I have some coins and will hold them - I think it just takes a lot of time to implement a real world project and we will see what the future holds for us Same here. This project is a long run project.

Good luck for the team. Bolsonaro has got a small probability of winning, therefore the upside opportunity is big in case he does win.

Now trading at $0.899676 and listed at #167 on CoinMarketCap
Shame on the management team for treating investors so bad
If you consider ETH in you analysis, the price did not suffer that much. 0.00445910 ETH is the current price, which is not a drop of 70%. We cannot forget ICO funds were ETH.

I think we should just relax. Everybody should just sit back and enjoy the price soar in August. Every project that was hurt for hacking or the alike saw incredible surge in prices: for example: Komodo and Ether (DAO). Komodo, for example, surged right after. It is weird, I know. But, empirically speaking, it is true.

Can't wait to see my tokens, 2 more days to go, how do we exchange it ? i hope it will not more longer to convert it into bitcoin, badly financial problem in my current status. I'm so happy that i join the right campaign Hello Sir,OAX already added in hitbtc.I saw OAX in hitbtc and also pumped 40%. you can trade OAX in hitbtc but I am waiting for bittrex,polo or cryptopia Hello maruf, thanks for the interest to the project! It's not real OAX on hitBTC, these are so called IOU. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOUJust to complete: IOU stands for I Owe You. It will be changed for a real OAX token after launch.

The price has a big difference between the exchanges:s
The price is not steady since two days ago but main exchange to mointer an updated price is : https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-DCTAlso it was affected like other coin with bitcoin swinging over and over . Big difference between exchanges: Chinese and Bittrex. Why? The price difference is very far This is an opportunity to take advantage. Has anyone ever made an arbitration? Arbitrage is not possible because non-chinese cannot register on the chinese exchange.

Ok I think it is good time for development to start speeding up . Honeymoon is over LOL Their speed is great so far. Mainnet online in less than a year. Now it is just a matter of improvements. One of the most important in my opinion is the syncing problem in the Windows version. If it doesn't sync, you have to delete the folders and restart the process.

Some people have PMed me about how witness mechanism works in DECENT. This might be some other people's curiosity too, so I decided to write here as well.
First of all: miner = witness. These words are interchangeable in DECENT. They mean block producer.
DPOS is an algorithm whereby stakeholders elect an odd number of block producers. Each round the block producers are shuffled and assigned a time slot in which they should produce a block. With this process in place, the longest chain is considered the best chain. It is impossible for a minority of block producers to create a longer chain because they would be producing fewer blocks per minute than the majority blockchain.
There is a rank. The most voted witness is number 1. The second most voted witness is number 2, and so it goes.
At this moment, the number of miners is 51. As a result one need to be in the top 51 most voted miners to be assigned blocks. The probability of being assigned a block is 1/51 if you are on the active miners list (top 51) or zero if you are out of the list. It doesn't make any difference if you are number one or number 51 in the rank.
Every 24 hours the votes are calculated. So you will not see your votes increasing the "total_votes" figure until 0:00 GMT.
If you have X DCT your votes will be X*100000000 (one satoshi of a DCT results in one vote). You can vote for as many witnesses you want with the same votes. You don't split votes. The voting power is the same regardless of how many miners you voted for. For example, if you vote for yourself with 5000000 votes, you can vote for me and we both will have 5000000 votes each. You will not lose a single vote for voting for me.
We are on the early days of DECENT. I personally believe 51 is too many active miners. The community will probably vote for less, because a high number causes a longer time for the last irreversible block.
I'm here if you need any additional help.

I did everything the same way as the instructions from the miner: https://wiki.decent.ch/doku.php?id=decent:howto#start_mining_validating I try to run, it gives an error: C: \ Program Files \ DECENT> decentd.exe --rpc-endpoint 127.0.0.1:8090 --miner-id "1.4.177" --private-key ["DCT6nv1gGKL5Gzn37MaZSrBHeDQKrXYLRjUiDXozZaX8ySA4gWjPb", "private-key-or-wallet" ] --data-dir = "D: \ Wallets \ Decent \ Blockchain" 734770ms th_a miner.cpp: 90 plugin_initialize] miner plugin: plugin_initialize () begin 734771ms th_a miner.cpp: 119 plugin_initialize] 4 parse_error_exception: Parse Error Can not parse a number with two decimal places {} Th_a json.cpp: 277 fc :: number_from_stream
{"Str": "1.4.177"} Th_a json.cpp: 478 fc :: json :: from_string 734771ms th_a main.cpp: 250 main] Exiting with error: 4 parse_error_exception: Parse Error Can not parse a number with two decimal places {} Th_a json.cpp: 277 fc :: number_from_stream
{"Str": "1.4.177"} Th_a json.cpp: 478 fc :: json :: from_string Rethrow {} Th_a miner.cpp: 119 graphene :: miner_plugin :: miner_plugin :: plugin_initialize And another question, before launching the miner in my purse was 1 DCT, there are currently: 0.495 DCT Where did my coins go? Should there be additional open ports on the Firewall? Try running on Ubuntu 16.04 instead. DECENT mining has not been thoroughly tested on Windows. Miner creation costs 0.5 DCT. Some other actions cost 0.005 DCT. You probably did one.

Why AMP dumping so much after beta release ?? Is there any chance to recover ?? Or AMP will go to 3K again ..really disgusting with AMP holders
More selling pressure than buying pressure at the moment. It is happening to nearly all cryptos. Synereo is suffering more than average because many AMP holders were frustrated by this no product launch in June 30th. I for instance have believed in this project despite all the scam alerts. Mainly because I didn't want to sell for a loss. Not a rational thought... Should have sold at the launch hype. I decided to quit and cut losses in the beginning of the month. That was a rational thought. Very unfortunate to lose so much with this scam.

AMP is at bargain price now IMO. I have sold all my stocks in the crappy stock market where the ROI is awful, wire transfering the money as we speak, going to buy BTC with it then with BTC I am buying EDG and AMP. The price is super bargain now, I can phase in with more capital. When AMP will go to the starts I will be rich Hello brother i also just now bought tons of amps Cheap amps And we both will be the biggest partiers if amps succeeds Yes 70000 AMPS Yeaah now let's see 13th August And BTW what is this 'EDG' and why are you buying it also https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718384.0I just love both AMP and EDG now. Yes you guys are lucky that you had another chance to buy this cheap. It's like a God sent gift to all traders, of course at the HODLER's expense. But I should not complain, AMP will go back to 100,000 satoshi soon in my view, and then we can all be happy. Go back to 100k satoshi? This thread is delusional. AMP is going back to 3k satoshi as we speak. It cannot go back to a level it has never ever achieved (not even half).

There are currently 35 active miners. This is dynamic. It was 29 the last 2 days. Every day at 00:00 UTC everything (miner count, votes...) is recalculated in what we call maintenance time. How to vote on Windows? It is actually simple: Open a command line window by typing into the search box or WindowsKey+R run dialog and hitting enter. Then type cd C:\Program Files\DECENT\ and hit enter. Then type and hit enter. It will load and you will quickly be at a prompt saying locked >>> At this prompt type where your_password is the password you used to encrypt the local GUI wallet (the one you donwload and you can see the table with users, content... not DecentGO). From here, you can vote for miners/witnesses and perform other advanced blockchain functions. This wallet does not use your DecentGO email address but rather the encrypted account name. To use your account to vote for me as a miner/witness for instance, you would type vote_for_miner your_encrypted_account_name jvper true true (true twice because the first one means you want to vote and the second one means you want to broadcast to blockchain this vote) If you want to know more about me, this is my miner proposition: https://steemit.com/mining/@jvper/decent-jvper-miner-proposition

Hi there,
how to deposti DCT to Bittrex? Bittrex do not generate address, just memo and ACCT...
thanks
Memo can be empty, because it is optional. The acct name (i.e. account) is bittrex.

I did change keys, but my miner is still not shown in active list. It have to wait some time running? miner name is "uabc7b4e3b08935a9bb732253f01d8f76" id is 1.4.13 Tried to made second one: ua1aa0a62214b5f26235c819052f43d23 1.4.128 but also not visible in info. Both voted by some coins. This is DPoS, so you need to be voted to get into the list. I am still out of the list, so I count on your support too. Please vote for me. I will vote for your miner too. Remember that you can only run one witness per time, so if we vote in both and both get into the active list, the second one could be losing blocks and endangering the network. Which one is the one you want to be active? Also, remember to run on Ubuntu 16.04, because it is more stable and tested than Windows or MAC.

num_miner is set to 0 when it is null. num_miner is the desired count of miners. When the account has not voted in any desired count of miners (witnesses), it shows 0 (null). Don't forget to vote! vote_for_miner yourname jvper true true I am a reliable VPS miner committed to DECENT since the beginning. What is the whole jist behind this voting thing? DECENT runs on a blockchain. Every block has pieces of information about everything concerning DECENT. This blockchain requires that different nodes validate the block. There is a need for consensus, just like every blockchain. DECENT consensus mechanism is based on DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake). A new block is created every 5 seconds, so there is a need for fast and reliable validators. There is always a threat of malicious behavior, so please vote for me jvper, because I am committed to this project since the beginning, as you can check in my profile history. All you need to do is run the cli_wallet and vote for the ones you think are reliable miners (sometimes also called witnesses, in the meaning that they "validate" all the transactions, "sign" those transactions, just like witnesses sign a document). If you need further clarification on this matter or how to vote, please ask! vote_for_miner yourname jvper true true
