1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ICO period long? on: May 09, 2018, 10:18:46 PM
because the team and developers want to give more opportunity to the investors to be able to contribute in supporting the project
because not all cryptocurrency investors always have that much free time
Another possibility is that they decide to make a very long ico to give themselves some additional time so they can develop their project, I will not be surprised if some developers did that, after all we know that after the ico they are very stressed about releasing their project as soon as possible because now money is on the line not only theirs but the money of their investors as well.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to the market over the next few months? on: May 08, 2018, 09:47:42 PM
Morning all

I just wondered what people think about how the market will respond over the next few months, and what people would recommend to invest in now, because of its current low price, compared to the end of 2017.

Thanks everyone.
I suppose we all want that, but it is kind of difficult to know what is going to happen, my prediction is that we are not going to see huge movement like the one we saw in the past year, bitcoin is going to keep a positive trend for the next months, we are going to surpass the price of 10000 and it could probably reach a price of 12000, so as you can see I do not expect a bull market.
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: May 08, 2018, 09:42:15 PM
We have different strategies about earning bitcoin or how are you going to manage it. In my case my goal is to earn as much as many bitcoin before it reaches 6000$ or 7000$ (I hope)  but there's one different thing about my strategy and it's "To earn bitcoin without investment" Meaning earning bitcoin through hard work like signature campaigns, bounties etc. So i hope i achieved this goal before the price starts to grow again.
If you are planning to earn bitcoin through some activities it is better for you that the price becomes very cheap that way you will be paid more bitcoin for your services and then when the price skyrockets your profits will multiply many times, the only problem with that strategy is that you will need for the price of bitcoin to remain stable for sometime and it is difficult to predict if that is going to be the case.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question: method against KYC stealing on: May 08, 2018, 09:37:06 PM
But the data is still being handed over. The watermark will only show on the image you sent. All a thief has to do is copy the data. I think you are right to be afraid. When I see ICO I assume it is a scam.

If you simply must and take a foolish risk participate in an ICO then you should make absolutely sure that the business is a legal business with a license on file. If they don't have that and they are asking for KYC information then it is surely a scam.
This is absolutely right, even with the watermark they are still going to be in possession of your information and they can do whatever they want with that, this is why it is very important to do our due diligence on icos and unless we are completely convinced that the project is an honest one we should never sent our documents or we face the risk of getting our identities stolen.
1085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: May 08, 2018, 09:33:01 PM
I think that there's nothing so complicated. Just put a % of your fiat money into crypto and try to play among the rates of alts and btc at one of the available exchanges.
It is not complicated if you do not care about you profits and your losses, then you can do what you are suggesting but you are going to become a loser trader, but if what you really want to do is to earn a significant amount of money with cryptocurrencies by becoming a trader then it is going to be very complex, because every trader is looking to do the same and they are not going to give you their money without a fight.
1086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: May 08, 2018, 09:28:50 PM
That's why we have to think that this is the right timing to sell when the market is bullish.
If the market is bullish it doesn't mean you should start liquidating profits directly. It firstly depends on your profit standards of course, but with everything that happened last year, it's impossible to call end.

People started calling end at the $2000 mark last year, which repeated itself all the way up to near the top peak levels of $20,000. I rather cash out small parts of my profits in order to not miss out on more gains.

Unless there are clear signs that the bull phase is over or starting to lose steam, then you can choose to cash out big, but in normal circumstances people are far better off just cashing out smaller parts of their holdings.

Better safe than sorry. No one wants to experience what a lot people experienced last year with how they cashed out far too soon. I wouldn't even be surprised if they bought their coins back at way higher levels.
This is the correct approach to cashing out if the movement in the market is small then you can withdraw a small amount of money, but if the movement in the market is huge like what we saw in the past year you are justified to take your chances and withdraw most of your bitcoin with the hope that some point the price crashes and you can reenter the market at a cheaper price.
1087  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: May 07, 2018, 08:45:24 PM
yes bitcoins is also use in illegal transactions criminals take advantage of this its because bitcoins are so hard the track and also its negative part of bitcoins because of this criminals can move freely without hesitation but if you think about it the advantages of the bitcoin currency has given to us, the perks from using it are a ton they made transactions easier and much more and if used right i know that bitcoin will change the society and surely will have impact at the economy.
Bitcoin is not really that difficult to track, that is just a myth perpetuated by those that do not really know how bitcoin works, also while the advantages of bitcoin surpass any kind of drawback you must understand that most of the advantages of bitcoin are given to the people and not to the governments which is why they want to ban bitcoin because they do not get anything out of it.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: May 07, 2018, 08:41:33 PM
BTC prices are likely to stabilize. Investors will abandon the Crypto market to invest in gold and silver, or investment in banks will be safer. The current high volatility of the Crypto market has attracted many venture capitalists. And success has also come to them greatly.
you are completely mistaken, why people that choose the market of cryptocurrencies knowing full well the risk they were facing will abandon the market for safer markets when the profits are way lower? The only ones that could abandon the market are those that invested in cryptocurrencies not really understanding the huge risk they were taking.
1089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue in Cryptocurrency Trading. on: May 07, 2018, 08:36:47 PM
Without having a patience no one can survive in this crypto market like it moves normally a person with a good patience can only survive in this crypto market. An impatience person who has hurry for making a profit cannot survive in this market.
This is why in the forum you will find that one of the most common strategies that are recommended is long term holding, it gives the best profits, it requires the least amount of effort but it requires from you something very important you need to be patient and if you are not it will be impossible for you to hold for the long term and if that is the case you are going to miss in a lot of profits.
Many had made the mistake of not being patient resulting for them to contribute to panic selling. Learning how to control our emotions will greatly help in dealing with the volatile market. I don't know but maybe the lack of experience is also a factor for some to sell even if they know that they will not have profit from it. Patience is truly important in here and this is based from my own experience, so as as early as possible try to understand the market as well as learn to control yourself in making unnecessary decisions.
Another great factor is knowledge or the lack of it, there are many newbies that enter in this market thinking they are going to earn a fortune in just a few weeks or months by investing 100, and that is simply unrealistic, there are cases of people that made a fortune with very little money, but we cannot expect that to happen to us because that is very similar to winning the lottery you are just relying on your luck.
1090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you should do crisis time in trading ? on: May 07, 2018, 08:33:06 PM
Make a plan and stick to it. If you have no plan of course you are going to make bad decisions and feel anxious. But if you have a game plan you can execute it flawlessly.
I agree with this, there are many people that investing crypto currencies hoping for the best and while I am also expecting that the best scenario happens and to earn a lot of money with bitcoin and my investments in other coins, people need to have a plan just in case things do not go accordingly to what they were expecting that way when something unexpected happens they are not going to panic and take bad decisions.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is the world economy is sliding down? And how bitcoin may help it? on: May 05, 2018, 10:30:02 PM
The world economy sliding down because it is a big lie, I will like to say that they are just mismanaging the economy and that we the only thing that will need to do is for someone to manage it correctly but it is just a fraud at some point it is going to crash and a new system will need to be imposed and unless we return to a solid currency like gold then the system will fail again.
Never expect any country accepting the gold standard any more, there is nothing you can do to improve the economy, the only thing everyone is trying to do is to sustain the economy and bitcoin cannot help improve the economy but it will help in solving issues in global trade and commerce, you cannot call the economic policies fraud but certain policies have made a bigger negative impact in the market.
If the economy the world crashes it is possible that governments around the world will have to adopt the gold standard at least for sometime, I know that they do not like it because gold limits them, they cannot steal wealth from people through inflation tax, instead of raising taxes they can just keep printing money to pay for a huge government and they love it but with gold they cannot do that, but if they are forced to make a choice between losing complete control of the economy or adopting gold I suppose that governments are going to adopt gold.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who else thinks crypto starts crashing as soon as i enter this market. on: May 05, 2018, 10:25:27 PM
Then you choose the wrong timing to enter, sometimes we are too reckless to observe the situation, when the green had happened for quite some times then there will be recovery, but we always think that the green will keep on green, so some people tends to enter when the price is already at peak, and once the correction happened that person will losing money and need to wait for another bull trend
When it comes to trading timing is everything, a difference of a few months in your investment can be the difference between having losses or having profits, for example those that invested in October of the previous year have huge profits right now, while those that invested in December just two months later are still losing money and they will need to hold for a long time before they see profits.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin like a Bubble ? on: May 05, 2018, 10:20:03 PM
Some people say bitcoin is like a bubble and it will burst one day.
Now current situation we can say its price is going down and down.
Is it true that bitcoin is like a bubble ?
Many people compare what's happening with cryptocurrencies with what happened with the tulip mania back in the day, but the biggest difference is that cryptocurrencies actually have some use while tulips are completely useless, so cryptocurrencies themselves are not a bubble but the price at which they trade can create bubbles because of the uneven demand coming from the public.
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real problem of bitcoin price decline on: May 05, 2018, 10:15:32 PM
The real problem of bitcoin price decline is that more of 50% of cryptocurrency community are most of them ignorant and lazy people , they just follow rumors , they never get news from trusted source , never do research and this what create this panic Sales on the market and this bloody bath that you see right now , they heard about bad news from India so they start selling and never try to understand what was the news and  what is really going on , and did this affects on bitcoin or not , I am sick and tired of those kind of people .
If you don't believe in bitcoin just walk away , we don't need you in our community .
What you are saying is true but it is going to be impossible to keep people like that outside of the community, as long as you have money and you're willing to risk it you can buy bitcoin, and as long as you have bitcoins you have all the right to sell it whenever you want even if by doing so you lose money, in fact you should be glad that there are people like that in the community because we are the ones that earn money while they are the ones that lose it.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: May 05, 2018, 10:04:10 PM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
Unless in some point in the future governments of the world ban icos we are not going to see the death of icos at all, there are many icos coming every day with new ideas and new applications for the blockchain, some of them are good and some of them are bad, but when you take into account the amount of money that developers can make with an ico and the amount of money that investors can make when a coin skyrockets the incentive to keep icos alive is simply too strong.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brian Kelly Predicts Bitcoin Price Will Increase $25,000 by the Year End on: May 04, 2018, 11:45:21 PM
The CEO and Founder of digital assets investment fund BKCM LLC, Brian Kelly predict that Bitcoin could attain $25000, a new high by this year.

Read detail info here: https://coinpedia.org/news/brian-predicts-bitcoin-price/
I am not so sure we're going to reach that price, the last bull market was created when the developers activated segwit, but I do not see the enthusiasm that I saw back then and without any hype it is going to be almost impossible to reach that price, however I think that price may be possible in the next two or three years but if it happens any sooner I will not complain.
1097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: May 04, 2018, 11:35:18 PM
I found the op perspective refreshing. In addition to all that has been said, I leave by the maxim that says ant profit is a profit, it doesn't matter how small it is if you are in profit , you have gain something and you should be happy and proud of your accomplishment.
This is where you excel for when you are contented to be happy on what you have gain for and be proud just make sure you do some improvement for this to be.

That's exactly the reason why I have started to make trades for about 5% where before I had consider them "not enough".
5% gained are 5% gained that won't be taken from me.
If there is more profit to make I will make it and unti that time has come I continue to make small profits.
That is a lot more healthy, there are many traders that are always looking to make a big trade in which they double or triple their money and while that is possible we need to be honest with ourselves, how many times that is going to happen? You will need a very bullish market and when that happens you do not need a lot of skill you just need to buy and let the market to do its thing, so it is better to aim low, not only it is better it is also easier, because there are many more opportunities to make 5% with a trade than to make 100% with a trade.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ICO period long? on: May 04, 2018, 11:23:22 PM
This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

There is not a single reason that we can pinpoint to know why some icos prefer to have a long period of time to sell their coins, it is up to the developers to decide how long they want the ico phase to last, if I were you and I was looking to claim from a bounty I will probably choose an ico that does not last as long that way you get your payment in tokens way faster.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: May 04, 2018, 11:17:15 PM
I've seen the proof that this bitcoin business is very lucrative and profitable, some of my friends who have been playing Bitcoin for a long time, the average of them have become successful people! it also motivates me to join and join this bitcoin world. and I hope to be like them, who have been playing Bitcoin for a long time. successful, rich, have a luxury car and all the needs of his life fulfilled even can be said more.
The best thing is that you can join their success by just working hard and by being very patient, if you do those two things then it is almost guaranteed that you are going to become successful thanks to bitcoin because the price does not stop to go up, so as long as you do not do anything dumb like selling your bitcoin for a terrible price your profits will be great in the long term.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you keep your private keys?? I need good ideas!! on: May 03, 2018, 10:59:29 PM
I guess it would be best to store private keys in your mind, like mentioned, but thats nearly impossibel,at least to me so just write it down - on paper not digital- if you think you need to buy a safe (in case of fire or robbing) to safe your money, then buy one! If it is worth the value, otherwise store a backup at a persons you really trust.
Or rent a safe at a bank..
Storing your private key or your seed words in a safe at a bank it is the same as having your money in the bank, maybe they do not have control of the money directly but technically the only way that you can access that money is through the bank because it's there, also in many countries it is legal for governments to check the contents that people store in a safe of a bank without any kind of court order, so someone could steal your bitcoin and cryptocurrencies very easily if you do that.
