1141  Economy / Economics / Re: surprise 2018 on: April 22, 2018, 08:26:07 PM
The big surprise of the year 2018 is that the value of BTC is no longer rising and rising steadily as in 2017, in 2018 the price of BTC is decreasing and there is no sign of increasing like 2017. There are many reasons influencing value of BTC in 2018 as many virtual currency came into being and many investors bought BTC as the price of BTC fell
I do not think that the fact that the price of bitcoin is not growing in this year is any kind of surprise, if you take the time to look at how bitcoin has performed in every single year you will notice that after a great year the next year is not that good, and I do not find this really surprising, after all there is not an unlimited amount of money, investors need time to get more capital and until they do the market is not going to grow again.
1142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: April 22, 2018, 08:06:01 PM
You just stated that bitcoin may not last forever, we won't know bitcoin rather crypto in general will crash tomorrow or next month, that's why you should just keep crypto as your sideline, and education as your focus.
In my opinion it is a mistake to rely only on a single source of income, that is what happens to people that study a particular field and then in 10 or 20 years that field disappears and it's replaced by computers, so you need to have several skills and have several source of income so if you lose one you do not lose everything, so we need to keep our options open just in case we need them.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 21, 2018, 10:18:05 PM
Possesses bitcoin as well as holding a gun  Huh Smiley Huh
http://bitcoinnews.com/cryptocurrencies-gun-crime-canada/
Most likely the answer to that is a no, however if you're worried about the legality of bitcoin in your country then consult a lawyer and talk to him about your situation, you're going to need to pay a small fee but paying that fee is a very small price to pay compared to the peace of mind that you will get knowing that most likely bitcoin is not illegal to hold in your country.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies and our daily life on: April 21, 2018, 10:07:51 PM
It's really good to know if you can still manage to do cryptocurrencies even with your busy life everyday. It just requires proper time management, besides, you can do crypto anytime, anywhere you like even if you're on the go. Cryptocurrencies are already part of people's lives as they are getting profit out of it
That is how good cryptocurrency is because as long as you have the device then you can be connected with cryptocurrency and you can do your work even you are in a vacation and you want to do some cryptocurrency then you can do it. It just takes discipline and also patience in order to balance the time for your cryptocurrency and also to your daily life.
The great thing about cryptocurrencies is that you can use them anywhere and you are not limited in any way or form, you can use any computer with Internet around the world to access your coins, obviously this could be unsafe but as long as you control the computer that you are using to access your coins you'll be very safe, this is what is scaring governments around the world because now you can carry your money with you and they'll never know it.

You are right. But this is not only possible with computers because nowadays there are already platforms that enable us to use or smartphones for trading and even converting cryptos into fiat that we can then cash out on various ways that are available in their platforms like banks or just by remittances. With this happening widely already today, I too believe that this is what government are fearing about nowadays because people can hide their financial statues and evade the eyes of the authorities and banks.
That is what they feared the most, until now governments had a very strong control of how the money around the world moved thanks to their alliance with banks but now that bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies have broken that monopoly they are understanding that if they let this new way of payments and currency to become too popular that they could lose control of the whole economy of the world.
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: April 21, 2018, 09:53:18 PM
Now I feel worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto in general because every time there was a price correction I saw most people are not worried about the price and they all had the same opinion about it, they all said to wait and hold your coins or buy new more, but now I see that there are different opinions about it, that makes me really afraid of what happens now.

is it serious guys that it is over or what?
The differences in the opinions among users should not be a reason to be worried, with so many people involved in a project as big as bitcoin then it is natural that there are differences of opinion, what I'm seeing is that those that are relatively new in this market are telling everyone to sell while those that have more experience and have even saw a crash before are telling people to hold.
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: April 21, 2018, 09:42:15 PM
The real problem is at the heart of BTC itself; it's decentralized!

We cannot have the best of both worlds; a decentralized system with enforced stability.

Either we accept some kind of central regulation, like fiat currencies have, or we accept the crypto volatility as part of it's nature.
I think you're right which is why I think that the only thing that we can do is to accept the volatility for what it is, it will be nice to have the best of both worlds but if I had to choose I prefer a decentralized system which is not manipulated in any way even if that produces a greater volatility over a system that is regulated but that is not moving as much because it's manipulated.
1147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: April 21, 2018, 09:30:45 PM
Everytime i trade, i don't based it on my predictions but i based it on the announcements that i see on some telegram channels where they are discuss what coin will be pump or dump.
Then you are taking a huge risk, if there is something worse than losing money it is losing money because you followed the advice of someone else, you may think that you are making very easy money by just following the advice of someone but when you lose that someone whoever it is, he is not going to be there to give you your money back.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid to create my own ICO on: April 20, 2018, 11:18:23 PM
I'm newbie in this sphere and I want to earn crypto the best way possible. I think that waiting for the earning from bounty and airdrops has no reason and ICO developers get the most of money. I've heard a lot about MyWish and its offer for non-tech ppl to create ICO but I'm afraid that I won't can do it, what do you think?
I think you misunderstood it, making ico to earn more money? That's not a good start, its better to think a good and beneficial project first and you will benefit from it. I dont have any experience about creating an ICO but be careful you might end up on jail if your main objective just to earn money.
To create ICO I think you need team, experts, programmers. Because if someone see a flaw or bug into your code, that can be abuse by some guys or acuse you as scammer. My suggestion is leave it to the professionals or you can create your team yourself and discuss everything.
Unfortunately, he is not the only one to think about creating an ico just to earn money, there are many people that had the same idea and Scammed hundreds of millions of dollars out of people, so whenever you are investing your money you must remember to always look very closely at all the characteristics of the ico and only invest if you are truly convinced of the project.
1149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: April 20, 2018, 11:12:48 PM
The first point of the OP is critical if you take the time to see the amount of money that you could have made if you invested in something else then you'll find the differences are incredible, it doesn't matter if you invested in stocks, bonds, gold, silver or even real estate there is nothing compared to the profits that you got with bitcoin without doing anything, even at this point with the price so low my profits are great, that is why I do not have any regrets.
if compared to gold, silver or real estate in cryptocurrency we can get bigger profit. but we must be smart to process cryptocurrency in the future and maybe now is a good time to get bigger profit.

Why does that even matter here, I mean I am referring to the guy who is talking about the gold and silver and shit like that. BTC is completely different thing and it works on the principle of blockchain and not the gold or silver. The crypto market is completely different thing, it has different agendas and also different work mechanism. So there growth will be independent as well.

For the OP I am sure you can get hold of it as you pass more time here and see how these things are really common to the crypto holders. If you just give it little more time then you will surpass everything here.
If you mean me, the opener talks about comparing the gains of cryptocurrencies with the gains that you can get in stocks, I just went a little further and began to compare to other types of investments and when you see that it's very easy to see that cryptocurrencies are the best investment that you could make, that is why I do not regret investing in them.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buying and Holding the only way? on: April 20, 2018, 10:58:35 PM
i tried to calculate how much would i make from bitcoin mining using an antminer s9, and i don't think it's worth it for me as the cost of electricity is high where i live, which is in the UK (it's 20 cents approx), i make like $300 profit a year. and obviously i can't use faucets as that will take years to get one bitcoin. so is the only way to even get any value from bitcoin is to buy it and hold it on for another few years? but it is a risky investment due to the price. or should i invest in new currencies that are cheap right now and have potential to grow to $4k a coin?  Huh
You must remember that bitcoin is money so any form of way earning money will work on bitcoin as well, so you do not necessarily need to buy bitcoin in order to get it, you can work for it, offer to the community all your skills that you have that you can do online, if you are any good at it, it is possible that you could make a significant amount of bitcoin in a relatively short amount of time.
1151  Economy / Economics / Re: Why BTC is having a high price? on: April 20, 2018, 10:52:06 PM
I'm of the opinion that Bitcoin is expensive because it is a virtual analog of gold. If you can print normal currencies as much as you want, then you can not issue digital cash. And already in the near future the production of bitcoin will be exhausted. So, these coins will only go up in price.
While bitcoin is not a perfect analog of gold, they share a lot of characteristics one of the most commented is the scarcity, gold is very scarce because it's a heavy element of the universe, and there is a limited amount effect the we can exploit on earth, with bitcoin we have artificial scarcity created by the code developed by satoshi, so in that particular characteristic gold and bitcoin are the same.
1152  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you agree? on: April 19, 2018, 08:05:18 PM
According to CCN, Bitcoin prices will probably climb after April 17, when Tax Day in the United States is over. That’s what Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee, a noted bitcoin bull, predicts.

If this is true then. Better buy some bitcoins now as long as is it low. Goodluck guys !

Source: @cryptomeren

EDITED
BULLISH RUN IS COMING AS THEY PREDICTED!
It was early for now ! Hope it will consistently pump 😁
The price did go up slightly but we cannot really say that this is the beginning of a bull run, we need to ask ourselves why a bull run will begin right now? And the answer is that there is not enough reasons for that to happen, believe me I will love for the price to go up immediately I'll be very excited if that happened but I do not see solid reasons for that to happen.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2018, 07:58:13 PM
As the title says, is passive earning from Bitcoin is possible nowadays. Let's face the facts mining is very much expensive for most of the users and I have encountered with many people who think they do not have any skill or do not want to learn any soon. There must be anyway by which you can make money by using most of your time by investing only once or by a little investment.
If what you want to do is to multiply your bitcoin, there are not many ways to do this, you could invest in the bankroll of bitcoin casinos and obtain a cut out of the profits, but now many casinos are creating their own tokens and they are paying dividends to the holders of those tokens so this could be another option if that is what you're looking for.
1154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading by follow signals. Is it good? on: April 19, 2018, 07:52:21 PM
Hi everyone, I'm just start trading and I don't have too much experience in chart or technical analyse. So I joined some signal groups with monthly fee. Is it good, in your opnion?
I hear about Alanmaster and his VIP signal, anyone hear about him or join his VIP member. Since I want to try so it's good if I have some feedback about it.
Thanks  Grin
It is not really a good option and the reason is very simple, take the time to think about it if you had a way to know what the market was going to do in advance what will you do? Would you sell a service of signals for a small price? Or will you invest every single dollar that you have in your life and become one of the richest persons alive? That should answer your question.
The purpose of signal is to create a hype to dictate the price of a certain coin that's why they are doing signal. No one can predict the price of a token/coin so it's impossible for a single entity to have a sure profit on trading even if you are the most PRO Trader.
This is why I always thought that those signals services are nothing but scams as well that are either trying to promote some coins and earn money that way or they are part of a pump and dump scam in which they buy some coins and then they instruct everyone that is part of that group to buy those coins then they can sell for a profit while everyone else loses.
1155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Advice Needed on: April 19, 2018, 07:47:11 PM
Learn some  basic theory  and start practice. Believe me you can learn how to trade only on practice. If don't know where to start, you can  check here https://www.investopedia.com/
Trading is not something that can be completely learn out of books or videos, at some point you need to sit down look at the charts and start trading, it is very easy to read the books and think that you're going to become a successful trader it is only when you begin to practice when you realize that is a lot harder than what you thought.
1156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading was fun! on: April 19, 2018, 07:41:45 PM
daily trading is very fun, because we can manage how much profit we get and we do not have to be hit by a big defeat. I see if today's daily trading makes us have daily income like normal work and it can make us feel safe in the financial position.
That is just an illusion, you do not control how much profit you can get out of the market you only control when you enter and when you exit the market whether you get profits or not will depend on whether you are able to read the market correctly but you need to forget about the illusion that you get that you are controlling the market because that is not the case the only way for you to be able to do that will be if you were a whale.
1157  Economy / Economics / Re: surprise 2018 on: April 17, 2018, 08:44:46 PM
Actually I am looking and waiting for a positive surprise where bitcoin price move up to 30,000$ before the end of second quarter of this year. If this really happened, then  we that invested now would be rich.
To be honest you are not looking for a surprise you're looking for a miracle, bitcoin is without a doubt one of the best coins in this market and in my opinion one of the few coins that are worth holding for the long term but it is impossible that is going to reach 30000 dollars before July, we need to try to stay realistic in our predictions so we're not disappointed when that does not happens.
1158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: April 17, 2018, 08:27:32 PM
I think you continue to invest in BTC. And keep them for a long time, so you will become rich in the next few years, the BTC price will increase more than $ 50,000 next year. That's my guess. But I'm sure it will happen.

Both can be done simultaneously as for btc you can be just a investor who keep on investing during the fall and then on rise depending if you require money can sell or hold it. Thus it would not effect your college life at all as you can do this in your spare time

Correct, you do not have to choose one or the other in fact the best solution is to do both, but is not going to be easy because this means that you're going to have less free time to enjoy for a long time but if you want to improve your future you need to be willing to pay the price, very few people become rich because they win the lottery or a relative gives them the money, most people that are rich earn that money and we need to do the same.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happened to bitcoins after one died? on: April 17, 2018, 05:05:35 PM
Bitcoin is just another form of money/asset class and we can mention in our will that the private keys, exchange login/KYC details, hardware wallets, paper wallets should be handed over to the X person(s) in case of his death or inability to act in a sound manner. However, I would recommend you consulting your legal consultant to make sure that you are making right choices of words while preparing your will.
While that is a possibility, at the same time we need to recognize that bitcoin is very susceptible to theft in that particular point, your lawyer or anyone that you trust in order to give your private keys to your loved ones could steal your bitcoins because you need to remember that the one that has possession of the private keys can do whatever he wants with those coins.
1160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't lose your faith in BTC. on: April 16, 2018, 04:18:46 PM
Look at the charts from the start and you'll see that we're still at an uptrend compared to most of last year.

People always look at the short term charts. Main point of importance is that the recent noobs complaining about the current price have bought near peak levels, and have constantly seen the price go down, which pretty much explains why they don't care about what happened in the past. The only market they care about is the one after they entered, and for them, even though if you don't sell you don't lose anything, it feels like a major loss. I figured that out after thinking through why noobs don't care about what the market did in the past, and this is what I consider to be the main reason. It makes sense as well if you think logically....

agree, most people are concerned only with their own assets, so it's no wonder that the current market conditions are the main benchmark for them whether the investment is profitable or not. They do not look at people who have bought bitcoin when under $ 1k because in general people who buy the price can still smile broadly despite the current market conditions. So the conclusion is true, people who buy at the peak price will be more concerned with the price after they open a position regardless of the previous history.
I think that is only natural, all the people that invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies do so because they want to earn profits, they really do not care if an earlier adopter has got incredible profits even with this market price, what we all want is to obtain profits ourselves so if you bought when the price was at the highest then it is natural to be worried, even if I still think that bitcoin could go higher in the next years.
