381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what happened to ethereum? on: August 17, 2018, 01:22:54 PM
Exact what happened I cannot tell . Most of the stories out there are purely speculative but the one gaining more ground is that ethereum coin holders out of panic decided to dump their coin on the market. This dumping has led to the price slash we have been witnessing in the past couple of days. I hope it bounces back

Right, on point. We can't really know what actually happened as this price drop of ETH has really surprised us all. It may just be a mentality based change that lead to this bearish trend.
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For this reason, wouldn't ETH be the future of all crypto? on: August 17, 2018, 01:21:11 PM
Currently ETH is quite popular, but if we look at the market today, ETH prices are currently falling deeply, maybe in a short time the market will increase again and ETH will be the king of the market electronic money

Yes, at the rate of popularity on ETF, our coins will definitely benefits and hugely should they be allowed on there. If they will be on ETF it would be another wave or ramp over crypto all over again and that is a good thing for us.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the good Altcoins to HOLD Long term? on: August 16, 2018, 10:56:47 PM
For long term investments, it is best to choose Etherium or Litecoin. Now these cryptocurrencies are considered the most promising.

Yes, that's what I'd also say both LTC and ETH while being weary that even if ETH isn't performing as much as people would have liked its still a good long term hold - in my opinion!
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Altcoin be independent ? on: August 16, 2018, 10:55:02 PM
Altcoins can be independent but partially. Bitcoin pairings will always exist if there will be no decoupling of BTC/(Any altcoin pairings). If most exchanges cease to use BTC pairings then altcoins may have the possibility to grow on its own. There is a possibility but it will be hard and it could take a very long period of time to attain independence from Bitcoin.

I agree with you, that theoretically it can be achieved but in practice it will be a long process and perhaps indicating that's not on the near future to do crypto list.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: August 15, 2018, 10:53:16 PM
It might also depends on the number of participants in such bounties. If they were few their is a probability of having high stakes. There may be high probabilities of having a dump for any project irrespective of bounty hunters influence and if its a good project it can always revive. A better idea is too sell a portion of token after bounty distribution if there is high probability it will dump irrespective of bounty hunters influence. A bearish bitcoin market will always affect any altcoin.

That in essence, its very true. Bitcoin unbalance greatly upsets and destabilizes altcoin markets and sometimes its better to cut your losses earlier.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in Crypto currencies without fiat. on: August 15, 2018, 10:51:17 PM
Usually, this can be done easily once you're already in the crypto market space. Once woven in then you can just do bounties or any other types of jobs that can earn you either tokens or altcoins.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN is useless!? on: August 15, 2018, 10:50:09 PM
Bitcoin is not useless maybe you did not use in the right way or you dd not apply the right technique i think you have an invalid assumption and you really need someone to clear you and give directions on how to make good use of bitcoin

While its true that Bitcoin has its shortfalls just like most of the other coins out there by contrast it isn't useless. It does however, have a lot of potential and future developments. And its a crazy trusted coin.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has stabilized? on: August 14, 2018, 10:36:46 PM
Although the price of bitcoin seems to be stabilizing around $6000, it still seems too early to think that from now on the bitcoin price will remain stable at this level before continuing its upward trend.

I think that all of us involved in this market have learned that the price of bitcoin is highly susceptible to any rumor and nothing in this volatile market can guarantee that the market will behave calmly in the rest of the year, rather we must get used to live on a roller coaster if we want to live on cryptocurrencies.

I agree with you and my view on Bitcoin being at $6000 is not that of near stabilization but a struggle. We all know that BTC can do much better than this.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You determine when to lose or make money, Stop Blaming the Market on: August 14, 2018, 10:35:22 PM
Hmm! That's not entirely true because its not all up to you. Making a bad decision can be very costly even if you have a good knowledge because the market is too erratic and can't be reliable.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Diversification in cryptocurrency is a bad idea on: August 12, 2018, 08:48:34 PM
I've understood it some months ago. It BTC price goes down, alts and tokens lose more. Better decision for your portfolio is BTC and alts from top-10 according to market cap.

That's true but does not support the title thread that diversification is bad because its not as along as like you say you choose the right and top most coins.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 12, 2018, 08:47:12 PM
I always have a mindset that gambling is fun and entertaining, I used to played for profit but now I played for entertained myself, I like to share my point of view about gambling, but I afraid when I introduce gambling to someone who cant control himself or herself then it can become a problem, and I can become the one that make him/her become addicted

So in one my hand I'd like people to enjoy gambling but in one hand I afraid it can turned into disaster and I could the person that cause the person become addicted, so I kind of confused when someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?
I think convincing other people to play gambling is a wrong idea because he might get addicted with if he started to get greedy in his winnings, even you teach him for fun he might still get into greed.

I totally agree with you. The very nature of winning something is addictive and whilst its good to h ave fun while playing its also dangerous because you could associate that particular pleasure only through playing and nothing else which becomes problematic.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way for marketing a new crypto? on: August 12, 2018, 08:45:06 PM
Make a bounty with a large pool of 500k-1 million $. It will attract the attention of bounty hunters and there will be a lot of participants. And they will help you advertise ICOs in all areas, that's the best way

One of the main streams of investors and market penetrate is through good marketing, so I agree with you that if you have a good bounty hunter/s working on the project it will increase the odds of success.
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December? on: August 11, 2018, 09:01:28 AM
I think its possible for the price to rise again in December because its done it before but at the same time its also possible to look at the other way, though I do hope that the price does start to jump again.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is going to hit 200 USD? on: August 11, 2018, 08:59:32 AM
I find it frustrating to see these types of threads saying how the value of BTC will collapse. This is all negative views and are dangerous to be spread at this level because it starts other people worry. In my opinion, BTC is still the coin to HODL for a long time to come.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whether the new coin can survive? on: August 10, 2018, 07:03:25 PM
Only those projects that are more likely to be useful in the future will survive, and the rest will fail

Let that be all true, but its also very much dependent on the people behind the project supporting the coin because if popularity isn't enough the coin won't do very well.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to study trading and technical analysis? on: August 10, 2018, 07:01:54 PM
In my own opinion you can learn trading here there is a section here that discussed trading so go to that question then read all the thread. You can also learn by watching video in youtube, you can subscribe or follow the people who professional in that kind of career which in trading industry.

This is a very good piece of advice. YouTube has plenty of great channels. The bloggers that specialize exactly on the crypto find all the information about the stuff that can interest you. Just use it. For instance, this one: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN7jFNz58AXCUn_S3mmvsHg

I  very much agree. This forum is very informative for anything crypto related and this is a good place to start but at the same time there a lot of blogs and YouTube videos which can be quite useful.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 10, 2018, 07:00:14 PM
Mostly depend on luck.
There some gambling type that using strategy such like poker that using bluffing in order to win and the rest it's depend on luck.
Since most people depend on luck, not many people interest on gambling for money maker because of the risk upon it !

I agree with you. Gambling does rely on luck for all of the games and strategy can also help in many games but only at the right moments and they won't always work as per the bluffing example above.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I lost 10000$ in trading, what should I do? on: August 09, 2018, 10:37:32 PM
In this bear-like situation the market is experiencing the best thing to do is to abstain from trading because everything is so volatile you could lose a lot more than what you lost already. Only start up again when the market becomes better because only then you can rely on your predictions.
399  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency marketcap decreases but number of exchanges increases? on: August 09, 2018, 10:35:44 PM
After peaking at approx $800 bil in Dec 2017, cryptocurrency market cap gradually decreased (~ 289 bil on 23 Jul 2018). But in contrast, the number of exchanges increased dramatically during that time.
Do people want to grab a piece of a smaller cake or they believe the cake become bigger? I am so doubtful about the latter scenario.

This is simply the way of making good money in a relatively short amount of time, so then, why of course, people want a piece of that cake!
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: August 09, 2018, 10:34:23 PM
Looking at the poll, majority of the answers fall within the 1h category which is great because this is controlled gambling and this is will not lead you to losing everything because of the time restrain you put yourself in. That's a good compromise, in my opinion.
