So today we are in bear market with a huge disbelief
Bitcoin is now going through hard times with stupid hash wars, global critics, you can't buy many things with BTC, I mean you can't leave spending only BTC, at least in most countries. Transactions are slow, fees are big. We all know this, however we have Elon Musk, N. Nassim Taleb(visited blockchain conference today - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Da0aXfshlxM&t=1144s) talking on Bitcoin. I actually don't know if anybody else talked about BTC from realistic point of view. I mean people who is not connected to this crypto-world. Do you know anyone? I mean these mr. W. Buffet quotes are hilarious. So today everyone knows how to short, many people still in the game but not expecting too much from this. So we can say that it is probably a new period to gain new hype and adoption cycle. I believe next hype cycle will take place when halvening and lighting happens. What are your thoughts on current situation, and how do you see bitcoin or any other crypto being adopted as a paying instrument for anything being such a volatile asset?

In my opinion, I'd stay away from increased risk of losing money and keep the Ethereum coins since its largely the second most trusted coin in terms of market price and so on. |

There are a lot of companies calling me at least every 2 days to ask me if i am into trading and if not why not and why i don't and so on..
Is there any kind of entertainment if doing online investments or trading?

As far as I know there is no entertainment side to trading, except if you regard losing money as such, and if these guys call you regularly these are obvious scams. |

What sets Bitcoin apart from these other options and how would you differentiate between these payment methods and Bitcoin? What makes Bitcoin better? Let's discuss.  Its true there a lot of other payment options out there but I think what sets Bitcoin payments apart is the idea of being decentralised and independent even if that comes at the cost of unstable coin prices. Plus the nature of Bitcoin payments might be preferred for certain other payments. |

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.
Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?
Its never too late to enter the crypto market space but its essential you first understand the principles before you start investing for sure because many of us are not selling or buying at the right time. |

Litecoin, a relatively stable coin on the crypto market, was also affected by the recent unfavourable condition of market. Market has been recovering and the price of litecoin is moving up gradually. Now, the price is around 57 US dollars. I see litecoin hitting 65 dollars before 2019, what about you?
In my view, LTC coin is a good coin with a strong network base and I do not think its unrealistic to suggest that in the next month or so the price could reach the 60s. Though, for this to happen we need to see more market demand, just like in any other markets. |

There is no such thing as trading without loses that's impossible, and I said this many times before. If you're a trader then you inadvertently are willing to take huge risks and with that comes losses no matter how read or smart you are.

The things is we need a large scale adoption of Bitcoin and we're talking million/billion scale. This adoption issue is at the centre of price fluctuation, the more people are using BTC the more secure and stronger the network/community becomes.

Investments are all about taking risks and so if people are scared to invest now then maybe thats an indicator that maybe you should get there first. But of course do all the background checks beforehand to see if its worth investment.

Bitcoin growth isn't as fast as we would like because it has hit a wall. There are many investors afraid to invest in BTC due to uncertainty factors regarding BTC price and usage.

Ripple is not that great. I think it has a lot of fake hype and despite all of these is still not performing as it should. To me that's the most frustrating thing about XRP.

I don't think that government supportive bodies would create a network which would go against all governmental regulations. I think whoever created it was tired of seeing how every government can be corrupt. |

There are lots of coins this days and more are still emerging by the day. If eventually cryptocurrency becomes accepted globally and it's been adopted for usage, do you think all the coins would be accepted for usage or only a selected few?
As you mentioned already, there are way too many on the market then we actually need and only a handful of them will make to become accepted for general usage. |

From my experience what I can share with you is that all 4 exchange platforms are good and reliable. Though, due to convenience Bittrex is the one I use most often.

In my opinion as it today Bitcoin will not stand a chance at being the future currency because of the fundamental flaws which limits it in volume and transaction cost. We may be looking at another crypto as our future coin.

I think generally Bitcoin is mostly driven by pockets of investors who have a large stake in the market but also by individuals. Overall, its a combination of both, as these are the buyers of BTC.
