1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether's Stablecoin USDT 'Has a Peg Stability Problem', Claims Analyst on: September 12, 2023, 04:06:40 AM
why does a company need to be involved in tether though. people have to trust a company! isn't that like the antithesis of bitcoin? you would think with all the high tech blockchain stuff we wouldn't have to rely on a company. even relying on a government would be an improvement over that, i would think. but who wants to rely on a government. so it's really bad. bad all around.

tether could just stop redeeming tethers and the value of usdt would go to 0. because no one else redeems it except tether!
More realistic to this story would be that you see things like trading btc/food, water, fire, cigarettes, electricity,... but no it's not happening like that and what people is using and the desire I see here is harmony from bitcoin, not isolation from theory. The terms decentralization, or centralization label many things. I see sometimes people just want to prove a stance on an issue they support, the general view here is that Tether is still very important anyway. In this market and in the future after all the FUD or negative opinions from someone, it is still the main choice of users.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's Endgame on: September 12, 2023, 03:56:20 AM
Ever since ETH adopted PoS, things have been going into the wrong direction. The network is as centralized as ever with a few big players controlling a large portion of ETH's supply. On top of that, the vast majority of nodes are running on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
I'm not sure the future is so far away as it's clear what's showing and pointing towards the next bull cycle shows that ETH is still showing that they're worthy of the position, looking at things like L2 being pursued today or not even with previous ETH competitors, ETH will always be the object of great attention in market movements.

My biggest concern is not only this, but also Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin. The project is too tied around him. So if he dies (God forbid) or something bad happens to him, you expect ETH's market prices to go all the way down the drain in an instant. It's likely ETH will become worthless after this.
I see that as not a problem, what we are looking at is superficially like the story of the leader driving the product, and of course something as big as Ethereum will not be able to succumb to this problem, the team is not only Vitalik, there will be replacements to help the project operate and develop after many generations. The story that comes to mind is that corporations as we know them last for decades, and they continue when the leaders change.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 Crypto and It's Targets for Next Bull Run on: September 12, 2023, 03:44:06 AM
1. Bitcoin -  $173,805
2. Ethereum - $11,460
3. BNB - $1,190
4. XRP - $8.97
5. ADA - $12.37
6. DOGE - $0.96
7. Solana - $1,367
8. TRX - $0.15
9. MATIC - $7
10. LTC - $361
First you do not need to trust this as OP has said it is a speculation, but if you do trust the speculation, it does not mean that you should invest in all ten of them. It is a better to pick a few and invest in, and in your choices, bitcoin has to be among surely.

The more the amount you have to invest the bigger the temptation which you must avoid to try to invest in all.
Of course, investing is not too dependent on anyone's speculation, it's everyone's initiative. Looking back at what the OP mentioned, I find it quite relaxing in the current context. We are going through a really unexciting time in the market, so speculation seems to be blowing a breath of air into this gloomy atmosphere.

By the way, a little personal speculation, I see Doge boldly proposing a price of $10 (current madness) in the near future, the scenario I imagine is that Elon Musk continues to dip got my hands on it and there was a pump combined with the market condition at the time so that price is a bit ambiguous here Smiley
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 12, 2023, 03:30:25 AM
In this environment we can discuss more openly, not only bitcoin but also altcoins are things that hackers target to target the objects within it. I have also experienced a few attacks and damage to my wallet, but what I learned was more about my own mistakes during use to recover later.

New people appear in this market and they pay little attention to security as well as easily fall into traps in cyberspace, sometimes warnings appear a lot but ignoring them makes them pay the price. In the process of continuing, before these challenges I think it is a failure, because it is clear that this is an opportunity that not everyone is aware of, so we should update and adapt to changes in the process.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: September 11, 2023, 05:23:07 AM
As an investor, i did a lots of invest in altcoins. Those were suppose to be good that time with having good hype, good team and community. But with having all of thats, most of altcoins scam after a time! I wonder for some altcoins, they were suppose not to be go but they scammed without any reason! And hundreds of altcoins are in my wallet, which are turn into dead shitcoin now.
There are a lot of opinions on shitcoin and I think they are all right, most of them are negative projects but there is also a positive aspect if we look at it as lessons to stay away from those things. I have also bought and held shitcoins, the laughter afterwards sometimes also makes me feel lucky with things that I consider jokes, like the current market context, new forms appear a lot and shitcoins always appear.

For now, perhaps it's still a basic start with knowledge in this space, avoiding FOMO on things you don't understand, greed will lead to mistakes. Like some projects in the past, they copied each other's ideas, and found every way to launch trending things in many fields and labeled crypto to attract people, most of them are existing projects. at a very short time, with anonymous teams or no one really knows who they are, and sometimes there are some quite professional but still fail in the market.

1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LAYER 2 projects to HOLD waiting for the next uptrend of the cryptocurrency. on: September 10, 2023, 05:31:18 AM
It has always been unclear to me why the success of crypto projects is associated with the price of a coin if we do not receive any dividends from owning this coin.
Like this is a pattern of most product projects developed in the crypto market, some prominent names like Metamask, Opensea,... are all very successful and famous products, I think The revenue they earn is huge, and they also don't have any representative coins/tokens even though users always expect that. However, it is clear that if there is no coin/token representing the product, it must be truly recognized by users, and the problem of users using that crypto leads to projects.

The securities market is more understandable, where the price of a security is directly related to the success of the company and, accordingly, dividends.
Yes, I also very much agree with you on this point of view, obviously the crypto market is still too small so there is a lot of chaos within it, strong price fluctuations from easy pump/dump manipulation but of course, if it brings investment opportunities, I think it will be necessary to adapt and learn.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / LAYER 2 projects to HOLD waiting for the next uptrend of the cryptocurrency. on: September 07, 2023, 12:26:39 AM
Competition in crypto is always one of the things that appears familiar in the  market. Recalling a bit of what we went through in the most recent uptrend cycle,
that competition is mainly in the top L1, and is easily accessible. Things will not be like this forever, as many problems have been seen, such as operations, fees, speed,...
and L2 will be a new competition to solve these problems.

Why is it like that?

If everyone notices that L2 listing or airdrop announcement, then the market is quite exciting, and there are quite a lot of people participating in the market.
Looking at the overall data, markercap,... L2 projects always have Top crypto, TVL is also something that says many things, like a high TVL will depend on the project
team working well as a whole. Use trust when staking into pools in the L2 ecosystem.

A year and a half ago, I heard many people talking about ETH vs BNB in the near future, but now that L2 has joined the main Ethereum network, it is
creating expansion as well as bringing in more Dapps networks, and ETH's TVL has far surpassed BNB. I know the story that when entering the uptrend
period, the investment tendency of traders is to use a lot of money to invest in this market, as I recently saw things about L2 investors raising money.
A lot of money (there are projects raising more than $100 million) has partly determined the trend will belong to L2, at the same time, Ethereum's L1
competitors do not have many breakthroughs or marketing for money to flow in L2, which is constantly being marketed on every social channel. The upcoming
Ethereum updates will aim to expand the network as well as other L2, and every time an L2 project launches a token, it is an exciting time in the crypto community.

So the vision with L2 top What is that?

          TVL: ~ $704,72m
          Market cap: ~ $1b

          TVL: ~$1,7b
          Market cap:  ~$1,2b

          TVL: ~ $804,8m
          Market cap:  ~ $5,1b

I see this as the top project on L2 that I'm also paying a lot of attention to,

the first project OP is quite interested in, there's a lot to say about it but I think simplification is the start, I' m sure this is one
of the projects that people pay a lot of attention to and are accumulat, talking about features, the project helps reduce fees, speed up...
bring smoothness but still safety.

ARB with its extremely huge TVL/mc ratio, it deserves a leading position in the crypto market.

As for MATIC, I see their strength as they have been around for a long time so they have enough experience and strategy.
_______________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________

So through this, I also had a few small studies as well as speculation about L2 in the near future. Basically, most of the things that L2 needs to do well are process
transactions at a fast speed, reduce gas fees,  scales Dapp deployment, and require a strong enough MM to maintain the price. And this is also my speculation
about the top L2 projects, the information and opinions are all based on personal subjective knowledge, hoping to receive everyone's contribution. In addition, you
can also suggest the L2 project you are following.

1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala - is it over or will it recover? on: September 06, 2023, 09:24:44 AM
Just an update on my own situation - I am currently 52% down in my Gala position.

I haven't bought any for a while and only planning to if it falls to £0.01 which would be another 18% drop from where it is at current price.

If this situation is as bad as everyone says it is, then it should fall to my target price and I will then buy my last 20,000 Gala which will take me to 50,000 total.

I will then hold and just hope for the best and that it makes it to the bull run, if it recovers then great if not then I can live with the loss.

I first invested in Gala hoping it would reach £1 next bull run , but now I will be happy if it can just make it back to £0.10.

I think you have an easy strategy with it, indeed this is not a project that I am interested in but I also think it will still respond and maintain future growth with the fields of trend combination new direction. It would be very relaxing if anyone was comfortable investing and facing losses. Personally, when I look at the GALA/USDT chart, I also think it depends on the level of research to make an investment decision with it.
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 06, 2023, 09:13:45 AM
At a basic user level, I think KYC is the bare minimum to keep yourself safe while using any CEX, but depending on the purpose of use, one can use thousands of accounts KYC pass. To be honest, sometimes I really want to protest the meaninglessness of a cyberspace where identity becomes unconvincing, but as a habit, I find that whether I like or hate this issue, it's okay there is no difference.
I remember some CEX's in the past that leaked personal information of users, and I also find it very funny that confidential identity is just a term we think it is, so there are many options about whether to accept it or not?

I think it's important to be proactive in using and choosing appropriate services.

1271  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 06, 2023, 09:03:50 AM
Let's suppose you have a limited budget which can be used only for one of the alternatives below:

What is the best investment, in your opinion? To use this money to pay for your education, so you can conclude a superior course and achieve a higher degree, having access to a wide jobs' market, or to use that money to acquire an apartment, house or piece of land, so you can make a passive income from this?

It brings the following question up: what is more valued in life: to be or to have? Does it make someone fulfilled to have while not being or being without having anything?
You remind me of the story of what we need.

I remember that the story started with the question what do you need? Then the answers like money, beautiful wife, rich husband, famous people, successful people, billionaires, ... answers about material and fame forever have no end. And the answer that woke me up was "we all need one thing only, that we don't need anything more".

Every nuance in different lives will let us feel what we are being taught, the choice is up to us to decide, in the right position for the conditions, there is no need to make the formula too complicated. someone to apply should someone else. And when looking at materialism and fame as just something we create, not something that creates us, I think anyone will be satisfied with their stance.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: September 05, 2023, 09:15:18 AM
I think here everyone must admit the fact that China is good at diversity and innovation. It's clear that the difficult global context has caused many areas to limit development, leading to problems economy. I've only seen data from the press for a long time as a source of what they want us to pay attention to, and in terms of economics, we have to observe many other issues that they are concerned about, from policies their changes, their position internationally all demonstrate that success cannot be denied.

I know that many people don't like China (or rather the government) but they obviously can't please everyone, and the truth is they are also trying to do well. In addition, I also heard about domestic consumption recovering quickly in China. Chinese people have a strong propensity to consume, and the rapid recovery of the consumer market has helped drive economic development.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: September 05, 2023, 09:02:48 AM
Personally, I would not risk investing in a bnb in the long term, because the result is not guaranteed and you could lose your money.

Binance is exposed to a lot of problems, and recently we saw how support for BUSD (which was used to support BNB sometimes) was stopped, so this is a risk.
As far as I know, the issue you mentioned has been announced by Binance. I understand the short-term story with Binance is showing many doubts about the price increase, but the 5year story is next, time is not short in this market and it is difficult for us to speculate about a certain future.
Personally, I doubt there is a positive possibility for Binance, they will overcome all the FUD and become stronger, of course the volatility in the next five years will be enough to surprise us, I think in the near future the price will could drop by $50 and in the next 5 year growth target we will see the value touch at $5000.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layer 2 Projects Speculation on: September 05, 2023, 08:54:16 AM
What are the layer 2 projects for the targeting mainnet airdrops?
It's as a marketing tool to increase awareness and promote their project. L2 projects really attract attention when they focus on topics that interest the community in this market, and sometimes there is also FOMO, when I see some opportunities to receive money, I think people will find it.
Some of the prominent names that I witnessed such as OP, ARB,... all had huge airdrops with people who are active on their ecosystem, I think this is not difficult to join just a contest take time to make sure you research the features you need to use to get a good position on the snapshot list.
1275  Economy / Economics / Re: People keep talking how weak dollar and how bad usa economy getting on: September 05, 2023, 08:47:30 AM
In fact, what we observe with the current situation, the unemployment index, employment, output, ... refers to the general context of the economy is very difficult, the position of the United States over the years. Recently, it has been struggling with its strong rise in the mid-terms. From the time of the epidemic, to other notable international issues, many large countries are wanting to separate from US control in the economic aspect. I do not expect the competitive scenario to lead to war settlements, but still hope that economic transformation and change will make the countries harmonious, no matter who's economic status, it would be great if they worked together to help people overcome difficulties.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government vs Bitcoin on: September 05, 2023, 08:39:27 AM
Sometimes it's just an excuse for the government to expose its power, most of the FUDs that I've heard about Bitcoin are just a one-sided view from a personal point of view, money laundering, crime Crime, clean energy,... have never been convincing enough to say that bitcoin is harmful. Moreover, more and more people are admitting that the useful feature that people get when learning about and using bitcoin so it is bullshit with unverified information about bitcoin, but it is are still in the information data system, so recognizing and understanding them takes time. I think it won't be long before we see wider acceptance of bitcoin in the near future.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: September 03, 2023, 07:59:10 AM
Not sure exactly, but this is all I can remember from a listing service:
Quote
1. Tier 1
Okx - 150k$-300k$
Crypto.com - 150K$-300K$
Phemex - 100K Liquidity-Free
Huobi - 100K-250k$
Kucoin -  100k-300K$
Bithumb -  70K-100K$
Bybit -  60K-200k$
Gate.io -  50K-300k$
BitGet - 40K -150K$
BingX -  40K-100K$

2. Tier 2
MEXC - 20K$ + 30K$ Tokens
Lbank - 40K$
Bkex - 34,500$
BitMart - 29,500$
XT - 20,000$
BTCEX - 15K$-20K$
Probit - 15K-20k$
Coinw - 15K$
Bitrue - 12K-25K$
Digifinex - 10K$

3. Tier 3
Latoken - 10K$-15K$
Coinstore - 10k$
CoinTiger - 5K$
Localtrade - 4k$-6K$
IndoEX - 3K$-5K$
Coinsbit - 3,5K$
DEX Trade - 2.5K$
Azbit - 1K$-3K$
vinDax - 924$

It's not really quality, which I refer to here and also another listing story, simply relationships and financial security to be able to be anywhere. Some of the places I know of are like spaces for listing memecoins and shitcoins. Perhaps the marketing as well as the introduction of many projects are following a certain pattern, sometimes they just differ in the form names and the content is the same and there is a rich source of money to spread many different exchanges(small tip for exaggeration), in addition to not only listing with cex, but I also came across dozens of different marketing services.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE's $16M Nightmare: Ex-Team Under Fire on: September 03, 2023, 07:39:53 AM
They are having unexpected problems, and this is also one of the stories that teaches us a lesson about uncensored memecoins that are only fueled by hype, and when researched again, discovered problem appears. Right from the moment it first appeared and was pumped continuously, I always felt it was too fast, and this was an extremely dangerous pump/dump manipulation for those who bought after. I have also heard about a lot of other issues, but not too important because memecoin is only a small part of the market, even if it does not exist, the developers will again launch products and apply formula to strengthen it.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: September 03, 2023, 07:32:21 AM
In fact, no one can predict the cryptocurrency market 100% in advance. But according to last year's data, bitcoin halving is going to start in 2024. And since there is no record yet of a bull run occurring during the bitcoin halving, I cannot say that the bull run will begin in 2024. However, a correction may be made for the market bull run to start in Q4 2024, as the previous bull runs started in the year after the halving.
The truth is like that, and we all find enough reasons to discuss that price increase taking place in the future. I also think that the halving event will be a premise to attract investor interest in the market.
There will be a lot of hype before and after this issue causing the price of bitcoin to fluctuate wildly, speculatively I understand the benefits of early speculation for that time, there will be new trends coming soon with follow to increase the active part in the market.
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market will pump soon? on: September 03, 2023, 07:26:17 AM
...So what do you think? We are going to notice recovery soon? Or many dumps are waiting ahead?
Its fluctuations are not strange to those who have known it for a while. It is both an opportunity and a risk for all of us long-term investing in this market I think carries less risk, it is enough for any new entrant who has experience with volatility to draw useful lessons for himself. The current context has fluctuations to find short-term trends in the coming time. I also believe that by 2024, positive signals will help crypto grow.
