bitcoin chain at that moment). Thanks you, bitcoin blockchain! But seeing it ackknowledged in the Decent website is really desired. |
