1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inspiring Projects Shaping the Future on: October 24, 2023, 11:16:44 AM
First is Bitcoin, I have to use the word "grateful" to express to bitcoin all the things it brings. A wealth of knowledge about the economy, the workings of finance, and how Bitcoin works is impacting and that gives confidence in a future of crypto adoption. Then there is the rest of this market, altcoins give me a sense of convenient crypto usage, although it is sometimes manipulated due to the young investment environment. But the fields that we have seen appear such as IoT, AI, web3, health, energy, education,... are promising fields in the development period of the future of digital technology.

1142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 24, 2023, 11:03:02 AM
So, after i saw that Gambling was mentioned or listed among the listed illicit activities through which money can or could be laundered, I can't help but wonder if gambling is actually an illicit activity.
Gambling is not an illegal activity, but people are the cause of that illegality.

But as a tool in life, it is built to support people, but how to use it for what purpose is a matter of the user.

Perhaps because the legal issue of gambling has not been specifically recognized, people only know about part of the content and consider it as everything. Some places consider this illegal, let alone using it. So anyway, depending on the perception in the current context, we should also have an open view of gambling, play happily without too much calculation.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 24, 2023, 10:55:52 AM
' KYC verification ' the thing that I feel really makes the least sense in how to operate the next steps, but I don't mean to avoid it.

For valid identities, I think gambling platforms have not too strict verification steps, so if we don't want to provide real information, we can absolutely use alternative information, and in case as the OP assumes, I think things are quite comfortable when winning prizes and withdrawing money is simply a matter of providing your identity, so there's nothing to fear if that money is more important than your reputation, and in the case of people with important identities, they may not need that money.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: October 24, 2023, 08:46:55 AM
I read some Twitter users with big followers that cryptocurrency market is going to be bullish.

Bitcoin halving will come in 2024.

Bitcoin will have a big bull run in 2024.

What altcoins can help me rich in 2024 and 2025?

Any idea?
I think people who are serious about investing will not advise you to invest in something you don't understand. What you need to invest here is knowledge and experience, I'm sure you are in a state of FOMO because of the price increase in recent days, yes I have also come across a lot of positive news being spread.

Some things that I think will benefit you
- Redefine knowledge from basic to advanced about the market
- Determine the capital that can be spent on the investment
- Develop a plan (time to take profit or cut loss)

...
There are many other things that appear but I think these will be the basics for beginners, and remember that the risk and profit are created by you. Don't just fantasize, but be more realistic about your actions so you can hope for a good result.
1145  Economy / Economics / Re: What does being rich mean in your perspective? on: October 24, 2023, 08:34:14 AM
I just mentioned my views on money in another thread, but there's still some content that I still want to mention here.
Quote
Perhaps looking at the issue of wealth beyond the scope of material things (money), it also includes other intangible things that we accidentally forget such as intelligence, health, spirit,...
Because of my limited understanding, I cannot fully understand the problems in which people can use it in different positions to get effective results. But maybe the problem is that I first see money as just a useful tool for our lives, fair and not by being intertwined in the macro environment. And using it to meet personal needs is really very small because the nature of our needs is often quite easy. I think using money in a beneficial way and avoiding waste is the way to help us. we get a little happiness from this tool. Sharing material things with those in need, yes this is very necessary and should be done. Besides, it is also necessary to share intelligence, health, spirit,... with everyone, and a truly rich person is someone who is always free in every decision they make.

1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? on: October 24, 2023, 08:17:35 AM
If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? If not, how many bitcoins holding is equal to being rich in your opinion ?
Perhaps looking at the issue of wealth beyond the scope of material things (money), it also includes other intangible things that we accidentally forget such as intelligence, health, spirit,... Evaluating an individual based on their assets to conclude wealth is a lame comparison in many places. I think it would be similar to the fact that your spending in a luxury city like New York would be completely different from Monrovia Liberia, and this appears on a global scale, making it even more difficult to give a convincing answer. But considering the logic, if you own BTC and have access to investment, it is always an opportunity for you to have a life with more money.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: October 24, 2023, 08:08:36 AM
As title says, for example Solana dropped 10x, will it easily 10x again during next bull cycle in late 2025?
Last time round I bet on BCH to 10x having dropped 10x.... IT DID SWEET FA.

What say you?  Wink
IMO, it's hard to say that any altcoin can repeat that performance in this market because we all understand that a lot of altcoins only appear in the short term and they do not maintain their existence in this market long enough over several cycles to regain ATH.
As was the case with XRP last season, it did not meet expectations, but the point is that investing is risky and as some members have mentioned, there is no guarantee that the bullrun will take place in 2025. So I can only express that if you have to research and build a clear strategy with a specific coin, you need to evaluate the criteria to see if they are worth keeping in the short or long term.
Most likely, top coins in every exchanges or in this industry in general are the ones which would make it once bullmarket take place as we saw from previous ones. But if it is with generativity, then all tokens has a tendency to be up, it is just not all cryptos are still having the same volume of investors which might yield to lack of demand. Perhaps with memetokens which are currently in hype. Its market price is way too low than its ATH but its market prices are still ‘active enough’ to see changes whenever major coins are experiencing pumps as well. Increase might not be in an instant or may not be higher than x10 but as long as it still have the potential for increase then it would still be a good buy during bearish market situations.
I also agree with your opinion, although it is quite general on the issue of investment objects. I see things moving away from the problem that perhaps it just needs to be simpler in the portfolio to have the research more refined. Many different products in the crypto space have achieved their own success and provided benefits to users, but it is clear that we still have a long way to go before everything is perfect. And the story of the old altcoin returning to ATH is also one of the lessons that I have applied. In general, it is only when I go into practical experience that I think it will be clearer how to realize its potential. As a slightly objective individual, I like the wave of altcoins, but in reality, it is quite short-lived and sometimes mixed with emotions. To reach the profit target, as I mentioned, be ready for everything.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Coin is Best for short term speculation on: October 24, 2023, 07:57:57 AM
(...)I also expected you guys to speculate names of coins like PEPE which have done some significant price movement and most importantly what it takes to arrive at another pump.
Honestly, I'm not one to speculate and look for opportunities with fluctuating hype trends. But of course some lowcap terms, gems,... will appear more in the near future, and there will be new names that will make the FOMO community crazy.
Previously, I thought about some meme names that hadn't appeared yet but when I searched for them, they had already been created Smiley , though some areas of ecosystem infrastructure and surrounding utilities will always be available. These are things that developers exploit at each bullrun stage, so after doing some searches, I boldly mentioned some names like friend tech, memeland,... but most of them are just short projects and if the opportunity is seized, I think some projects will bring big profits.

1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Coin is Best for short term speculation on: October 23, 2023, 06:38:31 AM
I'm not sure which one will be the best but I think in the short term we can easily see altcoin growth, I think there will be a lot of names like ETH, BNB, XRP, LTC,DOT, LINK, .. will all receive a pump.
But obviously we all understand the volatility of this market, and everything should be balanced between risk and reward. Although recently I have always encouraged the accumulation of BTC, but this topic is about short-term altcoin content so I recommend that everyone calculate carefully before making a decision.

1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could BIGTIME token sustain its current tempo? on: October 15, 2023, 06:26:12 AM
Is the source of this hype coming from Elon Musk, when recently he has been continuously testing live streaming games on the X twitter platform, and some people like to speculate that this will explode again towards p2e. Actually, few in this market can maintain their existence in that field, and most products are created only for the short-term purpose of following the hype.
With Bigtime, I'm not sure, but fomo is different from the problem of working well, as some information that I know is still very early and will likely repeat the footsteps of other projects. Other than that, it has increased in price thanks to the marketing process as well as the community's fomo, continue to observe to see if they are really serious.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easy to trust someone? on: October 15, 2023, 06:18:08 AM
A lot of questions have no answers, but only a few have the right answers to 95% of some questions. Well, let me start with trust. Can you trust a person, either a friend, family or a relative, with 100% complete trust? Let me answer myself first? NO I can't. I can't trust anybody fully 100% anymore because I have seen some though cases.
I'm not sure, but each person's life is different and each person has countless questions, so it creates a difference, the belief for a specific issue is different from the belief for others. for the object the OP mentioned. Just like you said, I don't completely believe in it. It's only when I test it myself that that belief can be built. I still remember an excerpt from a teacher that I greatly admire even when even if you worship them, don't rush to believe their opinions, but check for yourself to see if they are true.

However, almost all of us here have a fiat bank account and some of us have what we call a personal identification number, which refers to an ATM pin that we use for withdrawal or sending funds out, so the question is a bit simple: WHO DO YOU TRUST WITH YOUR BANK ATM PIN? if you have a person that you fully trust with your ATM pin, can you also trust that same person with your seed phrase?
This problem pertains to physical property, and for me it's much simpler to fully accept that it's being used by someone I trust to use it properly, knowing the information. There's no problem with that secret information. But what we consider confidential information is actually to me simply the complexity of controlling behavior. If we could witness everyone lovingly helping and sharing each other's difficulties, it would be better. There will no longer be doubt, jealousy, greed,... and material assets will also be seen as a tool to support each other, not something we try to find a way to protect and keep .
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: Not your keys > Evergrande collapse triggers bank run in China on: October 14, 2023, 06:51:33 AM
Yes i also have mixed feelings, I just want to said that china old government have the responsibility of this, I mean those that established the ONE child per family policy back in 80's
https://www.britannica.com/topic/one-child-policy

The consequences of this will slow down its economy
According to your logic, the people responsible are the leaders with unreasonable precision being applied. But I also want to express about the population issue whether that is a factor from the argument you mentioned Population increases > there are many opportunities for labor resources But wait, are they slowing down?

Looking back at what has happened and is happening, more accurately, as I understand it, this contributes to minimizing a number of problems such as lack of food and fuel,... So we shouldn't look at the problem in a certain way. After all, suppressing the lead is bringing more benefits than harm, it's a macro story. And returning to more micro stories about family life itself, try asking again if a household is poor and has too many children, what will be the problem? The timelines and implementation to date are also quite similar to such a context. As for the current economic problem, we have too many things going on, but rather it brings a gloomy atmosphere, from epidemics, wars, energy and food,... it's all there. Many things are harmful to life. Not only does it stop at real estate issues, but it is also obvious when their speed increases too fast like a balloon waiting to burst.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: October 14, 2023, 06:32:58 AM

Are you a billionaire? Contrast cases with many legacies in the world looking at their lives and the legacy they leave behind, as well as whether they have to worry about protecting or sharing it. It's like a journey that only comes when you reach milestones in this life, otherwise those questions will be dismissed. Although I personally am not a rich person in terms of money, I will still try to complete it first before thinking about other distant things and especially avoid negative thoughts. It's similar to when you plant trees to harvest fruit, and before you start planting, you think those fruits will go to waste.

But if you are still afraid, I have a suggestion go to a reputable law firm and make a will as well as notify your family about it and of course the content in it will no need to reveal, rest assured that even if you exist or no longer exist, what you have prepared will be the back story and don't need to worry too much if you are dead.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your Favorite Altcoin and Why? on: October 13, 2023, 02:06:03 PM
Before that it was ETH and I think in the future maybe LINK will also be used more often.  For me, there is not much difference in the altcoin category, the top ones will always be known by many people as well as the opportunities they bring during use. But there are some things that people only come back to when there is some hype, or simply a switch back and forth towards altcoins.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: October 13, 2023, 08:34:15 AM
IMO, it has real potential but what has been shown in this market is mostly hype with only a few bringing value to users and the rest most developers follow that hype and turn it into reality. become a trend according to many people's concepts.
The NFT and P2E field is a big piece of cake that I believe many developers will exploit, I am also someone who follows some of the top performing games like CSGO, PUBG, LOL,... I really have I'm surprised that some accessories in each game are so valuable. So it's not until their products create their own environment to attract users, and in the crypto environment there are some things that do quite well, but the big problem is still the valuation value based on that. What makes them work? I have a little speculation that there will be other hype in the future regarding digital real estate, whether it is worth it or not is the answer for us to decide, it may be that it is not popular yet. Looking at the way Meta (facebook) is doing I think this will be a field in the future.
1160  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy Crisis 2.0 in the New World Order era on: October 13, 2023, 08:19:04 AM
In addition, I also want to mention another competition that we don't seem to hear much about semiconductor chip materials, almost all future technology development depends on this. And I also ask big questions about whether it can be a source of competition for big countries, specifically the Taiwan area issue, the risk of war in this area at one time seemed like we can believe that mainland China will make moves to absorb Taiwan.

The construction of a new polarized world order to avoid control from the United States on a global scale has also appeared a lot, and I also understand that the story of war is inevitable, areas are is a hot spot of war that really plays an important role in energy.
