861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: May 24, 2017, 11:13:03 PM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

Little opinion from me
I think bitcoin is a very attractive investment place
To be rich here is very possible if the right time in entering the investment is indeed a big risk but that's the business when we want to get big profits therein the possibility of a big loss there

Yes it is a very nice and attractive place to invest and more people are treating it as their main investment. Even you will just hold it you can actually get decent profit on it. And also in this industry when you want to buy online you don't have to input information from you as you can send the exact amount to the person you want to transact with.
We all want an easy investment and high rewarding which bitcoin seems to provide
We also want privacy on how we spend our money without questions asked about source of money and all that
Bitcoin is also just so easy to use with less/no down times.
862  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: May 24, 2017, 10:48:53 PM
I prefer to invest for the long term but do the odd bit of day trading also. Long term good investments can pay huge dividends if you have patience and in crypto/bitcoin sphere you only need patience for around 1-3 years to get good form a few investments. That's what I plan to do. This next year will be really interesting and I believe if we all back the right horses, we might come out the other end with a nice chunk of change.

Yes, the one who has patience for long-term investment in the end can get rich well. But short-term investments for small needs are also good to use.
Okay lets get practical here
If we take dogecoin for example its been around for as long as i can remember which could be regarded as a long term investment according to time frame given does  that mean we have millionaires in that cryptosphere
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 24, 2017, 10:34:18 PM
I think it is impossible to replace with conventional money, even the government alone is not possible to allow it.
Our governments can never allow this to happen that is why in some countries bitcoin has not be legalized because the see bitcoin
as a threat which can replace conventional money and lead to the collapse of the systems used to regulate cash flows.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: May 24, 2017, 08:51:30 PM
Both are risky as you cannot be sure that you will win in either of them as the main factor to win money in gambling is luck and its very simple logic if you are lucky you will win or you will be sitting at loosing end.

They are both risky but in sports betting the risk is lesser. If you are smart enough to do some, analysis before the decision of your bets. In most of the casino best or games it is depending on the games that you are playing, there are some that are good only for luck or they are totally luck based which has higher risk.
no if you really smart and can do math to count how much the edge in sportsbetting ,
you might will have to think many times to start gamble on sports ,
just look between the lines and you will find the number for the edge ,
it gives a lot of benefit for bookmaker ! means has even bigger risk in sportsbetting no matter you have analyzing skills.

Yes you need to adjust with the edge and specifically with the odds per bets. But you need to consider on what bet you are going to excel and just choose the best out of it. And for me, the best thing is that you should really choose only the games that you know how to play and for me I'll go with sports betting and will avoid casino bets.
You can be good at sportsbetting and still lose due to shitty odds, bookmaker cheating and disapperaing in one night. But it's little safer and smarter than casino betting but smart people don't gamble (or they are doing it for fun).
you will equally lose money on dice or any other games on shitty odds just like sport betting.
Its also difficult to to stop people from cheating on either types of gambling but you will have a much better chance of winning with sports
because you always watch and see how teams perform..otherwise we just have to accept casinos are all about fun
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange? on: May 24, 2017, 07:32:13 PM
Poloniex and Bittrex are the most popular for the most common altcoins we have around
but i also like to use yobit for its simplicity, though most users say yobit has a lot of shitcoins and another interesting exchange is liqui for those dark horse alts with a shot of becoming million dollar coins
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am sad for my ETC on: May 24, 2017, 07:04:37 PM
:'(I sell my ETC last night, what's the fuck?
I am worried about the bubble too big, so I sell it
but,it's raise to the moon, but I still on the erath
No need to be worried mate you might have made a good choice and still have plenty of time to buy cheaper eth with the superior bitcoin

You are very much still on the space ship going to the moon and if you like you can invest in creditbit an Ethereum based token which you can buy and

lock up your CRB tokens away and earn an interest on them. For more visit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1237511.0
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Directbet.eu - what seems to be the reason for the site closure? on: May 24, 2017, 04:36:26 PM
Directbet closing got me by surprise i thought this was a hoax not until i tried placing a live bet and saw the news..
Was expecting to at least get an email notification to make this as an official announcement about this...whatever the case Directbet was a great success and its unfortunate we will nolonger see the sports competition we got used to see not forgetting their no fee wallets.
Time to look for another reputable bitcoin sportsbook.
868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you buy Bitcoins using Paypal? on: May 24, 2017, 03:47:57 PM
How do you buy Bitcoins using Paypal? I'm thinking of buying few Bitcoins but I don't have enough funds in my credit card, but I'm having enough on my Paypal account. So I don't know how to buy using PayPal
its actually very easy and you have two options on how to but some bitcoins using this method
(i) if you want come cheaper bitcoins you can provide some form of identification to prove you are the owner of the account used on an exchange like paxful or localbitcoins or get them at a premium without id

(ii) you can use the currency exchange section for this transaction here on the forum--->https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 but most exchangers will be conscious with who the trade with.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 24, 2017, 10:13:30 AM
Hello Devs ... i know ur doing ur best. Working non stop... but u should pay attention to the price ... creditbit is going further down.. while every other altcoin is goin up at this week...

Plz do ur best to add it to a new exchange as soon as possible. Cuz this is the easist way to reach new ppl...

I believe our coin is the best and it deserves to be 30$ worth at least by the end of 2017

Friend, devs are devs, they do not have anything to do with price! its up to community,to all of use to spred world about CRB
this days is not so easy to come on big exchanges as bittrex,poloniex,kraken,bitfinex...
We community need to work on CRB promotion, devs work on project.

its not like other token when they make crowdfunding....get 5-10 milion $ as they need to make some token done..they spend maybe 500k and rest later push back for token/coin pumpin to start rise...
imagine CRB dev team take 5 milion $.and now put back 4 milion $ to hype CRB!? Wink
CRB devs team work for penuts,no crownd,no ico! so they can not pump CRB token like other do and did!

but i say NEVER GIVE UP! you need to know that CRB token is token like none...its not just copy or some token,coin..but have a lot stuff to give to community..believe me when crb one day hit big exchanges..price can easy go over 10$.... After roadmap 2 got deliver to community as planed, come roadmap 3!!!!!!!

in crypto you need time....  imagine Creditbit was 1 year ago 0.01 and today is approx 0.70- 0.80$...next year same time can easy be 7-8$..if this is not a crazy rise then i do not understand you at all..

we all need to push CRB and then we all will be big winner...

i can only tell you big stuff coming...we all work hard...

to be listed on JAXX wallet is already real respected to CRB token...more good stuff coming..believe me...we all work hard! Wink

go go CRB!

to be honest the devs have put in alot of effort for a coin that did not get any sort of finance for this project to get on the road through any sort of ICO crowdsale and imo they are doing far much better than those that have been financed from crowdfunding, i can just imagine how big of a project creditbit would  have been had it sold some of its tokens through a crowdsale.... until then its just a matter of getting listed on a bigger exchanges to  push prices
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: May 24, 2017, 09:33:57 AM
Reason why I gamble is I want to be entertained and kill time. If I will check my loses and winnings every day that's not entertaining anymore but it will add more stress and worries since I'll be worried that I'm losing my money. Just play, if you lose, so be it.
lose and victory in gambling is common for me as I did with the man happy, to fill the free time and entertainment for me during my time of saturation will be entertained by playing gambling, and sometimes if I lost my money in gambling will add my concern is only temporary
No one likes to register more losses than wins, and its unfortunate that you can not always win no matter how careful or skillful  you chose to be

Quote
how much money have you made or lost gambling ? Any pointers or warnings ?

to be honest i dont keep count of how much money i have lost, the most important is the profit and my only pointers is dont get excited when you start winning and get greedy
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why so different prices on Market - which one is relevant for you? on: May 24, 2017, 09:12:14 AM
At same time I was looking at prices of ETH on different sites:
coinbase : 182$
freewallet: 198$

at the same time the price was so different and still is. Usualy on coinbase is always less. Why?
i think its because of of a varying market size on each of those platforms and we have to consider how much eth supply is available to them
to dictate what price the coins can be sold for, if there was more demand for eth we should expect a higer market price and low eth price if more
people intend to sell.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE - to the moon on: May 23, 2017, 08:52:58 PM
Doge has no real application and will not find it in the near future. So do not buy a losing asset.
I don't agree with this statement entirely.  Dogecoin does have utility for a lot of things, tipping is one of those things.  Transaction fees are extremely low and confirmation times are quick.  Those are advantages over the current state of bitcoin, no?  One problem is that it probably won't get widely adopted, but that could change.

Would I buy it now?  No.  I think it presently costs way too much, and I think it's being ridden upwards by gamblers and suckers.
last I read the tip bot is RIP, apparently people are working on a new one
just how accurate are these tip bots when it comes to price movements?
Does Dogecoin ever stand a chance of ever bouncing back to the big leagues, am losing hope and now thinking of dumping all what i have.
OP when is the pump going to happen might make some money off it
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 23, 2017, 06:02:14 PM
What's up with the price last time when i asked you you told me that price is really less now so i bought 200 crb at 0.0005 but now the price has gone more low. Should i think this as an last opportunity and put in everything i got?. I also hope that i atleast the price reaches 0.001 by end of this year as i mostly see crb has the most volume on livecoin
if you have looked at the pending trades looks like we have more users off loading what they have been holding but all it takes is a big buy to restore the prices back to what they were or even go over that 0.0005 you bought some CRB.
Don't miss this big opportunity to buy more CRB now while price is low before a price pump.
874  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info fake transactions on: May 23, 2017, 12:00:37 PM
i would not say that it was a fake transactions you iniated, you should have tried to rebroadcast the transaction using push service like

https://blockchain.info/pushtx or others for miners to pick the tx up but looks like it got confirmed anyway.
875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you have any intentions of selling your BItcoin? on: May 23, 2017, 11:11:59 AM
Now that the price is increasing, would you sell your Bitcoins any-time from now for hard cash?
Selling some of my bitcoins is on my cards but only for cash that i am really in need of because bitcoin price has not reached its peak

as we all believe prices might even go as high as 10,000 dollars. For now it would the right choice to keep holding.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: May 23, 2017, 03:36:49 AM
I don't think any cryptocurrency will be able to replace Bitcoin at least in the foreseeable future. It's going to happen but when it will take place depends on a lot of factors and it makes it difficult to predict.
That is your prediction and I respect it but I am hoping if bitcoin will not be replace, most of the altcoins will grow, that way it will make a good economy and investors can spread their money which will give them the benefit of minimizing the risk.

Yes and bitcoin is too big and king of crypto currency and I don't think that any altcoin has potential to take over bitcoins in future as bitcoin is more popular and it can be also used for online shopping and money transfers which can never be possible with any altcoins.
kings get dethroned too,so i do not think bitcoin is as big as you say but as long as we keep using it. its value will continue to raise and more problems will continue to raise too like the backlogs we facing and other altcoins will emerge as the perfect solution to these problems.
IMO bitcoin can be replaced not today not tomorrow but someday.
877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: May 22, 2017, 08:35:43 PM
Many people stick to this rule of thumb which many successful members are doing here. They are saving 10-15% of their monthly salary and buying bitcoin with these savings. Of course now it depends, some look at it as a good time to buy believing the price will rise further more but some others say after such rise the price should have a correction and say it's not a good time to buy. If you follow the formula to save 10-15% savings from your salary should be a good start.
i love it ! Its simple and effective, you do not need to break a bank to get your self some bitcoins ..and 10-15 % is practical enough to leave you with enough cash for your basic needs and without having to wait for bitcoins to become cheap

Mining is another solution but it is costly.
i think mining should be left for the big pockets who will have no problems running and maintaining it
878  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: May 22, 2017, 11:29:59 AM

Act now before prices start to drop or something. See you in your new house
879  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Acceleration Service on: May 21, 2017, 09:37:51 PM
Just as Darkstar has pointed out there is a high chance that you will be using a free service to make money for yourself
if its something different from this do provide more info unless you are going to use BTC.com acceleration services..
880  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: May 21, 2017, 07:57:16 AM
They are a lot of ways you can earn bitcoin online.
1.Bitcoin faucets(the easiest way,and the best for begginers)
2.Ptc sites( also for begginers)
3.Bitcoin trading
4.Bitcoin investing
5.Bitcoin lending
6.Signature campaigns
And a lot of other methods! Check around, you will be amazed how much you will win if you are a hard worker
Your suggestions is good ,on here in the forum looking around visiting the threads and other discussion will help you to earn not only free or by investments .There's a offers in exchange or for your skills to do that they will pay with bitcoins .In short there's a lot of ways to earn btc online .If you want big income you should invest in a legit sites or some skill based .
Indeed it is a good suggestion but things are different this time around its not like those days we had faucets now you need to be creative on how you will make some bitcoins and i think the crypto-marketing industry is becoming a popular choice to make some btc with article and video making falling under that section.
